Best Birthday Trip Ever

Made our driver was on time, was very knowledgeable about Bali talked about different places, even talked to us to see how our day was going. We book the tour the day before Nepi day and all the roads was closed. Made knew the towns went back ways and still managed to get us to do everything on the tour we wanted to do, after roads were closing. If Need to Book tour book with Made he is amazing, i will let everyone know about his service.

Delightful Day in Ubud Bali with Made who was a superb guide

Highly recommended! My Bali excursion with Made was the best thing I did in Bali. Ubud has a lot going for it, but we were only here for a short time and didn't want to spend our time here looking into a screen to plan, or being anxious that we'd miss one of the highlights. Booking a tour was an easy way to ensure we'd be able to kick back and get the highlights. We ended up getting a lot more out of it than we expected because Made helped us connect and understand the Balinese culture through his stories and explanations. Best of Ubud with Made

Today we had the pleasure of having Made as our tour guide, while visiting some of Ubud's finest attractions such as The Tirta Empul Temple, Kanto lampo and tibumana Waterfall, Sacred Monkey Forest, Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Rice terraces was amazing with the beautiful landscape. lunch place have nice view and good food also. we tried the swing at the same spot and was fun. I must say this tour is amazing in getting to see the beauty Bali has to offer & understanding the culture aswell truly a five star experience. A very big thank you to our guide Made who made the experience soo much better with accomodating our every needs & sharing his knowledge about Balinese history & culture as well as a great photographer. Can highly recommend this tour service and it was excellent value. Was an action packed day!

Correct and polite person, available for advice and tours. in addition to the working relationship, we have established a human relationship; which for a person on holiday alone, was amazing! highly recommended!

Great trip from Sanur to Ubud

We had a fantastic day to Ubud and surrounding areas. Our driver, Maha, was wonderful - he was so friendly and knowledgeable. He was also a very safe driver and the car was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Maha - he will give you a terrific trip!

Our tour was fabulous! This is my second trip with Wayan, when I visited Bali last year he made our trip magical so I had to organise a tour with him again! Wayan is an amazing guide who is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! He is very informative and taught us a lot about Balinese culture! Lovely trip and guide.

Brilliant day, our tour guide Wayan even stopped off at the coffee plantation for us too. He also took lots of pictures for us and gave great explanations regarding the sites! Thank you for such a great day!

Wayan was great!!

Tour was very scenic and the waterfalls were definitely worth it and the swing at the rice fields is a must! Wayan spoke English very well and even took some wonderful pictures had a very enjoyable day and would definitely recommend having wayan as a guide!

Top guide saved us!

We took the tour with Made, and fortunately he understood that, being the two of us not that young, the visit to the waterfalls, would have been a problem due to the natural and long stairways needed to reach them (by the way, it should be clearly stated that it is a 400+ stairs walk...) So Made proposed us a tailored tour that came out perfect: everything smooth, easy-going, well explained! Thanks Made for your intelligent, wise and captivating professionalism.

Couldn’t recommend more!!

We absolutely loved our tour! This was actually the second time we have had a day tour with Made, with the first being in 2017. It stuck in our minds so much that we didn’t hesitate to set up a second tour this time around. Made allowed the tour to be catered to exactly where we wanted to go and had some great recommendations. He was extremely knowledgeable about Balinese culture and heritage and was able to answer the many questions that we had. Could not recommend this more and we will be setting up another one next time we are in Bali!

I had a beautiful time on this tour. From start to finish Made our tour guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Not only were the site stunning. But I was happy that he explained about the Balinese culture. Everytime I asked him a question regarding a site or culture he was always ready with an answer. He went above and beyond to make sure we were having a beautiful time. He keep checking to see if we needed any help. He even asked if we needed help with pictures. When traveling in a group its nice to have someone offer to help take a group photo.

The best tour experience with our tour guide Made, he went above and beyond even before we went on the tour with him, from helping me clear up mistakes from my travel agency to finding me new tours for cheaper, negotiating with our purchases, to timing our tour stops properly to avoid large crowds. This was not only a fun experience but a memorable one!!! I am not writing this because I need to I truly am recommending him for your best experience in Bali!!!

Made our tour guide

Very fun experience. We did everything we need to do for that day on good timing. Our tour guide was very helpful and kind. Felt comfortable to sleep in his car after the long day. On this trip I have turned 18 and left with my aunt and cousin(just us girls) and felt safe in made hands.

Great tour with the best guide

This was our 2nd time traveling around Bali with Made and I would do it a hundred times more! He is very welcoming with always a big smile on his face. He made us feel very comfortable during our stay, he was always on time, he made sure we could meet locals and get to know a lot about Balinese culture, religion, habits and cuisine. Ubud Monkey forest is always a great idea, with the cheeky monkeys and spectacular scenery. Checking out the rice terraces is a must, if you spend time around Bali and the swings are great fun, even if you don’t just do it for the Gram. If you wish to take fancy photos there, don’t worry about bringing nice clothes, you can rent one in every colour of the rainbow. We really enjoyed every tour with Made, 100% recommend. ☺️

Made was our guide when we visited Bali for the first time 7 years ago. It was natural to ask him being our guide again - this time he organized 4 amazing day trips for us, including this one. Made is the best guide on the island! He is really knowledgeable, shares lots of interesting stories about Bali, the culture and the local people. He is also very attentive. He remembers our preferences, provides us water, buys us small local bites during the trips etc. It’s also very easy to communicate with him. He has excellent command of English and is super responsive via Whatsapp whenever we had questions before or in between the trips. The tour itself was really exciting! Tirtta Empul is a very special temple, where you can do the purification process yourself, if you wish! The rice terraces look amazing and Made well explained the entire process of growing and cultivating rice in Bali. The Bali Swing is a unique experience, even if you don’t go there for Instagram pictures. There are lots of different swings that you can enjoy. Finally, the Monkey Forest is always a great experience. This was our second time there, but we still enjoyed walking among the monkeys and in the beautiful rain forest. This is a must-have day trip, even if you have only 1 day to spend around Ubud. And do it definitely with Made!

Nice introduction to Ubud and Balinese culture

Such a nice way to get introduced to Ubud and the Balinese culture. The travel guide makes all the difference. Our guide Leo was such a sweetheart! Very youthful and bubbly. He was punctual. Provided an itinerary at the start but was very flexible with it. Happily answered my never ending questions about the Balinese culture and even share parts of it with us. Thanks for the drink and food Leo 😊. He was very knowledgeable about each place we visited which made the experience that more enjoyable. He happily took our photos/videos. We enjoyed his company so much we booked him again for our trip to Seminyak. We highly recommend him when in Bali - apparently no location is too far for him. We’ll be seeing him again for sure.

A nice adventure with a nice guide

The Guide Maddi was absolutely professional and he knows a lot about the topics and because of his good English it was a very nice trip. The car has a great comfort and trough the whole day me and my father has a good feeling. Maddi is very kind, funny and intelligent so your adventure with him can only get absolutely cool.

I booked a trip with Bali Local Host and traveled around Bali with Made It was such a lovely tour He was very kind , cooperative , friendly , honest with a very good English I learnt alot from him about the people , culture and history of Bali We visited so much places in one day in Ubud And the other day he arranged another places to visit for instgram photos and we went with his cousin he was very decent , funny and helpfull The car was very clean ,big , with a very good air condition I really recommend this company

Excelent tour

After all this time I settled in Bali I finally booked a trip with Bali Local Host and traveled around Ubud. Our trip was very fun because our guide is very good and knows everything about bali especially Ubud. We visited the rice fields, monkey forest and beautiful hindu temple. Day trip with Wayan

Brought my mum to Bali for her first time and booked a day trip with Wayan. He took us to visit an art cooperative, coffee plantation, rice fields, Kintamani and Tirta Empul. Sehr schöne Tour

Wir haben mit Wayan eine Tour durch die Reisterassen gemacht mit anschließendem Erlebnis auf der Swing. Danach waren wir im Tirta Empule Temple und haben das Holy Water Ritual vorzogen, welches sehr beeindruckend war. Danach gab es noch einen Ausflug zu einer Plantage wo wir den Luwak Kaffee probierten. Wayan ist ein Super Guide und bringt einem die Geschichte von Bali immer wieder ein Stückchen näher.

Très belle balade

Balade d environ 1h30 très sympa ombragée. Faire attention aux singes attirés par les objets que vous avez entre les mains . Visite en juin avec présence de beaucoup de petits . Possibilité de se reposer sur des bancs. Possibilité de prendre des photos avec des singes : les surveillants les nourrissent et vous prenne en photo . Visite en fin de journée pas trop de monde . Ils proposent un pack a 10 000 RP pour nourrir les poissons , inutile il y a quelques poissons seulement a l entree et après plus rien .
