This is a must do if you want to explore outside of Sydney and see so much of what this region has to offer! Steve truly planned the perfect excursion. You’ll get to see parts of Australia that no other tour takes you to. The animals were adorable, the views are spectacular, the food is delicious, and the wine was incredible! I cannot recommend this excursion enough!

Best of Sydney

Fabulous tour with variety of experiences.

Loved feeding and petting the koalas, wallabys and kangaroos. The waterfalls were amazing, especially due to recent rains, and the wine tasting was a great treat. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and happy to share many tidbits of interesting information. I highly recommend this tour!

A MUST for Sydney Vacations

This is a must when in Sydney! Steve was THE MAN! Gave us a great experience of Southern Australia and probably would not have ventured to these areas if not for the tour! The zoo was a great way to kick it off and the wine tasting was the best way to end it!!! Am recommending to anyone who comes to Australia!!

Loved this small group adventure!

I easily connected with the small group of 11 for this day trip, enjoyed the small van we took, and made friends who took pictures of each other. The private viewing of koalas was incredible, and the guide was willing to individually photograph each of us with the two koalas in a low tree we could reach. We were given packets of grass to feed the kangaroos and wallabies, toured the rest of the zoo-like adventure park, then left for more fun. We stopped several times along the ocean coast for pics then lunch at a swimming spot before traveling inland. The waterfall we saw was small compared to others in North America and the Caribbean, as we learned that Australia is the driest continent in the world, and low moisture equals small waterfalls. Finally, we ended at a winery for a wine-tasting flight each and charcuterie boards. A non-drinker was well taken care of as well. When we thought the tour was complete, our guide spotted a field full of probably 40 wild kangaroos on the way back to the hotel. It was a wonderful day, and I'm so glad I chose this tour!

Fun with koala & kangaroo

We loved seeing the animals in simbio wildlife park, especially the koalas and kangaroos. Great first stop for the day. Steven was very kind and full of all kind of information he shared along the way. We stopped at stanwell park for a beautiful view of the Oceanside and watched parasailed glide through the air while Steve shared information about the area. The stop at Fitzroy waterfall was beautiful. Centennial winery was nice too. Enjoyed the variety of wines we got to taste. It’s a long day but well worth it.

Amazing!!

This tour was amazing! A definite must-do. Awesome value for the price. The wildlife experience was really great, and now I have pictures with a koala! Lunch was tasty with a phenomenal view. The guides were really knowledgeable and friendly and of course the wine was delicious!

Steve was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond we had a spectacular day!!! It was a day we will always remember!!!

A great way to get out of the city

Overall an excellent full day (almost 12 hrs) outing. Steve (our tour guide) provided the perfect balance of useful information while remaining engaging. This tour was a great way to get out of the city and see the local wildlife and national parks. You never felt rushed, Steve worked in time stopping to visit those unscripted moments like watching cliff jumpers (with parachutes) and wild kangaroos. I highly recommend.

Everything you didn’t see in the city!

Can’t recommend enough- we had the best day and got a bunch of everything. Great to get outside the city and see animals, beaches, waterfalls and have some wine! Wonderful guide gave lots of great info too.

Book it! You won’t regret it!

The whole experience was carefully curated. I didn’t feel rushed and we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy at each stop. Lunch was also quite delicious and the spot was beautiful! The tour guides were exceptional! Very charismatic, friendly, and full of great info. Even though we had a bit of rain for part of our tour, we didn’t miss a beat. And the guides came prepared with some spare umbrellas and sweaters. *I had missed the departure time the day before and the company was able to move me to the next day tour. Now, I’m sure this was possible due to spots being open. Either way, I greatly appreciated that. Also, fair warning, the first leg of the drive is full of winding roads. If you are susceptible to motion sickness, I suggest taking something before hand.

An amazing taste of the Sydney coast

This was an absolutely amazing trip which really has something for everyone. I booked it for my daughter’s 20th birthday and it really didn’t disappoint. Steve, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and made the day fun and exciting. From cuddling koalas and kangaroos, to lunch on a beautiful beach, walking to spectacular waterfalls and then wine tasting-the trip has it all. It is honestly the best day trip I have ever been on and I would thoroughly recommend this to everyone.

Amazing Tour

We had a fantastic day with Steve, he was very charismatic and planned an amazing tour for us. I appreciated how knowledgeable he was about the area and local wildlife and he always had some great stories which also contributed to our great day. Could not recommend it enough! We were extremely close to the koalas and the kangaroos and getting to the wildlife park before it opened to the public made our experience exponentially better! The wine and cheese tasting at the most beautiful winery was a perfect end to the day.

Lovely full day with lots of beauty and history

Rohan was an excellent tour guide. Knowledgeable, prompt, and organized. Loved the lookout at bald Hill and the scenic Highway. Seeing koalas up close and feeding the Kangaroos was pretty amazing. The walk up to view Fitzroy Falls was lovely and the drive to Centennial Winery by way of Macquarie pass and Robertson was Spectacular. Be prepared for a long day

Wonderful day south of Sydney

We spent a wonderful day with Rohan and 7 other guests. Rohan was informative and engaging and the tour was very well organized. We loved interacting with koalas, wallaby’s and kangaroos. We selected our lunch choice earlier so when we arrived at the lovely seaside cafe we didn’t wait. Scenery was spectacular. We would highly recommend this tour. Good value for the money.

A great sampling of South Sydney

WWW excursion was well planned and great.

The wildlife at Symbio was great, early entry assured we had a long time with the koala's and wallaby's and the facility was well kept, with a knowledgable staff. All the excursions aspects were well planned and great. Our driver (the other Steve) was a wealth of information with humorous comments. Loved it all.

The host “other Steve “ was very informative and entertaining. Scenery was brilliant and the vineyard was beautiful. I’d say best part was the wildlife reserve. We arrived before it opened so we had the place to ourselves.

Incredible Tour

This was the best tour by far I have been on. Steve was so informative but laid back. It was so nice to be on a small tour where it didn’t feel like you were being rushed the whole time. Lots of local insight. 10/10 would recommend

What a great day

What an amazing day! The zoo visit with the koalas and kangaroos was unbelievable. The visit to the national park was breathtaking. Our visit to vineyard was superb. Our tour guide Steve(the other one) was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. This excursion was worth every penny. Totally excellent. Would do this trip again in a heartbeat. Absolutely worth it.

Going to the wildlife area and being able to feed and pet the kangaroos and pet the koala was amazing then the waterfalls was spectacular. We had the best guide he was very knowledgeable about Sydney and just an all around great guy.

One of our favorite tours!

This was a fantastic tour that really had a lot of thought when put together. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. We would consider this a must do especially if your time in Australia is short

WE AGREE, ONE OF THE BEST TOURS EVER!

We have done many small group tours when we travel but few can compare with our days adventure frim Sydney. From the van we went in, to our tour guide, Steve, to the places we visited, everything was perfect. We kind of felt special when we showed up at Symbio Wildlife Park before they opened to the public. With just the 10 people in our group we walked right into the Koala enclosure to pet the Koalas, take photos and just enjoy the experience without crowds. Just that would have made our day and the rest of the day was just as good. For us, it probably will be a once in a lifetime experience and well worth the cost.

Definitely book this tour. Steve was the BEST guide, funny, knowledgeable and fun. It’s a great way to get out of the city for the day to see things you probably wouldn’t even consider. Great that it’s a small group, super relaxing and enjoyable. Loved it all, and definitely recommend.

Great day with a mixture...

Great day with a mixture of animals, nature, and wine. Car rides were well broken up with walking. Your guide, Rohan, was fantastic. Millie the wombat was the highlight.

Amazing tour

Karien our tour guide was fantastic! She was full of information and took us on this wonderful tour. Our tour took us along, botany Bay, through Royal, national Park, and many other scenic views. The koala and kangaroo encounter was amazing! Our lunch stop at a beach side café was beautiful. The food was delicious. The beach and water were gorgeous. We had a short hike to view Fitzroy waterfall. That was spectacular. I was very pleased I listened to other reviews and picked this tour. You get to see a great deal in one day and this is an excellent way to see Sydney when you are only there for a few days.

Worth every penny

Petting the koala and feeding the kangaroos was amazing! Seeing all of the other animals was also great. The lunch was delicious. The views on the hike in the bush were stunning. The wine tasting was also very nice. Rohan was knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining, and accommodating. I could not recommend this more. Worth every penny.

Wildlife, Waterfalls, Wine … Just WOW!

If you take one excursion in the Sydney area, pick this one! While in Australia, I visited 3 wildlife parks. This one was the best. Got up close with koalas, wallabies & kangaroos. We had a delightful lunch at Bulli Beach. Then off to Morton National Park for an easy hike to Fitzroy Falls. Finally we had a wine tasting experience at a lovely winery. Our driver/guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about everything that we were seeing. I highly recommend this tour!

Best tour I have ever been on.

Our tour guide Karien was amazing! She was quite knowledgeable, friendly and had a perfect personality for being a tour guide. The order of stops was on point. Each location was the correct amount of time. Especially the koalas and kangaroos. That experience was the best! Even though we had some light rain Karien was prepared with umbrellas for everyone. For our beach café stop the sun finally came out, which made for an excellent lunch and walk on the beach. The water was beautiful. Onward to Fitzroy waterfall. A short hike to the viewing points with educational talk in regard to the foliage and possible wildlife sightings was great. The final stop at the Vineyard was lovely as well. This tour is definitely worth the cost. You get to see a variety in just a days time. I highly recommend this tour if you are here in Sydney for a limited amount of days.

Had a fantastic day with our guide Steve traveling the beautiful coastline of Sydney visiting beautiful forests and an amazing wildlife sanctuary where we were able to be up close and feed the Kowalas and kangaroos then having a fantastic lunch on the beach and ending our day with a delicious wine tasting. Steve personalizes the entire day with his knowledge and extras that we will always remember.

Best day trip ever

This excursion made excellent use of every minute of our valuable time. The visit with the koalas was better than I could have dreamt. We weren't rushed at any point during the day. Steve was very attentive to the group's needs and provided wonderful commentary. Our lunch break was the perfect amount of time to eat the delicious food and soak up the gorgeous area. I highly recommend this tour and encourage everyone to take it when visiting Sydney.

A great day!

It was a great day! We loved getting to interact with two young koalas, then spent time heading down the coast before heading to the blue mountains. The waterfall and walk we did there was okay, though the waterfall there is very small in comparison to any other waterfalls I’ve seen elsewhere. As the guide pointed out, Australia is the driest inhabited continent in the world. The wine tasting at the end was the perfect end to the day.
