Fab trip

Loved the Zoo, got the Bus from the wharf to the top entrance and made our way down via the exhibits. The Ferrie guys were very helpful and knowledgeable, even told us about a nice beach to visit. Found the timetable a little difficult to follow when hopping but all in all very good value for money.

Value for money and great customer service

Whilst holidaying for a birthday weekend .....my partner and I couldn't fault the amazing and friendly service staff provided throughout our stay ....our 48 hr hopper pass and free entry into Taronga zoo gave us access to endless trips through the harbour night and day ..I highly recommend using Fantasea cruises ..5 stars ......

Convenient way to get around city. Crew was also accommodating. Boat was clean and comfortable. One of the best tour package I had since years

Great way to see Sydney . Bought the 48 hours and travelled all over after seeing the zoo . Manly beach was amazing

World-Class Zoo!

The Taronga Zoo was outstanding! We saw lots of animals and the zoo is laid out so that there are lots of trees to provide shade. We continued our trip by taking the ferry to Manly, which had lots of shops and nice places for lunch.

Goof for a day out

Very good, although picked Easter weekend so zoo and ferry was heaving so couldn't get too see many if the animals due to crowds. Also came in through lower zoo entrance and did not receive a map.if the zoo.

Good communication

Good communication and very helpful staff highly recommend the app is good and easy to use no hassle when show the ticket to staff in attractions

Bad start great middle even worse ending

Zoo is fantastic. Fantasea are very unreliable with ferry times and actually cancelled a ferry without any notice to customers.

The Taronga Zoo is a MUST see.

The zoo was terrific and certainly unique in location and set up. BEAUTIFUL views of the Sydney Harbour. A vast collection of animals. One downside is that the "hopper" version of the cruise is pretty useless in combination with the zoo, as it is certainly a 5 hour visit at the zoo. So no time to island hop. Better to purchase a direct ferry ride to and from the zoo to Circular Key.

Excellent experience

Absolutely loved this zoo. Natural habitats and easy to navigate. All volunteers were outstanding. Highly recommend!

Fun Day!

Hop on Hop off Ferry was a great way to get out in Sydney Harbour! Taronga Zoo is very nice.... we enjoyed the koala! We also enjoyed stopping at Manly for some beach time and coffee.

Don’t use Fantasea

To start, the Zoo was pretty cool.The agent for Fantasea neglected to get our email which is the only way to get the pass to enter the zoo.The zoo agent had to call customer service for us to enter.The agent never explained the ferry schedule to us so we waited over an hour to then be told the ferry was at capacity, we’d have to wait another hour! I do not recommend Fantasea!

Hop on ferry

Quick ride to the zoo. Substantial savings booking through viator. Ride back to harbor was long, but enjoyed watching the sailboat race around the harbor.

Covered a lot in a one-day tour.

Camille's energy, warmth, knowledge, and humor made this long trip very enjoyable and entertaining. As for the trip's level of difficulty, it really should have been rated Moderate (Level 3), as there were several very long uphill hikes and more than 50 steps in sone areas.

Zoo

I wish I had known how hilly it was. Just too much for our age. We would not do it again. Ont the other hand we enjoyed the seal show, and the bird show.

Worth the visit!

The zoo was a great experience! We were given the chance to see Australia animals up-close and personal.

This was a great experience. The combo pass was great and the location to pick up the tickets was easy to find. Staff there and on the boats were great. The Taronga Zoo was one of the prettiest we’ve ever seen. The views across the harbor were amazing. Highly recommend this tour!

The views and easy accessibility from train stations. Thanks for a great experience the zoo was outstanding and the ferry ride was great .

Great Value Day

In the harbour views are always amazing and the mix of animals in the zoo was great including the koala experience. The Fantsea boat was spacious and very comfortable. Only slight negative is needing more round trips in the day to Manly and Watsons Bay in the schedule.

Had a nice time

The zoo is undergoing a lot of new building construction. Go early or late to avoid the sleeping animals. More likely to be active early or late. Be sure to walk through the aviaries....a great way to see up-close the native birds. There are stairs but nearly always a ramp or an elevator for those who need or want it.

Highly recommend Fantasea Cruises

After looking at a few different options, Fantasea cruises was by far the best. VIP experience from the moment we boarded. The staff are so friendly & welcoming. The upper level is open, giving you the best experience when cruising the harbour. Don’t look anywhere else, just book with them and you won’t be disappointed.

Best. ZOO. ever.

AMAZING! We had a reptile tour with Bonnie and then we explored on our own. Such a massive place, where the enclosures looked to be designed for the animals comfort, as opposed to the entertainment of the visitors. Master 10 was blown away by the amazing Tiger enclosures in particular.

Bad

Had waited for ferry for 1 1/2 hours then we were told it had broken down then got another Ferry that could only pick us up at 4 pm With all that and expence then to pay for an earlier ferry as the kids were over it

Wet day!!

It rained the afternoon we were there so did not see much and animals were sheltering as well. It means another visit next time.

Fantastic Zoo

This is the way to see the zoo! It was very easy to hope on the ferry and then head across the bay. There was a quick history of the bay on the trip over, which was nice. The zoo was really well done. The exhibits were well staged and the animals seemed happy and healthy. I spent the entire day there!

The Sky Safari was...

The Sky Safari was included in the ticket price but is no longer in operation. As the zoo is very large with so much to see, one could easily spend a whole day there which leaves little if any time to hop on/off the boat at different locations. Crew was excellent!

Great way to visit Zoo

Great way to see the sights of Sydney via the Harbour and also get to the Zoo. Highly recommend! The captain provides commentary which also provides interesting facts.
