You must do this tour! Helen is awesome. I was picked up on time and Helen was so knowledgeable and friendly. We were a small group only three of us so it felt like a private tour. Helen went above and beyond to explain all the major hilights of Sydney. I am so lucky Helen was my tour guide. Thank You sooooooooo much!

Sydney neighborhoods Food Tour

Helen was a fantastic guide. It ended up just being my wife and myself…..so she was very flexible on the food tour. We had a couple of food stops in various neighborhoods, a Gin distillery, and ended at a wine tasting with a charcuterie board. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend their food tour for a unique experience!

Laughing around Sydney

Anilene(?) Was great! Lots of knowledge about everything Sydney. Very flexible to our requests and very fun. A great way to spend 4 hours touring the environs around town. Very entertaining and Iinteresting at the same time. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide was excellent, she’s very thorough and knowledgeable of the history behind Sydney. We enjoyed the city and the areas she took us to which we will not able to see if we ride the Hop on Hop off.

It was a great tour. We got to put our feet in the sand at Bondi Beach, take photos of the skyline, sit in Mrs Mcquires chair.

Today my husband I had the pleasure of having Jeff as our tour guide. We traveled from California and spent 3 days in Sydney ahead of a cruise. I booked this tour based on reading reviews. Jeff really knew his history and gave us a great tour full of history that we both found interesting. I highly recommend the Story of Sydney Tour!

Ben was a great tour guide! Saw a lot and had great tour. Small group very nice and van was great. February weather was hot and humid. Enjoyed Ben’s commentary. We had been on a hop on bus the day before. Enjoyed this tour much more.

Ben was a great guide. Born and raised in Sydney and an excellent communicator, he kept us interested and entertained the entire 4 hours. Fellow guests who liked talking more than listening was the only drawback.

Fantastic tour

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Guide Ellen and driver Tim navigated is to all the sites in Sydney, weaving in the history, buildings, and characters that were there at the city’s start. We were able to walk about in a few places and take photos. Time enough at Bondi Beach to grab a quick beer. They were very flexible about drop off and pickup points as well. Highly recommend!

First Tour of Sydney you should take!!

We had Ben as the travel director. In every area of the tour we visited he provided us with it's historical and present day history. He spoke clear with allowing time for many questions! I would recommend this tour to anyone that wanted to see Sydney "in a nutshell" and decide in future days of their stay in Sydney where to visit! This should be your first tour to take!

Helen is an awesome tour guide! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the city and its history and was wonderful to listen to and learn from. Helen kept our 13 year old daughters attention and she loved every minute of the tour. This tour is a must to gain a better perspective and love of Sydney, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

One of the best ways to see the city

The Story of Sidney Tour by Ultimate Sydney was an amazing way to learn the history of Sydney and see some amazing sights. Helen was the best tour guide and took us from the Rocks to the harbor to Bondi Beach the tour was well worth the time. Helen took the time to explain how the city was founded and built up, taking us to some of the key area that spurned growth and made Sydney into what is is today. I reccomend this tour for anyone looking for a good overview of the history of Sydney and want some really great photos and memories.

I felt the tour covered all of downtown Sydney and its neighboring suburbs in the allotted time. The guide asked if there were specific areas we would like covered. The guide was very knowledgeable.

Fascinating backstory to a fascinating city. Helen was a wonderful guide bringing her International travel experience to the tour, which enhanced her Sydneysider perspective of her hometown. Sydney harbor and its environs is an iconic venue brought to light in this worthwhile excursion.

The tour takes you around the essential spots of Sydney. We got to see the city, the beaches and the suburbs. Great to book at the start of your trip. Great day

Our guide Helen was excellent! Very knowledgeable and saw so many areas of Sydney that we wouldn't have been able to see or even known about seeing on our own! My only small complaint is I wish we'd have had more stops to get photo opportunities as it's hard to get pictures from a moving van but I understand there's not always places to pull off for that to happen.

Five stars - a must do

We had a fantastic time with Helen. Very knowledgeable about early Sydney history. Tour followed development of the city stopping for some spectacular views. Great way to get an overview of the Sydney and understand its evolution. Has left us wanting to come back. Very accommodating guide. Even stopped for a Tiger Pie at Harry's Cafe De Wheels. Managed to catch some whales breaching at the Gap as well. Highly recommend to all including locals (for whom they have a deal when bringing tourists along). We will be back for another tour with Helen and for some more history.

Nice introduction to Sydney

This was a great way to learn about the history of Sydney and see many of the sites! We lucked out on a beautiful sunny day. The tour included a nice mix of natural and man made sites. Our guide Helen was very knowledgeable and offered many helpful suggestions!

We highly recommend the Story of Sydney tour. Our guide Helen was delightful and very engaging. We had a (small) group on our 3.5 hour driving and short walk tour of Sydney. Great tour with great guides!

Great way to see Sydney

We ended up with a private tour with Helen. It was a great way to see the city and the highlights in a 1/2 day. Helen gave us a great tour, lots of tips and ideas of what do in our free time and lots of tips on restaurants.

Helen was fabulous her knowledge was amazing. The van was comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Small enough to stop for pictures anywhere. We went to the Rocks and then through a lot of the neighborhoods. So much to see and do. I really recommend this tour
