I thought Paul was exceptional. He was very safe in his driving and detailed in his explanations of the city and its rich history.

Sydney half day morning tour

Paul was very helpful and the tour was very informative and very organized. Really made an effort to make sure that we all had a great experience.

Better during the warmer season

It was ok not really my thing, but I'm sure other people will enjoy. There were some beautiful views, and if you go when it's summer, I'm sure you'll enjoy the beach.

Great start to seeing Sydney

Nigel was the best driver and guide. thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Weather was great! Sites were fantastic!

Good Quick Tour

Ian was a great guide, he had us laughing the whole time. Very knowledgeable about the history of Australia and the city itself. This is, like other tours I've booked through this site, a "hop-on, hop-off" tour, as most is done while driving along the streets, and when we did stop, it was just to hop off briefly for photos and to look around. The stop at Bondi Beach was a bit longer. I liked it because it was quick, pretty thorough, and it gave me an idea of the layout of the city (I'd just arrived) and what I wanted to go back and see on my own, to spend time at my leisure (and what I'd seen enough of after the tour). I definitely saw stuff and learned stuff that I wouldn't have on my own. Good tour, and thanks to Ian for being a really great guide!

Great tour if you’ve already seen Sydney, but very rushed if your first time.

Ian was very knowledgeable about Sydney and Australia, as a native to the country and a tour guide for several years. Unfortunately, 90% of the tour was seated on a tour van with only a few opportunities to get out on foot and take in the views. Anytime we did stop, it was literally less than 3 minutes (and that’s generous for some stops) to take a quick (I mean quick!!!) photo and hop back on the van. We didn’t even get to stop at rose bay, which was supposed to be included in the itinerary for 15 min. Instead, Ian asked if anyone wanted to use the toilet and when we said no he carried on driving… we didn’t realize that meant we chose to skip a stop. The sites were gorgeous nonetheless, but if you haven’t already explored Sydney on your own by foot (like we had the day before) you will feel gravely underwhelmed and rushed. Luckily because we had walked and seen most of the sites prior to the tour, we were able to appreciate the info he shared and the quick drive bys — however, if this is your first time seeing Sydney, consider self exploration to these places as they are extremely walkable for the most part (outside of bondi beach and the entry to the harbor) With that said, we enjoyed ourselves and had a nice time. It should also be noted that the tour says admission/entry included to Mrs Maqs chair but that was a free site that anyone could get to by foot if near the harbor. That was a bit strange.

Great afternoon in Sydney!

George was an excellent tour guide! We arrived in Sydney after a 15 hour flight and thought this would be a great tour before checking into our hotel. We were not disappointed. We have a great understanding of Sydney, its history and the layout. The trip to Bondi beach was a great way to end the afternoon! George shared his appreciation of the nature and wildlife unique to Australia and we even got to see a wombat that was sleeping in a tree. What a great way to spend our first day in Australia!

Best guide ever

Matt the guide was great- his knowledge and enthusiasm were demonstrated throughout the whole tour. He went the extra mile, making sure each and every participant was happy and safe.

Not worth it

I was really disappointed. The guide was nice and so was the van but the tour was terrible. We drove to points in the itinerary and were very rushed when we were given the opportunity to exit the van. In most cases you had to take a picture of the point we were discussing while the van was moving quickly. It was basically a $100 Uber trip per person to spend 30 minutes at Bondi. It felt like a scam unfortunately. I can usually make the most of things or look for the good but wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone. After we left the van we did a free walking tour on our phone. I got ten times more out that than this tour.

Best introduction to Sydney

Great start to our visit to Sydney

Great tour. I can’t believe we were able to see so much in such a short amount of time. Even though it was raining on and off, our guide, Nigel, was able to take advantage of dry moments to stop and share his extensive knowledge. We learned so much about the area that we could never have discovered on our own. He was a shining spot in an otherwise dreary day.

Nice Tour of Sydney

This was a nice overall tour of Sydney. Graham did a great job with the tour info. The van was comfortable and I would recommend doing the tour. It was a big plus to be picked up at our hotel.

Waste of Money

While the tour covered all of the major parts of Sydney, our tour guide Nigel made the experience less enjoyable. Nigel was very knowledgeable about the history but his delivery made it hard to comprehend what he was saying. His speech is also VERY monotone which caused people to loose interest quick. No one on the tour was engaged and people were struggling to stay awake! I would save your money or request another tour guide!

Great Tour

Rain, rain, go away! Even though we had experienced rain, even downpours, ever since arrining in Sydney, our guide/driver was terrific. His tour and narrative made us decide to visit Sydney again in tge future! And in the end he offered to drop each of us whereever we wanted (shopping, tour sites, pier, or hotel). It was a great experience even though a bit wet.

Perfect birthday

The tour was great! We saw beautiful places and were able to take lots of pictures. The best part was that the tour operator was able to save the day for the passengers that came off Holland America Noordam that couldn't dock as originally advertised because of bad weather and the port being closed. He shuffled some tour busses around, came to pick us up at port, then we did our tour, and then got dropped off at our respective hotels! Kudos to you! You made 9 people very happy, especially the birthday girl😊

Time well-spent

Graham is a long time Sydney resident who clearly loves his city. He’s good driver and a patient tour guide who definitely gave us a great variety of scenic venues. The van was comfortable and easy to access on/off for those picture-worthy breaks. Great value for the price!

Best tour of our trip!!

How knowledgeable the guide was and how helpful he was getting me off and on the van. I have to walk with a cane. Favorite was the stop at the entrance to the Sydney harbor.

A great way to see the city, especially, for a newcomer

Really enjoyed the drive around the city. Was great to see all of the highlights. Bondi Beach was also very memorable. Driver was fun and quite nowledgable.

Compact and Informative

This is an excellent tour that covers many of Sydney's highlights in a compact 4hrs. I would highly recommend for the business traveler with limited time.

A great tour, but a little rushed. We saw several very interesting sights, but it was hard to understand the commentary and understand relative importance.

Little disappointed...in your blurp, it was mentioned that the tour would do a drive-thru of Chinatown. We were close, but did not drive thru.... Kudos doe hotel pickup & drop off

No help in tough situation

All was fine until I tested positive for Covid 22 hours before the scheduled tour. I immediately notified AEA Luxury Tours that even though I wasn't horribly sick, my wife and I shouldn't go on the small bus tour to protect the health of others. AEA Luxury Tours was not helpful at all and borderline rude - their response was basically "tough luck" no refund. Went on to whine to me about how they are a family business blah, blah, blah... I was just trying to do the right thing but they wanted no part in helping us out. Other tour companies we had scheduled the following two days were much, much more understanding and helpful. I guess this company is ok if you have no problems but...

Great way to get a taste of Sydney

Our tour guide Matt executed a wonderful "Half-day small group sightseeing tour of Sydney". We saw the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Bondi Beach. Matt also provided us with great recommendations as we explored the districts in The Rocks, Paddington, and Kings Cross.

Think twice

The tour guide was not good. He didn't clean the used water bottles from the prior tour group, nor did he offer our group any water, which per description should have been included. He would talk about sites without pointing them out to us. He was frazzled because of the weather, but even after it stopped raining he didn't improve.
