In depth behind the scenes tour was excellent. Tour guide explained the history of SCG and showed us the ground and dressing rooms. Felt nostalgic after the visit as I have been watching the matches from SCG since my childhood. Don’t miss it when you visit Sydney.

A fabulous behind the scenes tour of the SCG

Stuart was outstanding with his knowledge and the way he shared it with us. It was great to see so much Australian cricket history in one place. My grandson loved the day and was so excited to tell his parents almost as much as Stuart told us. The volunteers in the museum/shop were very helpful. I’d really recommend this tour for any enthusiasts, regardless of age.

Our wonderful lady guide was exceptional. Her knowledge was extraordinary. The overseas people on the tour were overjoyed with the experience and time she gave to us all.

A fun and informative tour of an iconic stadium

Very knowledgeable tour guide who knew the place and the sport of cricket inside out. Helped me to see an odd looking stadium in a new light with its blend of modernity with heritage listed buildings. Glad I did it.

What a place, what a tour!

We had a fantastic time with our guide Kaz. She kept the tour funny and interesting, even for a non-cricketing fan (my Wife). This was more than just about the ground; to venture into the back rooms and the normally off-limit bars (members' rooms) was more than expected. If you want to experience a special sporting venue this tour is a must. Drew

Kazz was very knowledgeable and witty. She gave a nice tour of SCG and allowed us plenty of time to click pics. The stadium looked marvellous. The pricing of the tour was also super affordable.

Excellent tour, I learnt a lot of history. The guide Warwick was amazing. I love how the ground kept its original pavilion and built around the stadium.

Very good tour of the SCG. Vanessa the guide was very knowledgeable and patient with some of the group. Get alot for your money. Main focus is on cricket but some of the history is very in depth. Thoroughly recommend

Excellent tour, would visit again

Tour guide Kaz was very good, focussing on the main parts any cricket fan would love to view such as the dressing rooms, honours boards etc. She also stopped at each area to allow us to take photos, and helped to take photos too. She was very engaging and informative throughout the tour

The tour was thoroughly enjoyable. The tour guide, Peter, was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He went into great depth of knowledge and fun facts and ensured all guests enjoyed the tour.

Extremely informative and a tour laden with nostalgia for a cricket buff family such as us! Kazz (Karyn Johnson) was our guide and had previous nuggets of trivia to share which left the entire group entertained! Would highly recommend her as a guide and the tour in general. Amazing even if you are not a cricket fan

We had the 90 minute guided tour. Bought the tickets on the door. Kazz is a brilliant tour guide. The history and all the details made it all worthwhile. I'm not a cricket fan but still thoroughly enjoyed it. Would absolutely recommend.

Absolutely amazing walking down the history lanes where you can really feel historical knocks of Sachin, Laxman, et all. The tour guide also made a difference as he was interested in explaining and answering all questions.

Was a great informative tour. The guide was excellent and engaging. He knew his information well. I’m not a cricket fan but thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Would recommend.

Kiwi soaking uo iconic Aussie sporting history

Great to soak up some historic moments of Aussies national game at such an iconic venue. Very well run with a great knowledgabke host who grew up watching many of the events unfold himself

Guide was fantastic. Overall SCG is excellent. Being a Cricketer, great opportunity to visit player’s room and Members Pavilion. Sir Don Bradman was exceptional to this Cricketing world.

SCG Tour: A Walk to Remember

Being a cricket buff a visit to Sydney would have been incomplete without a visit to the Sydney Cricket Ground. The guided tour was very enriching with the added information,figures,data and anecdotes provided by the guide Mr.Rod . Loved the way Mr.Rod shared the stories about cricketers their superstitions in a passionate manner. The walk of honour,the dressing room, the commentary box and finally the walk on the SCG was a feeling that would be a fond memory to stay.

Such an amazing tour of the SCG I enjoyed it as I am a huge cricket fan and a huge Sydney Swans fan. We started our tour with our tour guide Stuart taking us to the SCG museum then we walked to the footy Away teams rooms press conference room & the Richie Benaud media centre up in the Bradman stand. Then we got to go onto the ground to take some photos, after we went into the historic members stand we went into away teams' rooms and Aussies' rooms then through the member's bar then finished our tour back in the museum. Our tour Guide Stuart had Great knowledge telling us all of the history and stories of the SCG. I highly recommend this tour to any sporting fan will love it. Thanks Stuart for the great tour🙌🏼

Definitely in the first XI

Took this tour with a friend visiting from England and both enjoyed very much. It was quite a comprehensive behind-the-scenes tour, starting in the small SCG museum and including the members' pavilion, the media centre, the teams' changing rooms, the members' bar and dining room. After about 1 and a half hours we finished back at the museum, where if they wished people were allowed to stay on for another gander. Our guide Kaz was excellent, knowledgeable, amusing and inclusive. My favourite section was the change rooms and the extraordinary story that in the old days, the Visitors (usually the English) had two changing rooms and the egalitarian Australians had just the one. No-one ever said that cricket was immune from the demands of the English class system!

The tour was for my cricket obsessed boyfriend. He absolutely loved every second of it. The tour guide was very nice and welcoming to everyone.

SCG on a rainy day

Looking for something to show my interstate visitors on a rainy Sydney day (it was fine the day before and after!!). The SCG tour fit the bill and was very enjoyable. Took us behind the scenes, up to the media rooms and down to the dressing rooms. Our guide, Kaz, was very knowledgeable and friendly. As a local it was something I've always meant to do but hadn't got around to. So now I can tick that off the list.

A must have experience.

This is the best guided tour I have been on. Our amazing tour guide Kaz was so knowledgeable and answered so many questions about the Cricket Ground. Our son had the best time on this tour and learnt so much. I highly recommend taking the time and going on this fantastic experience. So much history at this amazing venue. 10/10!

A wander through Sydney's cricket history

A fabulous walking tour with a fabulous guide. Stuart brought the history surrounding the SCG to life with his excellent knowledge and wonderful stories. My granddaughter just loves her cricket and was in awe of the whole experience today, especially visiting Members' area and the Australian dressing rooms. The SCG is such a beautiful ground, with so much history. I can definitely recommend this tour, even if you're not a cricket fan.

Well conducted and articulated tour of the SCG, well guided by the officer who had a very good knowledge of SCG and it's history, we really enjoyed it and leant many stories and gained knowledge of the beginning of the magnificent ground and the set up etc.

An experience for a fan of cricket

Iconic cricket ground attempting to balance new facilities with the tradions of the game. Knowledgeable guide with lots of stories of historic feats. Access to the changing rooms which seems unchanged since the 1920's Lasted a bit under 2 hours.. Good value.

Where are the cricket fans !!!

Highly recommend. Our guide, Kass was incredible, with a quirky sense of humour and fully armed with insider info, things you’d never know otherwise. Unbelievable that there weren’t more groups lined up for this.

Kaz was super cool with lots of interesting information to share. The SCG is definitely a second cousin to MCG but special for a cricket lover nonetheless. I got lucky with beautiful weather too. Definitely worth a look when in Sydney.
