Helicopter tour that didn’t happen

The operator canceled this tour because there weren’t enough people to make the flight profitable. They gave us the option of upgrading for an additional cost. We opted not to do the tour.

A must do when you’re in Sydney.

An awesome experience. Sydney is beautiful but from the air fantastic. Oscar on the ground staff was really helpful and guided us through each step before boarding. He made sure we were fully prepared. Our pilot Brandon was great giving us a running commentary on the sights as we passed by. There was never any doubt we were in very capable hands all of the time. A really good display of professionalism by both people. A Highly recommended tour.

Birthday celebrations

Great experience, wonderful staff and awesome pilot. If you don’t got a car, a bit tricky to get to the location, a half an hour walk from the domestic part of the Sydney airport , or a taxi is needed. ( easy to get to domestic part by train though)

We had a fantastic experience with Oscar (pilot) and Brandon (ground crew) on 5th August 2023. Professional, polite and friendly. We chose the HD cam footage as an added extra and I highly recommend doing this. The media is high quality. Recommend this company 110%. Thank you for giving us some great memories on our holiday!

Worst helicopter tour WASTE MY MONEY

my parents and I. wanted to have a great experience in helicopter, the helicopter was no private so when I arrived another 2 people was there and the guy said one of you have to be in the middle (no window seat) I said why we are 5 so one in the front and 4 in the back each in the window. He said no sorry is one pilot is learning so 2 pilots today. one of you have to be in the middle (no window) no fair to pay whole price for this seat and also why one of my group and not random? I got dizzy and couldn’t take nice pictures and videos And how this company teach a pilot in a tourist tour Completely disappointed better company next door NO RECOMEND THIS COMPANY

Stunning views!

Wow! Simply amazing tour! Cost less money for a private helicopter tour than to do the bridge climb (where they don’t let you take a camera). Once I did that math, the priority was an easy choice. Blue Sky did not disappoint. The day before our flight, we walked the coastline of Bondi beach down to the light house near Lady Beach prior to our flight. Seeing the cliffs from the edge and then later from the air was awesome.

This is a must do. This company has all the 5 Star reviews for a reason. They are very professional! They make you feel so safe. If you thought Sydney was beautiful on the ground you have to see it from the air. It gives you a while different perspective that you haven't seen before. Just beautiful!

Amazing experience

I booked a flight for a 60th birthday surprise for a friend and Blue Sky Helicopters were so easy to deal with from the booking of the trip to playing along with the surprise on the day. They really made the experience special and very memorable. My friend couldn’t wipe the smile off his face for the rest of the day. The helicopter was amazing and so was the pilot. All of the staff were friendly & helpful. Highly recommend AAA+++

You gotta do it!

We were fortunate enough to find somewhere that was able to accommodate all five of us in the one helicopter and at a very reasonable price. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very cheerful, funny and articulate. Matt and Blue Sky Helicopters made the day something special we will never forget. Thanks guys!

A 'must-do' experience

If you think Sydney is one of the world's most dramatic and beautiful cities at ground level, then seeing it from a helicopter is an experience that can only be described as absolutely stunning. And Blue Sky Helicopters is the perfect company to 'take you there'. I booked a 3pm 'surprise flight' for my girlfriend, so that I could propose to her whilst flying over the harbour bridge (Ha! beat that bridge walkers). She said yes! - so we really were on cloud 9 as we continued our flight around the coast and over Bondi Beach. Weather was perfect, and it was breathtaking seeing from the sky all the places we have visited. Matt was a brilliant pilot, and we felt very safe for the entire duration. The booking process was simple, and the whole pre/post-flight experience was very streamlined. Highly recommend purchasing the video of your flight, which includes external and internal video plus sound. A must-do experience - whether you're a visitor or a local.

Photos don't do justice

My wife and I flew in the morning and were lucky that we had perfect weather and great visability. Our pilot Matt ensured that both sides of the craft had Harbour bridge photo opportunities - if you have never been in a helicopter give it a go, it's very different to a plane. Would definitely recommend and do it again.

Fabulous trip!

Fabulous ride!

Absolutely amazing experience! From start to finish, we were taken care of. We were asked to watch a short safety video before departure and then escorted to the helicopter and strapped in safely. We then took off, piloted by Jason, and thoroughly enjoyed the flight from start to finish. The only downside is that it was over far too quickly! I wanted to stay in their all day! We chose this instead of climbing the bridge and are so glad we did! Thoroughly recommend Blue Sky!

Best view of Sydney from the top

A biiiiiiiggggg THANK YOU for the ride. Was mindblowing from start to finish. Me and my wife took this ride and Blue Sky team made sure we could see the BEST of Sydney and the beaches from the top. Pilot was very nice and was welcoming. He was mindful of the fact that everyone could see from each angle of sitting arrangement. We could take possibly the best shots of the city and will certainly highly recommend team Blue Sky to all my known circles. You guys made our day.

Disappointing experience

Hugely disappointed with the 20min flight over Sydney and the beaches I took with a friend for his birthday. I was super excited to see and take photos of the Sydney Opera House from above, Sydney CBD, beaches and beautiful coastline, however in reality we missed seeing basically all of this. The side of the helicopter we were sat on meant the majority of our view was the outer suburbs, the ocean and industrial shipping containers. Small windows meant we couldn't see well out the other side. The pilot flew in a circle around the city rather than back-tracking, so the whole time we had the worst seats of all the passengers on the flight. When I communicated this complaint to the company afterwards, their response was simply to buy another flight! All in all, a disappointing experience.

Fascinating Sydney under the clouds

The instructions were good and the flight gives you a unique view of Sydney. The pilot told us a lot about the area during the flight. We sat in a large helicopter and had plenty of space. Above all, the flight was very smooth and not bumpy. The 20-minute flight goes by very quickly because you can't stop being amazed.
