Great experience of jet boat ride, not so much fun helicopter flight

The jet boat ride is really fun! We had a blast with captain Toby on our ride, he’s super interesting and knowledgeable! Definitely worth a try! The helicopter flight is just ok, the view is amazing but the pilot didn’t talk much so it’s not so fun in the sky. And we also waited for about 1.5 hours for the flight yet not informed by the staff about the timeline. We’re not in a hurry but just feel it would be better to know.

Bucket List experience

This was an amazing experience! Toby on the jetboat was an absolute hoot. The helicopter ride was incredible and the view of the Gold Coast was spectacular. Highly recommend both. Would have preferred the helicopter first as absolutely soaked from jetboat. So not so glamorous on the helicopter 🤣🤣🤣🚤🚁

The BEST experience

My hubby and I went on the Jet Boat and Helicopter ride ....Hamish on the Jet Boat was AWESOME!! We had the BEST time - it was so much fun. Michael our Chopper pilot too was sensational - can't wait to come back and do it again!!!

Great experience....

This was a fantastic tour. Really enjoyed the jet boat ride, was so much fun and done very well and safe. The helicopter ride was amazing. Was a great way to see the city. Would highly recommend this tour.

Must do!

A must! The jetboat ride was awesome, our driver was very friendly, funny and had good commentary. My 6yo enjoyed it also. Don't style your hair beforehand haha! The helicopter ride was amazing, getting to see surfers paradise from above with all of the canals, a must do when you visit!

Thrilling bundle

AMAZING ! The Jet boat ride was thrilling and so much fun. Our driver was entertaining and made us laugh. Super wild, wet and a little windy! We want to go again! We enjoyed the helicopter ride with spectacular views, and change overs were good. We opted for the long 40 minute walk back to the car along Surfers Paradise beech.

Wonderful Flight with Gold Coast Helicopter Tours - Family experience

We had a wonderful time flying the helicopter on the 2nd October 2023 at 1.30pm with Gold Coast Helicopter Tours from Marina Mirage. My 3 kids and I really enjoyed it. The crew and staff and our pilot were most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Weather was nice. We were lucky to see a big Whale jumping around, thanks to our pilot’s sharp eye pointing it out to all passengers on board. 15 minute flight was truly amazing. Our first time and we are so glad we did it. Thank You.

Highly recommended

Wow, the jetboat was thrilling! High speed twists and turns with the wind in your hair, then into spins and wet spins which will get you a bit wet so take a change of clothes or towel, spray jackets are provided but do take sunglasses, we forgot and the wind and sea spray is intense. The driver commentary was great! Highly recommended! The Heli tour was awesome, nice smooth ride above surfers paradise with commentary, friendly staff and pilot, also highly recommended!

A must do experience

What an amazing experience this was! The lovely team at the Jet Boat were so lovely to deal with and helpful. They coordinated with the helicopter tour to ensure our whole family got to be on the same helicopter. Steve the jet boat driver was the highlight of the trip! Great sense of humour and so confident in the water. Definitely left us all dripping wet by the end of the experience as he promised. I would recommend anyone going to the Gold Coast to do this. We will definitely be back again!

Jet Boat Extreme at Gold Coast

One of the best experiences at Gold Coast. Scotty, you legend. He was super fun and entertaining. The entire team was friendly and helpful. A must try experience at Gold Coast.

Everything as advertised

Easy to find meeting location and swift check in process. Lockers provided for those coming back to the dock and a waterproof bag provided for those being dropped off elsewhere. Staff all very friendly. Safety features and protocols explained well. Driver was humorous and seemed to enjoy his job. Able to see nice views along the canals as the boat follows the speed limit to more open water. A nice thrill to go fast when allowed. Driver would signal to us when he was going to do a spin. The entire boat is going to get soaking wet- they do advise this when booking and it’s very true! A lot of fun, I was worried I would get motion sick but not at all. We had booked the package deal with helicopter flight, so we were dropped off before heading back. So just be aware you do miss some time and views of the boat experience if you book these activities together, but it saves money so it suited us! Will review the helicopter flight separately.

Wow experience

Excellent experience. Must do in Gold Coast. He is well trained and extraordinary entertaining. Unfortunately, my picture is not clear with the GoPro taken by them hence I will visit again soon.

An absolute thrilling wet experience and would totally recommend it. Hamish our driver was brilliant. Helicopter ride was worth it but was a little on the short side.

Good trip

Great trip for good value. Steve was great for the jetboat & had a lot of fun! The helicopter was also great & although 10 minutes doesn't seem like long, its long enough! Only downside was an employee at the helicopter place who was rather rude & sour faced. It wouldn't hurt to crack a smile for customers...

Awesome!! We had Frankie as our driver of the jet boat! He was fantastic!! He talked to us during the ride & warned us when he did the spins. Highly recommend doing this. You will get wet. They supply a coat to wear, so wear it. Take your shoes off as well. They provide water proof bags to put your stuff in. You want regret it. The helicopter flight was awesome to. I highly recommend doing this as well. The 10 minutes up there is all you need. They where very friendly, & had towels ready for us when we arrived, as they knew we would be a little wet. They have lockers there to put your things in before your flight. You can take your phones on the flight. Do this as well!!!! You will not regret it!!!

Best experience

I went yesterday to do the boat xtreme and the helicopter ride for my friends and I birthday and I can say we had such a wonderful day ! All crew was respectful, we left on time , the driver which I can’t remember his name :( but I did it on Sunday 16th of October at 10:15am that guy was amazing ! Always making jokes , always talking to us , showing us / teaching us what was around us . I can say I had such a good experience with you guys . Thanks so much Guys . The drivers of this company are the coolest I’ve ever seen.

A great adrenaline filled, birthday present for teenagers!

I must admit, although my kids really enjoyed this, I didn't think this would be as good as it really was! Jetboat Staff were super helpful and professional. Steve was our driver and was super friendly, knowledgeable, whilst keeping the jokes and laughs coming! The jetboat on it's own was great fun but adding a chopper ride was the icing on the cake! Although the chopper ride was only 10 minutes, you get to see the GC from a whole new perspective and was really impressive. Highly recommend this combo through Jetboat Extreme!

An experience not to be missed

All the staff were super helpful and lovely. Our jetboat ride was super awesome and what I loved about leaving from the Ferny St wharf is the lovely slow tour out the the fast zone!! The helicoper ride was so good, the 10min ride took us all around everywhere we've been staying and it was spectacular from the air.

Surfers jet boating 2022

Visited surfers for a long weekend with my partner and family, we took the jet boat and helicopter package and we’re not disappointed!! Adam was our jet boat pilot for the trip and he was amazing 😁 made the whole experience funny putting the more nervous passengers at ease, the ride was exciting and we all got absolutely soaked thanks to some great driving from Adam!!! The guy knows his stuff 😂 I can’t recommend this place enough I will definitely be coming back in the future amazing experience keep up the good work guys!!!

A must try things to do in Gold Coast

A well planned itinerary starts with fast speed extreme jet Boating then relax and fly up the sky in helicopter for a scenic flight! Perfect match! Must try when you are in Gold Coast !

AWESOME

My two grandchildren said being up so high that all the buildings and cars looked like they were looking at a lego city. They also loved wearing the head set and did not stop talking. They said it was amazing.

Excellent experience, Hayden our jet boat skipper was highly experienced and very skilled performing plenty of stunts on the water, he made sure we all got plenty of water over us 👌 followed by the scenic flight over surfers was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Extreme Jetboating plus Helicopter ride

Fab afternoon, helicopter ride, amazing views of the coast. Jetboating was thrilling...ok, scary as!! Lots of fun and whilst it was exhilerating, knew we were in safe hands. Keegan was an excellent driver and host, friendly and funny. We got a couple of cool pics and a video at the end. Prepare to be wet!

Great family fun

The experience was 10 out of 10. The staff at both are very nice and could not help us enough. The views from the helicopter are amazing and the jet boat was action packed and fun.

Helicopter pilot ruined the experience

Jet Boat Ride was fantastic and was worth it. The driver (Hamish) was fun to have around Helicopter ride itself could have been good but the pilot killed the mood. Would not recommend if you the helicopter ride if you get this pilot.

Book it, it’s worth it!

What an awesome experience! I thought our 9 year old would be a little more afraid but he loved it so much and I think that’s down to our skipper (Krystal) who made him feel at ease and made sure he enjoyed it. There was a you get boy on board too who looked like he was also having a blast. Lots of spins and drifting, with good music and great tour guide. Thankyou for an awesome time, we will definitely be recommending this to our friends and followers on our blog!

Fantastic day oit

The Jet boat experience was fantastic and will definitely be doing it again. Felt very safe and loved getting wet 🤣. The helicopter ride was great and it was my first time. Would recommend but be aware. You get jet boat in surfers then are dropped off by seaworld and have to find your own way back to surfers

Well worth it!

Both rides were a lot of fun. Adam, the jet boat pilot is a laugh and makes you feel at ease. The helicopter ride gave great views of Surfers. Thoroughly enjoyable and definitely worth it. Have a go!

Life One Adventure at a time

My nephew and I spent our shared birthday jetboating and flying in the helicopter. Adam who was the driver of the jetboat was absolutely amazing, he had a fantastic sense of humour, welcomed all and made the experience a blast. The jetboat ride itself was so fun and we all loved it. We did come back a tad wet and with salty hair but the BIGGEST of smiles on our faces. Anthony the helicopter staff member was truly amazing with his warm engaging personality and helpful nature. We had such beautiful views and Spencer our pilot shared his knowledge of the GC with us as we toured around. A must do when you visit the GC. Simply fabulous.
