Amazing day at Bromo & Waterfalls!

The tour was absolutely amazing, one of the best things we have done in South East Asia. We were picked up early at our hotel at 11:30pm and drove to Mt Bromo for the sunset where we got to know our amazing guide Salsa. She was so friendly, super knowledgable, spoke perfect English and made the day so much better. The walk up to the crater was amazing too, but definitely bring shoes you dont care about as they will get dusty and have something to cover your mouth as there was so much ash dust in the air walking up to the crater. Loved going to the Madakaripura Waterfall too after, we were taken by motorbikes to the entrance and had a lovely walk through nature to get to the waterfall which was so amazing. All the transport & meetups were done really well with no delays, we had the best day! Salsa was the best guide we have had in asia for sure, definitely book this tour!

Beautiful sunrise!

We had an amazing time on this tour. We booked it really really late and still Nael and Mr. Sulis aka Doraemon were able to pick us up and give us a great evening/day. It was quite busy at the sunrise point but Nael knew a secret spot with a great view. I have to say that for me this was the most beautiful sunrise I’ve ever seen.

The highlight of our trip in surubaya.

One of the best experiences of my life. Andre from TrippyTrip was such an easy going and friendly guide and who picked us up from our hotel in Surabaya in the morning before setting off to the Madakaripura Waterfall and Mount Bromo for sunset. We drove in jeeps and he took some great pictures of everyone with the sunset. We were even overtime on our way back to the hotel but he and the driver were. I highly recommend this for anyone in the east java or surubaya area since this is will definitely be a highlight of your trip in this region.

Mount Bromo with Trippy Trip

We were picked up by the Trippy Trip around 11pm since our hotel was pretty far from Mount Bromo. The drive was really smooth and fast. No issues at all. We had sufficient toilet stops as well. When we got there, we waited for the jeep. Oh boy, the jeep ride was interesting, many bumps due to the roads but very safe drive. When we reached the sunset point, we had time to chill and warm our bodies up before we walked to see the sunrise. We had hot beverages and some fried banana fritters. We then headed to the sunset point close to sunrise time to take pictures then the jeep sent us to the crater drop off point and we walked up to see the crater. All in all, super memorable experience and we were so happy that we've had Salsa as our tour guide. She really made the entire trip super fun. She's really easy to talk to and she's very generous with her stories about the place, the country and she made us feel super safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. Fabulous tour

My daughter and I just experienced this tour and it was first rate from start to finish. The communication with the tour operator was quick and clear and everything was explained to us. The collection from our hotel was prompt and the car comfortable with AC and water. Our guide Qowim who accompanied us throughout was very knowledgable, engaging and spoke excellent English. Mount Bromo is a fascinating and unique place to visit and should not be missed. You can hire coats there and buy a cool hat for a nominal price. There were frequent toilet stops, as required and a cooked buffet breakfast. We had the car to ourselves so could bring our luggage. Our driver was very professional and safe. Overall a great experience.

Magical experience with a brilliant guide!

We had a great time watching the sun rise at Bromo, with our guide Zidny who took us to a quieter area where we could see the views away from the crowds. Our driver, Fauzi was very talented, smoothly taking us up the challenging roads in the dark. When climbing up Mt Bromo, Zidny was really helpful as well as being very informative and answering all of our questions. It was an amazing day that I will never forget!

Bromo with Trippy Trip

Getting to this magical place in the middle of the night was not easy, yet Fauzi, our driver, made it seem effortless and calm. Zidny, our guide, looked after us throughout the day ensuring we made the most of what Bromo has to offer and to also really experience the amazing atmosphere of the place. Excellent guides

We had a fab time with Zidny and Fauzi. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and really well organised. Zidny sent a message the previous evening saying it's a little windy and to wrap us. He was waiting in the lobby on time and the car was comfortable and clean with a/c and bottled water. Fauzi was a super driver and drove confidently on bendy roads and kept calm. These guys really are the best- for example, on learning we were followed a healthy vegetarian diet they went out of their way to find us fresh fruit and herbal teas. They are engaging and witty guides and kept us engaged throughout a really long day at an amazing place. Thank you so much!

Best tourguide ever

Our tourguide picked us up in Surabaya. The transport was very comfortable an they provided us with water. Later we changed the car for the 4x4 and that was also a good experience. There are many and many cars driving at night for the sunset. Near the sunset we drink some coffee and pisang goreng. The guide showed a very good place to see te sunrise an the Bromo in the morning. The guide was very helpful and never rushed us. Walking to and from the Bromo can take a while because it is getting warm and busy. After the Bromo a very nice place to get some breakfast from a buffet. We really recommend this tour guide. It was a tour that we will never forget. Tanks guys, for the great conversations and the complete arrangment.

A friendly tour guy

Our tour guide for this trip was Andri Caldera and our driver was Sules. They were super friendly. They arranged the itinerary well and explained it carefully. They also helped with taking photos. Sometimes we were able to accommodate longer stays at spots, making the trip quite enjoyable.

Don’t get Bromo FOMO — well worth the money

My partner and I were visiting Surabaya as tourists from Canada. She was really set on doing a Bromo tour and I was honestly a little skeptical; the idea of getting in a stranger’s car and driving up a mountain at 2 in the morning wasn’t exactly my idea of fun. Let me tell you, I was totally wrong on this one. The natural wonders I witnessed on this tour are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, and thanks to TrippyTrip the trip was as easy, interesting, and as comfortable as I could’ve asked for. All the transport and navigation was handled by them, including picking us up from the door of our hotel, driving 2 hours to Bromo National Park, switching us to a jeep when the terrain got rough (the park requires it by regulation), right up to our guide Andri taking us for coffee (included) on our arrival and then finding us the perfect spot on the hillside to witness the gorgeous sunset over Mount Bromo. Andri was a wealth of information on the area and on cultural history, and made what could’ve just been a fun sightseeing trip into a really fascinating and informative introduction to the area and local history/culture. The package also includes a trip by jeep over to mount Bromo itself (an active volcano) where you walk up the side for about 15 minutes before arriving at a giant smoking crater with an incredible view of the surrounding landscape and into what looks like the belly of the earth (there is the option to pay extra to ride on horseback up to the main staircase, we opted for the exercise because we figured we’d want to take pictures on our way up, which we were right about). On the way back we stopped for a brilliant all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet at one of the hotels halfway up the mountain, also included in the package, which broke up the drive back nicely. All in all it is well worth the money, I can’t imagine you could organize this trip yourself for much less than they charge, and it would be a logistical nightmare with all the switching of vehicles and the specific information our guide Andri clearly had on the best routes and locations to stop/eat/hike. This trip is an absolute must if you are in East Java, and TrippyTrip (Andri) made easily could’ve been a complicated mess into an unforgettable experience.

Amazing Bromo trip

Just had 2 days in Surabaya and wanted to have some amazing experience. Call this company and asked - is it possible to go for tour today and they say -Yes! Wow, so fast reaction - I like a lot. My trip started at night with very comfortable car and nice guide Adit, everything was super cool, volcano is amazing, waterfall- one of the best I ever seen. And the special thanks much for coconut after waterfall, it was super cute. Really very recommend trip if u visit Surabaya

We had an amazing trip with Aldi! Firstly, this tour is highly recommended to visit: the sunrise point with volcanos view was incredible and there was a nice experience to hike on Bromo. I didn’t sleep for a day for this overnight trip to Mount Bromo from Surabaya. Although the weather was hazy during sunrise, eventually I could able to see the overall landscape of Mount Bromo on the way back. I was given a chance to hike to the top of this active volcano and had a closer look of the smoke coming out from the huge crater. It was an unforgettable experience for me and I highly recommend you should visit this breathtaking scene if you have chance to travel in Surabaya. Finally, I would like to thank you my driver Ryan for driving me from mid night till to late morning. He is friendly and he can speak very fluent English. I had no communication barrier with him at all.

Amazing experience, thanks to Andri.

We had an amazing time with Andri; he collected us from our hotel bang on time and took us two hours by car to meet a 4x4 which climbed the mountain to a cute wee coffee shack before the viewing point for the most amazing sunrise. He took us to a private spot away from the crowds where we enjoyed the magical sunrise, simply breathtaking. Then we hiked up to the active volcano, followed by a drive back down the mountain, this time in daylight so we saw the local agricultural lands and people. He took us for breakfast at a nice hotel where we stuffed out faces on a mix of local and international food and drinks. We slept on the journey back to the hotel where we were dropped off buzzing from the experience. A very kind, considerate, experienced host who is tuned in well to the needs and feelings of his guests. We had time alone to enjoy the moments together but were always attended to. He was always one step ahead. Can't thank Andri enough for the highlight of our Java/Bali holiday. 100% recommend.

Amazed

We really enjoyed the Mount Bromo, it was a lot of fun and well organised. We really had a nice trip with Aldi. The trip you made for us were just what we wanted and to be able to see such a lot in a short space of time was greatly appreciated. And the agency also are perfect. Had a fantastic tour with Sugi as our guide! He is friendly, knowledgeable and lively even past the midnight hour and into the wee hours of the morning as we made our way to Bromo. 2 day 1 night to Mt Bromo with TrippyTrip

Everything was well arranged and organised. We had a great guide Zidny and driver Bima. Both are so polite and accommodating. Had a great time at My Bromo. Missed the sea of clouds but witnessed the sunrise. The owner of TrippyTrip was also very reliable and trustworthy to keep his words. Very prompt response and great service.

Nice trip!

The views of the volcanoes were incredible! we spent 2 wonderful days! The tour was great with a few improvements to make: 1 headlamp per person and not for 2 with the battery full, better checking of the gas masks because one of the 2 malfunctioned and my friend felt a strong burn on her head. gorge near the blue flames and a better choice of food to take into account intolerances, diet and food tastes (low lunch budget: 60k/pers). The hotel and the hotel room were great. The guide and driver were great, the guide was understanding and helped with meals by accepting an emergency solution (ordering a pizza at the hotel because lunch was not eaten) and offering us 2 pieces of fruit. Many thanks to our guide Andri for his good humor and kindness!

Awesome Bromo sunrise tour from Surabaya with guide Zidny

We had an excellent tour today in the Bromo mountain area. We were picked up a bit after 11PM at the hotel lobby in Surabaya city center. We rode a comfortable SUV to the Bromo region, and interchanged for a Jeep up to the vista point. We had some hot chocolate and coffee around burning charcoals while waiting for the sunrise, and socialize with our awesome guide Zidny. We discussed Indonesian culture, literature, pop culture, asian news, movies among other topics, and he is very knowledgeable. Before sunrise it was so cold it is wise to wear multiple layers. During sunrise, the color of the mountains turned pink and Zidny helped us take amazing photos. Later we went to hike up Mount Bromo itself to watch the volcanic activity. It’s a 1.5 hour out and back trail with easy to moderate difficulty, lots of dust and no shade. Please bring masks and sunscreen. I recommend bringing some snacks just in case you are hungry during the hike or you don’t like the breakfast. We were sent back to the hotel at around 11AM. It’s an overnight tour so it’s tiring, but the gorgeous view definitely makes this trip worth it.

Me and my friends did the 3 day Mt. Ijen, Mt. Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall with the Guide Zidny. It was a crazy trip. We enjoyed it so much! Once in a life experience

Just came back from a tour in East Java in early November with Mr. Zidny and it was a-ma-zinging.. Mount Bromo’s sunrise is even better to see in person and Mr. Zidny is the best guide we could have possibly have. We felt like at home I am so so grateful ! Terima Kasih mas <3 !!!

Great trip

Really Nice trip. Everything was taken care of and Aldi was a great guide. The drivers of the car that picked is up and the trainstation and the jeep that took is to Bromo where really Nice aswell.

A wonderful experience in Indonesia

My friends and I, consisting of six people, chose a 4d3n package, which caused a lot of trouble for Vincent and Aldi. However, they were very patient and helped us solve the problem. Thank you very much! Aldi is about the same age as us and has a good conversation with us. He is very humorous and I hope we can have the opportunity to meet again in the future.
