Small Group Tour to DMZ & Suspension Bridge with Hotel Pickup

Choosing a small group tour was the best decision

I really appreciate our friendly tour guide Vincent who shared a lot of insights about the whole area. I could not be more grateful for him. It was a lovely day trip that allowed me to better understand the whole situation between South and North. I recommend visiting the War Memorial of Korea before this trip, it is going "get you" in the mood.

Very interesting and fun

It was a nice full-day, small-group tour. Joo-Ee was our tour guide and she was awesome: organized, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate the way I wanted. This will give me the opportunity to go back in the future.

Well organised tour to DMZ

We took this small group tour to DMZ, with Vincent as a guide/driver of a minivan. Vincent was a good guide and I most enjoyed his story telling about the separation of Korea and its impact on its people, it was quite emotional. At the DMZ we joined a larger coach organised by authorities. The tour is best suited for people interested in learning more about the Korean war history and peoples, and there isn't a great deal in terms of sights to see. The suspension bridge was pleasant but can be skipped. Although the site says 7.30am start, my hotel pick up was actually 6.05am. There is no defined lunchtime but you can get a snack at the DMZ entrance park.

Tour the DMZ

Loved having Vincent as a tour guide! The smaller group was nice at the beginning of the tour and you will be put on a big bus when it’s time to actually go into the DMZ zone. All that said, this tour was great!

The best of DMZ

We were so impressed with this tour !!our tour guide Vincent was very knowledgeable and the best part was the tour where we could see part of N.Korea and of course the Tunnel

Physically exhausting

I'm 68 years old and am not usually physically active. The 3rd Tunnel just about did me in. Remember that what goes down must come up.

Eye opening experience and good tour size

This was an eye opening and very informative experience. Being in a small group tour was convenient as it was easy to get around and listen to our guide. The tour operators were friendly, punctual and very well organised.

Interesting and informative!

What an interesting day. It was a long day but learning about and standing in the DMZ is quite fascinating. Our guide Andy was very kind and helpful. We had to adjust our day a bit because it was busy and we didn’t get our spot into the DMZ until. 1:30, so we went out and visited the suspension bridge first, came back to Peace Park and were able to have lunch and explore and then we went in at 1:30. We started at 3rd tunnel and that was so interesting, followed by the observation tower and lastly a quick stop on reunification village. We really enjoyed our day! We arrived back in Seoul at Myeongdong at 5:30!

Great experience at the DMZ!

Very convenient pickup in the morning as it was a short walk from our building. Besides my family of four, there were only four others on the van from central Seoul to the DMZ. Vincent was our tour guide/driver and kept us updated on each stop, when, and where the entire day. Vincent is very knowledgeable about the DMZ, as well as the surrounding area and history. It was even better that our return drive to Seoul was close enough for a short walk home at the end of the day. Highly recommend Vincent and this small group tour!

Great tour to the DMZ

Well-organized. Time for pick-up was well informed and punctual. Comprehensive tour that could be better with more time at the Reunification Village. Joy-ee is the perfect tour guide and manages to tell the history and stories from the DMZ excellently.

Vincent was a great tour guide and driver. Everything was well organized and we had enough time to take plenty of photos. Weather was also great, so the view was excellent.

Special Tour

Enthusiastic and friendly guide James took me and six others in his comfortable van for an interesting DMZ day full of history stories, practical actualities and fascinating facts. Even though we had to transfer to a larger (military) bus in the DMZ itself, the small group atmosphere remained. A special tour that I recommend!

Great tour, excellent tour guide!

Transportation for the tour was spot on. Vincent made contact prior and coordinated everything for pickup location and time, and was exactly on time. He even contacted us the day before to recommend to bring an umbrella due to the weather forecast. The tour guide, Joo, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and was passionate about giving a good tour, and was able to answer all our questions. I could not recommend this tour and the tour guide more. This was the highlight of my trip to Korea!

Vincent, our tour guide, was everything that you would want your tour guide to be! I have been spreading the word to all the people going to Korea to do this tour and to ask for Vincent! The small group made it much more pleasant experience! Vincent was friendly (offered to take pictures), very knowledgeable (about Korean history and DMZ) and communicated all the details (few days before the tour). Highly strongly recommend

This is the DMZ tour to book. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing tour! Well organized from beginning to end - picked us up at hotel, explained what was going to happen at each location, described details of each location, and dropped us off at one of four locations at the end of the day. Our group size was 11, but it seems the max would be 12 based on the seating in the bus - that is the prefect size for the group. Our guide, Vincent, was amazing - safe driver, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to understand, and was very attentive to his whole group. My daughter and I had an amazing time making lifelong memories!!

Joo Ee is a fantastic guide who speaks good English. She shared a lot of information on Korean history. Overall it was a great tour and we enjoyed it very much.

DMZ day tour

Our tour guide Vincent was very knowledgeable and patient (especially with those of us that aren't the fastest walkers!) The background info was very helpful and interesting. The tour was well worth the price.

Informed historical experience

Enjoyed we were in a small group of 15 and had Jo Ee as our tour guide. It was great having an English speaking guide who was very patient and attentive. She made sure we all got our personal photos within the time limit and explained the history behind each place very clearly. Fully recommend the tour as it's essential to be informed about the political side of South Korea and its impact on the people today.

A fascinating tour

From start to finish the DMZ tour was fascinating. Our tour guide, Vincent, was especially informative about the impact of the Korean war on families and how totally isolated North Korea is despite sharing a border with South Korea. Just being able to see North Korea from above and below ground (in the Third tunnel) was amazing.

DMZ must do in South Korea

As we were planning our Korea holiday, the DMZ was a must do. We are experience travelers and will invest time to plan and coordinate our holidays. In reviewing DMZ logistics, it is recommended to sign up a tour to visit. I believe you can arrange a non-tour visit, but unless you know someone there, it's not worth the time and trouble. We had reviewed all of the tour options and operators, it was cleared that we preferred a small group to manage time and expectations. Our tour guide/lead Vincent is an excellent example of experience tour expert. He was prompt and clear with his communications and coordinations. One of the most challenging tour lead quality is managing logistics and time. He had reach out via email a few days before our tour to gather our hotel info and logistics. He responded promptly once he had finalized the day of pick up times. On tour date, he was prompt and early. We, too are early risers, so we were also early at the pick up spot when he arrived in a snazzy tall black van that can seat up 12 passengers comfortably. He immediately greeted us and thank us for being early and prompt. He continue onward to 4 other stops to pick up the remaining guests. About an hour later, everyone picked up and Vincent drove about an hour toward the DMZ. Once arrived at the DMZ Imjingak Park, Vincent outlined the tour details for the day. During the tour, he was clear and concise with explaining and sharing the tour highlights to our group with much professionalism. He often shared the history of DMZ for all of us to know, the history of DMZ is quite sad. Korea is still the only divided country in the world. We enjoyed this tour and Vincent at the helm. At each and every points of interest or spots, Vincent is working hard in sharing the details, answering questions and being THE photographer for all of us tour guests! When the tour concluded, Vincent still needs to work and drive us back to Seoul, he asked us all where we would like to be dropped off to visit 4 hot spots in Seoul. We happened to be the last drop off (4:30ish PM), so it was a really long day, but you would know that with Vincent's enthusiasm. We again we thank Vincent for his dedication in providing an excellent amazing tour experience. If you are ever in Korea and DMZ is on your to-do list, you need to book this tour with Vincent. Early stsrt but very informative and enjoyable

Despite the super early start (6AM) the tour was enjoyable and informative. Our guide joy ee was an amazing guide. Besides being very knowledgeable, she is very friendly and kind.

A great day out with a very interesting itinerary, Vincent the guide was easy to understand with perfect English, an early start but we were back at hotel for 4pm, highly recommended.

Fantastic DMZ Tour

The DMZ Tour was terrific. The tour starts very early but having just arrived in South Korea the day before from North America we were still jet lagged and up early anyway so the early start wasn't an issue. The tour guide Vincent was extremely kind and very knowledgeable. He confirmed the pickup place and time via WhatsApp so communicating with him prior to the tour was easy. Wearing comfortable clothes and shoes is a must. There's some hiking involved and coming back up from the 3rd infiltration tunnel was pretty intense . The weather wasn't the best on the day of the tour so we didn't get a clear view of N. Korea but the tour is definitely a must do. It was worth it!

Eye Opening DMZ Tour

This was really cool experience. Vincent our guide was so organized and detailed in this tour. Lots of great information from him and to be able to see this was eye opening. I thought I knew a lot about the 2 Koreas but man Vincent was able to provide a lot of additional details to what I knew already. Great guide and tour. Definitely recommend to go with Vincent and his tour company!! Would do it again!!

Great DMZ tour - highly recommended!

We highly recommend this tour!!! Our small group tour to the DMZ with Vincent was great! Communication before the trip was good through WhatsApp. Final coordination happened the evening before pick up. He picked us up at our hotel precisely on time, and there were ~10 other people on the tour with our group of 3. Vincent was a wonderful tour guide with a wealth of knowledge. He welcomed questions and spoke very authentically about the relationship between North and South Korea. We certainly came away from the tour with a deeper understanding of the history and significance of the DMZ.

Vincent is an amazing tour guide! This tour was a highlight of our trip to Korea. Very well organized and very informative. Visited a lot of neat places and Vincent was able to explain the history and importance of each stop. I would highly recommend this tour! The vehicle is a nice 10 passenger van. We saw a lot of big tour buses there - having a small group with a small vehicle definitely has advantages. Also, I should mention that Vincent speaks English very well. He answered all our questions and explained everything well. Thank you!

DMZ tour is a must.

Our DMZ tour was the highlight of our first trip to Seoul. We were picked up promptly and driven safely to our destination(s). Our trip was so organized and our guide, Vincent, made sure we did and saw everything on schedule. Vincent was kind and friendly and we really could tell he enjoyed sharing his knowledge. The weather wasn't ideal for viewing, and he apologized for that! Vincent, the weather wasn't your fault! lol! We learned so much about Korean history and the story of the DMZ. This tour is a must. All-around excellent, small group, great tour, awesome guide!

This was all-around an excellent tour. The tour guide Vincent is funny and very knowledgeable about everything that has to do with the DMZ and a lot of Korean history too. The tour is very well paced and I don't feel like anything was left out or that anything was too much. It's also great that it's a small group tour (we were 8 in total, and judging by the space in the minibus I'd say there was maybe space for one or two more people at the most). The only "negative" is how early we get picked up, but that's absolutely necessary to get the most out of the tour and not come back too late. All in all, a very easy 5* to give!

Our guide for the day was Vincent … the whole tour was spectacular and I would highly recommend it especially if you were lucky enough to have Vincent as your guide … we visited the suspension bridge first - it was a little bit of a hike to get there but once you did it was amazing … the DMZ area was very interesting and Vincent explained the history between North and South.. we visited the tunnels and lucky we went down by monorail as it is a bit of a walk … a fabulous day was had and we had an amazing group of people on our tour … thanks again Vincent
