Nice and efficient way to see many spots

Very well organised tour but be ready to be a lot on the road! (6-7h?). Patrick did a great job at driving safely and being on-time for each spot. He also recommended a great restaurant for lunch and was very helpful at booking the zip line (optional) to join Nami Island. The group wasn’t so big either. Many thanks.

Nature bath outside Seoul

Mt. Seorak and the grounds and temples in the park were beautiful. After the cable card, write up, there is a short but steep walk up rocks for about 15 minutes. Definitely wear tennis shoes. Lunch of Dak Galbi afterwards was delicious. Nami Island was pretty, but we thought it was geared more towards children and K-drama enthusiasts. Garden of Morning Calm was stunning! We happened to be there during a hydrangea exhibit, so that was beautiful. The whole garden is breathtaking. Our guide was great! He was friendly, funny, and informative, giving us great insight into Korean culture and tips for our upcoming stays in Jeju Island and Busan.

amazing views

Our guide was Patrick, he was very informative. This trip is nice although it felt rushed. I love those 3 places we went to, really amazing views! There was an incident where Patrick informed us that it is safe to leave our things in the bus so we can comfortably look at the place, but when we left behind our clear plastic bag with our big bag of chips and cookies before heading to Nami Island, the bus driver threw them away thinking it was garbage so make sure that your guide tells the bus driver when you leave your belongings.

Seoraksan is a very...

Seoraksan is a very popular place where not only foreigners but also Koreans go. It's because it's so beautiful. It's not artificial beauty. The beauty of nature is really great. To be honest, Nami Island is also beautiful. But the beauty is by no means a natural beauty. It's a drama filming location and artificial beauty. Garden of Morning Calm was better than Nami Island. This is a really big place. It was a very happy day. Make sure you go. You will never regret it. Finally, the food recommended by the guide SunDo was really good

Makes your Seoul Trip a Korean Vacation

The views from Seoraksan are spectacular, Nami Island is a wacky delight, Dak-kabli is delicious, the Garden of Morning Calm is spectacular, and Patrick was an excellent host. This is a day trip across the northern part of South Korea in an air-conditioned bus, which makes it possible to turn a Seoul trip into a Korean Vacation. Catch this one, try everything, and enjoy yourself.

Beautiful Korean landscapes

Great trip all around. Mount Seorak just stunning views and nature. Nami Island was a great way to end the tour, very calming and beatiful. The Korean Barbecue I had was also very tasty. And even though it‘s a bit pricey, I took the zip line onto Nami Island. 😃

Amazing value, shows beautiful parts of Korea and highly memorable

This tour is long, but the reasons are valid, to show you 3 beautiful spots, driven in comfort and with someone else concentrating on the road, time and itinerary. Ki is a personable guide who genuinely wants you to enjoy the snippets of his country, and do a great job for his boss. All stops: Mt Seorak, Nami and the amazing Garden of Morning Calm are well worth the effort. Value is amazing. 2 suggestions: use a microphone in the bus as hard to hear and easier for you and your voice Be less obvious about taking guests to a restaurant with which you have a relationship, as that one looked terrible, unhygienic and a trap. Otherwise, perfect tour and highly recommended

Wonderful sites outside of city

We loved getting out of Seoul and seeing several different nature settings! The national park was more beautiful than we could have imagined! Ki was a joy to Have as a guide! He gave great tips about travels and history of Korea throughout the day! Long day but worth it!

A day full of memorable experiences

Mount Seorak was a special place. Plenty of time to explore independently. The cable car ride was well worth it. Once again, free time without pressure. I would be happy to have missed Nami Island. It was dated and tired and not very interesting. It broke up the trip, but it would be worth finding a different destination. On the other hand, the Garden of Morning Calm was unspeakably beautiful, and I’m so glad I got to experience it. It was a long day, with excellent memories

Great experience to see nature outside of Seoul ztr

We went on this tour May 2024 and had the pleasure of having Ki as our guide! He truly made the tour exceptional. He was upbeat and enthusiastic through a long day (14 hours) and had lots of recommendations and advice about our time in Korea. 1st we went to Mt. Seorak where Ki recommended sightseeing/trail options that would work best with the 3 hours we had there. The park was full of such beauty and it was wonderful to be in the mountain area. We hiked to Biseondae Rock and enjoyed the stream and trees on the hike. Next we explored NAMI island where Ki also gave recommendations to enhance the island experience. Lastly we went to the garden of the morning calm around 550 pm which was at the “golden hour” before sunset in May 2024 which was truly a remarkable and calm experience. We really enjoyed seeing the Korea Garden and the millennium juniper. The roads can be a little twisty and I’m prone to motion sickness, I brought my motion sick medication and was fine. Overall this was an action packed day full of natural beauty, and Ki really helped to make the day extra special !

Highly recommended

A lovely, well-organised day out with outstanding guide Ki. Ki was extremely helpful and patient with a great sense of humour. It's a long day but totally worth it. The cable car at Mt Seorak was not operational due to high winds. We enjoyed the beautiful walk through the forest. Nami Island was beautiful, but crowded even on a weekday. The trees are impressive. Highlight of the day was The Garden of Morning Calm, which should not be missed. The gardens are a 30-year labour of love and are absolutely beautiful. I can highly recommend this tour.

Long day with excellent guide

Our group of 5 had a wonderful, full day out with excellent guide Ki. The mountain, temple, island and gardens were all delightful.

A different experience to enjoy!

Mt. Seorak was a revelation. Enjoyed this trip. The only suggestion i would make is a preview of the choices of hiking trails prior to going there do time could be managed well and we could get to do and see

Awesome tour with the opportunity to travel/see outside of Seoul

I really appreciated the tour which allowed for a short hike in the Mt. Seorak area- it was beautiful to be outside of Seoul in nature. Ki our tour guide was awesome- his English was awesome & I appreciated how he let us rest on the bus but also gave us information on South Korea. He took us to one of his favourite chicken Korean restaurants which we were able to partake in - which as a solo traveller I really appreciated this! We went to Nami Island which was beautiful & I loved the references to Winter Sonata which was filmed there . Lastly we went to Garden of Morning calm- which was as gorgeous! I would have loved to have a matcha tea & some down time here. Ki was fantastic as he helped us take photos in front of the bonsai tree in the garden. I would definitely recommend this tour & if I had been in Seoul longer would have taken the DMZ tour with Ki as well!

Nami island and Garden of Morning Calm Day were my favorites . Beautiful scenery and very calming. Mt Seorak was great too.

Great experience with Ki

Ki was a knowledgeable and personable guide who made the day very enjoyable. He even stuck to his word and gave us recommendations even after the tour. Be prepared for a long day - we departed Myeongdong station at 6.50am and returned at 8.35pm. Approximately half the tour is on the bus traveling and the other half at the attraction. The views are spectacular and worth the long day.

Well planned and very fun tour

The day was well planned and we had plenty of time to explore everything. Our tour guide, Ki, was incredibly informative, funny, and gave us great tips for the rest of our time in Seoul.

Amazing day- filled with nature & beauty that South Korea has to offer.

I was super excited to be able to find a tour that took us to Mount Seorak! I was also very surprised how much I also enjoyed Nami Island & then finished off the day with a very beautiful garden. This tour had an excellent guide Ki and our driver for the day as well. The bus was comfortable- for once on my very busy trip I got to relax & not worry about how to get to places. I loved this tour & would highly recommend it to anyone that loves nature! I was also very happy to have the Korean bbq chicken with Makgeolli. I appreciate Ki’s approach in the tour - it was wonderful understanding what I was going to go see & also tips he gave us tourists were extremely helpful!

Beautiful landscapes

Long, but fun day out exploring the beautiful natural landscapes near Seoul. Ki did an awesome job telling us stories and keeping us on track with the schedule. 3 stunning locations with 1-2 hours at each stop was enough time. Bus ride provided a great chance to rest or take a nap for jetlagged passengers.

Just OK

This recent excursion to Mt. Seorak, Nami Island, and the Garden of Morning Calm offered a blend of adventure and tranquility. Our guide is Ki who has been helpful. While the long bus journey may deter some, Mt. Seorak proved more suited for dedicated hiking trips rather than quick tourist visits. Nami Island, despite its commercialization, retained its serene allure, with biking being a delightful way to soak in its charm. The Garden of Morning Calm lived up to its name with its stunning floral displays, spreading warmth and happiness to all who visit. Overall, it was a journey filled with natural beauty and moments of peaceful contemplation.

This was an awesome tour, Mt Seorak was beautiful and the views were so worth the drive! Nami Island and the Garden of Morning Calm were great too! Our tour guide Ki was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Highly recommend!

Fun all day trip too explore outside of Seoul

The trip was fun and very well organized, and Ki - our guide - was great. Departing and arriving was right on time (although i guess that mostly relies on patrons being on time too). My only suggestion would be to spend more time on Seoraksan / the garden of morning calm and less time on Nami island (our even cut Nami altogether), because Nami was definitely the weakest stop.

Amazing day exploring with a great tour guide Ki

I was in Korea for a very short time and it was a perfect tour , allowing to explore places outside Seoul. Ki , our guide, was amazing, knowledgeable, funny and keeping energy up throughout a day. He also gave great tips for the rest of the trip. I will be looking for Ki tours on my next trip to Korea as i will be back.

Long but compact day tour

This was a long day tour starting before 7am and did not return to the starting point until about 8:30pm. The Seorak mountain was on the cold side (in late April) but the view towards the range of mountains around was fantastic. The other sites the tour visited including Nami island and Garden of morning calm are also pretty but more touristic. Our guide Ki was very helpful and spoke perfect American English. Overall, if you are only in Seoul for a couple of days and prepared to walk a bit, this long day tour is highly recommended. For the older folks who cannot walk too much without feeling tired, maybe the city tour or omitting the Seorak mountain will be more appealing.

Mt. Seorak

Fantastic trip! We loved going up in the cable car at Mt. Seorak and seeing the temple, and the gardens were beautiful. Our guide Ki was very friendly and informative and had a good sense of humour. Definitely recommend!

Mr Ki's magical tour bus

Our tour guide Ki was very friendly, informative and accomodating. We started the day nice and early on our way to the Mount Seorak before heading to Nami Island, then ended the day with a trip to Garden of Morning Calm. Throughout the journey, he answered any questions we had and even sang for us :D I would recommend this trip if you like nature, hiking and exploring new areas. There was a lot of travelling and delays involved as expected so be aware of that if your itinerary is tight. When we went the weather changed quite a bit from clear, sunny and warm to lots of rain. You do also get the opportunity to stop by a restaurant in Nami island for lunch so no need to bring any packed lunch, but do bring snacks to keep you energized through the day!!

Tour guide Ki was very helpful in any possible way . Night before I had hard time ordering taxi on my app. He spent 20 minutes with me helping me to resolve issue . Great tour guide !!!

The trip was on time and good. The tour guide Andrew was perfect and explained well. However, the duration for the tour a bit too long for elderly people.

Great all-day trip to get a break from the city

Ki was a great host! He really made the experience more enjoyable with his stories and advice, which also helped make the day not feel so long. My family and I took the Seorak Mountain + Nami Island + The Garden of Morning Calmn tour in April, before the Spring bloom. That said, Seorak Mountain was still a pleasant hike for some beautiful views. Nami Island seemed very commercialized, but I bet it's probably very beautiful once flowers and trees grow back after winter. Our favorite was the Garden of Morning Calm! They had already planted tulips and the time of the day with the sunset provided the perfect lighting for some beautiful photos. Ki was very kind to point out the best spots for photos and helped by being the photographer for many folks. I would highly recommend this tour if you want something to do for one of your days in Seoul to get some beautiful natural views and a break from the busy city!

Worth to visit Mt. Seorak

Ki is a great and helpful guide, five stars to him! I took the tour because of Mt. Seorak which was worth to visit; the Nami Island and the Garden were just extras for me.

An excellent tour, well structured with the excellent instructor Ki

We had a great day with Ki at this full day trip. He is such a nice and warm person, shared his stories with us and took good care of us the intire day and have excellent English too. The tour has the perfect combination of free time to wander alone and of constructed time. We returned to the hotel full of new wonderful memories

Truly scenic trip!

Seoraksan was lovely, and I only wish we had more time at the Garden of Morning Calm as it was really quite lovely (even with some flowers still in trays waiting to be planted). The guide, Ki, was most helpful, engaging and informative, and really enhanced the whole experience.

Amazing experience

Ki was an amazing and funny tour guide during the entire journey. He gave clear explanations and instructions and gave us enough time to explore. Would definitely recommend to anyone who would like to discover the Seoraksan Mountains, the Nami island and the Garden of the Morning Calm on the same day.

I have been to many tours in my life.. in Canada, US, Mexico, Asia, Europe. Mr Keys was the best. He was very helpful, funny and has a great personality. Because of his help I was able to enjoy Mt Seorak.

Good tour.

Great locations, interesting history and theme park. The only exception is during lunch with the one set meal. Need transparency on pricing and type of meal offer prior to visit the island.
