Amazing experience with a defector

The primary reason to take this tour over others is being able to learn of North Korea from a former citizen. It was eye opening to hear her story, her struggles, and her hopes. Other tours will show you the same places, but this is a difference maker in my book.

The tunnel was amazing

The highlight of this trip for me was the tunnel. It was challenging a very rewarding to complete this tour is what you make it, scheduling is challenging due to security. It’s a lot of walking and not particularly accessible for everyone. If you don’t have any Mobility issues I say give it a try!

Very informative

I personally liked the monuments and background of each introduced at Imjingak most, as well as the museum at the 3rd Tunnel. Dora Observatory was quite nice as well, especially being able to view the different sites talked about through the binoculars

Good tour to DMZ

Our guide was great. Bus was comfortable. Wish we had more time to explore the Imingjak (first stop) tour and could skip the Ginseng seller stop at the end. Otherwise it was only the fog and rain that killed the views!

Walking down tunnel 3 is...

Walking down tunnel 3 is quite the workout!! It also helps if you’re not tall! Very interesting experience.

Average tour

We did not get to see the blue houses, our main aim was to see that area and it was not possible. The long wait in a bus to get access to the tunnels is unbeareable, incosiderate to have people sitting in a bus for 5 to 6 hours to get the access. There are many things that could be improve on the tour.

The trip here was completed last week, so it's one less thing to worry about.

The conflict between North and South Korea was widely covered in the news. Irene, my tour guide, taught me a ton of useful facts. I want to learn more about the background of the Korean War. Enjoyed me much on this vacation.

The tour gives you a fantastic insight into the Korean War, the divide between north and south and let’s you see North Korea from your very own eyes. A recommended visit when travelling to Seoul.

Enjoyable Tour

Informative and enjoyable tour, with a great guide. Advertisement does mention a meeting North Korean defector however which didn’t happen, and this is a shame. Would also have loved to have spent more time at the Dora Observatory, which is easily the highlight.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was an amazing experience. 100% recommended now with the Dora observatory fully revamped in 2020 i couldn't recognise it. I was here in 2016 and it felt like a whole new experience.

Amazing DMZ Tour

I loved this tour with Eva. She was so kind and informative. This is a must do if you are in Korea. You will love it!

A really interesting trip

I wasn't sure what to expect, but wound up having a really interesting day. It was a somewhat early start (8am), with an hour bus ride to Imjing Park, where we waited for a while for a shuttle bus (I think the exact wait time varies on the day). At 10:45 we met up and walked around the Park, with our lovely tour guide explaining everything we could see (and answering all of the numerous questions we put to her!). At 11:30 we left to visit the 3rd tunnel, then on to the Dora Observatory to look out at North Korea at 1, and finally leaving to pop into the obligatory gift shop at 1:30. Even on a foggy day we could see the nearby North Korean city, so the weather doesn't matter much! All round a fascinating tour, very well run, and I learnt a lot about the Korean War, the DMZ and also about the current relations between the two countries. Absolutely would recommend.

Eva did very well today. She was very engaged from start to finish and she had so much good information to share. She obviously enjoys this job.

Excellent trip worth every penny

Eva is an excellent tour guide. The DMZ tour is an excellent tour with great insights into the Korean War and impact on people. The tunnel was really cool. Observatory was excellent with a great view into DPRK almost surreal being so close to DPRK. I would highly recommend this tour.

2nd DMZ tour and hands down the best...

This was my 2nd visit to South Korea and my 2nd time doing this tour... We had Tracy as our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing... Very good knowledge of the Korean history... I highly recommend this for company for price, comfort of transportation and the history lesson.

Eva was an excellent host and tour guide, she was attentive, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Korea and the DMZ. We were picked up at our hotel and transferred to main shuttle bus at Presidents Hotel where we joined more visitors for the tour. DMZ tour

We had an amazing experience. We learnt about the history of north and south korea and the DMZ and its journey. Visiter a few places including the Dora Observatory where we can see North Korea. We also experience going through the 3rd tunnel. All in all, it was amazing.

The best tour squad is Soyoung.

Our tour guide, So Young, was wonderfully friendly and informative. She was quite knowledgeable about the history of the DMZ, spoke excellent English, and gave close attention to every tourist. In my view, if you take this trip again, ask for So Young in particular. This part of our vacation was fantastic thanks to So Young.

Had an efficient trip

Nancy kept the tour moving along quickly and provided a lot of information. She does an excellent job of ensuring that a sizable group of tourists moves along so that you make the most of your time.

Nice DMZ tour

Because I had heard that the DMZ was the most representative tourist attraction in Korea, I applied for the DMZ tour. You must employ a travel agency because getting to the DMZ trip is inconvenient. Additionally, be careful to verify the cost of the DMZ tour. The DMZ courses are all the same, but the fees for each agency vary greatly. Have fun visiting the DMZ.

You must not miss this excursion.

While visiting South Korea, you should not skip the DMZ excursion from Seoul. With the help of this trip, you may gain an understanding of North Korean culture while also learning about the terrible events that led to the division of the country. Ms. Sung, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the location and Korean history.

Tracy is a very nice tour guide, she told us lots of Korea stories and way of thinking, The most important is her clear and sensational explainions, How’s the South Korea people think of the reunion, how’s the Korea family from both side happy meet together in 2020! I think the most important is that she pass the important message to us that war is stupid! The only way to keep the world in one are love and peace! Fun and educational

I have always been interested in modern Korean history and current diplomatic relationships between North and South Korea, with our guide Tracy who was fluent in English and very friendly; we were able to explore DMZ with lens of regular Koreans, and she provided detailed explanations of the infiltration tunnels and border facilities. Although I would prefer to stay at certain tourist locations for longer times, I would say the tour is tailor-made for foreign visitors with a right schedule.

I can't go to JSA right now, but I applied because I heard that there is an option to talk to the defected people. It's not in other companies. I wanted to tell the kids a story that they couldn't hear anywhere else. I can't go there myself, but I can see them from afar and hear their stories, so the story is really alive. We agreed with each other that it was worth it. I didn't want to lighten the DMZ tour. Above all, I was interested in the Korean War. So I had a North Korean defector option, and this is awesome. If you're going, make sure to try this option. I definitely recommend this! Although I am living in Korea now, meeting North Korean Defector was a new experience.

A great tour with new people

I often use package tours because I can be with many people. I participated because my friend recommended this tour from Seoul. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the guide of various and deeply knowledge, also the guide who tries to be interested in us. It was a good tour. I really hope you go there, too.
