DMZ visit

Had a great day. Not many people get to see North Korea. Our tour guide Laura was wonderful and everything run like clockwork. Our hotel pickup was on time and I carnt express how impressed I am with Viator. The only thing that surprised me was how commercialised the site was with stores and takeaways but still was an impressive place.

Great experience espacially for Germans. Tour guide was well prepared and got already in touch the evening before. The meeting was 45 Minutes earlier and there was a pick up point nearby.

We loved our guide Miel. She was very knowledgeable about the history and current situation, and had a lively personality. The tour is a must do to experience an area unique to the world and a zone we hope can be free to move across.

Good, informative time

We were lucky the weather was very good, so we had a clear view of far away areas from high points. Yoon was a wonderful tour guide. She was very kind, friendly, funny and easy to listen to. She went above and beyond by giving extra information and offering to take photos for the guests.

Interesting, I learned a lot and I had also fun. The guide was very good and gentle. I really enjoyed my tour.

A good tour

I loved the view point and looking theough the binoculars, though very busy. The guide spoke alot about the history and was very informative, allowing us to understand how things came to be. She made time to engage with me personally and ensure questions were answered. The tour when booking allows a pick up from hotel option. This was NOT the case. They left it till 9pm the night before to tell me that I needed to travel 45mins by bus or tram. To a collection point. If changing pick up details, please inform people sooner. I enquired 2 days before incase, If I had gone to bed I would of missed the tour.

Interesting tour. Miel was very informative and very organized. She was extremely helpful and even called a taxi for me at the end of the tour so she could tell the driver where I wanted to go.

Trip to DMZ

It was a nice tour especially with the lovely group leader "Spring" We have visited multiple places at the boarder and saw North Korea and people there. Also it was a nice experience going to the tunnel North Korea made I recommend to take this tour.

Last minute book

We were surprised that at 10:10 (the last bus leaves at 10:00) when we called the company they still manage to offer as the tour. It was a great experience, the driver was very nice, the guide as well.

Great tour, very interesting and a must see!

Laura was a great guide with lots of info about this history of the DMZ and how things came to be now. Imjingak park was interesting and contradictory - a place where families come to pray for family left in the north but where there is an amusement park for the children who may not understand the older generation’s loss. The 3rd infiltration tunnels is amazing- quite a tough walk down and back up, but gives you a real feel for what could happen if the tunnels were not found. Dora observatory gives an amazing view over into North Korea, we were lucky enough to spot 2 North Korean guards in the distance. Great day out, well worth the trip

Amazing experience

This tour a must if you are visiting South Korea. There are so many opportunities to take photos, see monuments and buy souvenirs. The view from the observatory is really cool - we even managed to see some North Korean soldiers. Our tour guide, Laura, was lovely, and very helpful. She was a beacon of knowledge and her English is very good. Overall this tour is definitely worth the money, and I definitely recommend going.

A trip to the north…

Laura was a great tour guide! Super friendly, and kept us at a good pace! We had great timing and had two of the locations without other tour groups! Hot tip… don’t wear your jacket down the tunnel… it’s definitely a work out!

The tour group is big but there was sufficient time and space to explore everything! We were the only tour group around most of the time (we chose the 10am departure group) so it wasn’t crowded. Had a great time and fun exploring the DMZ. Laura, our tour guide was knowledge and friendly!
