My husband and I had such an amazing experience with the team at Mount Batur Jeep Sunrise Tour. We were collected from our villa and arrived safely to transfer into our jeep. From there, we were taken to watch the most amazing sunrise. Our tour guide was brilliant taking lots of photos of us and providing our delicious breakfast. Service was 10/10. 100% recommend!

Solo Trip - became friends with the crew

I was hesitant going solo and booked last min (two hours before pickup), and the team was very accommodating. I was picked up from my hotel and Erry(my driver) waited for me an extra 20-30mins because I overslept and said to take my time. We ended chatting and singing all the way from my hotel and back. And then I was picked up by Keteut(my Jeep driver) we ended up having tea and rented a jacket for 50k. Then I was solo on the Jeep on the entire trip and I thought I would be paired with other solo travelers. Keteut was very knowledgeable about the history of Batur, black lava and the whole area in general. Also, all the Jeep drivers are good photographers, they can definitely take some of the best pics and could really find a career in photography:) Overall, a very pleasant experience on a very last min booking. The whole team was great and helpful, I really enjoyed the view, tea and light breakfast. Don’t be afraid to try the Mangosteen its really sweet and delicious.

Highlight of our honeymoon 🤩

Well, where to even start…. We honestly couldn’t recommend this breathtaking excursion highly enough. The views are just stunning and the whole experience from start to finish was amazing. We had the best driver called Kadek who spoke amazing English and was an absolute delight. Kadek went above and beyond to get special photographs of my partner and I and gave us lots of insight and knowledge of Bali. Thank you so much for making our honeymoon SO memorable. Best trip ever!!

Fabulous experiwnce

This trip with Bali tours was amazing. Mangku our jeep driver made the experience unforgettable! He educated us about the local produce and customs and drove so well through the rugged terrain. When we got to the top he found us a perfect position to see the sun rise! He then got us breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. He was then our best photographer! The experience on the mountain was second to none. Once he dropped us back to our base point our tour driver Dewar took us to the hot springs, checked us in and just waited. We felt no pressure to hurry. We got a traditional Balinese massage whilst soaking in the pools! We then stopped for a drink at a gorgeous place overlooking the lake and mountain. After this he took us to the coffee plantation which was so interesting and delicious! Nothing was too much trouble. When we come to Bali again we will be sure to use Bali tours!

Absolutely beautiful and easy for people that want to enjoy the view without the physical exhaustion.

Mount Batur trek is quite time consuming and exhausting to do on foot so I would definitely recommend going for the jeep sunrise tour! But keep in mind that the jeeps can only take you up to 30% of the mountain. (Which is a very beautiful spot btw) If you want to go to the top then you can ride motorcycles upto 95% of the mountain for an extra charge of around 200k to 300k IDR. The jeep tour takes about 20 minutes to reach the 30% mark and the bikes take another 15 minutes to reach the 95% mark so keep that in mind while planning. The pick up from our stay was smooth since we had already talked with the owner and provided our stay's location. We reached from Ubud to our base camp in about 50 minutes (though you can expect it to take around 1 hour 10 minutes) and then rented some jackets and blanket since the ride can be rather cold before the sun rises. The staff was very helpful and friendly which was very reassuring. Our tour guide even came to the top of Mount Batur in order to ensure our safety which is was very considerate of him and he even helped us negotiate the price with the motorcycles to the top. Overall very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing sunrise trip!

Putra was a fantastic Jeep guide for our mount batur sunrise trip! We booked the trip very very last minute. We had a great time and Putra took lots of nice photos for us and got us hot drinks and breakfast, and also took us to the lava fields afterwards!

Sunset TOUR

We booked the sunset driving tour and our driver was Sentana. It was an amazing tour, you have to book it. Sentana was a great drive very safe and sweet. He was able to answer any questions we had about Bali also. It’s an early start but so worth it. Our ATV driver was also fantastic. We also did the baths afterwards which were worth it! Defo book!

AMAZING TIME WITH GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER

The views was an amazing site with a fantastic photographer Wayan gunawan, by far the best keep experience. The jungle was a very good experience too.

this was amazing and easily the best thing we did in bali! we especially recommend serin, our driver, she was absolutely lovely, so knowledgeable and made the experience even better! we also had nari as our jeep driver who was also lovely and made us feel so comfortable :))) would recommend to anyone!

Mount Batur jeep sunrise tour

I highly recommend this tour. It's worth getting up early to join. Sunrise was amazing.The tour guide, Gokong, and the other two were very kind and supportive. The jeep ride was thrilling and the kids liked it so much.

The sunrise at the batur mountain was amazing with all the jeeps also going around with the jeep in the cold weather in Kintamani was very nice.

Sunrise, Black lava & hot springs

We had an amazing morning watching the sunrise, visiting the black lava and relaxing in the hot springs. We were picked up from our accommodation by Agus who was very friendly. And then taken by Gus de for the jeep & black lave ride, he was very friendly and helpful also . Brilliant trip and experience. Highly recommend

Best sunrise ever

Awesome. Mantap. Amazing Great view Worth coming even need to wake up early like 2am in the morning from ubud and drive an hour to the base and start climbing up using jeep to wait for the sunrise.

Thrilling jeep drive around the lava fields of Mt Batur

Went for a volcano jeep drive with my guide Wayan Gunawan.. He drove me around the lava at the base of Mt Batur, and while there we came across a few motocross guys riding their bikes up the steep lava hills. Loved it! The lave fields feel like being on another planet. Wayan Gunawan has extensive knowledge of the area and I highly recommend to everyone. I would definetly do it again. Excellent unforgettable experience

Had a fantastic time doing the MT Batur sunrise tour, we had Jero Kadek Arcana as our driver and he was perfectly on time, very sweet and knowledgeable. I highly recommend everyone try this one and it’s well worth it.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! The view of the sunrise from Mount Batur is so stunning and so worth the drive and early wake up! Gokong our Jeep driver and tour guide was fantastic! He did such a good job of driving us safely up the mountain and making our experience extra comfortable. He also did an amazing job of capturing such great photos of us. Thank you Gokong! We did the jeep tour with Negah Alit and he did great throughout the day for us, as did the other staff that we spent the trip with. I highly recommend the jeep tour through this operator, all of the staff took good care of us, it was an amazing trip!

Great but bring your own food

Great experience - Highly recommend seeing the sunrise during your stay at Ubud. Breakfast was a little disappointing (banana sandwich, boiled egg and chocolate bar but the hot chocolate was fab!). Would be excellent if the driver stuck around during the duration for picture opportunities but was great when they were around. Drove down was a highlight especially with music playing 😊

Sunrise tour

We took our tour with nengah alit to batur mountain and had the best time. He was super organised and made sure that we knew exactly what to bring and what time he would pick us up. The overall trip was about 9hrs and he made sure that it was a great experience.

A must try experience for walking tour lovers

I had an amazing trip. Melta my driver who escorted me to the jeep meeting point was so lovely. She understood my needs, took care of me since I was alone, and also shared lot of information about the place. Her driving was effortless and really smooth. Next time I choose to do this, I would ask for Melta as my escort.

Sunrise + Volcano Tour!

Awesome experience, great guide. Worth the early wake up for sure. We went from Ubud. Took a little over an hour. Our guide was super nice and informative. Then we got to the jeeps and climbed up with the rest of the folks!

so much fun

We loved today !! You get picked up from your hostel then given free tea or coffee. Headed up to the view point about an hour before sunrise. While you wait you get a free breakfast and drinks. It was very pretty and worth getting up at 2am !! Our tour guide Mang Sute was so lovely and great at taking pictures !! Wouldn’t recommend him more

The best tour so far

We went to see a sunrise by jeep , black lava + waterfall. It was a great experience, especially thanks to our guide Sari , who was super fun and gave us a lot of interesting information about the culture and people of Bali during the tour She gave us plenty of tips and advise for our Bali adventure and we had the best time. The best part of the tour was visiting the waterfall and the area around it. It is a beautiful spot , not yet discovered by lots of tourists. A huge thank you to Sari for making this day so special !

Best guide, best adventure

We had an amazing time with Sari. Best guide you could ask for a trip starting at 3am 😁 Good vibe, very knowledgeable. While we were on our way to the sunrise we asked her if we could go to a waterfall not too crowded. We were in for an adventure (in the best way possible), quickly reached a beautiful and peacefull waterfall but not only we had a couple unexpected discoveries. Crazy trekk in the middle of the rain forest, exploring caves... Not going to spoil you more, just hire her and go with the flow 😁

We had a great time doing the Jeep tour! Everything was coordinated well from start to finish and breakfast was included, which was nice. Sari, our guide, was amazing! She knew so much about the area, and Bali in general, and answered all of our questions. Furthermore, she was very organised and made sure everything on the trip ran smoothly.
