It was a good tour, we enjoyed visiting the wine museum and at the end we had a perfect spot reserved to watch the sunset in Oia. The tour was about 5 hours long so not too long but perfect to enjoy wine, see the sunset, and still enough time to do other things on our own.

Sunset in Oia ooh La La….

Highly recommend this excursion as we were able to bypass the line in Oia to get the famous blue dome pictures. Watching the sunset was fabulous and our guide Yannis was great!

Wine and Sunset!

Personable and knowledgeable guide Yanis. Both vineyards beautiful. Wine museum unusual and very interesting. Sunset bar reserved for us. Great snacks and awesome sunset. Well worth the time and money. Also met some really nice folks from around the world.

Wines, Tour Guide, and Sunset in Oia wrapped into one great afternoon

Beginner friendly way to learn more about Santorini and wine. At the end, had plenty of time in Oia in a reserved locale with a sunset view. The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. Tasted about 10 wines.

Great tour.... Once it starts

The tour itself was very good and the tour guide and driver were friendly and informative. The wine and acompliments were also very good, my particular favourite was the Santorini tomato paste which is a real speciality of the island. The Winery and Wine museum were really interesting and informative with the highlight for me being the cellar of the winery. HOWEVER, the tour was very disorganised and ran significantly behind schedule. (Over an hour). Whilst I appreciate "Greek time" is a cultural factor here, switching buses, sitting in an office for 40 mins and then driving around to pick more people up that had been forgotten if not the ideal start to any tour, let alone a relatively premiumly priced one.

A lovely way to experience Santorini wine

We visited a new winery which was lovely then onto the wine museum which was a little more formal. Last stop was the sun spirit bar in Oia for a glass with nibbles watching the sunset. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable

Our tour guide was great lots of knowledge, and lots of laughs with him and the bus drive. Highly recommend. The wines we tasted where great.

I miss the bus why not return my money 😪 .I been try to catch the bus I been call plenty of time . I try to walk to the bus bus someone showe wrong directions

Elisa was brilliant! She is truly passionate by her job and it shows! We learned a lot, tasted a lot of great wines and had a great time overall!

Santorini's Best Wines

Wonderful experience with a very knowledgeable guide. Wineries were amazing and the wines were even better. Learned a lot about the wine making process and industry in Santorini. Reserved sunset table in Oia with Cheese platter and wine was a great way to finish. Highly recommend for lovers of wine.

Wine tour-santorini

We arranged wine tour in Santorini through NST tours. Pick up was a tad stressful as they were about an hour late so we were not sure if we were in correct pick up location or if we missed bus. They do give you google map location which is helpful but when in a foreign country travel can be stressful! Once we were picked up the rest was smooth sailing! Our tour guide was very knowledgable about Santorini, and local wine production. We went to 2 wineries and ended with a beautiful sunset drink in Oia at a perfect location. We had an area of reserves seats which was great as seats during this time are every hard to come by! We met people from all over the world in our group which was lovely! Would recommend!

Delightful!

Natalie and our driver were fantastic! They were kind enough to share information about the history of the island, the vine growing methods and local culture. We had the best spots for tasting and sunset views. This private tour is highly recommended!

Wine and a view? Excellent experience.

My wife and I had a great experience on this tour. Our tour guide (whose name I cannot remember, but he's an archaeologist) was really great. The first stop was at the top of the highest hill in Santorini from where you can see just about everything on the island - which was beautiful. The second stop - the first winery - was a pleasant experience with five wines and a brief view of the cellar and production facility. The third stop - the second winery - was a more conventional tasting experience with a cave museum tour (which was informative but a little Disneyland-like). Finally, we concluded in Oia at a bar with a tremendous view of the sunset - the best part of the experience in my opinion! We really loved it and were grateful to participate. We definitely recommend this if you're looking for something to do that gives you views of the island and helps you try some of the wine that you'll see all around you during your stay.

Really Beautiful and Relaxing

It was soo good. The wines were so nice and we stopped at so many beautiful and historical spots. Went to the beach for lunch and went for a swim which was amazing. And finished off with the most beautiful sunset at oia. The tour guide was sooo nice and welcoming and funny, she kept things so interesting and made everyone feel very welcomed and comfortable.

Definitely recommend!

Our guide Rena was so friendly and knowledgable! We had a great time at the wineries. Oia was packed on the day we went because of a cruise ship. That would be my only complaint but that is no fault of the tour. Just be aware you could be there on a day where you are walking shoulder to shoulder with people because it’s so crowded which makes it hard for shopping and pictures.

We had an amazing day with Elisa! The wine museum was so wonderful and the tasting delicious! Maria the wine connoisseur at Kipos Restaurant underground cave wine cellar was a phenomenal passionate experience !

Sunset and wine

Johanna our guide was amazing. She was so personable as if she was your best friend you were traveling with. She took us to a beautiful lounge that overlooked the sunset that we were able to sit and relax with a glass of wine away from the crowds

Incredible and romantic wine tour

Nikki was an amazing tour guide, her English was superb, her knowledge of the area and facts of Santorini were incredible. Angel our driver and Nikki were the perfect pair. Nothing was too much trouble for Nikki, she took us to extra places in Oia as we arrived early. Some incredible picture perfect spots and she also found short cuts to avoid the crowds, which was very much appreciated. She kindly took photos of us. We had a small group of 6, which made the experience even more special. Thank you Nikki and Angel, it was perfect.

Good time

Guide was very knowledgable and venues were nice. Final sunset destination was okay minimal view of the town portion more direct view of the ocean. Guide was a bit cold toward the group post sunset but overall enjoyed the experience.

BEST WINE!

This tour was so amazing and had the best of the best wineries included along with some yummy snacks to provide the full authentic Santorini experience. Our tour guide was the best and made sure we made it back on time to not miss our cruise ship and was super accommodating and informative about all things wine!

Lily... the best hands down

Lily was a really nice, vibrant host for the day. Appreciated her sharing her knowledge of the land and wines. It was a super chill day with a beautiful ending. Highly suggest doing a tour and enjoy the wine. Small group which made moving around nice.

If drinking there, then only watching Santorini sunset.

I recommend this tour and believe me, after it you won't forget the place. It is beyond all expectations. Just go, taste and see! The wine there has that special volcanic flavor. Watch sunset while drinking local wine, it makes all the difference.

Top notch tour

Lilly was the perfect guide and very knowledgeable about the history and development of Santorini's interesting grapes. By the end of the tour (which happens to feature a stunning sunset in Oia) my wife and I had tasted a variety of wines and had a clearer understanding of what makes the island's wines so special. The transportation was excellent as well.

Informative and Absolutely Beautiful

Elisa was very knowledgeable and was great tour guide. The driver Costas was also very nice and funny. We learned about the way the grapes had to be grown and a lot about Santorini history. This was much more than wine tasting, We had seats reserved at the restaurant/bar and had a great view of the Oia sunset. Would definitely recommend. Heads up, there is a lot of walking :)

Great tour

It was very well organised. Our tour guide had a lot of knowledge from the island and the wine. The selection of the wineries/wines was very good and we got to enjoy sunset in Oía at the best bar to do that.

Hardly any wine or food given, but lovely tour guide.

Across the first 2 venues we had a 6 tiny splashes of 10-15ml of wine to taste which equates to 1 average size glass of wine, then 1 glass of wine in the final venue, so everyone in the group left the experience irritated after spending so much money and having 4 hours and only 2 glasses worth of wine at this high price of the tour. We also only had 1 tiny cube of chocolate and a small amount of some dried bread with cubes of cheese at one venue which isn’t enough when it’s a tour over dinner time. We had to stop and get some dry pastries to our own expense on the way to the final bar. We also had to spend to get our own drinks because there was such little alcohol included in the tour. The final venue we expected either another wine tasting or a cocktail included as it’s advertised as a cocktail bar, however we were told we were only allowed one tiny small sized glass of wine at the final bar. The tour guide was amazing, she was funny and knew everything about the area and the wine, it was no fault of hers, only the fault of whoever organises the tour and the amount of alcohol and food available for this high price. We would like money back for the tour based on only receiving a total of 1 average glass of wine and 1 small glass and limited food for the high price, however none has been given.

Great way to get to know Santorini

This winetasting was so much more than expected. Not only did we taste a variation of amazing local wines; our passionate and funny tourguide Lilly told us a lot about the history of the island. She really showed us around. A very nice way to ‘experience’ Santorini. And don’t forget to buy Kamaritis!

Good wines and amazing view

The tour was very informative. Learned a lot about the way wine is grown and made. The sunset view in Oia was amazing. The spot reserved for us was perfect.

Lovely tour around the island with nice wines!

We got very conveniently picked up at our hotel and we had a lovely tour of Santorini with our guide named Elisa. She was fluent in English and very energetic which keeps you going throughout the day. After 2 stops at wineries and a wine museum the day ended on one of the nicest places to see the sunset in Oia. At the end my girlfriend and I really recommend this tour especially if you like wines but also if you want to see the island and have a really good day. Thank you Elisa for this amazing day. It was one of our highlights of our trip!

Cancelled Last Minute!

Really disappointed with this company! Was informed BY EMAIL that the tour was cancelled ONE HOUR before pick up. When calling I was advised that the cancellation was due to minimum participants not met. Had they given me more notice I could have booked something else. Apparently the 24 hour cancellation policy does not apply to them. Although a full refund is in process this does not make up for the wasted time. Be wary if booking with this company! My advice.. book elsewhere. Not recommended!

Stunning and great value

Our wine tour was one of our highlights of our trip. Our tour guide was lovely and very knowledgable. The sunset cocktail bar we ended our trip in was stunning and by far one of the best spots on the island. I would highly reccomend this tour!!

Santorini wine tour

Had a great wine tour with Magdalene. Visited some very nice wineries, enjoyed the wine museum and then having the reserved seats for the Oia sunset was really special. There was also a walk through to the blue domes that we got one our best photos. Our tour was made made really great by Magdalene's fun and enthusiasm. She takes a great photo and has some great tips for things to do and getting around Santorini. Recommended.

Superb

Joanna absolutely makes this the best tour, Her enthusiasm & knowledge of the island also makes the whole experience great value for money, the photo opportunities with breathtaking views from the excellent Venetsanos Winery are simply amazing, the tour was indeed very informative and the wines excellent, from here it was onto The Wine Museum, where once again a great tour was given, & a further selection of wines to sample (has a great gift shop on site also) from here the Tour took us to the final & for me most special part of the day was to see ...The Sunset from a little bar on a cliff top in Oia (where tables were reserved with a glass of wine & nibbles) for our guided tour to catch what really is the most amazing Sunset well us & many hundreds of others, but who cares.. it was simply Superb

Amazing Time with Joanna!

This wine tour was so much fun! Our guide Joanna was amazing and so knowledgeable. We were picked up in a nice van from our hotel and taken on an air conditioned ride from winery to winery. Joanna really keeps you engaged and encourages you to have a great time. She is also a mini photographer and took some amazing pictures. The amount of wine we drank was far more than expected. This tour is definitely worth doing. Hands down one of the best tours we went on. She even took us to a great spot to watch the Oia sunset with more wine! Only downside is we just opened some wine glasses we purchased at the wine museum and they are USED with tons of water stains on them. We picked new ones off the shelf and I watched him put them back. I assumed he was getting other new glasses to wrap, nope gave us some very cloudy dirty looking glasses. I wish I would have opened them while I was there. Its upsetting since I collect glasses. So beware. Other than that this was the perfect tour with the best guide. And a great way to see the sunset without being crowded. Yamas!!!

Best Wine Tour!!

This wine tour is worth every penny, you get to see two amazing winery’s and some beautiful view points, you are taken around in a luxury bus and collected from your hotel conveniently. Joanna is the perfect tour guide, she is knowledgable, fun, friendly and attentive, she makes the experience far more then a wine tasting. If your looking to see the beauty of the island, taste some fantastic wines, learn some interested facts and be entertained and looked after by your guide, then this wine tour has everything for you. World Class tour! :)

Had no expectations but was extremely pleased and surprised by Joanna Gaitanou. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us exclusive access to the best view in Santorini. Would recommend to visit Santorini just for this tour :)

One name, Joanna Gaitanou! By now you have probably seen that name in other reviews, and for a very good reason! Joanna takes the best care of her guests, and she’s sort of a big deal on the island. She gets you into the coolest spots, with the best views, and does a wonderful job of giving history and information all about Santorini and the wine life! She also makes sure her guest get the best pictures! She gets you views and back drops like you see in magazines or that insta-famous people take. Her energy is contagious, and it’s inevitable to have a good time. This was my girlfriends excursion pick, and I was the only man in the group, but couldn’t of had a better time! MEN, DON’T BE AFRAID OF THIS ONE, ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY! That’s coming from a guy who enjoys brewery tours haha!

The Best Thing We Did in All of Greece!

My husband and I did the sunset wine tour while on our honeymoon in Santorini and all I can say is book this tour! What an experience their sommelier Joanna gave us. The first winery she takes you to she teaches you all about the history of making wine in Santorini which is actually really cool. She will tell you anything you want. She gives you nice tastings and gets you a little buzzed. The wine at that winery was amazing. Than you go to the most beautiful winery and sit on a cliff overlooking all of Santorini and sip wine and eat cheese plates. Than she takes you to oia for the sunset and she has a table reserved for you right next to the famous windmill. There you enjoy more wine and cheese plates while you watch the most amazing sunset. She took us around oia showed us all the good picture spots took amazing pictures of us (she’s a bit of a photographer to). Best tour ever, Joanna gave us an amazing experience!

More than just a wine tour

Very enjoyable tour sampling some of Santorini’s finest wines, but what really set this tour above others was our lovely and passionate tour guide Joanna Gaitanou. Being a Sommelier and a passionate Greek who is proud of Santorini and it’s wine history gave us a great insight into all of the wines as well as other fact of Santorini. Joanna spoke excellent English which made the experience much easier to understand and our day was filled with fun, laughter and great memories. We highly recommend Joanna as a guide as her wealth of knowledge and local contacts gave us a great day/evening to remember. Thanks again Joanna your were awesome!!

Best Trip

Our tour guide Joanna Gaitanou was amazing! She has a soul that lights up a room. She is knowledgeable, kind, sweet, funny, and helpful! Remarkable tour!

Joanna was our guide and she was absolutely amazing ! She was very knowledgeable and knew the answer to every question about wine, wine making, the history of Santorini and Santorini as a whole. The sunset watching in Oia was the cherry on top. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Superbe tour de découverte.

Une Guide (Amini) très professionnelle dont les commentaires sont très intéressants sur Santorin et son histoire ainsi que les différents sites visités (Pyrgos, Emporio, Mont Profiti Ilia, ...) Une halte Déjeuner les pieds dans l'eau/baignade (2 heures) sur la plage noire de Perissa. Une visite et dégustation de vins chez Koutsoyannopoulos dont le fameux vin Kamarilis...un délice. .

Super après-midi

Super visite avec différents dégustations de vin dans 2 endroits et pour finir un autre vin avec coucher de soleil sur Oia. Une prise en charge de l'hôtel et une guide super gentille et agréable. Parle anglais et un peu français. Je recommande

Muy buen tour en el que conoces un poco más del vino de Santorini y su historia. Joanna increíble guía, te hace disfrutar cada momento y lo hace entretenido. El lugar al que nos llevaron a ver la puesta de sol no podía ser mejor. La mejor vista y sin gente. Muy recomendable, todos hasta mis hijos pequeños lo disfrutaron.
