Lindos Fast Boat

Really good, fast boat, comfortable. Had also booked the fast boat to Symi, but unfortunately had to cancel. The website had no info on how to cancel, nor was the email response very helpful. Luckily I was satisfactorily sorted out on the phone. Maybe this is something Rhodes Sea Lines could improve on. The trip however was very good.

Best way to get from Lindos to Rhodes

The journey was just as expected, left on time as was return journey ,boat comfortable and quick so overall met our needs

Great way to get to Lindos

It was really easy to book this on line, where you pay a €10 deposit and not the full amount. We chose this because we didn’t want the swim stops and it was a lovely way to get to lindos quickly rather than take a taxi. The boat can get a wee bit bumpy, so you may want to take precautions if you suffer from motion sickness. It was well organised and left promptly- very promptly. So if they tell you the boat leaves at 16:10. It will leave at that time with or without you! So make sure you’re there in plenty of time

Fun and fast

Great trip. Just enough time to walk to the top to see the sights and explore the town. The boat was fast and windy (in a good way!)

Great fun boat trip

Excellent boat trip, one hour to Lindos, 4 hours free time in Lindos then hour back, we walked up to acropolis, stunning views. On way down went into little streets and shops. Fun day out. And the boat trip was great fun.

Enjoyed the fast boat to Lindos along the coast from rhodes town

Lovely fast boat to gorgeous Lindos ftom rhodes town. Very comfy seats in boat - was a little cool on the way out and we were all supplied fleeces - which came in really useful. We were looked after! Stopped for a swim in the sea on the return journey and even supplied the long floats to those that were less confident swimmers like myself. Great views of coast - particularity on the return journey. Def recommend this trip.

Short and efficient day trip to Lindos

Prompt and efficient service. Make sure you go on the right side of the boat to lindos for best coastline views and the left side for the return. Arrived early for both departures (30 mins before) to check in and be at the front of the queue to get first pick of seats on the boat. A recommendation to enhance the experience would be to provide some commentary along the journey explaining the history and areas we were passing. Would recommend for anyone wanting to experience and visit Lindos in a few hours..

Speedy trip and just the right time to explore

Plenty of time to explore lindos with 4 hours and a speedy trip there and back, even provided fleeces if you were cold and a pacamac as it started to rain. All in all a good day out.

Holiday in Rhodes

My husband and I had a fabulous holiday in Rhodes. We stayed at the Bel Air in Ixia. Hotel was excellent. We had a an Executive room overlooking the pool and the beach. Food was great something for everyone. Room was cleaned every day and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend the hotel and Rhodes. Will be returning without a doubt.

Great opportunity to see more of the island

Wanted to see as much of the beautiful island as we could on our trip to Rhodes and wasn’t disappointed on this trip. Offered fleece jackets as it was a little windy. Beautiful views easily visible from the top. Assisted both on and off the boat before being left to explore the village and beach. Little shops and restaurants dotted through the narrow streets and everyone is so friendly! Lindos itself is quite steep so wear trainers for walking and take sandals if you want for the beach. The sea is crystal clear and warm. Ride home we sat downstairs under cover so others could enjoy the view we had already seen. Would definitely do again!

Lovely day out

Great fast journey, the boat was clean and new, seats were very comfortable and the destination was beautiful! Worth going on this cruise if going on holiday to rhodes!!!

Beautiful boat trip!

Transfer to and from hotel really good, George the driver very friendly. Smooth boat trip, sea was so calm. Walk up to Acropolis was well worth it to see the amazing views and beautiful historical site. Lindos is a pretty place with beautiful beaches, plenty of souvenir shops, lovely restaurants; good food. Highly recommend!

Great trip to Lindos

Excellent service, fast boat, great trip to Lindos. Plenty time to have lunch, walk up to Acropolis and then have a swim before returning. Also a swim stop on the return trip at a lovely bay.

Unforgettable boat trip.

We (4 friends celebrating turning 50 this year) loved this! Pulling out of port, and onto the ocean with the balmy sea air was so refreshing and relaxing. We travelled to Symi, where the 3 hour stop flew in. The town is quirky and beautiful, the locals seem friendly and curious, despite having flocks of international tourists descend each day). Will never forget people watching in the harbour, while enjoying the sun reflecting off the water, and shoals of wee fish hiding under the boats. It cost €5 per person to be picked up from our hotel in an air conditioned minibus with others going on the trip. This made getting to the correct place in town a breeze. I accidentally left my handbag on the buss on the way off at the end of the day. It was returned to me fully intact (all money, cards etc) by the team the next morning. Would recommend this team.

Great transfer to Lindos

Easy to find on the harbour. Comfy seats and refreshments available on board. Clean facilities. If you want direct transfer only I would recommend this

Nice ride!

Boat was spacious and the one hour ride each direction was smooth and relaxing. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Only thing better would be a bit more time in Lindos, but would go again and recommend to others!

Lindos adventure

Was a great day from start to finish just didn’t have enough time in lindos to explore the food we had at diyonysos was fantastic

Fab!

Competitively priced and very easy to book online. Clear instructions for arrival at port. Very friendly staff. Left on time and a really good journey to Lindos, although we didn’t realise we were stopping at Faliraki for a pick up, BUT, it was super speedy and didn’t effect the journey. Went back to the boat at the allotted time and boarded quickly and easily. We could have swam off the back of the boat whilst it was moored in Lindos. We were on a ‘swim stop at Tsambika bay’ trip on the way back to Rhodes old town and this definitely didn’t disappoint. We were able to jump from the front of the boat, or use steps to get off the back of the boat. Floats were there to be used too. Would highly recommend 😊

Fast and Fun

Definitely the ride was half the fun. Great crew and great company on the boat. Nice lunch and shopping in Lindos as well. Pick this over any standard boat run to Lindos.

The very best of Rhodes

We used this service on 22 July 2023, the day of the Rhodes inferno. Sailed in the morning from Rhodes to Lindos. Comfortable craft, friendly crew, lovely sailing. The fires took hold meaning we had to be evacuated by road in the evening as our boat was commandeered by maritime police to rescue people on beaches. The boat staff came and found us, brought us home with courtesy and efficiency. Thank you so so much. 5 stars.

Great experience

Overall a really pleasant experience, faster boat as described, great seating and comfortable which is a must! So smooth that me and my partner fell asleep on the way there and back haha! Lovely views from what we saw, allowing 4 hours to explore as promised, even after a delayed start. Would highly recommend and would book again.

Great Boat Trip

This is a very nice trip and it is as advertised. It is basically just a boat trip to Lindos and back. The boat is comfortable and the crew is nice although there is not much interactions. Check the details as some of the trips offer a stop on the return back to Rhodes for a quick swim. The cove was protected and the water very clear. Where they stop it was too deep to see anything at the bottom. I guess you could swim closer to shore but just floating in the water was good enough for us. We were on a cruise ship and had a hard return time and they returned literally to the minute of the advertised time. Overall, well worth the money, the views along the way are nice and Lindos is a great place to spend the day.

Great trip

Such a great trip and stopping to swim on the way back was an excellent touch. The trip was quick and allowed us to see a lot more of the island. We had a few hours to explore Lindos which was super fun.

Excellent Boat Ride

Excellent door to door service and the boat ride was excellent. I would highly recommend the Rhodes to Lindos trip, well worth the money.

Good day but short

It was definitely longer than an hour, very windy too but not anyone fault. Trip could be longer. We still had good Time, lindos is beautiful just very little time especially waiting for the ticket to acropolis. We got let down by the company on the followed day and trip to symi due to bad weather and we had to beg for our deposit back. We decided to go with different company and the weather was absolutely gorgeous

A great day out

Great trip, staff were really friendly and well organised. It was a hot day and there was plenty of shade if you wanted it. I was a bit worried when I read people were getting wet but that wasn't our experience. We had 3 1/2 hours in Lindos which was enough for us. There was a stop on the way back for people to jump from the boat and a quick swim.

Great lindos trip and swim in cove

Great views and stopped for a swim in lovely cove on the way back to lindos. Lindos definitely worth the visit.

Thrilling boat trip!!! Highly recommend

So much fun on this boat with the sea spray soaking us all. Staff on board were extremely helpful.when boarding and leaving the boat. Lindos was ,disappointing as very packed and somewhat scruffy.Tavernas serve good food. Not much there except trek up to. The Acropolis if you are super fit in the heat!!

Trip cancelled on very short notice

One can only hope that this was an exception. We were on a cruise that stopped two days on Rhodes and booked the Rhodes Sea Lines high speed boat to Lindos for the second day. On the day before we were scheduled to go, we received notice that the operator had cancelled the tour with no explanation. We didn't have enough time to book another tour for the next day.

Lindos Trip Cancelled the Night Before

UNRELIABLE. We booked the Rhodes High Speed Boat Trip to Lindos and paid our deposit on April 23. On May 7, the night before the trip to Lindos, the company cancelled. No explanation. The company left us without transpiration to a highlight of Rhodes.

Great experience even though the boat was only 1 way

Everything that could go wrong did, however it was still a great trip. The boat broke down on the trip to Lidos, leaving us bobing around for an hour. Communication could have been better from the crew however they were dealing with an engine that was billowing smoke. After about an hour we limped into Lidos harbour and the owner spoke us and we were given the choice of a coach back to Rhodes or we could stay see Lidos and get a coach back at 5. A bad situation was handled very well. Full refunds were given and it was out of there control. Lindos was great to visit, don't miss the acropolis even though it's hike. Plenty of winding streets to get lost in, and enough time given to explore.

Boat trip

Unfortunately on the day the boat engine malfunctioned. Lots of smoke but no real danger. Felt safe throughout. Full refund given and laid on a bus home. To be honest I was fair entertained with the drama and enjoyed the day immensely. Despite the breakdown I would use this company again for boat trips.

Great journey

The actual boat trip. Fast large boat, twin engines plenty of space, shaded seats if required. They do provide fleeces if cold.

Fine but expensive & expect 1:15 to Symi

Fine but expensive. The boats seem to look faster than they are with racy bucket seats to make it look like is going to be a wild ride but unfortunately it isn’t. Advertised as 1 hour to Symi but expect 1:15 and it’s noisy for the speed it does go at.

Awesome way to get to symi quick

Booked this as wanted more time to spend on the island. Company arranged for us to be collected from hotel and was sent txt with a time to be ready. Dropped off at boat. Clean toilet on boat. Staff all friendly. Trip ran smoothly. Would reccomend definitely. Thanks again

Amazing Day

The boat was fast, clean and the seats comfortable. There was no interaction with any crew during the hour long trip either way but it really wasn't required so no problem. The return trip was choppier and we all got splashed a good amount which just added to the fun for everybody. The view from our seats up top were stunning the entire way. Lindos itself is just breathtaking and so full of history you feel quite swept up in it all. The walk up to the Acropolis is hard going on a scorching day but is totally worth the effort when you reach the top. You can go by donkey if you are okay with that, we were not. We rewarded ourselves on our return to the bottom with the most incredible sea food platter and a bevy at one of the harbour restaurants. The whole day was amazing and unforgettable.

Not the greatest experience

So first of all we had no safety instructions and if they had life jackets on board I didn't see them. There are toilets on board but no food or drink so make sure you take some. We booked a trip to Lindos where we were promised 4 hrs there. We arrived at 1230 after leaving at 11am and was told to be back on board for 3pm. This was hugely disappointing as we had to be very quick to see the Acropolis and then grab lunch. Because of this we could not see the blue bay or visit Lindos town. We then stopped for half an hr swimming where about 7 or 8 people went in the sea. It became clear then to myself and others this was not the trip we booked. This company offers a 3 hr trip and a 4 hr trip. When we arrived back at Rhodes we were about to question when we were all given discount cards. This wasn't any good to us as we had other excursions booked before we go back home. After persuing it further with one of the ticket sellers we got told to speak to Mick. He immediately got defensive and almost accused us of lying and at one point made the assumption that the other 9 or 10 people were related to us 🤦. Luckily we all stuck together and we got a compromise of getting 10 euro back each. To me the money isn't or wasnt an issue it's the time missed to make memories and visit places we had in our bucket list. Sadly we can't say we ticked those off and is unlikely we ever will until perhaps sometime point in the future we get chance to come to Rhodes again. More annoyingly was the comment by Mick of you've only lost an hr. That isn't the point, my point above is.

Don't pre-book and pay in advance

Pre-booked and paid this, when we turned up on the day was told it was cancelled and advised to contact the office regarding a refund. To this day we never got refunded that was 21 June 2022 still waiting.

Water taxi

It is a means to quickly get you to your destination. I did not hear any safety instructions given, not sure if they had life jackets. I didn’t think of it until the nest day when instructions were given or I would have asked. The ride was smooth even though it was a windy day. We went to Lindos which is beautiful, we did get lost among the shops and wound up at the wrong beach, fortunately a restaurant owner gave us a little hand drawn map to show us the beach on the other side of the mountain. You have to pay for chairs and umbrella.

Fantastic from start to finish

Brilliant trip, exactly as promised. Hassle free, comfy seats On boat and Lindos is spectacular We opted for a pick up at our hotel in Ixia and everything ran like clockwork. I would Highly recommend

Great boat trip to lindos!

Amazing boat trip to lindos!! Great boat which got us to lindos from Rhodes town in an hour! Had 3 hours to spend in lindos before departing. Perfect amount of time to have a look around and grab a spot of lunch! Would definitely recommend visiting lindos. It is lovely. The staff on the boat trip were great. Really friendly and helpful. Lovely to stop at a bay for a swim on the way back too! Would really recommend this boat trip. Lovely day out.

Great fun on the sea

We wanted to go to Lindos but didn’t fancy the bus. So a high speed boat seemed the next best thing. It was brilliant dancing along the waves at high speed taking in the Rhodes shoreline. We had plenty of time to look around Lindos before heading back to the boat. On the way back the boat stopped in a secluded bay and invited everyone to jump off and enjoy the warm sea water, I had no towel but stripped to my shorts (I am 60 btw) and jumped in, it was awesome and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. Only tip I could give is be careful where you sit because in some places you will get a lot of spray during the trip.

High speed boat to Lindos

We had a wonderful day taking the high speed boat. Lovely way to get to the island and spend a day. The staff were friendly and nice.

Excellent trip

Excellent timing, good communication, friendly staff. Well worth doing this trip! This was our highlight of the trip. 3 hours is plenty of time in Lindos! The sea stop is great, they gave floats to the less strong swimmers and kept an eye on everyone’s safety.

Worthwhile trip.

Clean, efficient service, left on time both ways. Lindos is amazing so definitely worth the trip and far more interesting than getting the bus. Only comment is it is not a one hour trip as advertised, it’s 90 mins both ways on the day we went.

Boat broke, but they still got us there

Boat had an engine failure just leaving Rhodes, so had to turn back. They coped well though and had buses on hand quickly. Bit later getting to Lindos but they handled it well, and we all got a refund and still had the day out in Lindos.

Unlucky boat trip

Boat had technical issues after 15 minutes and returned to harbour. Full on the spot refund given, with the choice of a free return bus journey to Lindos if preferred. Unlucky, but these things can happen. However, it was dealt with professionally.

Choose this company! Great service

Boat is super comfortable and clean - comfortable seating and very quick. A great experience and definitely worth the fare . Would use again
