There are so may worst things on earth. One of them is Meher Retreat. Charging 800+GST and food is on worst quality. They mentioned horading as pet park but only Rabbit, piggeons are ther. Why are you fooling guys? Nothing is interesting there

Best spot for 1 day outing

Overall, it is a good experience and, a suitable place for team bonding activities. There are plenty of areas to play and arrange activities for the team. It is also a good place to go with family and friends for 1 day picnic

Good trip

Place is very nice. I suggest Food quality requires some improvement..very nice hurda party etc. Must visit atleast once.

Poor Quality Food

Services are awesome,truly. But Food quality was very Very poor especially for lunch and high t snacks.

Can be better experince

Overall it is good for Family outings and enjoyment, but few things i have noticed here.... *Food quality can be better, *Kid's activity items not proper should add more and better ways. *A high level of sports activity for adults is needed. Otherwise, the surroundings are lush green, it is so good for everyone. Thank you so much.

Best place

Really we enjoyed a lot. Their service is very good. I like this place. We would definitely like to come here again.

Very unmanaged property

Very unmanaged and dangerous for kids as merry go round with duck was broken and my kids fell down hurting finger and legs.

A below average place

It was a day trip for us. Food hygiene not maintained there, flies were all over the place in breakfast, and people serving were not caring for the same. Lunch was not served hot. Swimming pool was not maintained at all, and too too much crowd for a small place. We could see diaper near pool, people not in swim wear all over the place with no restriction. Also lots of mud near pool. I would say a below average place to spend your weekend.

Hygienic and well maintained place. Good food, lots of space with greenery. Relaxing experience. Worth the money

Fun day out

This place is village-themed and has a lush green area which gives relief and peace to visitors. Ideal place to visit with friends and family. Good for corporate events too. There are a lot of activities one can do. Cycling is very good and is available at extra cost. bullock cart ride is good. pet zoo is also worth the visit. Village setup they have created is very good. We did not get time to enjoy hurda party, but I have heard it is good. Visit to lake will be fruitful when there is a lot of water. You can also purchase vegetables and plants from the nursery. You can also enjoy outdoor games such as cricket, badminton, football etc. Food is pure veg but quality is superb. They provide buffet breakfast (although limited items, but fulfilling), buffet lunch (must try: buttermilk) and hi-tea. In addition, you also get unlimited supply of sugarcane juice. Car parking is also appropriate. It is a 1-1.5 hour drive from Hadapsar. You can opt for day picnic or night stay, both are good.

One day full enjoyment

Nice place for full day picknic, adults and kids can enjoy full day. Nice breakfast, lunch, and high tea along with unlimited sugarcane juice. Tractor ride, bullcart ride, boating, swimming and rain dance. One hour magic show after Lunch. Children can enjoy all activities.

Nature's Delight

Amazing place close to nature. Must visit for relaxing experience away from city hustle bustle. Kids really enjoyed it!

Average picnic spot

Good lunch, ample parking. Breakfast menu and evening snacks menu were not good. Pet zoo is almost nothing, there is no body to guide at the pets area. They should give a stop at the lake for people who want to enjoy there for sometime. Rain dance area is too dark and lot of shadow causing little extra cold. Worst thing managed was swimming pool, no dress code, anybody was simply getting in the pool with what ever clothing, jewelry, makeup they had on body. Absolutely mess and dirty conditions. It is a big bath tub and not a "swimming" pool.

Lots of improvements and discipline needed.

Morning breakfast and afternoon lunch was overall good. Some items very tasty, but some lacking a lot. Should be improved upon But evening Hi-Tea had nothing, only Bhel. And that too on a Sunday. Very bad this. Boating ride is very small and not interesting at all. Swimming pool and rain dance are the saving grace. They announced that swimming costumes are compulsory, but many were jumping in with their clothes on - not in good taste. Overall a good experience - but only till lunch. After that was very difficult passing time. Activities are very limited.

Average .. nothing great

Food is average..crowded over weekends .Do not go on hor days . I have visited Prathamesh a similar retreat .. which was far better than this

A Day well Spent

Our recent visit to Meher Retreat was a very Good experience ...we enjoyed being there its a well planned Retreat with lots of Natural beauty ....we enjoyed boating ,cycling and Rain Forest and viewing of the surroundings from the watch tower The activities are well organised The host for karoke sang melodious songs which brought a smile to the listeners. It was a very pleasant experience for all.

don't go on hot days

Its fun..but food is not very great. Its veg and the menu is not very very great. Its fun but u shud have time whole day..else u will miss out many things.

To much promise in...

To much promise in advertisement. Small area with limited facilities. Ticket book by Viator was not recognize initially took 45 min to get entry by showing transaction. People without mask and to much crowd food quality so so. Take care

Doing nothing is really tough in the busy world

Outing with a difference. Need a break from work from home and get out of house, yet need to avoid doing the regular stuff of mall visit, theme park visit with costly rides, will recommend the place. A reasonable drive of about an hour, gives your car an outing too. Situated near a man made lake, a stone throw away from Pune. Passing through the lush green farm land, a small rough road, reaching the place is enchanting. Expectations need to be kept to minimum and avoid comparing with Malls or resorts and you will end up enjoying the experience. Need to feel the experience with an open heart, enjoy the simple charm of sitting underneath a tree, eating simple traditional food with a cup of tea (coffee has too much milk). Doing nothing is tough for people like us who intend to be occupied all day through, thus recommend to be ready to actually laze around and train brain that you do not have anything to do except for the rides, boating or walking around. At the most there is sleeping on a 'charpai' under the shade of a tree. An experience one will feel like having again just to rejuvenate yourself, recharge and be ready for another week of slogging.

Pathetic. Waste of time and money with health hazard.

Worst experience ever. We booked this destination as it portrayed itself as being clean and safe after the pandemic. Another destination was full so we resorted to this one. Information on their website seemed to say that it's a safe place for kids and families. And the amount charged seemed to suggest that. So we did an internet booking. However, things were different when we got there. We started with the breakfast where there was no social distancing, sanitising or masks by any of the guests. Kids were pulling bread from the tray at will. Some guests just barged into the queue saying they were one family. We had to share the table with another family whose health history is unknown. There were around 2000 people in the resort at that time and many still coming in. We waiting for boating as our kids were adamant. Here there was a huge rush and no order. It was like boarding a local train and no one seemed to care of others. One family even refused to alight from the boat saying they needed another round. The tractor to lake was crowded and we did not want to take a chance. Then the bullock cart ride too was overcrowded. We a family of five were forced to split into 2 carts with other families when we just disagreed. Then some kid pushed my son during rain dance so we left that. By lunch there were more guests and lunch was self service. Yes after this dreadful pandemic. People were picking chapatis and putting it back. So we decided to eat our sandwiches and leave. Just the paid pedal go-kart is what kids could do. We left the place at 2 disappointed. So to conclude, it was cheating. Waste of time, money and exposure to people who didn't seem to care about what families experienced during the pandemic. No one was wearing a mask except for staff who did their best but couldn't deal with the enormous crowd. There are better places near Pune who limit the number of guests, provide a seperate table and ensure families are distanced, ample food and water for visitors and ensuring that everyone gets a chance to enjoy the facilities on offer at almost same or lesser price. Just AVOID this place.

Budget friendly picnic

Meher retreat Nice visit .. 1. baby friendly , bit difficult for stroller but very few patches otherwise very good. 2. large area, lots of activities 3. fresh food, sugarcane juice awesome, hurda awesome , organic farm fresh food 4. cleanliness and hygiene top class,  bathrooms are also upgraded recently so clean 5. staff very good and friendly disadvantage: 1. additional chatai would help , bit more baby friendly for strollers and quiet areas for naps can make this awesome...

Avarage

Breakfast good in taste , but you have to had it as early as possible as late breakfast you dont remain hunger for lunch. as i feel they have to include some more activities as it will be more interesting. lots of food but one stomach as didnt manage. i had one mistake, i had full (double)breakfast at 11.45 am and literally didnt enjoy lunch and hurda, evening snakes. they will give more choice o karaoke singer. swimming tank but not so big. also they need to put speaker and music system there. if they build wave pool would be really awesome

Value for money

We visited Meher retreat Pune for Hurda treat On Jan 2020 first week. Pros - 1. Lot of open space for long walk and overall very big area resort 2. Excellent food including breakfast, Maharashtrian lunch, evening snacks and special mention for hurda treat 3. Excellent way of giving service and management. Everything is organised and clean. 4. 800 per person and 550 for kids, but value for money and worth visiting 5. Kids enjoy all activities including bullok cart ride, boating, tractor ride, play area, swimming pool, go carting and much more 6. Nobody can get bored here as so many activities are there. Full on entertainment for people from all age groups. 7. timing 9 to 6 falls short to perform all activities here. 8. Clean toilets Cons - 1. Bit crowded on weekends

Worst destination for trip

Worst ever experience At meher retreat!! The place is so crowded and a lot of chaos..such a loud music.. and also announcement is made on bad speakers which irritates people and not even heard well.. no proper management and staff is mannerless.. they do not behave well with customers.. food is not good too. I never write such bad review for any place.. but really couldn’t help but write.. we wanted to spend a peaceful enjoyable day but this place turned a disaster.. they have good set up .. but that is just for attraction for customers..

Wonderful time at Meher

I visited this place yesterday with my friends. We reached early before their opening time which is 9-30am. They were kind enough to call the cashier immediately & allowed us to go in. We were served breakfast at 9-45. Then we took a tour of the property with their worker on foot. It's large 27acre property. There is a viewing gallery from there you can see Matoba lake.There are activities like Bullock cart & tractor ride. Paddle boat in the small canal. Swimming pool, rain dance etc. Lunch was sumptuous. Food was good & not spicy. Place is very clean.The staff is polite & helpful. But the owner couple is interesting & down to earth.We had Hurda(tender sorghum). They sell their organic farm produce as well at reasonable rates. At 4-30 we had tea & snacks. Overall had wonderful time.
