Wonderful Tour to Saxon Switzerland and Dresden with Andres

This tour was wonderful. Andre is by far the best tour guide that we have ever had, far exceeded our expectations. We learned so much from Andre - about the history of the Czech Republic, about Prague and about Dresden. The hike in Saxon Switzerland to the Bastei Bridge was wonderful. The lunch was excellent. The visit to Dresden was very interesting and informative. We had a wonderful day - and it was primarily due to the Andre's professional demeanor and the wealth of information he provided. We highly recommend this tour - and Andre is excellent!

Saxon Switzerland + Dresden with Ondra

Ondra was a fantastic guide. We had a fa tasting tour. He was on time picking us up from our airbnb. He then took us to the Saxon Switzerland national park. It was quite busy, but he knew all the ins and outs of optimizing the tour in such a situation. He brought us to all the best photo opportunities and took great photos of us. We then went to Dresden where he provided an outstanding walking tour with lots of historical information before setting us loose for some free time in the city. During the drives he provided a lot of interesting historical information. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour

Enjoyed going to the Bastei bridge. The weather was great and cool. It was a great chance to see this beautiful park and more of the countryside on the way to Dresden. Our guide was Vladimir and he did a great job. He worked hard to satisfy everyone on the van. Also, the food we had for lunch was wonderful. One of the best meals I have had on my trip. Highly recommend this tour and the lunch place.

Great combination of nature and history

Great combonation of nature and history. Tour guide was very good, weather was great too. But, be aware, you can never know who will be with you on the tour... unfortunately not something you or tour operator can control, just keep it in mind...

I had a delightful experience on this tour from Prague to Saxon Switzerland National Park and Dresden! Our guide Sam was absolutely wonderful, bringing the history of Dresden to life with vivid stories and expert knowledge. He also had a great sense of humor, keen to develop his jokes to amuse the participants, which was greatly appreciated. The selection of the restaurant for lunch was impeccable, offering delicious, fine salads and a great variety of local beers in a spacious and uncrowded setting. The professionalism of our guide truly stood out, making this combination of nature, culture, and history an unforgettable journey. Highly recommended!

Not to be missed

No 1 Sam our guide. He was spot on. Very conscious and patient with us being a bit slower going up and down the stairs when we were at the Basteii bridge which was absolutely a definite need to visit if in Prague. The scenery was spectacular. He took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch and being a perfect day weather wise we were able to sit outside. The food was delicious. Our tour of Dresden was informative and you got glimpses of what it must have been like before being nearly destroyed. Even Sam’s "jokes" gave us a laugh. A great day.

Convivial and smart trip !

I had a lovely day, enjoyed both the nature (the national park) and the culture/ history (Dresden tour) in a time efficient way. Lucky us having an excellent weather and Sam from Bohemian Adventures. Our tour guide is the nicest professional we ever met in Czech! I recommend!

A great trip with Bohemia Travel

We booked a last minute tour with Bohemia Adventures. From the moment our booking was confirmed, the communication with the company was very personalized and amazing. Our guide was Misu who did great job in managing our groups needs. Misu was knowledgeable and made our trip enjoyable. The lunch spot the company picked had awesome food. All in all, we will book our future trips with them. Needless to say the Van that picked us up was spacious, clean and provided with water and protein snacks.

Perfect Day Trip from Prague

We had an incredible day with Sam who took us to Saxon Switzerland and Germany. We got to see the Bastei Bridge and Dresden City - both of which have a ton of history which Sam eloquently shared. He is an absolute delight: knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and engaging. I can't say enough great things about how wonderful Sam made the day for the four of us (ages 55 to 20). Thank you to Sam for making it such a spectacular day!

Amazing time with great tour guide!

I had an amazing time, Raphael is a great friendly tour guide with extensive knowledge about the areas we visited. During the drive up, he told us the histories about landmarks we passed, as well as about Bastei Bridge and Dresden city. If you're a solo traveler, this will be a lovely trip too because he offered his company during the free time, which was very kind of him and I got to learn more about the reconstructed city! I highly recommend this trip and Raphael, you won't regret it.

Totally amazing day even though we couldn't spend any money !!

We had an amazing day with ondrau, we had a small group,very friendly, we were provided with lots of historical info which was good, we stopped in beautiful village for lunch which was delicious. Dresden was good although due to our own failings of not bringing euros (no cards accepted) we could not experience the Xmas markets to the full, totally our fault. A long day but amazing would highly recommend this tour. Not rushed, and ondrau was amazing even giving us euros for the loo.

Worth every penny. Literal perfect day!!!

This trip was unbelievable!!!! The day started with Warren picking us up at our hotel. We headed up to Saxon and the views were GORGEOUS. I could not believe my eyes. Warren was very knowledgeable and then took us to a yummy lunch. We then headed to beautiful Dresden and enjoyed the Christmas markets. I cannot recommend this enough! Perfect day. Worth every penny.

I had a great time touring Batsei Bridge and Dresden. Our tour guide, Warren, was super knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us get great pictures at different landmarks, explained the history along the way, and even shared great tips for upcoming cities on my itinerary. I would highly recommend this tour.

A Wonderful experience not to miss!!!

I will Highly recommend this tour with Bohemia Adventures. Everything was well planned and executed from hotel pickup, comfortable transportation, an interesting itinerary, good communication using WhatsApp prior to the tour, and a great lunch restaurant. Our guides, Ondrej Bens was very friendly, funny and informative. He took personal care of everyone in the group. The hiking was beautiful, and the pace was just right to enjoy the scenery without taking too long. A well-deserved 5 stars for sure.

Fantastic Day - Highly Recommend

This trip was absolutely fantastic and Rina, our tour guide, was perfect! Including Rina, there were five of us on the trip. We made a stop after approximately 1 hour into the trip so that we could all grab a drink, get some coffee, and go to the bathroom. It was just a short stop - perfect. We drove for about another hour to reach Bastei Bridge. I was initially concerned about my ability to keep up and make the hike, but it was an easy walk. The steps are rough and one has to be careful, but it’s totally doable. My older husband decided to sit it out and stayed behind on a bench while we explored. At no time did Rina hurry us along or make us feel rushed. Lots of time to take pictures and simply marvel at the beauty. And Rina explained what we were seeing. After a fantastic lunch nearby and a few minutes to look around that lovely town, we headed to Dresden. Rina gave us some history of Dresden and the buildings, then gave us free time to explore on our own. After another quick stop for refreshments and a bathroom break we headed back to Prague. The whole day was perfect. We met some lovely people and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. I would highly recommend this trip.

Beautiful nature hiking boat ride, amazing food

Anna was our tour guide, she made it fun she knew so much. She was helpful and polite and patient. We saw some amazing views and took a relaxing boat ride thru a gorge, hiked down a steep trail to the river and waterfalls. We had to hike back up so Anna was patient and we all took breaks until we made it up again. They were very kind and accommodating when it came time to pay- I had a little trouble but they were patient and reasonable. I Would recommend if you like nature and beauty and want to see more of Czech than just the city.

An amazing tour- well worth it!

Fabulous tour! We thoroughly enjoyed the day with the scenic beauty and historical facts relating to every location visited. Five stars to our guide, Matej- a walking encyclopedia with a great sense of humor. He made the experience 10 stars!

A wonderful Way to see saxony Switzerland and Germany

Vladimir was great. He took us to all the beautiful and amazing places. I am legally blind and was afraid that I would have a hard to getting to places but Vladimir and the other two couples help me so much! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone and everyone.

Lovely day in Germany

We went to see the Bastei bridge and Dresden and we had a great day! We saw some amazing views, had very tasty lunch and then we really enjoyed Dresden - it is a beautiful city with moving history. Our guide Rina was fun and knew a lot about all the places we visited.

A Great Trip With My Wife of 38.5 Years!!!

We had a very polite and knowledgeable guide named Vladimir. Pickup was on time right at our hotel. The group included a family of 4 from Singapore and a couple from Florida. The sights were fantastic and even a little rain did not hamper things at all. Lunch was perfect in a mountain inn with a great view! Thanks Bohemian Adventures!!

Great Day Trip

Great way to see Dresden and Saxon Switzerland National Park all in a day. Warren was a great guide and pointed out interesting areas along the way. He also gave us helpful suggestions on restaurants and other must-see areas. Be prepared to do a lot of walking in the park.

Enjoyed this day trip to Bastei Bridge and Dresden very much. There were 7 people on this trip including our tour guide, Kate. Kate was very knowledge and took good care of all the people on the trip. Started the trip on time as mentioned on the itinerary and was picked up from my hotel. Stopped at right times for toilet breaks/food. We were lucky with the weather being good, which made the travel feel even better. Bastei Bridge and the views from the place was amazing and it was not a difficult hike at all. From there we came back to a small town in Czech Republic (near the border of Germany and Czech Republic) to have lunch which was ready for us when we arrived. The highlight of the tour, for me, was the visit to the city of Dresden. Loved the walk across the town and Christmas market there. Plenty of shops in old town to pick up collectibles and city's famous 'Stollen'. Loved the vibe. All in all it was a lovely day out and I would recommend this trip.

Great hike

Really good for first time hikers and the scenery was amazing! We had Michal as our tour guide and it was such a fruitful time spent with him and the rest of the group as we learn more about the history of Prague and the various destinations.

Great tour, something different to do when in Prague

This tour was a good combination of nature and city tour. First is the nature part and since it requires a bit of exercise, an advantage is that you do not feel rushed if you have somebody with mobility issues with you. Second is the city part wherein you get ample time to go around the old town. I would not suggest to buy tickets on any museum because that will just be a waste since technically, you only have 1-1.5 hours to explore the city. In general time is not enough to explore but just good enough as a preview or to get an idea when you decide to go back next time. Just to note, Saxon Switzerland is better reached by car in which taking this tour is an advantage. I can only mention 2 flaws wherein one is that the tour guide who is with us is pretty new and it was his first day therefore he was very nervous. He is very nice and attentive but probably because of this nervousness, the information that we got regarding the places are not that much. Another flaw is that the drive seems to be long because from Prague we drove to Germany for the Saxon Switzerland and then for lunch, drove back to Czech Rep, and then drove back to Germany again for Dresden. In my opinion, too much time was spent on the drive alone. The food provided for lunch was great but I initially thought that the lunch place will be in Germany and did not expect that we will go back and forth. Other than that, it was a good tour.

Take this trip with Christina the guide for maximum enjoyment and value for the money

This trip was everything I hoped to be and more thanks to the most amazing guide and driver Christina and her excellent organizational skills, knowledge and flexibility. I went with my elderly parents so our guide showed great understanding and flexibility to accomodate them. Also, I cannot praise enough what a great driver she is. We experienced fog in the morning and evening yet always felt safe cause Christina is such a driving pro undeterred by weather conditions or type of the road (twisted hilly paths through woods or highway). The trip itself is so well organized. We had enough bathroom/coffee breaks when needed without that delaying the trip progress. Bastei Bridge Park was definitely the highlight and its beauty has to be seen to be believed. Lunch at Hrensko restaurant was fantastic too, great food. I had fish and my parents had gulash, both melted in the mouth. Also, don't miss to order rasberry lemonade. Absolute deleesh! Dresden City is a nice bonus but if you have to pick a tour take this one or just Bastei bridge Park cause the city has tons of construction which distracts somewhat from well restored historical center. overall, highly recommednable but tour guide really made the difference. I'm a frequent traveller who takes many tours wherever I go and I can honestly say Christina is the best guide I've ever toured with.

Amazing trip with Bohemia adventures' guide Christina.

This was an amazing trip. The views were so beautiful, we were lucky to have good weather so we could have seen all the great sights during the different hikes. The hike was mostly easy, sometimes moderate hike and was done in a speed everyone was comfort with. Christina our guide was excellent, provided a lot of information on the locations and was very attentive to the needs of each of the travellers. We highly recommend people to take this trip :D

Magical experience..

Absolutely amazing day out...A must do when in Prague...Christina is incredible. A fantastic guide, full of information and showing a genuine passion for her country. Collection and return arrangements went smoothly. Snacks and water provided. Christina made us all feel comfortable and was just wonderful.

Bastei Bridge, the view was amazing. Lovely people and supportive staff. Christina is such a high spirit and amazingly positive person. Everything explained well and managed nicely. The planning was good and we made it on time perfectly.

Great Change of Pace

Warren was a great guide. It was so nice to be out in the park hiking. As beautiful as Prague is, Saxon Switzerland Park is a great reminder of how much more nature holds.

Amazing at all points!

This is the kind of trip that fits all ages. The trip was one of the highlights of our european tour this year and we are glad we ordered this trip at Bohemian Adventures. Tisa rocks and Bastei Bridge are an amazing find and one of our favorites. The trip to Dresden however is a sweet surprise. What a beautiful, charming city with mind-blowing architecture. We did not know this before we took the trip so this was really a tour that you can recommend to those who want to travel to Prague and wanted to check another city that is nearby and worth seeing. Last but not the least, our tour guide Warren is amazing, cool and really good at what he does. He gave us a lot of new information but not so much that you will begin to be overwhelmed. The pacing of his tour plan is just right and he adjusts to our group. We were travelling with 3 seniors, although they walk fast and always catch, Warren politely waits. For me who is into photography and takes thousands of photos at every interesting point, Warren also will enthusiastically suggest the interesting angles and landskapes one could best take a photo of. He also took with him his adorable and very smart daughter Caroline that also added to the nice and enttertaining ambience and gave us tips and took photos of me and my husband. Bohemian Saxon Switzerland Experience

To say that the trip this company has provided under the leadership and guidance of Monika, would be the understatement of the century!! Apart from the insane sights that were promised and delivered on a platter was most over whelming and literally left me speechless half way through the trip! Monika just knew how to manage our group with the comradery and insightfulness of a great leader and naturally led us into the sights just perfectly! This trip was perfectly described on their website and lived up to and past all expectations in the delivery of it! Not everyone knows how to deliver but they did exactly just that...on a platter:) PS, Jared who was in training at the time of my trip, certainly helped on this journey and he too has the makings of a great leader. Awesome Hiking Tour

Our guide Sabastian was amazing. He was on time for pickup and had water and snacks available. He provided us with interesting information during the drive to our tour location as well as on site. He made sure that we were doing well along the way as this was a hike that included both steep inclines and declines. He was friendly and easy to understand. The sites on this tour were fantastic - there was plenty of opportunity for picture taking and just enjoying the day. We had three site seeing stops on the way and another for lunch - The lunch was really good. I would highly recommend this tour. Well worth it!
