Fantastic food tour in Prague

Fantastic food tour in Prague with Soner, who was an excellent guide, who showed us around the Mala Strana area with a little bit of history thrown in too. All the food was delicious and it's great to find not-so-typical tourist places to eat. Soner was a delight who was passionate about the local food, would highly recommend the tour.

Great way to explore the local culture

Really surprised how much we enjoyed this. Thought we would be over-faced by the amount of food but it was just right and spaced out well. Jacob was very friendly and looked after us. It was nice to meet other travellers too.

Great local flavour!

Jakub took our group to some of his favourite spots - off the beaten track - and we really enjoyed a variety of local foods and drinks. He shared some fun stories and background on the foods as well as the history of different regions in Czechia. Highly recommended!

Poor customer service.

I booked this tour and needed to cancel. I contact secret foods and informed them that I would not be attending the tour. I understood that the cost was non refundable. I received an email stating that I would have a credit that can be used for different cities. I was leaving Prague and heading to Lisbon. I sent two emails about using the credit in Lisbon and this company never responded. I’ve used this Secret Foods Tours before and never had an issue with communication. My issue is that the company refuses to allow for me to used the credit that they offered. I didn’t ask for the credit. I understood that it was non refundable. I travel a lot and would have continued to use secret food tours but now I will not use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Fabulous Tour & Exceptional Tour Guide

Fabulous food tour and our guide Soner was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable, shared lots of interesting historical information as well as great information about Czech foods and culture. He took us to high quality restaurants where we enjoyed a wide variety of delicious Czech foods, beer and wine and we all had so much fun. Soner was very kind, took great care of us, provided recommendations for other Prague restaurants to try, and even shared some of his own recipes! It was one of the best tours I've been on. Thanks Soner for a fabulous tour!!

Great Tour, 100% Recommend

We had a great time on this tour! Our tour guide Soner was the best! He made us feel very welcome and it was great to have a local show us around and give us historical context to the area that we were visiting and the food we were eating. The area was great and the food was amazing -- super comforting and some of the best we've had while on our trip. Soner in particular was very knowledgeable and super friendly -- his personality alone was a big highlight for our trip to Prague! If you drink, definitely upgrade to the alcohol package!

Excellent culture experience !

We had an amazing time on the food tour. Soner was an excellent guide and knew so much about the country. As we walked pasted monuments he explained the history behind it and even the history or the food recipes. Food was delicious and authentic

Great tour with Martin

We went on a tour in the end of April. Martin was our tour guide. He definitely made the tour more enjoyable with his enthusiasm and great sense of humor. He was always open for questions and made sure that everybody did feel included. Highly recommend.

Secret tradition

Loved it :) it was so nice to walk around with a small group and enjoy Martins company, the history as well as the good food.. We have been to a Secret food tour in two other cities and it's becoming a tradition.

Must try food tour

Our friends and I had a great time eating and learning about Czech culture with Jakub! We loved all the food and drinks we tried. We highly recommend this tour to everyone. It’s a must to learn about a countries culture through the food. Had it not been for this tour we would’ve missed out on some great Czech cuisine as we tend to stick to ordering food that is familiar to us. More than just the food!

I loved this tour, even though Czech food is not the reason you come to Prague! Our guide Martin was very informative and interesting and gave us great insights into Czech life and the history of Prague. The Mala Strana area is extremely fascinating to wander through, with lots of old buildings, modern art and interesting stories. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this tour. We went on our first morning in Prague and it was the perfect introduction to this beautiful city. Soner was a great host - very knowledgeable, laid-back and inclusive. Secret Food Tours Prague...a waste of time with their customer service person

We had gone on a Secret Food Tour in Berlin. The guide, Francesco, was beyond wonderful. We decided to book a Secret Food Tour during our last day in Prague. The tour was to be private. I contacted Secret Food Tour in Prague for 3 days with specific time we needed. Then the person who finally answered was clueless and kept me and my 3 friends hanging for 2 additional days. She had no customer service experience and didn't appear to have any sense of time. We decided to ask our concierge for a recommendation and the tour group we used (PragueFoodTour.com) was great. Someone else contacted me to make it right from Secret Food...but it was too little, too late. I certainly didn't want to spend even more time on a vacation emailing and following up with them.

Our tour guide, Mark, was fantastic. We ended up with a private tour with just my husband and me and Mark customized the tour to our interests and preferences. He was a wealth of knowledge and a joy to spend a morning and a meal with!

Great food tour in Prague

Our food tour of Prague, with Soner as our tour guide, was just incredible. We had the best day. He was very knowledgeable regarding the food and overall history of Prague and the Czech Republic. The places we went and the food we ate was just terrific. I could not recommend this tour, and Soner enough. A great couple of hours well spent.

Informative and delicious food tour in beautiful part of town

Really fun food tour with our guide Soner (Sonny). He was quite informative and covered the history of Prague along with culinary history as we walked around and tasted a variety of Czech foods - really high quality dishes and really delightful!

We had a great time exploring the streets and trying food with Martin our guide. We didn't expect to also be getting so many facts and interesting pieces of information about the area so this was a definite plus. The food was lovely and Martin always made sure we were full enough with no pressure to make ourselves stuffed. Would recommend.

Secret Food Tour in Prague

Martin was an excellent, excellent tour guide. I must confess that I was not a huge fan of the food tasted on this Secret Food Tour of Prague - but that's likely attributable to the fact that I'm not keen on eastern European foods in general - or beer for that matter which is key to Czech wining and dining. The disappointment with food was greatly outweighed by the knowledge and politeness of our tour guide. Martin was extremely well informed about Czech history and the city of Prague so made the approx. four hours fly by.

Nice Experience, not for a Foodie

My mum and I enjoyed the tour as we got to see areas we hadn't seen yet which we could then go back and visit. Soner, our guide was lovely. The rest of the people on our tour were also friendly which made the experience relaxed. However, we would not recommend the tour for a foodie because the food itself was average and we ate tastier food in restaurants we found.
