Touring with Alexander was above and beyond our expectations. His extensive knowledge of beer and all things Prague was such a fun way to tour. Highly recommend!

Cool experience

Good way to see the city, while also enjoying a few beers. Our guide was entertaining and outgoing, which was excellent. We didn’t drink as many beers as advertised though.

Good Tour to try beer and see different parts of the city!

This Tour was really nice! We went to three different Stops and tried good beers! The guide Paul did a great job, telling us about the beer and some history facts about Prague. I would recommend this tour! The startig point was a bit tricky, but there was a man woh showed us the right way. Thank you again!

Great experience with Phil.

This is the third beer tour we’ve done in various countries and it didn’t disappoint. The American host - Phil - was really knowledgeable about the brewing process and the time whizzed by. We stopped at three places to taste. Two were very traditional and had been brewing for hundreds of years with the third a more more modern location where we tried a tasting flight of 10 beers in small glasses. We had a really good time and were out for around 3 and a half hours. Make sure you ask Phil about the difference between Czech Budweiser and American Budweiser. It’s a great story. Big thanks to Phil for an enjoyable afternoon.

Worth booking

Our very informative guide Phil was brilliant, he knew everything about Czech brewing, local history, he was engaging and very interesting. we went to 3 breweries, to drink not to watch the process. It was fantastic, though, some cheese and bread would have been even better, after 3 hours.

A really enjoyable way to spend the afternoon and learn more about beer

Great experience!

What a great tour! Our guide was Paul and he had us all laughing the whole time. Really interesting facts and we learnt a lot about both Prague and beer. Would absolutely recommend!

Pints with Paul

Paul (a.k.a. Gary) is certainly somewhat of a local legend in Prauge. At each brewery we were kindly welcomed by the barkeeps and Paul's natural charm and charisma was on display. He had us hanging on every word with his fun facts and wit. A few of the highlight quotes include “always look up”, “age is just a number” and “dark beer leads to huge…personality”. Would strongly recommend a Paul’s Pints tour of Prague.

The tour guide was phenomenal. She was engaging, knowledgeable about the microbrewing process and the City. Couldn’t have asked for any thing better.

A fun tour with beers

We had a Great time with Steve as our beermaster. It was a great and fun start for our weekend in Prague. The beers we teasted was good, and the places Steve showet us was very interesting.

Paul is a legend.

We booked Paul for our Bachelor Party. Great Person, very informative, spectacular Beer, magnificent jokes and very helpful advices. Goosebumps.

Paul is the best guide ever, He knows everything about the brewery process and can tell a lot during the walk in the city too. It was the best part of our stay in Prague.

Great way to learn about Czech history and beer

Very interesting tour of three breweries which we would have never found on our own! Tom was a fantastic tour guide, full of knowledge about the history of beer in the Czech Republic. The beers were very different at each place so you really feel like you are getting a variety of experiences. And they were all fantastic! A great way to spend an afternoon in Prague. Thanks Tom!

Pre-tour with South Mountain

Did this tour as a pre tour to South Mountain's Allied Air Campaign. Even though I had just flown in from the States a few hours earlier the guide was so interesting and engaging I had no trouble being entertained for the evening. Even found a dark beer that was palatable. Well worth the time and money. Easy pace and a friendly atmosphere.

Steve our tour guide was great. Good stories. Good history tidbits through out the tour and most importantly good beer spots.

Good way to spend an afternoon in Prague

This was an interesting tour which included a walk around Prague as well as the visits to the breweries. We would not have visited these on our own, so despite not normally doing this sort of organised tour, we were very pleased with it. Some snacks were included as well, and our guide was very informative and friendly.

Not a good tour

We were the only two on this tour and it was awful! Steve was our guide and he doesn’t know much about Prague. He does know about beer but the whole tour he told joke after joke after joke... He didn’t seem concerned at all that we were tired of his jokes. It was a very odd experience and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough!

Great beer tour

I took my dad to Prague for the weekend and was looking for things to fill the days. We read the reviews for the microbrewery tour and they were all very positive, so we booked up. We were not disappointed, we visited 3 small local breweries and sampled the beers they make. The tour guide who’s name I can’t remember (sorry), was excellent, very knowledgable about the whole brewing process and especially the Czech brewing process, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes their beer and wants a good few hours exploring how it’s all made

Fun tour

Booked this with my husband, we had never done anything like this before and would usually hate to go on any kind of guided tour but seen as this was about beer we gave it a go! It was fun and informative and we wouldn’t have been to any of those places had we not gone on the tour, nice to spend a few hours doing something different

Great way of spending an afternoon

Thoroughly enjoyed our time on the tour with our guide Steve. We were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour and Steve was very entertaining and informative both about the beers, and Prague in general. There was some walking, but not too much and just about the right amount of beer. Some food was included as well, which we were not expecting. We visited places we would not have found on our own so were very pleased with the tour.

Good tour

My husband and I took this tour and the beers and food at the breweries were all very good. Our tour guide didn't seem very passionate and a bit in a rush (which is why I'm giving 3 stars). I would recommend trying the tour because the food/beer were excellent; however, hopefully you all have a tour guide that is less rushed and more passionate.

Great tour!

My brother and I took this tour a friday afternoon, and I highly recommend it if your on a trip to prague! Our guide, Tom was fantastic, with great quality both in beer brewing, but also in general knowledge about prague. The places he took us had a good mix in different types of beer and history. Some of the beers where great, other places the beer was okey, but the history of the brewery weighted up. If you think you can visit the same brewery on your own, of course you can, but the guiding makes it a complete experience. I will tell all my friends to take the same tour!

This is a fun tour!

We enjoyed this tour immensely! Our guide was knowledgable and made the tour fun. We saw parts of Prague that we never would have seen had we not gone on this tour. Be sure to wear good walking shoes, however....

Very nice tour!

Me and my boyfriend booked a tour in the afternoon and had a wonderful time tasting beers and visiting three different micro-breweries! Thomas is an excellent guide, and as we were a small group on the tour (7 including Thomas) we got to hear a lot of funny stories and learn a lot about beer! We got to taste many different types of beers, and they were very tasteful. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague. We would do it again!

Entertaining and Informative

We had a small group on our tour. We stopped in 3 very different locations each with its own unique offerings. Our guide was very knowledgable and shared more information on beer production and consumption than I thought possible. We visited places we never would have found without this tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in beer, culture and/or history.

Excellent afternoon beer tasting!

Booked this tour through Viator after seeing the good reviews, and we weren't disappointed! Only 3 of us on it in the end along with Tom, and i think this worked out better as we were all able to have a proper chat, get to know each other and ask lots of questions that i think would be harder in a big group. We started off taking the metro to the furthest brewery were we tried 8 mini beers paired with the local delicious sausage, several were novelty flavours and seeing the fermentation process was very interesting. Next was a great Czech bar with long tables, live music and great dark beer in tankards which we all really enjoyed, followed by a brewery closer in the center which i dont think we would ever have found, tucked away in a shopping centre. All the beers were delicious, fantastic variety and Tom was very knowledgeable Really nice friendly guy who we felt we were just having a drink with rathen than being lectured to on a tour. He also recommended a few bars near our hotel which we tried and really enjoyed, along with giving us tips for what to look our for when we are looking for somewhere to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Very interesting tour with lots of beer!

My boyfriend and I did this tour on a Saturday afternoon with Tomas, and the tour group consisted of 11 people which was about right! Tomas was very knowledgeable of all the breweries and Czech beer. He had a lot of interesting information that we will now be taking away with us whenever we have beer in a pub back home!! At the first stop, we did a beer taster of about 8 different flavours of beer and Tomas had different information and back stories regarding all of them. We then went to another 2 breweries learning more and more on the way!! Overall, highly recommend, and definitely worth the price.

We started out on a trolley ride (uphill) to the first location-a relatively new (?20 years) microbrewery where Tomas provided a lot of information about components of beer, the differences between different kinds, and the Czech brewing traditions. There we each had a tasting of eight different beers presented in a wooden wheel holding the eight different glasses (see photo). Varieties ranged form pilsner to nettle, to banana beer. Something for everybody. After some time there where we also had some cheese and bread snacks to go with all the liquid refreshment, we headed out and made our way downhill (it was good to walk some of this off) to U Fleku, the oldest continuously operating brewery in Prague. There they had only one beer--a very unique and filling dark beer-and here they gave us each a whole mug. There was music in the place and a lot of happy people. Last we went to U Medvidku where there was a very enjoyable Czech lager. I seem to remember that this place dated back further than U Fleku, but had not been continuously operating as long. It was just a great tour with a small group so we could all interact with the guide and have our questions answered. My family appreciated Tomas’ dinner suggestion at a restaurant that was fairly close to our tour termination point, since after drinking beer all afternoon, we needed to consume some food. This tour is highly recommended. Just don’t tour and drive!</p>

We had a great tour with Eugine! We were a big group of colleagues/friends (21 people) and he still managed to get everybody interested and happy with his great knowledge and dedication not only about the beers but also about the city and culture. Would recommend this tour to anyone! Thank you!

<p>We liked our tour, we met some great folks from Sweden, who were also on the tour. This was a nice tour, not a pub crawl, so we got to taste some great beer, had some traditional Czech food and had great conversations with the guide and the other guests. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys micro-beer.</p>

Great tour!

My boyfriend and I went on this tour with Thomas, luckily for us, we got a private tour! We enjoyed the company of Thomas very much, he knew a lot about the different beers, the history of Prague and he had great stories. It was a relaxed trip which took longer than the 3,5 hours probably because of the great conversations! He also recommended the restaurant we went to that night, which was absolutely lovely! Oh and Thomas! We got to see the Island Marker from the plane! Definilty recommend this trip if you like good bear, company and having a great time :)

<p>There are two things that make this tour, the beer is fantastic and the tour guide is awesome. Paul was super knowledgeable, not only beer but about Prague as a whole. Any questions the group had he answered honestly and gave great advice regarding other key things to do while in town. The tour starts off with a tasting or 7 beers at one brewery, moves on to the oldest brewery in Prague for a pint of the only beer they make my favorite and finishes off with one last pint at a small spot serving a nice old style Czech lager. The history of beer that came with the drinking made the experience that much more interesting and enjoyable. Would recommend this tour to any beer drinkers coming to Prague with a couple of hours to spare outside the normal tourist areas.</p>

Three Micro breweries over...

<p>Three Micro breweries over approximately 3 1/2 hours guided by Thomas, who is very knowledgeable and engaging. Thomas created a very relaxed atmosphere and was full of knowledge about the breweries, brewing process and the history of Czech beer. Excellent value and well worth the money. One or two of the beers were a bit strange, but that is part of what you go on the tour for, to try beer you would otherwise never experience. I never left any!</p> <p>I am probably going to come back next year with a different group of people including the wife this time. If I do, I'll book this tour again and hope I get Thomas as a guide.</p>

We booked up for the microbrewery tour and beer tasting to pass a few hours in Prague and were very pleasantly surprised. The tour was small and very well run. The guide (Gary) was very knowledgeable and engaging and set a great atmosphere for the afternoon. Learnt a lot about Czech beer while sampling a few along the way.

The beer samples were great and she did a good job educating our small group about beer production and beer history.
