Great excursion!

Today my son (23) and i went on the hidden gem tour Our guide, Honza, did such a good job. He knows a lot of the history and showed us some places that we will never have found on our own. Honza tauhgt us a lot about the history, but also pointed out little things as we walked allong. We learned a lot and look at things differently now. Thanks Honza and enjoy your beer! We recommend this tour!

Best tour guide ever

Honza(Jack) was great. He meet us about 15 mins early when we saw him and he gave us a great explanation of the anatomical clock. He truly showed us areas of Prague that we would have never found on our own. Jack listened to our feedback and adjusted the tour to make it perfect for our group. You could tell he enjoyed the tour as much as we did. Would recommend Hack to anyone!!!

How history built philosophy in Prague

Honza (Jack) was amazing! He was open and candid in his views not only of the history of Prague, but also of how this unique history affects the common mindsets you’ll encounter in Czech people today. This was one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had and would book with Honza on my next visit in a heartbeat.

Terrific and informative tour with the lovely Michal!

We wanted a hidden gem walking tour and this did not disappoint. We enjoyed plenty of the skyline and architecture while Mike regaled tales of King Charles IV reign. Some of the precious and historic sights were breathtaking and not inundated by other tourists so we knew we were seeing something special. Mike was great fun and knew his stuff and was able to interact with us comfortably even when there was just 2 of us. There was no question he wasn't able to answer, and the chosen walk was so enjoyable with us definitely exploring new parts of Prague despite having been there 3 days already.

An Extraordinary Day

Hana led us on a most extraordinary tour through Prague. She is a most personable, warm and welcoming guide. Nobody could have made us more happy and relaxed. Hanna was very sensitive to our physical limitations and tailored the tour to meet our personal interests. Her professional background and experience gave her a unique perspective on Prague. Through her clear narrative and excellent English she conveyed to us the historical importance of the many Well known sites in Prague and hidden gems. Without a doubt she deeply enriched our visit to Prague. She took us by the smallest house in Prague, through the castle, down backstreets, showed us the park where statues grotesquely twisted and symbolic of suffering under Communism stand. She had suggestions as to where to hear a concert and kindly helped us purchase tickets. We thoroughly enjoyed the three hours we spent and can not recommend her highly enough. Do bring good walking shoes, layered clothing in September, and a good camera. This is an extraordinarily photogenic city. You do not want to miss the many photo opportunities. I hate to admit it but the highlight of our tour was the beer we had at the monastery near the castle. It was the the best beer I have ever had. So relaxing to sit and chat with our tour guide about history. Thank you, Hanna

Was great to see sights in Prague that were a little off the beaten track. Michal was a great guide, full of interesting historical and cultural information. Definitely worth doing.

See Prague the way the locals see it

Our guide Michal (Mike18) lead us on a walking tour of hidden gems and secret places that are hiding in plain sight. Churches you'd never find on your own and quirky locales you din't come to see. How about an elevator that never stops and one of Europe's first McDonalds - we didn't go in, but Michal answered our questions about this eye-sore's role in the local cuisine scene. The icing on the cake was his explanation of the city's trams - he inspired us to travel around the city the way a local does which gave us the chance to meet many more Czech people - the main reason we travel!

Our guide Jack was fabulous and showed us all the back streets and hidden treasures of Prague. He had great knowledge of history plus all the different attractions. We saw things most tourists don't get to see. Would highly recommend the tour for those who want a broader perspective. Thanks Jack for showing us your real city.

We had been in Prague a few days...

<p>We had been in Prague a few days before going on this tour with Mike so had seen most of the main sights. Unfortunately we had some duplication with the first few stops of the tour but this did not detract greatly from the tour as one church had been closed so it was useful to go back. Mike is very knowledgeable and a very good guide - full of interesting facts and enthusiasm. We learnt a lot about the different styles of architecture - and as there were just 2 of us on the tour - we asked loads of questions and Mike was able to supply answers. The tour ends at Vysehrad Castle which is at the the top of quite a steep street but with fantastic views over the city. A great tour - if you're interested in the less well known churches, squares, buildings and castle and want to soak up more during your visit to Prague, this trip is worth doing.</p>
