The food was excellent, the drinks were great, my tour group was a delight and my tour Guide Michaela was very fun and knowledgeable. It was absolutely money well spent.

The best food tour I've ever been to

So much delicious food! I decided to try this tour as a native Czech and learned so many things I didn't know before. The context behind the individual dishes is truly intriguing, especially when told from the perspective of a local resident, Nikola, who shared wonderful stories from her childhood growing up under the communist regime. I didn't know if was possible to fit so many meal tastings into 4 hours and still get to do some sightseeing, but apparently, when you know how to do it, everything is possible. It was easily the best food tour I've ever been to!

A great way to meet Prague!

Our guide, Nicola was delightful, informative and helpful. She explained the history, relevance and elements of the various food we tried. We ate everything from the standard communist style food to delicious Prague traditional food. There was plenty of food in the tour. I really liked the new treats we tasted. A real delightful way to see the city by eating as you go and learning a bit of history as well.

We had the best time with our tour guide Michelle ! She was so knowledgeable about Prague and Czech food and so fun to be with . She took us to some incredibly interesting places that we would never have gone to ! This was one of the best tours we have done through Viator !

Our favorite day in Prague!

We cannot say enough about this experience. We were fortunate enough to tour with Misa and wanted to keep her with us for the entire trip. She was kind, personable and an incredible guide for not only food, but also for the history of Prague as well. The food tour was such a fun and unique experience. We have never tried Czech food and even with a picky eater in our group - everything was tasted and enjoyed. We even asked for recipes so we can try to recreate some dishes when we return home. We can't recommend this company enough .We enjoyed the food tour so much that we booked a private historical site with them as well during our visit to Prague. Book with them -you will have a great time!

Great tour and guide

Nikola was the best guide! She not only took us to several of her favorite restaurants, she gave us the history of the foods. But best of all, she shared her personal family memories with meals. This tour was not rushed and while walking to each place, she gave us the history of different buildings and areas of town. It was great! Certainly didn’t leave hungry. Recommend this to everyone!

Delicious food!

Nikola was a great guide! Not only did she take us to some wonderful restaurants, she also included history on the foods and very touching personal family memories. We loved every minute! And we certainly did not leave hungry!

This tour is wonderful and I can't say enough good things about our guide Michaela. She was knowledgable and was able to answer all our questions and very personable. The food was great too. I tried things I know I wouldn't have ordered on my own. I like that we were able to get a different beverage option during beer tastings if that's not something we drink. We even got to go through the little side streets in old town to beat the crowds. I saw little places I never would have known existed. Definitely do this tour! I'm glad I did.

Great way to experience local foods and traditions of Prague.

Fun evening with friends and our new friend Jan, our guide. He was so enthusiastic and shared his neighborhood culinary favorites. When we arrived at each place they were ready for us. He shared history of the area and country. We all loved the experience, the food and the things we learned about Prague and Czech Republic. Great way to tour without feeling like a tourist.

We had an absolutely fabulous food tour with Jan. The 4 hr tour was over in what seemed just a few minutes. Food selection was great and our tour guide could not have been any better. Highly recommend this tour. I have a real sweet ťooth and the desert selection was the best I have ever had. Jan's local knowledge of Prague was entertaining and educational. Fantastic Food Tour

This tour is fantastic! I was unfamiliar with Czech cuisine, and this was such a delightful introduction. The food choices were outstanding! I recommend you go hungry, or you could regret being unable to eat every delicious bite. Our guide, Nikola, was absolutely fabulous!! So knowledgeable about the city and was so helpful explaining public transportation. She has such a delightful personality. She immediately put us at ease and by the end felt like someone you’d want to be friends with. She was the icing on the cake!

Amazing Food Tour With Martin

Absolutely wonderful tour! Our guide Martin shared the rich history and sights as we walked through the city from stop to stop. Delicious assortment of Czech foods and beverages left no one in our group of four hungry. Delightful conversations while we are included recommendations for other places we could visit, shop and eat. Would highly recommend, especially at the start of your trip in Prague! Ask for Martin, you won’t be disappointed!!!

The "Old Town Food Tour" with Nikola was EXCELLENT. The food was delicious and overwhelming filling. Nikola (Nikki) was great. Her English was fantastic. She shared (non-touristy) restaurant recommendations and made our trip that much more enjoyable! Thank you!

Prague city adventures food tour

The food tour with Michelle and Mita was simply fabulous! We toured several restaurants and sampled authentic Czech food. The restaurants they chose were not tourists restaurants but homemade with quality ingredients. We even learned some history along our tour. They were so knowledgeable of Prague, knew the region extremely well and were so accommodating to us. We ate together and had great conversations . It seemed like we were friends for years. My husband and I kept talking about the fantastic evening we had with them while we walked back to our hotel. We would 100% recommend their company because we were so pleased and satisfied with everything. We even received an email the following day reminding us of the food we ate and even sent a family recipe for me to try at home.

Fabulous foodie experience!

Fabulous tour with Jan! The food was amazing…we were seated for 3 extensive “tasting” experiences (more like full meals) at different restaurants, with a wide variety of Czech cuisine. But it was especially Jan that made this into a memorable experience. He incorporated personal stories to explain Czech food, culture and history to us. We love food tours when visiting new cities, and this was one of the best food tours we’ve ever taken. Highly recommended!

Excellent Guide

Jan is a local with both historical and current events knowledge. He is able to answer questions, show you both the local food and some of the more traditional eats. He is glad to point out things to do in future tours and days spent in the city. I highly recommend asking for him to take you around the city and show you what where and what the locals eat. Great food and you will definitely get more than a tasting.

Prague evening old town food tour

Our guide Nicky was amazing!! She was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. The restaurants and bars that we visited were authentic and the food was delicious. Restaurants were off the beaten path in less touristy areas. Nicky explained everything about the food and related culture, lots of information about Prague snd Czech history, in addition she suggested other restaurants and sites to visit during our time on our own for the rest of our stay in Prague. Great tour, thank you Nicky!!

Fabulous foodie tour

Nikki was a fabulous guide/host. She was very informative about the sights we passed on our way to the various eateries/restaurants, and she gave us great insight to Czech cuisine and culture. The food (and beer!) was excellent as well. Nikki also has the perfect personality for bringing together all the individuals in the group for great fun.

Nikola was wonderful. So easy going and friendly—walking through town and telling us about food and culture and history in Prague…without making it apparent to everyone in a 10m radius that we were tourists on A TOUR! She made you feel like you were just a bunch of locals going out. At every restaurant we went to, they knew her and made us feel welcome and everything was DELICIOUS! She showed us a variety of foods but also was willing to add in things or tell us where other traditional foods were popular with locals. I am so glad I did this tour and didn’t leave Prague having missed all these foods and interesting info!

Good food, good drinks, and good vibes

This tour was lovely. The variety of food and drinks were great. We circled around Old Town (including on a tram) and got to hear history along with normal Czech daily life. I would recommend the tour.

Authentic food tour

Nikola, our guide, was delightful, passionate and informative. We really enjoyed meeting her. She picked us up at our hotel, took us to a variety of local restaurants, and dropped us back off. We highly recommend using her.

Just perfect! Not only do you experience food & cafés & restaurants your probably wouldn't find on your own you learn so much more about the history of Prague and the Czech Republic. Brilliant.

We had a food tour with Jan and it was a blast! He was so kind, fun and informative. We really enjoyed ourselves and were happy to make a new friend in Prague!

Try food you wouldn't normally order. And have fun seeing the city from a locals perspective.

What a fab way to see and learn more about the city. Get some inside view into how Prague runs and it's history from someone who has loved it. And try foods that you wouldn't normally order. Trust your guide. She will make sure you have a fab time!! We have done a couple.of other European city food tours and this was as fantastic as the others. Michaela made sure we got to visit restaurants and cafes that we wouldn't normally get to. And to try foods and drinks that were unusual and enjoyable. Highly recommended to everyone visiting Prague with a spare couple of evening hours

Better than expected!

Had a fantastic time on this tour! Learned so much about Prague, ate a LOT of local foods and drinks.
