Great half day experience. Would recommend that you spend a bit more time in Phuket Town. You can easily organise a taxi when you are ready.

Awe inspiring Big Buddha

Our guide Daisy who was just lovely. The Big Buddha was my favourite part. Very serene at the top even with many people. You could meditate or have a blessing too (or both).

Wonderful tour to see Phukets highlights

Great half day tour with friendly tour guide that taught us about the Thai history and culture throughout the 4 areas of the trip Guide spoke English which was easy to understand. Very attentive and friendly. The mini van was comfortable and driver drove safely. Given water on the trip. We started at Karon view point, then the big budda, the temple and finished at Phuket town. Our highlight was the big budda where we got to do a 7 minute meditation and get a blessing from the monks with a bracelet gift. There are monkeys there so avoid having food on you. Optional donations and not pressured to buy anything. Opportunity at the temple to buy food and drinks. Would recommend if you want to see the city highlights in a few hours. Pick up at 8 and finished by 12.30.

Good overall impression of Phuket

Meandering through the amazing traffic, route up to big buddha… Interesting insight to how labour intensive Cashew nut peeling is‼️by visiting the cashew factory Excellent service to bring us back to the cruise ship peer on time.

Great way to explore Phuket

The guide (Mauin) was super helpful and friendly, kept us informed every step of the way and made it a great experience. We felt that there was a good amount of time at every stop to explore, but not so much that it dragged on all day. Great price to see all the main attractions of Phuket (Karon Viewpoint, Big Buddha, Temple, Cashew Factory and Old Phuket Town). The aircon in the car was a great bonus too!!

The experience was mouth breaking, already we are planning our next trip back here next year at this time

Rude behaviour by their Staffs and tour manager

Pls don't book through sunleisureworld.com. They are not genuine. They give false promises. We had a very bad experience with their staff's during our recent stay at phuket. Contact number given in their website +66814409926..gave us a false promise of late 9am pickup from our hotel before booking. Later after booking They just sent a mail one day earlier for 7.40 am pickup. I tried to contact them several hours beforehand..but they didn't pickup. Again in the morning as I had a 2 yr old baby we were late by 10 mins...but the staff was so rude and he left us at went off. I contacted the main manager of their company..and she too supported their staff's behavior. Later they asked me to catch a private cab and join the half day city tour to a place which was 15 kms away from my hotel. I strongly recommend everyone not to book through sunleisureworld.com. I genuinely had a bad experience. Staff's are rude and not family friendly. Giving false promises is a sign of cheating...which their tour manager who is supposed to be a good coordinator does!!!

It was ok. I didn’t learn any history. The bus had a horrible smell from the start to end of the tour.

This trip was great…lots to see in a half day tour and enough time at each attraction. Daisy the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly .

An all-round successful trip

OVERVIEW * Super well organized. * Started on time. * Very friendly. * Easy to understand English. DETAIL Unfortunately, we never felt there was enough time per sight, but the good thing was that we saw a lot as a result. And although it wasn't actually planned, we stopped at other stations along the way. All in all a very tiring day, but it was worth it. THAI HOSPITALITY: Unfortunately, I left my hat in the vehicle, which I had only bought two days ago. After a short time, it was brought to me at the hotel. SUMMARIZED We had a lot of fun and got our money's worth.

Engaging guide

I was lucky. I booked to join a group tour but got a private toor because of cancellations. Daisy, the guide, was happy to answer all my questions and discuss different topics. This was very informative. I had a lovely afternoon and it was well worth the money spent.

Great Tour!

My husband and I signed up for a private tour and Kim did not disappoint! We saw so many different sites and he was very knowledgeable about all of them. He even made a couple extra stops for us at various viewpoints and even a street market. It was the best! Thank you, Kim!

Perfection

My girlfriend and I went on this tour the second day of our trip and it was perfect! The guide was really friendly and helpful. He helped us map out a perfect vacation with tips about Thailand and where to go. 10/10 recommended!

You get what you pay for.

Would I recommend? Well we did it, it was long and the a/c hardly did a thing on this super hot day, the sights were ok for what you pay, 2 view stops for pictures, then Big Buddha with coconut Ice Cream, then 5 Temple stop, lots to see there. Could’ve skipped the whole cashew please buy (no thx) stop and the Old Phuket stop, nothing was happening that time of day and there were no stores with a/c just stands, all the same. Made for a long day. The tour guide lady only seemed to talk to the couple in the front seats, the rest of us had no clue what was going on.

Great half day trip

We booked this trip to see some of the main sights of Phuket (as transport is quite expensive), and it did not disappoint! The guide was very friendly and explained a lot of things. Price was worth it too. Recommended.

Phuket City Tour - i 100% recommend it.

This was a great way to see phuket without paying a large amount of money for taxi fares. Our guide Kim was fantastic! He gave us a lot of extra information which made us learn more about Phuket. The air conditioned car was a great plus. Overall such a great experience, i can not recommend it enough.

Beautiful stops to take amazing pics... The tour guide (Kim) was really good and funny... we did this trip because it picked us up at a good time and dropped us off at a location we preferred. Money well spent.

Nice half-day in Phuket

Today we had a lovely tour in Phuket with Kim(the guide). He was really nice , friendly and made us to feel relax and happy. Thank you for the nice half-day Kim. :):):)

DO NOT GO ON THIS TRIP IF YOU CARE ABOUT ANIMAL WELFARE

The itinerary of this trip is a lie. You will be taken to other destinations that are not on this list, myself and my boyfriend purposely picked a tour that had no animal visits, and was a half day!!! Onto the itinerary they add tourist traps such as a bee farm, a cashew nut factory a BABY ELEPHANT ON A CHAIN IN A SMALL PEN, and a diamond emporium just to try and get tourists to buy! I was horrified that I had given my money without knowing to a company that supports keeping animals in this way, when I expressed this to the guide she said "don't worry the baby elephant is just there from 9-5pm whilst its mother is elephant trecking with tourists through the forest". It is tourists that are supporting animals being treated in this way- DO NOT SUPPORT THIS!!!

Good all in one tour of a few places you should see while in Phuket

A good way to spend a few hours and see some of the Phuket sights. The Big Buddha on top of the mountain is probably the main attraction.

Double check booking destinations

I initially booked this tour for the destinations (Karon Viewpoint, Windmill, Big Buddha, Rawai Beach, Wat Chalong and Patong Beach) as stated in the itinerary however once on the tour I was advised it was going to Elephant Trekking, Tiger Show and a Bee Farm which i was 100% NOT in favour of. If I had of known this I wouldnt have booked.

Good half a day tour or Phuket, nice experience

Pick up from the hotel was on time and the AC Van carried around 12 people. We along with two other similar vans toured all the places including old Phuket town (that was not mentioned in the itinerary) but the tour operator skipped the Rawai Beach. It was a great half day tour of all important places in Phuket. Would recommend to anyone.

Not a half day tour!!

The tour itself was ok but it was advertised as a half day city tour.....it states 3 hours duration on the ticket. It was not a half day tour we were picked up from our hotel at 0955 and returned at 1550. If i had known it would be this long i would not have booked. We had limited time in phuket so thought the half day tour would be great to allow us to see everything without eating too much in to our time Have a big brekkie as no lunch stop either

Great half day tour 💕

Tour guide was super lovely and very informative. It was a comfortable way to get around for some snaps of the beautiful beaches and the big Buddha 💕 Totally worth the money so leave a generous tip 👌🏽 Highly recommended for first timers 🥰

Great way to see sights

Kim was good fun and knows all about the attractions. It suited us as we did not spend too long at each place. Kim also booked our taxi transfer to airport at a reasonable rate

Nice City tour but poor organization

We just finished our city tour and we enjoyed all the locations we visited, however the tour was not organized properly, we waited 30 min to get picked up, the tour did not have a lunch break so by the time we drove back at around 3pm we were hungry to say the least. If the picks ups were made a little earlier we could have spend more time in Phuket Old Town and had lunch. Lastly we stopped at the Tiger Kingdom for a drop off and for some unknown reason our tour guide made us wait 15 min there. Overall good but not amazing.

Tour did no follow advertised itinerary!

We signed up for this tour specifically because it did not include the cashew nut factory or Old Phuket Town, and because it ended at Patong Beach close to where we were staying. We got on the tour bus to find out that we were going to BOTH of those locations. The tour guide was nice but his English was not great, so his explanation of a lot of the places was lacking.

Very good trip

This was a very good trip only cost £29 for 2 so very good value Kim the tour guide was excellent very informative It’s a good way to see Phuket if you don’t like all day trips The big Buddha is a must see amazing really good trip

Very basic but nice

They were 30 minutes late and could not reach them via telephone. First we passed some hotel to pickup other people, then the tour started. Pleasant driver and guide. The tour itself was to a couple of the touristic hotspots of Phuket. Guide gave very basic but interesting information. The cashew factory was nice to see. They should have informed us to bring our own lunch, as in the schedule is no moment for a lunch. Value for money perfectly fine.

Great value but lacking substance and guidance

Let’s start the review with the underpinning of the knowledge that this tour is great value for money. It just is. £15 for a bus tour around Phuket with some stops at key destinations. Great. To summarise though- the taxi driver who collected us was nice... but took our photo on his phone which made me think of the taken films and how much me and my partner might be worth. Moving on, our first stop was the beach viewpoint, which was an impressive view- but didnt have long here and very busy. next was big Buddha, which again; cool, but not finished. Lots of exposed concrete and rebar. And shops, of course shops. Next was the cashew nut factory which was essentially a large gift shop with a cashew nut tree outside and two women crushing shells inside. Lots to buy, not much to see. Free samples tho. Tom yum was good! Next was the temple, which, as with so many Thai temples has sold out its spiritual sacredness for capitalism and is absolutely jam packed with people taking selfies. Not so good for finding ones’ self. Finally was central Phuket- old town. However it’s simply a load of shops selling frankly the same rubbish you’ve seen every where else across Thailand. The traffic back was heavy and we didn’t get back to hotel until 4:15- -9:20 until 4:15 isnt half day so please consider this if Booking!!! Pros- great value for money, comfortable minibus and an easy low stress way to see a brief snapshot of the district Cons- Very brief with no really guidance- more chaperoned to different places. Kim, we both found, was unapproachable and didn’t bother to learn our names or say goodbye at the end of the trip. A little bit “skittish” and flustered. Don’t take all these as negatives, it’s worth your money for a lazy mans way of seeing a city because all you’ve done so far is sit on a beach. So if you want to go home and say you saw Phuket this is a very very easy way to partially accomplish this. In a limited capacity. Have fun. Happy travels! P.s our names were Simon and esme.

Half-Day Phuket City Tour

Absolutely awesome tour. We were staying in Phuket but didn't do much research about how to get around the city or the driving situation so we were disappointed when we realized how far apart everything was. With that said, we decided to book this tour in order to see as much as we could and we weren't disappointed. We had awesome tour guides who spoke English (which was important for us because we don't speak Thai) and told us all about the stops we made. We also had plenty of time to look around at each stop.

Solo Trip!

The trip was great.I had a very pleasant time on this trip. The guide was good and the group of solo travelers never felt alone. And the accommodation was very comfortable. Great trip! Great mix of culture!

Good way to see Phuket

This is a good tour to see the different parts of Phuket. Unfortunately we went on a very rainy day so could not see the view from Karon Point but our guide Kim let us go to another covered viewpoint instead which was very nice of him and the driver. Kim was very cheerful and fun to have around on what was a very wet, gloomy tour. The tour lasts about 4 hrs so make sure you have a big breakfast before starting.

Best way to see Phuket in a day!!!

We had the best time on this tour. We t Phuket. I was a bit sceptical about booking through trip advisor but I'm so glad I did! Just enough time at all the location's to get photos and explore before moving on to the next spot!

Phuket half day tour

Our tour guide SOM was really amazing. She picked us up from our hotel. Very informative and extremely helpful. There were a few places we did not know that we were going to for example the honey factory & the cashew factory and also we did not have a booking for Tiger Kingdom. When we went to the honey & cashew factory we wanted to buy stuff but we did not have enough money. No questions asked she lent us the money and we were extremely grateful to her for doing that and she also helped us with a booking to go to the Tiger Kingdom. On the return back to our hotel we gave the money back to her. SOM did not know who we were we were just tourists on one of her tours but for her to do that for us was so amazing which we will not forget in a hurry. Me & my hubby thoroughly enjoyed the tour. THANKS SOM. So for anyone doing this tour please specially ask for SOM

Half day in Phuket

We had fun and visited a lot of beautiful places. Cheap compared to a taxi fare just to one of the attractions. The guide was helpful,knowledgeable and nice.

Worth it

First time joined city tour organised. Not bad. Friendly and helpful tour guide, Kim. He explained about the places well. Manage to visit a few places. Nice view point. Should add 1 more spot of Promthep capein the package. Heard it has nice view too. 👍

Loved the tour

We opted to get a driver for our group and it was the best thing we could have done! This meant we took as long as we wanted at each site, stopped for lunch and could make our own itinerary. One needs to read up about the attractions for this option since the driver is not a tour guide

Great trip

Great trip, learned a lot about the island. The tour guide was awesome. He was very informative as well as friendly and funny.

Tour and drop off to the airport

I took a package deal drop at the airport and with 5 hours visiting 4 places and at the end we could only visiting 3 places due not enough time. The driver M. A Nok was nice and driving good only one thing that he came one hour early to pick us up at the hotel.

Perfect Half Day Phuket Tour

10/10 Recommend! Great value for money. Our tour guide spoke great English, was very informative with a sense of humour too which is always nice! We saw everything an more that we had expected too. We went with a small group so we didn’t spend too long at each place, the tour guide took photos at each spot for us too! I actually did this tour after having a breast augmentation too so it was a must for me to have a van with air conditioning and not too much walking. (Single photos are my own but the guide took great ones of me and my partner)
