A crazy blast of Bangkok by night with delicious food

Had a fantastic night with our guide Jongkee who was hilarious company! Took us to so many great places. All the food was delicious. Fantastic to travel around the city in neon tuk tuk An experience you could not create on your own and certainly not to be missed! Highly recommended 🤩

Good food and great guide

My wife and I had a great time on this tour! Our guide Fon was very friendly, knowledgeable, and joyful. She taught us some more Thai and we all got a good laugh at our mispronunciation of Thai words. The food on the tour was great! Lots of options for both adventurous and picky eaters alike. Would recommend!

Delicious!

Our guide took us to places we would never have been able to find and the food was delicious. He also offered excellent recommendations for other things to do in Phuket. Everything was delicious but my favorite was the crab curry!

Not just a food experience

Tour Guide Adam was great company: Entertaining & very knowledgable about Old Phuket Town & it's history & culture , as well as the food. Fantastic tour - recommend highly.

Could have been better

Started off fabulous, Adam was warm and welcoming and the first restaurant was fantastic, he explained all the foods and how to eat them. We all enjoyed the experience.Next stop was ok, then we r-were dropped off to walk the beautiful streets of old Phuket town. We thought we had another food experience but it never happened. Also dessert was a disaster as the restaurant we were taken to was closed. We ended up having deep fried ice cream… not the 3 desserts as described on the website. Our guide and driver talked a lot between themselves making us feel a little uncomfortable, they could have given us more history and local area information.

Authentic Thai food

We enjoyed the authentic Thai food from family run places. Adam gives an overview of Thailand, Phuket and the history of the area. He is friendly and knowledgeable and shares his enthusiasm for Phuket. The Old Town visit would have been more enjoyable without the torrential monsoon rain!

Evening food tour

Amazing food, amazing tour guide. Gave us lots of recipes to try ourselves. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great evening.

Fantastic taste of Phuket

You can't come to Phuket and not experience the local flavours. Adam, met us at our hotel, and took us around 4 stops each with something different and unique. The food was excellent and all cooked fresh in front of us. We'd have never found these places and Adam had so much knowledge to share of the area it's history and it's food. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend this for anyone a bit nervous about where to get good traditional food.

Sample a taste of Southern Thailand

We enjoyed having a local take us around the area and help us sample some local dishes. My favorite was the crab curry. Adam our guide was terrific. We enjoyed his company.

Bummer...

Our guide was great, informative and fun but the restaurants were basic, i mean its nice to get a local feel but for the money we paid we should have had some AMAZING food. Thailand food is very inexpensive and this tour was pricey so we don't feel we got the value at all. We have been on many food tours all around the world and this one was definitely a disappointment, which is sad because Thai food is so delicious!

Phuke Night Good Tour and Magical lights Old Town

Adam was one of the best tour guides we have had. He s a wonderful, friendly and caring person who has great knowledge of Phuket and the food he picked for us to eat. Adam made sure we were comfortable at all times and chose the most wonderful hidden away restaurants that serve the most wonderful traditional Thai food. Lock was a fabulous driver and we were not unsafe at any time. If you are going to Phuket, please give this tour a try. You won't regret it, just make sure you are very hungry as there is plenty of wonderful food given on this tour. Thank you Adam and Lock for a wonderful evening. The friendliest little tasty tour around.

Adam our tour guide was so friendly and accommodating that we had the most wonderful evening of eating and exploring. Great to eat at some very local favorites that we would have never come across on our own. We felt safe and gently guided letting us focus on the flavorsome treats at each location. Ending with a bonus stop at a local market for some shopping and more food sampling. Definitely would recommend. Thank you.

Great tour and amazing guide!

This tour was fantastic! The guide, Adam, is hands down one of the nicest people we have ever met. Adam went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience! Adam made us feel very comfortable and really it just felt like we were out with an old friend. We got to taste food that we definitely would not have come across if it had not been for Adam. All the food was delicious! Aroy mak mak!

Adam was a fantastic guide. He took us to delicious restaurants and he helped us to explain to the restaurant’s staff that we could not take spicy food. He helped us to arrange a private driver to take us around the following day.

False advertising & sexist tour guide

SCAM ALARM: False advertising!!! Our itinerary says 3 restaurants and 10+ dishes but we only got to experience 2 restaurants, and tried 5 dishes in total. Food was nice but FAR FROM what we expected. Sexist tour guide: We are a gay couple and tour guide made some offensive and wildly inappropriate jokes on gay/trans. He even suggested we should try out local sex workers — that disgusted me to guts. THINK TWICE BEFORE U BOOK!

Could have been amazing 🤩

The food we got to taste was exceptional and the experience of the walking market something to behold. Beset by some issues we only got 3 tastings. One place has sold out and another was closed when we arrived. So in the end we personally can’t say it was as described or value for money. There are 4 stops included in the tour. The walking street/ market being one. Note: none of the market food is included in the tasting so you can buy and taste extra here if you have room. Our guide and driver were impeccable and did everything they could to make sure we had a great time. The bits we did get were brilliant but I’m not sure it’s appropriate to offer tastings that we paid for that then couldn’t be delivered. Bad luck/ bad planning who knows. A bit if both maybe. The food you taste you would be highly unlikely to stumble across without a guide. It’s brilliant. Every question we asked was answered and Adam had brought herbs from his garden to guess and smell and tell us about. We did a slight detour on the way home for a sightseeing stop not on the list because we didn’t get the final stop. Such a shame because we didn’t sample at the night market in anticipation of further stops included. Could have been great.

Could have been amazing.

Started off great Adam and the driver were very knowledgeable and no request was a problem. They did everything they could to make it a great experience. Including bringing herbs from his garden for us to guess and smell. That said, what we experienced was not what was advertised. Partly down to bad luck or bad planning who knows. The experience offers 5 stops and 10 tastings. What we actually got was 3 stops (one of which was the walking market). Note: there are no included tastings at the market itself. But plenty to buy if you are still hungry. Overall we got 3 tastings included in the two non-market stops. This was because at the second stop they had sold out of some of the tasting dishes and when we got to the final stop after the market, it was closed. We hadn’t eaten extra at the market trying to leave space for the final stop which didn’t happen :-(. The food we did have was extremely tasty and what we were looking forward to. Absolutely delicious and from Michelin guide venues. But we got 3 not 10 so I think it’s fair that we don’t feel it was value for money. Adam did his best to rectify and would have taken us to a stop for a coffee as a replacement but it wasn’t really what we were after. On the way home they did to a detour so we could have a sightseeing stop that we requested. They really were very agreeable and helpful. Just such a shame it went the way it did for the tastings. If it had run smoothly I would have given a 5 star rating. But our experience was that it didnt. I think bad luck for us though and would recommend if it had gone closer to plan.

Excellent experience with a private tour

The food was delicious, and the restaurants were very local. We had five people in our family on the tour, making it essentially a private tour. Adam, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and flexible. We were asking him about monkeys, and he took us to the Khaorang temple (which was not an original tour stop) where we saw over a dozen monkeys. This really made the tour more memorable. Adam was very friendly and helpful, and the tour was very good value for money

Foodie’s delight

We really enjoyed the tour and trying authentic Thai food! Highly recommended if you are a foodie! Adam our guide was lovely and full of information!

Great Trip

Adam provided an excellent adventure into local Thai food in Phuket. We were thoroughly pleased with each stop on the tour. The curries were excellent and the fried ice cream was amazing. Thank you!

Delicious!!!

If you want to experience the local thai food, this tour for you. Adam was one of the best tour guides we ever had. We were suppose to do 5 restaurants, but did 3 because we also attended the local street market fair on Sunday nights and lost track of time with all the excitement in town. Adam was very apologetic and was willing to make it up on another day, but we were booked with other tours during our stay. The food that we did taste however was authentic thai food, and very delicious. If you are looking for local, authentic food, please book this tour and ask for Adam!

Fantastic food with an excellent host

To be honest, it’s quite a surprise there aren’t more reviews on TripAdvisor for this tour. We took a shot in the dark booking it and were so glad we did. Adam was an excellent host, teaching us not only about the preparation of traditional food during visits to authentic restaurants, but also about the history of Thailand and Buddhism. We left the tour incredibly pleased and with happy bellies after visiting Chalong Temple, four different restaurants, and the night market. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting the Phuket area. Of note, Adam has stayed in touch after the tour, providing recipes for the meals we ate, pictures from the tour of our group, and insights for what we should do on the next leg of our trip in Bangkok. He has gone as far to say “if you have any problem call me or write me, anywhere anytime in Thailand.” Don’t wait, book this tour!

Absolutely Amazing!

My partner and I did this tour with Adam (tour guide). Our experience on this tour was fantastic and we would like to recommend Adam and this company to others. Adam was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. He made our night exactly what we wanted – had such a great time. All I can say is, do this tour with Adam, you will not be disappointed! Thanks again Adam.
