Loved this boat trip faultless !

We loved this trip after plenty of research before I was not disappointed. Everything was high quality lovely breakfast to start after getting up so early and hotel pick up . The boat and crew were excellent, staff very helpful and kind . It was a fun trip canoeing caving etc and we were the first boat to reach James Bond island . We have some lovely pictures no crowds and not squashed onto a boat with too many people . You can get cheaper trips but they would never compare to this , after traveling so far for the holiday it Realy is worth it the views were unreal I’d book another trip with them if I ever return thank you Simba !

Brilliant day on the water

Today we went on Simba's Phang Nga Bay & Beyond cruise and what a great experience it was. The crew were highly experienced and a genuine desire to look after our every need. Then there was the food, from breakfast on a quiet sandy beach to a sumptuous Thai lunch not to mention the all day snacks of fruit and Thai nibbles. Faultless in every way, I will definitely use Simba again and would recommend to anyone wanting a fun day on the water whilst seeing beautiful Phang Nga.

Fun day trip

Such a fun day trip! What stood out was the service we received on the boat- it was exceptional. Fresh fruit, snacks, and lunch all provided. The boat is a speed boat and is not comfortable- as long as you know that, you will enjoy the trip. The views are amazing and worth it. Try to sit in the front and wear sunscreen!

Absolutely fabulous trip

At first we were a bit put off by the early start, but my goodness was it worth it! By setting out early we got to James Bond Island at about 9:30am which meant we missed all the crowds! Harry our guide was friendly, informative and funny. We got to explore caves and see monkeys, got some lovely pictures at James Bond Island, and were taken canoeing. Because it’s only a small boat with up to 16 guests I believe, it felt far more personal and was more enjoyable. Lunch was the only part which was slightly disappointing as we didn’t go to the restaurant mentioned in the itinerary. There was no journey in a small truck to get there, and the food was very average. After lunch we were taken to a treasure island where we were able to swim, sunbathe or explore. We were offered snacks and drinks throughout the day by the friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip from start to finish. I would highly recommend you do a tour with Simba Sea Trips.

Issues with Tour, but Solid Company

There were problems with the engines and the tour guide on my tour. That said, the company owner promptly took action and refunded my ticket. I believe Simba is a solid operator, and while things can go wrong anywhere, at least Simba actually does something to improve and help the customer out. Besides that, the tour was beautiful and came to the various tourist spots earlier in the day, which avoided massive crowds.

A wonderful experience

We were collected early by a very friendly driver and taken to the harbour where we were greeted by Harry. Breakfast was plentiful before we left! We toured Phukets smallest islands, went cave exploring, canoeing at Koh Hong, visited James Bond island (had a golden gun for pics too). A stop for lunch at Koh Yao Noi for me was breath taking, I loved every second. A relax on treasure island to finish. Food was constant as were refreshments. Harry provided so many facts, information along with humour he was simply a perfect host. The crew (I think Nat and An) kept us to schedule and safe throughout constantly on hand helping us all on and off the boat. We did have an engine hiccup very close to harbour, on the way back, however this was not an issue as we felt well informed, safe and were back on our way in no more than 15 minutes later. This was a plus as we were all able to watch monkeys on the shore by the mangroves finding food, washing it and eating! Do not hesitate to book, you will be talking about your experience for years to come.

Stunning scenery, highly recommend

By far the best trip of our holiday. Noi and team went above and beyond on the tour. The group was small, the destinations amazing, canoeing around the island and through the caves outstanding. Highly recommend Simba Sea Trips.

Great Tour of Phang Nga Bay

This was a great tour. My guide Harry and Simba Sea Trips were awesome. The islands and caves that we canoed through were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Awesome Day

Awesome day. I am glad I did this early tour as we beat the crowds. In fact I never saw any. The busiest it got was maybe 20 other canoes going through the caves to the open area in the middle. Our speed boat with full canopy was fast and comfortable, and although it could have seated about 22 there was only 11 of us plus 3 staff. We had plenty of room to move around, and a nice small sized group on the beaches and at lunch. Non stop soft drinks available, plus fruit platter and cake. Would not hesitate to do another tour with Simba. The only complaint was continual confusion over my pick up location which right from the beginning (and noted on my ticket) I had supplied full address details, phone number, and description of where hotel was as there was a similarly named hotel nearby which I pointed out not to confuse with. The day before trip I was asked details of pick up location again which I supplied along with it marked on a map. The lady who asked these details later confirmed she had spoken with my hotel. The next morning the guy doing the pickup still went to the wrong property at first. There is only so much you can do to try and help people :-)

Beautiful!

This was my second solo trip with Simba and I got to sit at the front this time. The water was still a bit rough on our way there but overall enjoyable. I use motion sickness patches. Every stop was very beautiful! Lots of snacks and great food. The only issue I had with the schedule was when they gave us hot coffee while moving in between stops, I drank it quickly because we were going so fast I nearly spilled. Harry was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and great english. This is not a tour to go on if your want to see clear water and fish like in the Phi Phi islands! The water is murky and green everywhere but still pretty. James bond island is a bit touristy but we didn’t spend too long. Small tours are the way to go!!

The best day out - a six star experience :)

We went on the Phang Nga Bay and Beyond tour which was just amazing. Our guide Harry was excellent, keeping us watered and fed throughout the day. It was a small group of about 12 of us and leaving early meant we missed the crowds. Wading through a cave then on to James Bond island, before canoeing and a stop at a beautiful sandy beach. Then lunch before another beautiful island stop. It was well worth the money and I would thoroughly recommend. Simba seem to have these trips perfected.

Perfect day

Fantastic trip. Staff were very attentive and kept us well fed and watered throughout the trip. I was nervous about snorkeling as I'm not a strong swimmer but I was given a life jacket to wear and the staff were encouraging. Snorkel equipment is provided but we had our own. I didn't enjoy the first snorkeling stop too much as the sea was a little rough but the second stop was brilliant and we got to see Nemo. The last stop on the tour was great as we got to chill out before heading back. We went on the sunrise tour but it was worth the early start to see the sun rise. Even being early though, the Pi Pi islands are popular with tourists so still fairly busy. Thank you to Joseph and the crew for making the day perfect. I belive that there are cheaper (& also more expensive) ways to see the islands but I think we had a nice mix as I think there was around 12 of us on the boat so it was not too crowed and we also had others to chat to.

An amazing tour to James Bond Island and Beyond

It was one of the best tours which we have ever done. We arrived with the cruise ship in Phuket’s cruise terminal and we have been back at a special time. From the pick up till the return in time everything worked perfect. We had a nice and polite driver , then breakfast near Phuket’s Royal Marina. The boat was nice and clean and not crowded ( as often happens). Our guide Joseph and the two crew members of the ship very amazing. We visited all the places at right time , before other groups were coming. The kayaking was outstanding. On board of the ship they served snacks , fruits and drinks and at last the lunch at a local restaurant was so good, very tasty and lots of different items. We can only highly recommend this tour for every one, also for cruise ship guests. Thank you once more for this amazing day.😊👍😊👍

Best trip ever

This was such a memorable day, the staff are so kind and go above and beyond to ensure your comfort. They even provided vegetarian meals for us. The photos I got today are stuuunnniinngggg and we saw so many monkeys!!

Nice pleasant tour with good beach time to relax

We did both the Phi Phi tour and this Phang Nga Bay tour and if I had to pick one to do again I would pick the Phang Nga Bay tour. It is a nice tour and well organized. plenty of snacks and drink's throughout the day. the restaurant the use for lunch is nice and secluded. We got to James Bond island early, the ladies who operate the concession and gift stands were just showing up as we were leaving. My wife and I liked the earlier start time which gets you back to your hotel late afternoon so your evening doesn't feel rushed. Hint, bring a couple 50 baht or a 100 Baht to tip the kayak operators.

We had an amazing day out with Simba. The trip was extremely well organised to the smallest detail, all our needs were catered for. The boat was in perfect condition and its design facilitated great views throughout the trip. The whole crew was very competent, Harry was an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. A perfect tour to Phang Nga !!! Highly recommend! 5 Stars!!!

I have traveled to Phang Nga previously with another tour (2019) and didn’t think another tour could be better than that experience. However this small group tour was even better!!! A group of about 15 and getting an early start to beat the crowds was part of the key to success! What really made a difference was the tour leader who had a deep understanding of the geological formation of the mountains in Phang Nga and could provide a highly knowledgeable answer to any question thrown at him! He also acted as tour photographer and was always willing to capture that perfect picture of myself and my companion. The English skills of the entire tour team made it easy for us to get the most out of the trip. A healthy tasty breakfast was provided for us and we had lunch at a restaurant on one of the islands! They were also very amenable to catering to my dietary restrictions, as I am celiac. One of the best tours I have taken and I would definitely do again with the same company and the same team. In fact, we have planned to use the same company for a tour to Phi Phi!

Excellent reliable boat trip

Excellent trip with really helpful staff. I initially made a booking with asimba Sea Trips based on positive previous reviews and I can only speak highly of the company. Firstly I made a booking for my wife and I but we needed to alter the date of the booking. I made contact with Simba and got a reply back after a short period of time to confirm the change in booking. Due to an accident I had to again change the booking and this was responded to quickly and positively by the company. After the tour the staff even dropped me close to hospital instead of my hotel and went out of their way to assist us where possible. As for the trip, I was picked up at my hotel atbthe time described and transported to the port to meet up with the boat. At the port we were provided with a small breakfast option. The tour boat was comfortable and clean and sufficent for our group size which was around 20 people and just a nice group size. We were well looked after throughout the trip and provided with hot / cold drinks, fruit and snacks plus cold towel to end. The tour was as described and we were updated throughout by staff. We had sufficient time at all the stops. Nothing felt rushed and we weren't surrounded by bigger tour groups which turned up as we were leaving. All the excursions were well organised and managed which led to a very enjoyable day. The break for lunch was nice. The restaurant was set up for our group and the food was well prepared, varied and tasty. I can't find any fault with this tour. I have found the company to be helpful, reliable and offer a first class experience where we were really looked after. I would highly recommend the company and their tours and would use again as a first choice.

Modern boat for a relaxing beautiful day

Comprehensive tour in a modern boat with a terrific crew. Plenty of time to enjoy the beach, sites and sun. Plenty of food and beverages offered as well.

Fantastic Crew providing a stunning island trip!

Perfect from start to finish. A well organised trip run by a fantastic crew. This was our first time using Simba. They were a recommendation and I am so glad we booked this day trip. Harry our guide was very knowledgeable and provided top class hospitality. Took lots of our pics together, kept us fed and watered. The food was lovely. The island locations were also perfect. Day began with breakfast at the marina in a lovely hotel. We then were provided with waterproof ponchos as rain started and waterproof bags. We set sail and off we went for a day of adventure. Captain Dol and crew mate Vit were so friendly and helpful. Especially loved canoe experience, swimming into the caves & James Bond Island. Plenty of photo opportunities. Simba leave early and beat the crowds. Lunch was included on the islands in a stunning little restaurant for our arrival. Honestly the day went perfect from start to finish. Best day of our holiday so far!

Family Affair

This is the 2nd time my husband and myself have cruised with Simba Sea Trips and we loved our first visit and decided to bring all the family this time ( 12 of us ) They picked us up right on time and good communication on where we were going. Plenty of snacks, water, soft drinks, chocolate bars and my favourite was the Banana Bread and to top it off a very nice Lunch. Thankyou to all the crew members and Simba owners for a great day out. We will defiantly recommend Simba Sea Trips to all our friends. Till we meet again.

Loved this trip with Simba Sea Tours

Totally loved this day our on and in the water in gorgeous Phang Nag Bay with Simba Sea Tours. The small group (just 9 people) and the early start meant we visited some incredible places without the hoardes of tourists that come later in the day. The boat was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were very well fed and watered throughout the whole trip. Our guide Harry and the captain and mate were all friendly, knowledgeable and really made it a fabulous experience. I would highly recommend this trip with Simba.

This trip was wonderful, Harry was the best host ever, taking pictures for us and making sure we all had an enjoyable time and also giving us superb knowledge of the areas we visited. Do not visit Phuket without going on this cruise!

The trip with the Golden Gun

These photos all do this trip complete justice. Great service all round. Our guide, Harry was awesome, constantly suggesting where to pose for photos, taking photos and sharing them and taking care of the whole group’s needs. Sequence of the island visits was spot on, with our group getting special attention before the hustle and bustle of larger groups arrived. Morning tea was superb and lunch at a local Thai cafe on one of our spots was delicious. Well worth the trip and highly recommend it.

Exceptional day, highly recommend.

Wow, what a day we will never forget. Noi and the guys from Simba Sea Tours were funny, interesting, and professional. If you want a small group tour (just 7 on ours), that gets to the best spots first, I would recommend this tour. From stunning islands, caves, secret places, and a private island beach to swim in the warm, clear, turquoise waters. The kayak tour part way through was safe, and you don’t even have to paddle! Just sit back and be awed by the natural beauty of the place. Food was amazing, with a truly authentic & delicious Thai lunch on one of the islands restaurants, plus plenty of snacks and fresh fruit and bottled water while on the boat.

Amazing tour, wonderful guides, highly recommend!

This tour was amazing! Harry, our guide was so knowledgeable, funny, charismatic and his English was perfect. He took a million photos and was more than happy to do so. Waking up early was well worth it as it beat the crowds to the caves and beaches. The sights were stunning and the lunch provided was lovely. The boat was small and very quick, which was perfect as it kept the number of guests down and got us to the places fast. Highly recommend! Thank you Harry and the crew!

Highlight of our trip to Phuket

The earlier start means you beat the crowds. Well worth it! Harry and the crew knew so much about the islands and were very welcoming and professional. The food served was fantastic and fresh. The tiny islands we visited were pristine and it was totally relaxing. Highly recommend this tour.

Phang Nga Bay Adventure

Did a second tour with this company because we loved the first one so much! Went to Phang Nga Bay and adventured through a dry cave, canoed, swam and enjoyed the beautiful sites! The crew does awesome at educating, offering refreshments/snack, and helping guide you on different treks. Enjoyed Harry, Capt Sit, and Capt Wat helping us out! Great breakfast and lunch and plenty of time at each stop! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Everlasting memories!

What a wonderful excursion this was! The memories that were created were priceless! Very organised trip which showcased the beauty of Thailand perfectly. There were so many highlights to this trip! I do believe the early start combined with the small group of people made the trip to be absolutely perfect. Harry was a wonderful knowledgable host and his crew were very attentive. I didn’t think I would swim from the boat as I am not a strong swimmer , but I did! There is no pressure to participate in swimming if you wish not to, however the crew are very encouraging for you to make the most of your experience. I am so pleased I researched boat trips before we came out to Thailand as this trip was everything I could have wished for and more!

Fabulous tour trip!

Fabulous day trip with Simba Sea Tours. The boat crew, and guide Harry, were really knowledgeable, fun and responsive to any requests. The scenery was breathtaking and all the snacks and lunch were great. We loved the canoeing and cave tour. They could not have done any more to help us. I would highly recommend.

Do Not Miss This Tour!

Harry and his team did an amazing job on the Simba 8 boat! From all the great snacks and drinks on the boat, to all the information they supply all day long! Even the place we stopped for lunch was fantastic! Harry even took pictures of us on his own phone and sent them to my phone later! Such great customer service! We picked this tour since it leaves at 7 am and misses the majority of the crowds later in the day. Your eyes will pop out of your head- it is that beautiful! Thanks again Harry!

The limestone karsts (islands), the green waters, the wide open boat. Everything we wanted!!

ALL of it! We LOVED seeing the limestone islands (Karsts) appear as we motored along.. nothing like anything we've seen before. and then getting to see them up close, swim beside them and between them. It was exactly why we had come!! We canoed or walked thru the caves to discover a hidden piece of land like from prehistoric times. We loved the boat because you could see around you the whole time. Our guide was knowledgeable about the islands and caves. They served us several snacks of fresh fruit or cookies and water during the day. They day we went, there were about 20 of us but guide said they could take up to 50. I'm glad we were there on a light day, as we could move around and take pictures from different spots on the boat. We had taken a SeaStar tour 2 days prior. (it's boat was faster but rougher and rather closed in so we had to stand up to see where we were going.. not good because it was rough). I would HIGHLY recommend this outfit and this type of boat! THANK YOU!!

Misleading

The description of this tour was a little misleading. There was no Wi-Fi on board and no snorkelling.

The Best Day in Thailand

This was the most memorable day of our entire trip to Thailand. Harry was a fantastic guide, and in one day we were able to see parts of Thailand not possible to see any other way. Trip was on time, efficient, crew was attentive and friendly and the food was great as well. Would highly recommend.

A never miss excursion!

Super Simba

Having done the Two Seas trip before, which was so perfect we have recommended it it friends visiting Phuket, on returning we couldn’t decide between the Phang Nga or Phi Phi trips, so did both! They are very different tours, lots of snorkelling in Phi Phi and less active on Phang Nga. The boats are really well maintained and as everyone says, so few on board unlike the other tours we saw. The early starts are definitely worth it. Food was great and we even enjoyed the choppy seas, having taken the recommended tablets no one was ill and felt safe at all times. If you want trips where you are responded to promptly, run super efficiently and really create lifetime memories, there really is only one company to book with. We will definitely continue recommending Simba! :) (Photos are not the Simba boats, but show the gorgeous colour of the sea and local long tail boats)

Not to be missed

One of the memorable experiences of our visit to Phuket, this trip took in countless islands, each one a site of a different experience. There was swimming, caving, a fabulous paddled canoe visit through hidden places and fascinating trip to James Bond Island, made famous by being the site of filming The Man with the Golden Gun. With 15 pax there was sufficient to engage in conversation as we travelled, so the group bonded as the trip progressed. We departed James Bond Island for a further remote beach and then transferred from there to another island where we enjoyed a lovely restaurant lunch. And so we made the long travel back, even meeting some monkeys before we finally docked. This trip was superbly organised, carefully times and always safe. On board food and drink was available and, above all, the knowledgeable and charming tour guide,Harry, made it interesting, informative and detailed. Unforgettable and highly recommended.

Not worth the price

We have enjoyed other tours with Simba Sea Trips which were great but sadly, this one was not. The pick up driver was late which resulted in him driving like a mad man, we didn't feel safe at all. The first stop, the cave, we spent little time in. Just went in, looked around for 3 minutes and back. But then on the James Bond island we spent 30min, just to look at a rock. Some people might want to take plenty of photos there so we get it. The kayaking was supposed to be our highlight but we were so disappointed. You can't kayak by yourself, an employee rows and you just sit there. You are basically moved from a big boat on a small boat. It was very crowded too, it felt like a busy street. When asked, they wouldn't let us row at least for a few minutes a bit away from the rocks to be sure not to damage the kayak. We passed by multiple pretty beaches but the two beaches we were taken to were quite dirty, full of rocks and murky. You couldn't properly swim because of this, just sit in the water or on the sand. The whole trip felt like we were just sitting. Either on the boat, kayak or the beach. It wasn't active at all, compared to other trips were you can properly swim, jump from the boat or have nice walks on the beach. During the whole trip we just felt bored and disappointed to have paid such a high price to just sit around.

Sea and See with Sinba

Great day with Simba. Wonderful crew, with a knowledgeable and advanced-english speaking guide. Simba crew gets you in and out before the crowds arrive at all the must-see spots!

The Best.

Made many day tours around phuket but this was by far the best. Not cheap but well worth the money. Many photos and videos were taken. Seven o'clock in the morning out of the harbor with a catamaran speedboat and we were back half past three. Early so that you arrive first everywhere without other tourists. Went with a large boat with plenty of room to sit somewhere else now and then. Fast boat but you don't get seasick. And save! Thanks Harry.

Absolutely first class trip
