Magical day in paradise

This was one of my best days in Thailand!! Our trip was fantastic from start to finish! The crew was thoughtful and thorough in their preparation to make our day amazing! I recommend doing the sunrise tour as the islands are less crowded (& what better way to start your day then watching the sunrise on an island eating breakfast with just a few other people)! I also highly recommend getting the photographer as he took photos of our day without us worrying about getting pictures together. Our tour guide was Sunny and he was funny and informative about each island. Lunch was delicious and the crew kept us well hydrated with drinks and gave us snacks or fresh fruit every time we returned to the boat.

Highly recommend this V-marine tour

We had a such great trip with V-marine team~the whole trip is super organized~ the crew is very professional as well~ they worked really hard to make sure everyone is safe and happy~ we also booked the photographer session~ it’s was the best decision ever~ the photographer took so many great pictures for me and my mom~ remind us the fun and sweet trip! If you’re thinking of booking a tour- BOOK THIS ONE!! This was my 3rd Phi Phi Island tour but first time with V Marine and it was without a doubt THE BEST TOUR. Sunny - our guide, was not only the best guide but also the best human. His warmth, kindness, genuine personality, sense of humour, attentiveness, and unbelievable customer service is UNMATCHED. The remaining crew was just as fantastic- helpful, attentive and wonderful. They really do care for your safety and well-being! The boat was kept clean by the staff so that everything we got off and got back on, it’s like you were getting on the boat for the first time. The fruits offered throughout the trip were such a sweet addition! Oh my god- the lunch was FANTASTIC. What a location and the quality and breadth of food on offer was outstanding. I’ve been on two other phi phi island tours over the last 10 years, and I cannot put into words just how exquisite this experience was and so so so far beyond the other tours. We thought we took good photos until Sunny offered to take photos for us and WOW- he is one talented man! We took the Early morning Sunrise tour and we have zero regrets. The sunrise and light breakfast at Khai Island was a DREAM. So surreal. We literally had the island to ourselves and it was one of the best memories from our trip. Monkey beach was cool and another awesome part of the trip was the snorkelling experience - UNREAL. The water was clear and beautiful and full of gorgeous marine life and coral. Needless to say Phi Phi islands (Maya Beach, Pileh Cove, Phi Phi Don) were stunning. What an awesome experience to jump off and dive into these beautiful waters. Again, the crew were looking after us throughout. What a well facilitated tour with some fantastic staff!

Best Phi Phi Islands Tour

Very organized, good food and abundance of snacks! The guide was knowledgeable prompt and made sure group was on time.

The staff was excellent. Food was great. After every stop we were greeted back on the boat with beverages and light snacks and fresh fruit. The boat was super clean and it was great that it was a small group. Special touch when they had our personal items tidied and folded when we got back on also. Always keeping things in order.

A Great Experience!

This was really a great experience - private pick up and drop off to our hotel! Great team on board led by Ray from V marine tours! Good amount of time given at the various islands, and the highlight for me was the snorkling just off Phi Phi Don. The crowds are large so that’s pretty much unavoidable - but this boat has only about 12-15 people which is just fine. Some average snacks before the trip and the lunch was nit too bad, but other than that - a great experience!

Great trip, I’d recommend

I loved this trip. I don't recall noticing that there would be snorkelling at the time of booking but was pleasantly surprised that there was and the fish and coral I saw exceeded my expectations. The tour included a great lunch and although I have none, the crew were very conscientious in checking the guests for allergies and sending these on ahead. Additionally the drinks and snacks provided throughout the day were plentiful. The boat we were on was new and safe and the crew excellent. In general the time spent at each place was ideal and the only change I would have made is that we probably didn’t need an entire hour at maya beach. However I’m the kind of person that enjoys swimming and snorkelling as opposed to endless posing for instagram. As a person from a non-tipping country and never quite sure of the etiquette at the end of tours like this I thought the way the crew handled it by announcing there is a tip jar and then stepping back and allowing guests to contribute as the left the boat was a reassuring and tactful approach. This trip was great value for money and I would certainly recommend it.

Amazing tour with the best guides

Amazing tour. We had the most attentive guides ever (always paying attention if we needed water, something to eat, taking great pictures, and being punctual with every time agreed/informed). Each stop we made was more amazing than the previous! We arrived in Maya Bay it was quite early (at 08:00, when it just opened), it was not empty, but had much less people than with tours that start later. Only “warning” to give to people is: it’s a speed boat, and depending on the sea it gets very bumpy and hard to take. But compared to other speed boat tours we made it was reasonably smoother. I would definitely recommend this tour (even though it’s pricier than similar tours, for us it’s was worth it).

Brilliantly organised tour - from pick-up to arrive at Marina, on boarding arrangements - all outstanding managed. The crew were incredibly experienced knowledgeable, friendly, professional & courteous too!👏🙌👌🤗. The breakfast was fresh & plentiful, catered for Vegan/Vegetarian - thank you! Mac, the photographer was brilliant, took ridiculously breathtaking photo's , thank you. A must tour on your stay in Phuket. Highly recommended.

Worth an early start

Great day out. Sunrise on khai Island definitely worth the early start. Crew very friendly and whole day well organised and professional from pick up right through to drop off. Maya Bay and the snorkeling were also wonderful

Best island hopping trip we had.

Well organised trip and the tour guides was very knowledgeable and friendly. Wasn’t too big of a group so we seen a variety of the different islands and beaches, and managed a lot snorkelling. We opted for the extra tour photographer and was well worth it, just got the pictures now and they look very clean and professional, saves you having to worry about pictures all the time and you can just enjoy your day.

Beautiful sunrise and incredible snorkelling, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We booked this tour last minute (after a lot of umm-ing and ahh-ing) whilst on holiday in Phuket and I am SO pleased we did. It was more expensive to do the sunrise tour rather than day tour but it meant that everywhere was much quieter and we really got to enjoy each place! We were picked up from our accomodation at 5am and taken to the marine park, at their office we were provided with snacks as well as sea sickness tablets (which was a nice touch!) and a waterproof phone pouch which I believe you can use underwater but I was too scared to try! We set out and started off by watching the sunrise at Khai Nai island (a highlight!!) with breakfast provided, we then went to Maya bay on Koh Phi Phi Lay which was already quite busy considering it was so early and then went swimming off the boat near the island. After, we went to monkey beach on Koh Phi Phi Don, unfortunately there were no monkeys there for us to see but we understood that it's not a guarantee and can't be helped! We then went out to some beautiful coral reefs and went snorkelling which was amazing (another highlight). After this we had a wonderful buffet lunch at a resort on the island and had some time to relax. They were very accomodating to any dietary preferences. After this, we went to Bamboo Island for the last stretch of the tour to relax and do some more snorkelling if we wanted. Here we saw small blacktip reef sharks and some colourful schools of fish! At the end of the tour we were picked up from the marina and taken back to our hotel. We didn't feel rushed at all, it felt like we spent the right amount of time at each island, and we got two opportunities to snorkle! Our tour guide Sunny was great and gave us lots of stories about the origin of each island, he also provided snacks and cold drinks on the boat which was a nice surprise as it was so hot! Really pleased we decided to do this tour, and worth the early start and extra money to really appreciate each island. Thank you Sunny and team for an unforgettable experience!

Recommend the sunrise trip

We did the sunrise trip and loved it! The 5am start was worth it for cooler temperatures and less crowded beaches. The boat crew was so helpful, especially as we got on and off the boat throughout the day. P was our guide and made the trip fun and informative!

Cruise Shore Excursion Not To Miss!! 🌴

Wow, what an amazing experience touring the Phi Phi islands with this company for our 1-day cruise stop in Phuket. The setting is unbelievable, a true paradise. Exactly as you see in photos without filters or photoshop! These beaches are surreal! The drive to and from pickup location is about 30 mins and the Phi Phi islands are about an hour to and from on the boat. Goodies was our guide and he was just amazing!! Probably my favorite tour guide EVER! The boat staff was also helpful and friendly. We had the photography package and were the only ones from our group so we had him all to ourselves and he was so friendly, took soooo many pictures and videos, even while snorkeling underwater! They kept us fed throughout the day. Snacks/drinks after snorkeling, very nice buffet lunch, and fresh fruit/drinks after each stop. Restaurant where lunch takes place has a full bar for alcoholic drinks; they take credit cards. For snorkeling they provide new sealed mouthpieces. Entrance fee can be paid with your company with credit card or cash. We were back to the transfer bus by 4:30pm and made it to cruise marina by 5:08pm with over 50 mins to spare before making it to the last tender boat to cruise ship at 6pm. Overall, 10/10 experience. This company definitely knows what they’re doing; so organized with a process for everything. Please bring cash (even in your currency) for tips, these guys work VERY HARD! For cruisers reference: Our ship was the Celebrity Millenium which docked at the Patong Pier. We had to meet the V. Marine team at the 7-11 store which was a 7 minute walk from tender boat drop off between 7:50am-8am…so if your cruise opens the tender ticket pickup onboard at 7am, be sure to be the first ones there. We were handed group 6 which for us meant we were getting on the 2nd tender boat to the pier — and we barely made it on time for pick up at the 7-11 @ 7:52am. Boat trip of a lifetime

Had an amazing day with my husband & kids aged 3 & 9. No waiting around & very slick organised set up. The tour guide was really knowledgeable & the other boat staff were fantastic. Would 100% recommend

Beautiful Chaos

Do not the Title fool you... This trip was amazing. The water was soooo blue. The sites are breath taking. The chaos comes from the amount of people at each site. When you arrive there are so many people getting ready for their tours. They offer snacks and what will happen at each site. The main rule is be on time. Bring a small bag with dry clothes/a towel/and slip on flip flops. Getting to the first site takes about 90 mins on the speed boat. the boat has water and snacks mainly fruit and little cakes/ Once to the first site it will busy. There will be lots of people there. Theres so swimming there. get to the shore get your pictures and walk around. There is a small snack bar there (cash only) the 2nd site is where you see the monkeys (hopefully) we saw some and got some pretty good pictures. 3rd was going for lunch on a different island. lunch was simple but tasty. After we went snorkeling and the 4th we went to another beach to hang out. Overall everything was great.

Cannot recommend this tour enough!!!

Choose a sunrise tour to beat the crowds at the beach. We got to see what’s literally like a child’s drawing of a sunrise!! Booked it an evening prior (fortunately wasn’t sold out!), and logistics were smooth as butter. On time pick up, big & comfortable transport, we even got a photographer who would have covered us during the entire duration of the tour (even underwater) for 50 USD only. Unfortunately, after sunrise and breakfast at Khai beach, our tour got cancelled because of bad weather conditions. Got the entire money back within 3 days in original source of payment. We insisted to pay partly for the pictures. Our guide Sunny (not Rainy, he said :)) was super sweet and entertaining (didn’t speak unnecessarily). Even the cancelled tour was one of the highlights of our trip!!

The Phi Phi Islands did not disappoint. Boat crew we very client focused and day was planned well. Food was good.

Phi Phi Island Tour Review

The team were fun and insightful about the island. The only only feedback I would give is that they should ask guests if they have snorkled before and give a quick tutorial on how to use the snorkel gear and warn them about the sea lice! Lunch was yummy and swimming after Maya Island is the best! So peaceful and a great way to end the tour.

Great boat tour! Amazing guides, modern boat and full amenities

Tour was great, our guide Sunny was so friendly, attentive, and made us all laugh and feel comfortable even if the sunrise tour starts super early. He really made the tour come to life, and even gave us some good clubbing spots in Patong afterwards. Maya beach is unavoidable but a shame because you can’t swim, however the early tour means that you beat the crowds. Lunch was a thai buffet provided at a beachfront hotel and there was plenty of time to rest afterwards. The boat was super modern, had a bathroom, and plenty of space. Waterproof phone cases, flippers, snorkelling gear and snacks (watermelon and pomelo, so good) were provided + water and soft drinks throughout the day. All in all a great tour, would recommend!

Sunrise - amazing less crowds

We did the sunrise tour, it is a very early start (we were picked up at 4:30 am from patong beach area) and we got back to the hotel around 3pm but absolutely worth it. Sunny our guide was very good, funny and informative, the tour felt very safe and well organised. The sunrise on the beach was definitely worth the early start, you also beat a lot of the crowds to the sight seeing spots which is an added bonus. All of the places you visit are beautiful and you see some amazing sights snorkelling. The food both breakfast and lunch was very tasty and good quality. There are also plenty of snacks and drinks on board the boat to keep everyone comfortable and happy. The only thing I would say about the tour is because you are crossing open sea it can be quite choppy and bumpy (absolutely nothing the crew can do to prevent this) but if you get easily motion sick it’s something to consider. Overall excellent tour 5/5 highly recommend to anyone considering!

Fantastic Boat tour

The boat trip starts early but that is the best time to beat the crowds, our guide was great and told us about the itinerary before we left the office to join the boat, he also told us about the history and names of all the island we visited.there was time to view/ swim / snorkel at all locations and lunch was provided at a hotel on phi phi gran that was superb. We left around 0600 and docked back at 1430. This is a great organised tour we had around 20 people that filled our medium sized, but very fast boat ( the number of people was just right in my opinion not too many like some of tge boats we had seen)) Both my wife and I enjoyed it extremely and would advise anyone to give it go

Awesome trip

We had an awesome time, trip was well structured. Definitely recommend. Organizer spoke good English and was always trying to communicate with us at all times. Will definitely do this again next time.

More crowded and less private than Phang Nga Bay

Remember this is high season…We were picked up by van with a few other couples and transferred to the Royal Marina. It was a madhouse and chaotic as there were several other tours organizing and departing at the same time from the same place. There was a moment to use the restroom and get our colored ticket so we knew what tour to organize with. We got on a nice speed boat with our group of 18. It was in nicer shape than another company I recently used for island hopping. The crew was nice and very helpful and there was an onboard toilet for “small business”. The ride out to the Phi Phi Islands was an hour and since it was choppy and windy it was an hour of being slammed up and down. Would not recommend this trip for anyone with heart issues or neck and back issues. It was not the worst boat ride I’ve ever been on but it was not the most pleasant transfer either. The first stop was a national park, there were a lot of people there. Our package included a personal photographer (who had a nice DLSR camera) so he took a few photos of in front of a long boat and on some rocks. He was very nice. We had Mac. We had enough time to use a gross bathroom and buy and ice cream and wait around to get back on the boat. This was my least favorite stop. Then we went to a snorkel spot which was beautiful somewhere off Bamboo island. The stop for lunch was on Phi Phi Don at a Holiday Inn. The beach was beautiful, and there was a pool and places to sit and enjoy the view. But the lunch buffet was just blah. Thai buffet. I didn’t eat much so was kind of hungry all day. At least on the boat they provide you with coconut cake bars and a little fruit and ample water bottles. There was a quick fix pit stop to a super overcrowded beach to see a bunch of monkeys. There was barely any standing room it was so crowded. We stopped to visit Maya Bay and there were SO MANY boats full of tourists that I was turned off to getting off the boat. Everyone was headed up a case of stairs like herded cattle so I was the only one to stay on the boat. I was glad I did. I got an hour of quiet. The boat crew took the boat to park near an empty cove. I was able to enjoy a gorgeous private view from the bow of our boat and watch schools of tropical colorful fish. Whenever everyone was done hiking 40 minutes to see this overcrowded beach from the movie the Beach (which I’ve seen) they all came back, then the boat went over to the water just across from the SAME beach and we were able to jump into the water from the bow to go swimming. I did not because everyone who did complained of itching and burning. One fellow said they were sea lice and I had just dried off from snorkeling hours earlier so I opted out. Overall this trip was crowded and the stops were nowhere near as nice as the boat tour I had the day before out to the Phang Nga Bay islands (James Bond tours). I’m don’t regret going but if I had only enough time for island hopping one day, I would choose Phang Nga Bay island hopping.

Phi Phi Islands Excursion

Our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids ages 7-13) enjoyed this. The water was quite choppy so those who get motion sick easy should beware. They did have pills at check in that were available and we brought our own meds/wristbands. The "exclusive small group" is 20 people which I don't recall seeing anywhere in the description. Notably, since 10 was the max one could book, this was a surprise when we arrived. Most other boats leaving the marina seemed to have 25+ people. Each stop was quite crowded with other tourists from other boats which was to be expected but be aware. Talking a photo without lots of other people in it is not going to be easy. We were able to get off at Monkey Beach and take pictures and videos of the macaque monkeys, which we were told was exclusive to this tour group. The lunch was great and they easily accommodated dietary restrictions in our group (vegetarian and gluten free). Snorkeling was okay, but if you have snorkeled elsewhere with well developed reefs you'll likely not be impressed. Some members of the group saw red tipped reef sharks which was fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see some of the smaller islands off the coast of Thailand.

Professionalism made PiPi Early Morning Enjoyable

A really professional team led by “P” made the early morning Pi Pi Island tour very enjoyable. At each step a clear explanation was given, so the 20 strong group stayed on time. The fast boat looked as new, & when they had a problem with the propeller, the crew has a new prop on in 5 mins … still in time to see the sun rise. Maya beach was still crowed, but the snorkelling & coral exceeded our expectations. Food on board & lunch was good, & we were back by 3pm with time to relax @ our resort before dinner. A really enjoyable well run tour.

We had an amazing time on the tour! The tour guide was great & the whole tour was very well planned & executed. We had enough time to snorkel & enjoy the beaches. There were small details that were taken care of like water & snacks.

Best tour I have ever done in Thailand. This was my 3rd Phi Phi island tour over the years and this intenary was by far the best. The small group was perfect, the boat was uncrowded and each stop had ample time to explore and enjoy. Sunny and the crew were great and we also selected the photography option in which Yod our camera man was great! It's a must do for everyone

Best Phi Phi Island Excursion

Great trip even with cloudy weather and a lot of waves. Professional tour team with anti sea sick meds, fruit, water, and equipment supplied. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect from Beginning to End

The service was so friendly and efficient. We never wanted for anything. Breakfast and sunrise on the first Island was great. Lots of choice. Then hours of swimming and snorkelling. The boat wasn't over crowded only 15 passengers to about 5 staff. Snorkelling gear was well maintained. New mouth guards for everyone. If you aren't a confident swimmer they have life jackets and noodles. Lunch was in a hotel resort and had all the Thai favourites. Drinks available all day with fruit always on offer. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Go early and beat all the crowds. I get very sea sick but took a tablet before I left and one with lunch and I was fine. Very professional operation.

Not an IG experience for Phi Phi

Let me preface we are an American couple visiting for the first time We were picked up on time but because we had to pick up others, we were late because our driver picked up wrong passengers Finally arrived at Marina but too late to enjoy the coffee and snacks . Few bananas and cookies was “breakfast “ They were about 17 of us , mostly Asian and one family . And the speedboat was covered but felt tight and very loud . Not a relaxing experience, it was just to get to the island quickly which meant a one hour ride seated The crew was nice enough but English was very poor so .. no real education on the islands or history . Only the lead guy offered to take a few pics . We went first to the Phi Phi islands and swam and snorkeled for an hour or so . Then went to monkey island for 15 min or so to swim . Then to lunch at Hilton island with other your groups . The food was abysmal. Mostly cold . Rice , pad Thai , watered Tom yum soup and fried chicken and I think fish . Then we took a dip in the ocean but weren’t warned of possible jellyfish. So we got stung badly ! Our guide gave us some calamine but that ended it for me . Then headed to another island to chill and snorkel. Finally ride back was extremely rocky so bring medicine If I did it over I’d rent a private long boat Get your beautiful pics and enjoy your ride one on one . Or go all out and get on a catamaran or yacht .

Best tour by far and the best tour crew - Sunrise Phi Phi Island Tour

The sunrise tour was amazing, very well organised I don’t think there is a better tour than this. This experience was perfect, our tour guide Sunny was honestly the best he went above and beyond for us so genuine and so friendly he definitely made the tour a 10/10. Sunny and his tour crew were the best of the best couldn’t of done any better. Wish them all the best.

Phi Phi Island Tour - Beautiful view

This tour was so amazing. We visited multiple islands and the staff on the boat was extremely friendly and helpful. It rained majority of the tour however we cannot fault the staff. They tried to accommodate us and make sure we were still comfortable and had fun. The lunch that was provided at the resort could use some improvement but it was buffet style which is expected. The boat staff kept our shoes the entire time even when we requested them upon arrival at the resort for lunch as this was the only stop we could use the restroom. There is a photographer there that charged an additional $50 for photos taken. I loved how he took pictures of the scenery so we wouldn't have to however would have been nice to get more photos of us. It was more people than expected on the boat yet it was still not over crowded. My favorite part about the tour was when we finally made it to Phi Phi island. The view was well worth it and it finally stopped raining.

enjoyable day trip to Phi phi islands.

Well organised and smoothly run day out to the Phi phi islands. Provided plenty of refreshments and a good lunch, and although the islands were busy, Sunny and the team got us into each destination before most of the other boats. Sunny was a great guide, good English and a really friendly personality. Rough ride back to Phuket on the choppy sea, but all in all a very enjoyable trip.

Unforgettable Phi Phi Island Tour

We had such a fantastic boat tour and couldn’t recommend this experience enough! We did a lot of in depth research into which boat tour/islands we wanted to visit, landed on this one, and it surpassed all of our expectations. Sexy Goodie was our tour guide and led such an amazing trip, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Awesome experience

It was an awesome experience. We would highly recommend this company and tour. Just keep in mind the weather has a lot to do with it. We were blessed with a good weather and a great crew. Sunny and the crew did a great job in keeping us informed and safe. The boat was always clean and neat. Drinks and snacks was provided throughout the trip.
