Great way to see the seals

Catamaran was very comfortable, we got to see the seals up close. Voiceover was very informative, snacks provided also. Staff were amazing.

Disaster

The fact that due to travel complications we did not arrive in time on the day I approached the office and they refused to allow us even 1 Adult as opposed to 6 people 5 adults and a child all the way from Sweden and Canberra to squeeze on the boat the next day or Friday 5th so very disappointed and I thought that was inconsiderate. Consequently, the family fare flying to Sweden and Canberra tomorrow and that is a lot of money in today's financial complexities.

The cruise crew members were very co-operative.

The guide announcement and watching seal experience was more attractive. We enjoyed the Scenery on the way to seal rock. It was a fantastic trip .

This was a great trip to se the seals up close , tour guide/ captain ( Tom ) was great with the amount of information given , thank you to all the crew how were all great in making our journey a memorable one 🙂

Unique and affordable.

The cruise out to the rocks was safe, the views amazing. The staff on board were very friendly and professional. seeing the seal in their natural environment was breath taking i would do this trip again and again.

Must do on Philip Island!

We went with our kids and they both loved it. Captain was very skillful and brought us very close to the seal rock where we saw hundreds of seals in their natural habitat doing what they were best at: surfing, sunbathing, socializing and diving. The staff on the boat was friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. We would definitely do it again in the future. Even if you are not a huge fan of the seals, the ride out from Cowes to the seal rock is worth the price itself!

Amazing customer service, many seals to watch. The colony is ashort ride away from port phillip. We stop long enough for pictures and videos

Good and bad

Overall the staff were friendly however the wheelchair accessibility was pretty much non existent which is disgusting for this day and age.

It was amazing how close we got to the seals. Really enjoyed the cruise it something we had talked about doing for years, am so glad we did it.

Fantastic opportunity to view wild seals

Fantastic two hour cruise that also goes past the Nobbies and multiple beaches along Phillip Island. We spent quite a bit of time at Seal Rock, which was fabulous as we got to watch hundreds of seals jumping and playing in the water; some even came up to the boat for a sniff. Only downside: I was a bit annoyed to be offered a professional 'boarding photo', only to be told later that it would cost an extra $15 to take home. Given that the cruise is already over $80, I would have thought something like that would be included; maybe inform guests before taking the photo that there is a charge?

I had the best day on their seal rocks tour. It was amazing. They have coffee and drink on board and you can purchase soft drinks. They also served us cake and have colouring in for the kids. Highly recommend

The cruise was fantastic and the driver was very skilled at managing the choppy waters. The boat was nice, well presented etc.

Excellent

Excellent boat trip to see Australia’s largest wild seal area! Saw many close up and yet still at respectable distance. The Captain provided lots of information… tea, coffee and cake was appreciated as we were hungry after… excellent safety information provided.. windy and cold of course when motoring around.. Took some sea sick tablets prior, in case (was a bit rough at times) which helped….

Happy to see seals n their natural habitat, suntanning on rocks and swimming/playing in the water.

Thrilled to be close enough without disturbing the seals. Interesting snippets of information from the crew as well. On the downside, there's an expectation of a proper afternoon tea where there's really only coffee /tea and a slice of cake, maybe not worth mentioning next time.

Excellent move to see close up with seals must go adventure if your are visiting Phillip island . The cruise staff were so friendly and provided Vital information about all animals ( whale,penguins.seals )

Great Trip to see the Seals

A great experience from the booking through to on board the boat. The weather was not the best on our trip out but fined up for our arrival at Seal Rocks. All the crew were great, super friendly & knowledgeable. We had plenty of time to observe the seals and get photos before the return to port and as an added bonus, the Captain spotted a pod of whales for us to watch for a few minutes. The crew also provided kids with an activity sheet & crayons to keep them busy for the return leg. Would highly recommend if planning a visit to Phillip Island

Seals Galore!

The seals were the best part, of course! But the whole trip was lovely, as were the cruise staff, and the captain, Michael. We had such a great time, even though the weather was quite bouncy and windy on the way out there and whilst with the seals, they were very playful, and it was amazing!! The only feedback I'd like to offer is that it would be great if the boat had lots more handrais/handhold all over for the rough weather :)

Seal Heaven!

What a great way to spend the afternoon! We had a lovely cruise out to the seal colony. It was great to see the seals in their habitat and to get some interesting facts from the crew. It was a really worthwhile experience!

Team work at its best

Excellent experience the team were very professional and they obviously love their job. If we lived closed we would go more often such a wonderful natural site. We will be back in the future 😃

Fun trip to see the seals

We thoroughly enjoyed our boat cruise out to seal rock to see the seals up close. Loved seeing the baby seals playing in the water. Crew were all friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the seals. Weather was a bit rough but that added to the fun of the boat trip. When we reached seal rock they were able to find a sheltered part so we could comfortably watch the seals. Would definitely recommend.

Very disappointing

We were not happy with the price as was not offered discounts for group of 5 or more and pensioner discounts. We spoke to the people at Philip Island and they said it should have been stated on your website. If we had these discounts it would have saved our group which was mai ly pensioners at least 96.00. And for that price we paid morning tea was a bit disappointing.

Staff were fantastic It was an exciting experience It was amazing to see all of the seals and have information about the history of the surrounding area

Disappointed

The cruise was cancelled because of the weather, we did not go there. And also I have not found how to get full refund.

Seal Ferry

We caught the ferry from Crib Point & back again. The afternoon ferry departed Cowes @ 3:45 & the seal ferry returned to Cowes @ 4:00. This meant we had to sit around for 2 hours either end of our trip. Such poor organisation. We did this trip nearly 2 years ago & were thrilled to view the seals. This time there were very few in the water.

A MUST!

This is one of our favourite things to do when in the island! It’s an amazing scenic boat ride and the seals are just so adorable. This is one that is truly fantastic for the whole family and the boat crew are so awesome. We’ve been so many times but it never gets old. We highly recommend!

Incredible sight, so many seals, so close up!

Despite a slightly choppy sea, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Nice to have such caring staff on the boat for those not used to the sea conditions. It was fine on the way back! Wouldn't have missed it tho'!

Captain Michael was the highlight, along with the Seals of course :)

The captain, the crew (only remember Jess and Jess) were top notch, focusing on safety and comfort of the passengers, Captain Michael has all the kids on the boat actually steering the boat, all kids were handed certificates, this was really highly appreciated. The tour itself to see the Seals was quite nice, you really do get to see them upclose, couldn't have felt more welcomed by the smiling crew, you can really feel that captain/crew have passion about what they were doing. I did appreciate how Captain Michael was raising awareness about the environment as well as his advices on how to really make Australia able to feed itself and how to support our local hardworking farmers, kudos! Thanks for a very memorable trip, we will definitely do it again.

Amazing Seal Colony

This is a must do activity if you are visiting Philip Island. Cruise ride is very eventful and informative. Tour cost is $85 per person and it's worth spending this amount to get the experience.

Amazing fun

Incredible staff. So friendly and fun. Comfy seats. Captain John and his team were so knowledgeable. Can’t recommend it enough. Water can get a little choppy but they sent out a message long beforehand to say so. Afternoon tea was really yummy. Our teenage son had a ball. Looking forward to booking another cruise with them next time we go down.

Very pleasant experience!

The staff were very friendly and informative even bringing around some cake slices to the passengers. The seal viewing was fun (so many seals!) and the crew provided lots of information about the seals/pups. Would definitely recommend!

Closeness to the seals still respecting their space. Friendliness of staff in answering questions.

I was not going to go - only my Sister would - when in the last minute, I decided to leave my dog on his own for 3 hours, and join her. I do not regret it!!!...It is one more experience in Phillip Island that gets us closer to the non-human animals. And the more we know about them, the more the chances of respecting them in their habitats and protecting them. My learning increased from talking to Brownie, one of the helpful boat hostesses. We exchanged views about climate change. And I learned from her a few things about seals...How lucky we are in having our planet!! We have the obligation to care about the vunerable!!! Thank you Brownie!!!...Thank you Phillip Island Seal-Watching Cruise!!!...

It rained, it was cold... and it was fantastic.

We went on a day where it was cold, rainy and windy for the majority... the sea was a tad bumpy and my wife and son got a little motion sick... but we all had such a fantastic time! The tour guide on the mic was fantastic- very informative. Seals are one of my favourite animals, and I learnt even more than I knew. We spent quite some time watching the seals, with the trip back nice and quiet, almost soothing. We watched the seal rocks disappear into the distance (as we had the seats facing the back). And to boot the crew took a fantastic family photo of us. So worth the price!

Don’t miss this cruise!

Wildlife Cruises does an excellent job, safe, knowledgeable, friendly. They love what they do and it shows. Going out to see the amazing seal colony, watching them interact with each other, the bulls strutting their stuff, the beautiful cows on their rocky islands off the coast of Phillip Island, we even saw a lone penguin, don’t miss it!

A must-do!

It was such an amazing experience to get up close to so many seals in their natural environment and everyone on board was in awe of these beautiful creatures. The crew were all friendly and would chat to you about the seals - they clearly love their job (who wouldn't)! I would highly recommend it and will likely do it again myself of my next trip tp Phillip Island.
