Best of all the tours we experiences. Our host, Joris Cordell was intelligent, knowledgeable, and funny as heck and made the tour that much better. The scenery was stunning, the weather beautiful and the ride relatively flat. We all had a great time at the Market, with the other guests, seeing the palace and learning some unique aspects to French history. Absolutely recommend, especially if you are lucky enough to have Joris (Joe) as your guide!

Delightful Day

Joris was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He made the tour a delight despite the cloudy day and light showers. The bicycle tour was a fun way to see the grounds of Versailles and made it possible to see just about everything.

Best tour of the palace out there

Irving was the Best!!! He was so kind and informative. My husband had lots of questions and Irving not only didn't mind being constantly bombarded with them, but also knew all the answers! We go to see so much more of the grounds being on bikes and it is the only way I would ever see the palace if we ever come back. I recommend this tour to everyone.

Great tour with Michael!

We had a great time and got some exercise as well visiting this historically important and interesting area. Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Had a great time and would recommend to friends and family!

Great value, brilliant experience- just do it!

Excellent guide {Joe) and a really fun experience. Meeting was easy at Saint-Lazare station, the train journey pleasant, easy short walk through Versailles to the market, the market itself was excellent and we spent a fortune on our picnic ingredients (because there was so much amazing choice), and then we picked up our bikes around 10am. We loved biking around the palace grounds with the rest of the group (14 of us) in the forest and by the lake. Marie Antoinette's ‘village’ and farm was lovely and pretty but looked like it was build in the last 50 years for a film set and so didn’t feel legitimate. You don’t actually go to the palace until gone 3pm, at which point your guide leaves you for the remainder of the day so you can self-explore. Unfortunately this doesn’t give you enough time to explore the gardens and the palace, however the overall experience was excellent. The palace itself is mind blowing in scale and ostentatiousness - it really does need to be seen to be believed. Sadly we didn’t see the gardens as we ran out of time. Versailles itself is a very attractive town, really lovely to walk around and good places to eat and drink. We left around 8pm, it was a long but highly enjoyable day and worth every penny

Best experience at Versailles

We recently took a family tour of Versailles, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our tour guide, Michael, was exceptional. His deep knowledge of all the sites we visited enriched our understanding and appreciation of this historical gem. Michael was not only well-versed in the history and significance of each location, but he was also incredibly patient and kind, ensuring that everyone in our group felt comfortable and engaged throughout the tour. His enthusiasm and passion for the subject were evident, making the entire experience both educational and enjoyable. We would highly recommend this tour, especially with Michael as your guide. His expertise and friendly demeanor truly made our visit to Versailles memorable.

Absolutely worth it!

What an awesome experience! It was super easy to rendezvous at the meeting place and our tour guide Michael was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole experience. We travelled as a family with two kids, 8 & 10, who found the biking extremely manageable and we honestly couldn’t have imagined covering that much ground at Versailles any other way. The kids said that food tasting & shopping at the market before the tour was their favorite part, along with the picnic! So so so worth it! Added bonus, by the time you arrive to the actual Palace to go inside, much of the crowds have died down.

He was friendly and personable and gave us all a memorable experience, seeing places which independent traveĺlers wouldn't see. He is asset to your company and this tour was a great way to see 95% of Versailles.

Versailles Bike Tour

Arnault was awesome .. We had a great time (8 of us) Paris train to Versailles easy pray, Farmers Market in Versailles was amazing. Biking was easy, broken up by informative and funny facts from Arnault. Picnic from Farmers Market goodies was a highlight. Versailles Palace very busy but worth it. All day tour, back to Paris at around 5:30PM

A beautiful day in Versailles!

From the very beginning when we met outside the Starbucks to start the day, we knew it was going to be an incredible experience. We were enthusiastically welcomed by our tour guide Joris and within minutes we’re off to Versailles. Everything is well organized and planned. Highlights were definitely shopping for lunch in the farmers market, biking through the tree lined paths of Versailles, meeting fellow bikers from around the globe and enjoying Marie Antoinette’s home. It was a joy to see the grounds beyond the Palace of Versailles and really get a grand tour of the property and park. Joris was a phenomenal guide who provided so much history and kept us engaged throughout the entire ride. What a special day and unforgettable experience!!

Highest recommendation

Wonderful visit to Versailles. It’s an entire day so plan accordingly. Our tour guide was fantastic and we have plenty of time to soak in the gardens and grounds of Versailles.

Phenomenal tour of Versailles

Phenomenal tour! Very well hosted and thoroughly enjoyable. We left from Paris early in the morning, comfortable travel by train to Versailles. Excellent tour of the Versailles grounds that was a bit different than just going to the Palace. The grounds are enormous and getting a chance to see more than most in a healthy manner was most appreciated. Highly recommend to anyone.

Great way to spend the day and see the grounds of Versailles

Awesome trip! We took our two kids, 11 and 8, and they loved it! Their favorite part was the biking! Stopping at the market to pick up lunch was very easy and everyone could find something they wanted. We spent the perfect amount of time seeing the grounds. At the end the guide leaves you at the main entrance to the palace and you can go continue on to see more. Just keep in mind that it is VERY crowded to go see the hall of mirrors… it’s at least 45 min due to the crowds. So keep that in mind with kids!! By that time attention was low and we were trying to move quick.

Wonderful Day

Awesome Tour. Our guide Joe was great. We especially loved the market visit in the town of Versailles. I only have two things that could improve the tour. 1) the bikes are very old and need upgrading. 2) the guides should remind prolapse before buying lunch for picnic that wine bottles are not allowed inside of Versailles and need to be checked in a locker.

A wonderful memory maker!

This was such a fun way to see Versallies! Our tour guide Jo was the nicest guy with loads of knowledge! The stop at the market and the picnic were my favorite. However, the bike ride, gardens and castles was just as incredible! I would absolutely recommend this tour!!!!

Fantastic experience

We had one of our best days of our trip doing the Versaille Bike Tour. Jory was a fantastic guide who provided just the perfect amount of history, humor, and personality to make this memorable. We loved the stop at the market, which was far more than "just a small market near the train" and could have spent hours there alone. Seeing Versailles by bike was, in our opinion, the best and only way to really get to experience the entire grounds.

Best way to see as much as possible

The best way to transport and see as much of the Palace grounds as possible in one day. Well paced bicycle ride and included access to these historic sites.

Versailles Total Tour

The views were amazing along this trip biking all over Versailles! The first stop was at the market to buy items for lunch then we hopped on our bikes. The tour takes you to along biking paths to the very back of the Grand Canal where we stopped for a picnic lunch. After lunch we biked to the Grand Trianon then the Petit Trianon for stops to visit each area. There was plenty of time at each of these locations. After these stops we biked back to the city and returned the bicycles. A short walk to the chateau for our timed entry tour. At this point your tour guide departed and you toured on your own. There was plenty of time to see the chateau and grounds. Please keep in mind that this biking tour is not all flat and does have some hills. At times it was a bit tough biking and by the end I was ready to get back to walking. The entry to the chateau isn't until later in the afternoon after a full day of biking and lots of visitors have now entered. It might have been nice to gain entry to the chateau earlier in the day but it was such a wonderful experience to see this magnificent location!

We had a wonderful day on this tour. There was some easy bike riding and some walking. The grounds are stunning and we had a lovely picnic with supplies we bought at the market in Versailles. Our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. He gave us tips on what to target when we were at each site. We didn't feel rushed at all and had some free time at each spot. The Palace was quite crowded in some areas but for the most part everything was easily accessible. The tour was well organised, and we were fortunate to have lovely weather. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Biking, beauty, picnic & history! A day to remember.

This was an amazing day! An absolute must do. We had the most amazing guide Jo. He made this experience wonderful. Full of the best anecdotes, information & conversation. We learned so much and just had the most charming day enjoying the beauty of Versailles Palace & Grounds. It is a day we won't forget.

Unique Bike Tour

This was an amazing tour (despite the rain). The tour was unique and we rode over 12 miles! It was a great time and “Jo” was fun and knowledgeable. Loved it so much!

Amazing day in Versailles

We had an amazing time and the tour lived up to our expectations. We were fortunate that the weather held up and we had a lovely picnic. Michaël was a GREAT guide. Everything was perfect. My only deception is that the fountains weren’t working…this was my third time visiting Versailles and they never seem to be working :(…

The bike tour was an amazing way to see the palace and the grounds. Our tour guide had a very impressive knowledge of the history and the area.

A Great Way to Tour Versailles!

A great way to cover a lot of ground, fun too riding bicycles, even though it was wet most of the day. Our guide (Antoine?) was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The only disappointment was the King’s bedroom was closed for renovation in the Palace. Hopefully, it will be open again soon 🤞

Great tour with an awesome guide

Our guide, Jovis, was exceptional - informative and a great story teller, and just plain FUN. The gardens were great and we had plenty of time to see and do things. Great tour, highly recommended.

Must do!!!

Highlight of our trip! It was such a delightful time. Communication start to finish was excellent and the whole process seamless. We are a very active family of five and loved every minute of this tour. It was a nice easy ride and broken up so well with incredible information and history. So many things we all learned! My kids LOVED it too. Ages 10,12,13. The farmers market picnic was amazing. Our guide Irven was top notch and he gets all the gold stars for engaging so much with my 13 year old son who loves history. Definitely recommend this tour. It’s GREAT!

Bike Tour of Versailles

Such a unique way to see Versailles! Loved our guide "Tibo", spelled differently. He was great, helpful and communicative!

Simply amazing!

I could not recommend this tour more! Our tour guide, Joris, was simply amazing and we had such a great time hanging out with him and learning all the history of the former monarchy in France. We met some great people in our group from all over the world and we all enjoyed the trip and company.

Amazing day!

Had a fantastic day with friends on this tour with Guillaume as our guide. He was great - friendly, knowledgeable and very entertaining. The bikes were comfortable and the terrain easy to navigate. Bikes have saddle bags and ponchos in case of rain (can also be used for sitting on during the picnic). The market was lovely and we were able to get all the ingredients for a delicious lunch. We really enjoyed le hameau de la reine. We were quite tired by the time we reached the palace, but that probably had more to do with staying up too late the night before! I recommend getting a good night’s sleep before the tour :) All in all it was a very memorable day and I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Great bike tour in Versailles

Very well organized tour. Informative and enjoyable. We are glad we went on this tour and felt it was worth the price we paid. Our tour guide, Irving, was excellent.

A must.

It was a wonderful tour. One of the best things we did while in Paris. The farmers market was amazing. And the joy of having our picnic on the grounds with our goodies from the market ! The only downside we had a family in our group with very young children. This is not a tour for young kids. You are biking through city streets. This delayed the pace making the end prize of touring the palace very rushed. Our guide was amazing informative and ver patient.

Irving was a great guide. He was genuine, kind and knowledgeable. The tour was beautiful and a nice pace. The farmers market was incredible. All the food we bought was so fresh and delicious.

An incredible experience. This was one of the best days of my vacation. Michael, our guide, was knowledge, kind and patient. The bikes were in great condition! It was a small group which allowed us to interact easily. From the market preview, to the glorious landscape, and many sites; we were left breathless and joyful in the best ways.

So much more special than a typical tour

What a fantastic day! We loved doing something a little different than the typical tour. Picnicking on the grounds of Versailles was truly special and something not too many people can say they have done!

Relaxed and fun day at Versailles

We had a wonderful day on our bike tour of Versailles. Our guide Clementine was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of useful information. It was a relaxed day and we enjoyed the chance to shop at the market to get some beautiful food for a picnic. Riding the bikes was an excellent way to see the huge area away from crowds for most of the day.

Phenomenal way to experience Versailles!

Irving was an informative and engaging guide! We even popped 2 tires and he didn’t even skip a beat. Learned more than I could have imagined and so glad we did it - wish we had more time in the day!

Antoine was GREAT and guided through a LONG day!

Antoine was the BEST! He took time to explain everything and made sure the group was safe and stayed together! It was a BIG day! By the time we got into the Palace, it was a bit rushed. I could have spent more time there if we had split this day into two days! Overall, an EXCELLENT experience! Again, Antoine was a GREAT guide!

Fun history trip

Our tour guide Aaron was fantastic very knowledgeable about the history while making it fun. We got to see so much of the grounds and buildings. Aaron went the extra by having a bottle opener and cups to have wine with lunch totally worth the trip

This tour was a great way to see all of the Palace of Versailles. We went on a Sunday which was Versailles farmers market, and had time to grab food and peruse the market to find any goods for our picnic. Our tour guide Aaron was funny and knowledgeable about the history and the Lou Lou’s. I highly recommend taking this tour and if you have the opportunity to get Aaron, do it!

A whimsical ride through history

Joris was our guide, and he made this a perfect day. The tour was well organized and punctual. They have everything ready for you when you arrive at the meet point, so it's hassle free. After the train to Versailles, shopping at the market for the picnic was fun and exciting. You can pretty much get anything you'd like. The bikes were in good working order and they were easy enough to maneuver thru the streets and eventually the park. Joris was very personable and engaging throughout the entire day. He saw my wife was cold, and offered his jacket and scarf for her. Such a gentleman. This was the best tour we've done in Europe over the last couple weeks, and Joris is a big part of that. Fantastic tour and a great way to see the ground of the Palace of Versailles. 10/10. Don't hesitate, book now!!

If you can ride a bike, you can do it!

The Queen’s Hamlet is gorgeous! Biking around the palace grounds was easy. I’m sure it was cheaper than a tram or golf cart. T’was a must try experience!
