Incredible tour of Rodin Museum with Belen

We did the private tour of Musee Rodin with Belen. The tour was absolutely wonderful. Belen is incredibly warm, friendly, funny, knowledgeable and more than anything, very passionate! We truly felt that we got so much more out of the museum having experienced it with a guide and I genuinely learned so many things. I would highly recommend!

Rodin Museum - great afternoon

The Rodin museum was incredible - the gardens, the building, and the art were one of our favourite places in Paris. Our guide Barbara was outstanding -- her knowledge of art history, and Rodin in particular was excellent. Her awe and love of art and history was a pleasure to learn from. Malaika - Guide Extraordinaire

Malaika was a wonderful guide to the Rodin Museum, she took us on the most thought-provoking exploration of Rodin's most important works. She was wonderful at telling stories, taking us through Rodin's life and work to paint us a picture of life in Paris during the turn of the centruy, without giving us a dry recitation of facts. We can't wait to book with her again!

Comprehensive tour

Excellent tour of the Rodin museum and its collections. Our guide, Dunya, is studying art history at the graduate level and had an exhaustive knowledge of Rodin’s works and life in the cultural context of 19th and early 20th century Paris. We had seen several Rodin sculptures and plasters earlier in the Musée D’Orsay as well as many works by rodin’s friends and colleagues and our guide was able to seamlessly integrate and discuss those works in context of explaining Rodin’s progression as an artist and the influences on his development, from antiquity to contemporaries to his loves and lovers. My partner and I both have doctorate degrees and are not easily impressed, but we had a delightful experience.

Unique experience

The house and the gardens are very beautiful and the life, works and collections of Rodin very evocative and interesting. Tanya our guide is extremely knowledgeable and freely shared that knowledge including visual aids which were very helpful. She also provided great context so we could make connections to the time and contemporaries of Rodin, as well as past and future tours of other museums. However what was most memorable is that unfortunately I had a medical episode during the tour. Our guide Tanya was so kind and caring doing everything in her power to take care of me and make sure I was ok. I am truly grateful.

Wonderful and interesting tour!

My friend and I knew very little about Rodin when we came for our tour. Lucien did a great job of telling the back-stories on the sculptures to give us a real feel for what life was like for Rodin and what inspired each piece of art. We would highly recommend this tour because it gives you the knowledge to really appreciate Rodin's work from many angles.

Tour Guide Lucien was very knowledgable about the Rodin Museum, history, art in general. Would highly recommend this tour. HE was so good there we other visitors that hooked onto his narration throughout almost the entire tour. he was personable, engage with all in our group and brought Rodin to life -- content we'll forever remember. And full of surprises.

Wonderful Experience!

Our guide, Lucien, was by far the very best guide we had on our entire trip to the Loire Valley and Paris! We took many guided tours and we wished Lucien could have been our guide for every tour. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, friendly and funny. He also spoke perfect English. The museum and gardens were beautiful and it was fascinating to learn about Rodin's life. Highly recommend this hidden gem and if you can request Lucien as your guide, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic Experience!

Taylor was very knowledgeable about Rodin and his works and gave us an amazing, private tour of the Rodin museum! She was wonderful and informative and we would not have enjoyed Rodin's works nearly as much without the knowledge she shared with us! She was extremely kind and helpful. We did a few guided tours and Taylor was the absolute best! I wish we would have booked all of our guided tours with her!

GREAT tour of the Rodin Museum

We had a wonderful private tour of the Rodin Museum in German with our guide Marcel. Although I had already read up on Rodin before our trip, my girlfriend and I learned so much new stuff. Marcel made his tour so pleasant and answered all of our questions brilliantly. He also showed lots of pictures and provided lots of explanatory quotes from Rodin's time. He really is an art historian with a talent for getting other people excited about his subject. If you don't just want to take pictures of Rodin's thinker, but want to understand this great artist, this tour is highly recommended. We were simply satisfied with the museum and our guide Marcel, and there were no complaints.
