Our tour guide Lina was INCREDIBLE! We sampled macrons, baguette, chocolate, cheeses and meats, all wonderful and delicious. We learned about Montmartre and walked the streets like locals. The highlight were the scrumptious crepes she guided us to. Our family of 7 ages 50-14 all highly recommend this amazing tour!

Montmart Magic with “Mo”

We did the Montmatre Food Tour and it was amazing. Our guide Mohammad (Mo) was super knowledgeable and got us the best tasting food in the neighborhood. I wish I had booked this tour early in my vacation so that I would have more knowledge selecting bakeries and shops during my whole stay.

A delicious learning adventure!

Our tour guide, Loana Alexandra, was very knowledgeable of the area and the food and wine. I was delighted to learn about the history of the traditional baguette vs. the grocery variety—and the texture and taste are different! Also got bro eat a crepe from the best creperie in Paris! Sharing our “finds” in a group dinner was the crowning event. A delicious adventure and learning experience largely because of Loana!

Fabulous Tour!!!

I can honestly say that we've never taken a tour like this in the past...a walking food tour. How does that work? The reviews were good and we wanted to visit Montmart, so we decided, "why not?". What a great decision. Our guide was spectacular: highly knowledgeable of Paris and French food...in perfect English. At each stop, she explained a bit about the history and culture associated with the particular food item. The macaroons, chocolate, and crepes were fantastic. The tour culminated in a private room with wine, cheese, cured meats, and the best bread I've ever had. With each pairing, our guide explained the origins of the food with some cultural antidotes. Our group of 12 were all Americans, one large family and two couples, all, from different geographies. We broke bread, had great cheeses and wine, and had the times of our life. Bravo to this great tour...my highest recommendation.

Coralie was so attentive and knowledgeable. She seemlessly wove food lore, Montmartre history and our personal stories into a wonderful tapestry of flavors and fun. Her easy style helped us converse and share our own stories and questions. The cheeses were amazing. The stops were great. The atmosphere was welcoming. I concur on the fork suggestion. It was actually humorous as I often kept the serving fork without realizing it. Oops😎.

Great experience with Lorca

We really enjoyed our food tour with Lorca. Great history of the Montmarte area. Walked from shop to shop and gathered food which we took to a secret room and then ate as a group at a very nice table. Tasted at least 10 different meats and cheeses paired with baguettes. Red and white wine was plentiful as well. We were stuffed at the end. One of our favorite food tours ever.

A must do in Paris!

Emmanuel was awesome! So knowledgeable and informative and very passionate about French gastronomy! From our stroll into various food places to the magical ending shared time together, it was a lot more food than expected! One of our favorite excursions of our 11 days in Paris!!!

Don’t Miss the Secret Food Tour

This was a wonderful experience. Ryan was the best! He knew his stuff! Not only was he knowledgeable about Paris but about FOOD. He took us to great food venues. The food was awesome. The Secret at the end was wonderful. Met some great peeps! Would do it again😥

The most memorable experience in a very short time.

Josephine was great at what she does. Her passion to understand the French Aperol culture was truly commendable. Her detailed knowledge of the food and drinks made the experience exceptional. Thank you to all the background staff for making this tour amazing and smooth. My most memorable experience was the Secret location to have the feast. I was completely full at the end. I had tried other Viator experiences but this was great.

A delicious and charming evening

We were so fortunate to have a wonderful guide who was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of French food. She took us to award winning shops were we tried samples and she made purchases of food for us to eat together in their private dining space at the end of the tour…wine included! Unfortunately our time was cut a little short as we had made reservations to see Moulin Rouge at 8:30 so we missed dessert. (We did this in lieu of the dinner option at MR). Would definitely book this experience again and highly recommend!

Go to eat but not so much to learn

The crepes were yummy and so were the macarons and chocolate. I think there could be more history and better understanding of French food and style of eating.

Great Food Tour of Notre Dame

We did a great food tour of Notre Dame with our guide Matt last night. Super fun to learn about croissants, macarons, French cheeses, wine, crepes and more. Plus there were lots of other interesting non-food facts along the way — French history, culture, the story behind various sights we were passing, etc. A really enjoyable evening from beginning to end!

Wonderful Experience

Wonderful experience, our tour guide was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and joyful! We learned a great deal about the history of Paris and had some delicious local treats.

Great food tour

This was a fun tour we took with our two teenagers. The food was delicious and Matthew, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic expedition, even for families!

We loved our Montmartre food tour with Imrane! My husband and three children (15, 14 and 11) really enjoyed the walk, the stories and the food. In particular, we appreciated the detailed explanations of the French food rating systems--after the tour ended, we noticed specific stickers on restaurants that indicate a particular level of quality. I also appreciated Imrane's recommendations for specific foods to try--the crepes with chestnut cream were not something I'd have chosen on my own, but were well worth it. Finally, the volume of food we ate was considerable--by the end of the tour, not a person in my family wanted anything for dinner, other than a small piece of fruit--so, it was well worth the price! As summed by my 11yo, "this was the best tour we've ever been on!"

Great for families.

We had a family of three including our 10 year old son. We loved trying the chocolates, macaroons, crepes, wine and cheese. Host was very informative and kind. We really enjoyed. Plenty of food. Come hungry.

A must do experience in Paris!

I can’t rave about this experience enough! I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was one of the highlights of our trip..my daughter’s favorite part of our trip. Lorca was amazing and taught us so much valuable information and made the trip extra memorable. Montmarte is a must!

Amazing tour - do it!

Fantastic tour! We toured Notre Dame with Luisa and she was amazing. The food was great, the history was spot on and overall, it was just fun. 10/10!

Great way to spend the day in Montmarte

We spent 5 days in Paris and this was our favorite experience! Our guide, Imran, was quite knowledgable - we learned a lot about French food and he took us to high-quality establishments to try many types of food. This was also a great way to see and experience the Montmarte neighborhood with a local leading the way. Highly recommend!

This was hands down the best food tour I’ve been on! We LOVED tasting all of the different foods and learning more about them. Going to the secret location at the end to visit and try a variety of meats and cheeses was our favorite part. Lorca was an amazing tour guide!

Coralie was our guide and we had the absolute best time. The food, wine, and company were all fantastic. Coralie did an amazing job giving us historical information along the tour as well as information about the food. This was one of my most favorite things about our trip to Paris.

Great experience on the Secret food Tour Notre Dame - Heart of Paris!

We had a wonderful time on the Secret food Tour Notre Dame - Heart of Paris with Matthew. Our family of 4 with 2 teens went. Matthew is very engaging and we learned so much on the tour and enjoyed all the yummy treats. We had croissants, cider, savory galettes, Macarons, Quiche, cheese, bread, wine and soda for the kids. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the tour if you are visiting Paris. Our teens enjoyed it too!

Great tour with Matt

We enjoyed a great food tour of the Notre Dame area with Matt. We started with the best croissants ever that were still warm and delicious. Then enjoyed so many other excellent foods (macarons, galettes, quiche, wine) and best of all was the cheese course. Matt picked out a great mixture of some truly delicious cheeses served with a baguette. Ooo La la. We were stuffed. All along our walk Matt explained some of the history of the places we saw and food we ate. His explanations were interesting and helpful. He also offered some suggestions for after our tour which we appreciated. Definitely 5 stars for Matt.

Best welcome to Paris

I can't say enough good things about the afternoon with Luisa. It was my first time in Paris (and I'd only landed a few hours before our tour), so I didn't know what to expect. But I felt like I learned so much in such a short amount of time, and I got to see a part of the city that didn't feel overly touristy. It felt like we got to see a side of the real Paris, while eating our way through the city. Luisa was so personable and funny; it felt like you'd known her forever. Would highly recommend the Heart of Paris tour, and if you get Luisa, you're the luckiest person ever.

A Montmartre Foodie Experience & Make New Friends

This was terrific! We opted for the Mortmartre district tour, which is a unique part of Paris and one worth exploring. The shops, little parkettes, churches, and even mills and terrain, make this a wonderful addition to any trip. The best part was our guide, Antoine. He was super personable and full of local knowledge. He ensured that we took time to meet each of our tour participants, took us to a few shops and then we had the opportunity to sit together and enjoy food from local shops (baguettes, cheeses, wine, desserts, etc.). Antoine was engaging and ensured that everyone had a chance to participate and share their thoughts and experiences while in Paris. Not only did we get to experience a unique part of Paris, but we also met new friends from the U.S., Australia, and Hong Kong. Outstanding! Thank you, Antoine.

Great thing to do

This was such a fun night! Our guide, Matthew, was so friendly and knowledgeable. We went on the tour with our two teenagers and they loved it too.

Superb!

Such a great guide and experience! A little history and a little food - a great way to explore Pairs. I would recommend this to travelers who don’t know much about where to eat the most authentic food.

Can’t recommend highly enough

What a brilliant experience! From start to finish, we loved this walking tour. Our guide Matthew was incredibly knowledgable, there wasn’t a single question that he couldn’t answer- and we asked a lot! We did the Notre Dame tour, the highlight being the stroll through Ile Saint-Louis, shopping at Fromagerie Laurent Dubois and Charcuterie Saint Germain, eating all the delicious food, and of course Notre Dame itself. Can’t recommend highly enough- just do it

Don't waste your money

Not worth it! Meet beside a children's carousel and can't hear a word the guide said. Before we walk off, the guide starts handing out food too sample, all 12 hands going into a greasy bag before my turn and there wasn't even one left when i stuck my hand in. Guide then directs us into a park to take pictures of some art project while she checks her phone. 45 minutes in the tour we enter our fist shop to sample something; 2 macaroons and 2 small chocolates, which was very anticlimactic and long. 70 minutes into the tour we get to a bakery (second stop), which we are told is famous and won prestigeous awards; they haven't won since 2010. Its busy in the bakery, we cannot go inside, and we are given a very small sample to try outside. At this point we were done and left; wish we could have gotten our money back. Save your time and money.

An ok food tour.

We would have preferred having the meats and cheeses before any sweets. At the hidden place, no guests were given a fork. All guests should have had a fork along with the knife. The meats & cheeses were just ok. The wines were very good. The sweets were very good. This food tour was ok. But, there are better food tours for the price.

Highly recommended local experience with Luisa!

We really enjoyed the Food Tour with Luisa. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and fun! Food was scrumptious and very Parisian. The secret location where we enjoyed most of the food was so cool. I highly recommend it as an amazing way to learn about Paris’ history and culture while enjoying Parisian food. As our 12 year old said: Dis was fun!

Get Anthony if you can!

Anthony was brilliant! Best tour of any kind I have been on. The two other tours in Paris pale in comparison. Everything was well thought out (kudos to the tour company), but Anthony was exceptional.

Lots of food!

We were late due to traffic and the tour guide was kind enough to save samples for us for the stops we missed. All of the portions are meal size so come hungry!

Amazing family experience.

We explored the charming neighborhood of Montmatre. One of the best things about our tour was our guide Marie who is a local of this neighborhood. She is charming and explained both the neighborhood, history and Parisian food culture. We were stuffed after all the food and drink so definitely don’t eat before you go! Everyone in my family (ages 9, 12, 13) loved this tour.

You’re in Paris, Bsby!

Our guide, Gaspar, was very informative and not boring. He was a great host. The food options were delicious, and there was A LOT of it. The wine selections were very nice as well. The white was a little better than the red, and you got more white. Some of the spots were closed because we went on a Monday, which is considered weekend. Also, the walking was light during the first half of the tour, but the second half of the tour was seated in a “secret” location with no waking. This could also have been due to shops being closed. However, despite that, the tour was fun and yummy!!

Not to be missed

What a great tour! Fabulous guide Naf, was wonderful and the food was more than plentiful. Go on an empty stomach! Don’t miss this tour.
