Amazing experience! Paris in a day is the absolute way to go for the whole experience. Our guide Jess was incredible. She is knowledgeable, funny, kind, and moved at a reasonable pace for all ages. We learned so much from her and enjoyed her company. The tour itself is so well designed that we covered a lot of ground and learned so much we all felt incredibly satisfied. We all five, including two teens and one 11 year old, highly recommend this tour. Merci Jess.

Paris in a day

Learning about the history of Paris and seeing all the historical buildings. One minute bus point is that Victoria spent lots of time in the lourve only showing us her favorites and giving us the stories of her favorites.. would have like bed more time to explore the lourve on our own. For the rest it was ok

Chaotic management

My mom couldn't do the first part of the tour we were told to meet at the entrance of the louver at 12. Was there from 11:30- 1pm. I kept an active chat with the tour company told me where to meet and thay they are having trouble finding the tour guide. They never responded and will not do a partial refund even after the tour guide told me they will only keep $50 per person.

Nice tour for popular Paris attractions

It was a pleasant tour of popular Paris attractions. Time was well managed by the tour guide, as I somehow got to have a 3-course meal during lunch break in this tour. Honestly, can’t say I’ve had time for a decent meal in any of the tour that I’ve been on before. It was informative and very productive.

Paris in a day

Our tour guide was Steve and he was awesome. He had very intricate details of everything we saw. No complaints about Steve or what we saw but we didn’t realize how much walking it really is. Next time we will probably try to get a tour that has about half as much walking.

Walking tour of Paris

Easy access to the louve and sunset tickets at the Eiffel Tower. Julie was a great host for the entire day. Great personality and very knowledgeable with a flair for provocative story telling.

Exhausting, full day!

The Louvre museum, where I saw the Mona Lisa portrait. The museum is huge. The tour guide had us walking a lot, make sure to wear comfortable footwear & have water with you. The tour includes the museum, travelling by Metro, visiting the outside of Notre-Dame & the Eiffel Tower. All-in-all an excellent tour, a great way to see the sights of Paris. The guide was extremely informative, helpful & knowledgeable.

Really good tour. Lots of: learning, seeing, amazing views, cool backstories... and walking!

#1 - Our tour guide, Julie, was terrific. Super knowledgeable about history, religous art, geography -- everything you hope your tour guide will know. Plus, lots of "inside story" about Paris and French people and customs. It rained off and on all day, so it was a labor of love at some points during the tour, but Julie kept her energy and the pace constant and upbeat. She was great. Five stars for Julie! It was a long day -- a ton of walking, but that's as-advertised! Montmartre was very good and interesting. Lots of interesting stories about the beginnings of the city and St. Denis. The Louve was jam-packed crowded. Skipping the lines was very key, and Julie knew how to navigate everything. We saw the highlights -- Mona Lisa, Venus Demaillo, Winged Victory, plus other rooms that were stunning. If you have only to see the Louvre for an hour, this is the way to go. Our walk along the Seine was in the rain, but we still enjoyed it. Saw a lot and learned a lot. Our Eiffel Tower pass was for 9PM, and thanks to the rain, we were just not up for it, but if the weather was nice we would have done it. 9PM sounds late, but in Paris, that's dinner time and in the summer, still the sun is out. We took the River tour two days later and it was no problem -- very enjoyable and a great way to get a different view of the city, especially Notre Dame. At the start, at Avers Station, the guy organizing everything seemed pretty frazzled, trying to launch multiple different tours at once, but once we got going, it was smooth sailing. All in all, a great tour if you have one day, and you are up for about 5 hours of walking and learning a lot about Paris.

Senior citizens Beware!

I am 77 yrs old and consider myself to be in fairly good condition. But I was no match for this tour. The guide was Ana. Since I was traveling alone, I voiced my concern about losing her in a large crowd. She was not reassuring. She made no effort to connect with the group. She walked very fast and rarely turned around to see if we were all there. She was informative but did not like questions or to be told to slow down. If I stopped to take pictures, she was so far ahead, others in the group had to run ahead to tell her to wait for me to catch up. She did not want to carry any "lollipop", etc indicating where she was. I almost lost her in the metro. The itinerary was great but the conditions with the guide were stressful. I was so looking forward to this tour.

Best way to see Paris in a day!

our guide was vey knowledgeable, energetic and had a wonderful personality. She made the total experience a fun filled day even with all the walking. We made several new friends and traveled the rest of the day with each other, enjoying the Eiffel Tower at the end of the day.

Americans in Paris

This was an incredible experience! On our second day in Paris we decided to embark on this tour. You truly see it all and then some! This was a great way to get familiar with the city and see things and learn tips you would not otherwise know. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who is new to the area and wants to see the sights!

Paris walking tour

We immensely enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Rawda, was amazing, knowledgeable, and very attentive. We took several European tours and Rawda was our favorite guide. We highly recommend her.

A great way to see Paris in a day

The tour guide was able to maneuver through the crowds and being us to the highlights in the Louvre. This was a great tour to see and experience the city while feeling safe. We would have never been able to cover the same areas on our own in the same amount of time. Julie was very knowledgeable and kept the tour on time. .

Excellent day!

Excellent day with Jess, our knowledgeable, accommodating, and very friendly tour guide. Got to see many landmarks - Montmartre and Notre Dame (although they were still renovating from fire so we did not get to inside) and of course the main attractions of the Louvre. Lots of walking on this tour, uphill in some parts of Montmartre, so would not recommend if not up for that physically. We have had great success with Viator over the years!

Do not use The Tour Guy

The Tour Guy is a disorganized company with poor communication. I received an email with the time of the Eiffel Tower tickets that said 10pm. I could not go at 10pm that night, so I called customer service to see if I could switch to another day. No one answered, so I sent an email. After many emails and a long period of waiting for a response, I was told I couldn’t change the date. Fine. The day of the tour, our guide said the tickets were for 8pm that evening. I couldn’t go either way, but that was first miscommunication. We start the tour with headsets so we can hear our guide. When we get to the Louvre, we were given a restroom break before entering the museum. Our group had 18 people, only 15 entered the museum. Either our guide miscounted, or three random people entered with our group. Our guide didn’t even realize that three people were missing. Someone on the tour realized halfway through that three people weren’t with us. At the end of our Louvre tour, someone in our group ran into the three missing people and found out that they had to buy their own tickets and wait 45 minutes in line to enter. Our guide asked “were they sad?” I don’t think sad covers it. After we left the Louvre we ate lunch. We didn’t have a choice of restaurants, we had to eat at Cafe des Arts. The service was terrible and food was overpriced. After lunch, we didn’t get the headsets back, so we couldn’t hear what our guide was saying. I hope the three people that were left behind at the Louvre received a full refund.

Great way to speed date with Paris!

We really enjoyed our tour guide Julie. There may have been a little bit too much time spent walking in the first neighborhood. The metro ride to the Louvre was fun. And just the right amount of time was spent inside the museum. We broke off from the tour after lunch so that we could use our Eiffel Tower tickets that evening. And it’s so cool that the boat down the Seine can be used anytime and is good for one year. So we are going to use today!

So much to see

Be prepared for a big day. A lot of walking (but at a leisurely pace) as there is a lot to see. A great way to see so many highlights in a day. Skipping the Louvre lines was amazing as they looked likely to take several hours.

Best paris trip

Our tour guide was radeka, she was the most vibrant and lovely lady, full of stories and information. She brought old pics and history pages and was answering all our questions. If one hass to do major part of paris in a single trip, this trip is MUST.

Fun filled day.

Fun filled day. Our guide Julie was extremely knowledgeable and knew her way around the city. She positioned us in the best photo spots and gave us so much information. I was amazed with her ability to keep an eye on the group even though we went at different paces. Excellent experience.

A great day of sightseeing and learning

This tour enabled us to see and learn about different parts of Paris all in a day. Our guide was super informative and well organised. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Must Do!

Julie was amazing! We truly saw Paris in a day. Ending at the Eiffel Tower and being able to see all the amazing monuments we saw was beautiful! Tour was well paced and even thought it was roughly 7 miles it did not feel that way at all. One member of the group was pregnant and able to say for the whole tour.

Horrible

It was a very horrible experience. They change the meeting place at the last minute and didn’t let us know and kept arguing with us saying they did after I even emailed them the voucher showing no here is our meeting place. It never got changed the walking tour through the city had us walking through construction sites very dangerous very congested did not enjoy the rest of the walking tour. It was really a very, very bad experience, not worth the money at all

Too much walk.. tired.

The guide was great. But this walking tour was TOO MUCH WALK.. it will be better if we can more combine metro or bus wt the tour. We are over 60 and its not for us ... other than that, the tour was great, skio the lune in Luvre which is great n full information in Luvre.. just no need to wqlk too much.. like 2 times across the bridge.. so this tour only recomended for young ppl.. who is fit. Not for ocer 55 and not for children..

Perfect Tour for Our Family!

This was the perfect tour for our family and a great value! We have 9 and 11 year olds and were only in town for a few days. This tour helped us see so many of the key attractions, including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame and Montmart in an easy way. Our guide was so nice and knowledgeable, and we all learned so much. We all had earpieces, so we could hear the guide even if we were farther away. And she continued to tell us about things, even while walking, so we had ongoing commentary. The tour was also a great pace for us. We spent about 1.5 to 2 hours in the Louvre, which was the ideal amount of time for our kids before they lost interest. The guide showed us and told us about some of the key pieces of art - and we got to skip the huge line! Also, we got to get up the Eiffel Tower with a shorter wait with timed entry. The boat trip tickets were for any time after the tour, so we ended up using ours a couple days after, so nice to have that flexibility. (We did notice the line for the cruise was a lot longer in the evening, so we had to wait an hour or so, but the line didn’t seem long at all immediately after the tour if we had gone then.) All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Missed the Tour

Unfortunately, although we left in plenty of time, we could not get a Taxi to take us to the meeting point. We then ran to the Metro but did not make it to the meeting point. Ended up going to the Eiffel Tower Tour on our own, paid again of course. We tried to go to the Museum and there were thousands of people waiting in line. We spent much money on taxis and then back to our hotel. We also took the Seine River Tour at our own expense the following morning. We are pretty active and fit Seniors but how you think this was a walking tour is beyond me unless you knew short cuts we didn't. I don't think I could realistically recommend it to our Senior Friends.

Great Intro to Paris!

Our tour with Victoria was informative, as she sighted so many historic details of the Montmartre area, the artwork in the Louvre and the history of the Louvre. I'm glad we had a tour guide in the Louvre because it's easy to get lost, and she was able to bullet point the most famous pieces. Lunch was quick so we ate in the food court at the Louvre, which actually had really good pizza and we treated ourselves to macarons from Laduree. Our tour guide then took us to the Eiffel Tower where we could also access the boat cruise. We also lucked out because the tour company was able to get us tickets to the summit of the Eiffel Tower. I thought we were only going to the 2nd floor. The only reason I gave this a 4, rather than a 5 was because I felt we spent too much time in the Montmartre area. And some of the explanations were long, which was tough to hold the attention of my kids (13 and 16) especially since this is such a long tour. Other than that, it was a great introduction to Paris!

Paris March 2024

Started the morning off with traffic so make sure you allow enough time. Also it was very cold in the morning but the day did warm up. Victoria and Emil were great and we meet new friends.

Amazing!!!!

I love being able to actually go inside the Eiffel Tower and go to the top and drink champagne! The guide was excellent and she was very informative! We had a wonderful time.

VERY disappointing

This company does terrible tourism. I would absolutely advise you against going with them. This tour is advertised to last 7hours. Like most tourist, we had a limited amount of time in Paris and were excited to go on this tour and see so much in 7hours. The tour started at 9:15am. Upon arrival in the morning, we were told that the guided part will be over by 4:15pm(after 7h). Afterwards we can do the Cruise at a flexible time. For the Eiffeltour tour, we were told that our time slot was 8pm!! We had planned this tour for seven hours. Because the timing was falsly advertised, and us having further travel plans in the evening (like many others on this tour(some had dinner reservations)) we were not able to get up the tower or on the cruise. The company did not let us cancel our tickets before the tour started, after telling us of the diffenrent schedule. They also refuse, after many talks, to give us any refund for the missed experiences. We are very dissapointed and sad we chose this tour.

Almost was great…

This tour was listed as an “approximately 7 hour tour”. Based on the fact that it started at 845AM I allowed 8 full hours and a bit more and predicted that the trip would be done by about 5PM. That paired with the fact that we were told that the excursion would end at the Eiffel Tower and that while “most take their cruise at 430, 500, or 530” you can use your ticket any day while in Paris. I assumed my prediction of 5PM finish would be on point. As such, I booked dinner and show at the Moulin Rouge at 730PM. When we were given our Eiffel Tower tickets, they were for 8PM….well past the “approximately 7 hour” tour description. Needless to say, we cut the tour short and left about 5PM as we needed to make our show. We missed the window for the use of our tickets, and a day later now, we still haven’t even gotten our cruise tickets. I have taken about 30 tours with as viator booking, and while this was the first that was a mess, it’s very disappointing.

Good of you don’t have much time in Paris.

À quick whirlwind orientation of famous sights in Paris. Just an overview of what you might want to explore in the future. Lots of time on metro, and quick stops in locations. 8 miles worth of walking . Best if you don’t have more time to spend in each area . I would have liked more entertaining presentation of history in a story format rather than facts at each stop.

The itinerary is great but the guide wasn't very thorough, didn't wait for the clients, I spent a lot of time looking for her, instead of enjoying the experience.

Phenomenal Parisian city walking tour

Seeing the sights, sounds & history from a local’s perspective was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Fabienne was a great tour guide, keeping spirits and momentum up throughout the entire tour despite the rainy, gloomy and cold day. This was our first trip to Paris (but certainly not the last) and this tour gave a well rounded visual of the city. The only disappointment was not being able to enter the Eiffel Tower because of the strike but the company handled it with grace. Highly recommend for any and everyone as a first time visitor, and even repeat visitors.

Violet is the best guide. She is pleasant, interesting, knowledgeable, and clearly loves being a guide. Loved the tour. More walking than expected, but I highly recommend this tour.

An amazing day in Paris

We went on the tour on the 20/01./24, sadly I have forgotten the name of our wonder lady guide. We had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Our guide was very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly. This is a must do experience if you are in Paris for a weekend.

DO NOT BOOK - Bad Tour

This was probably the WORST way to visit Paris. Do not book with this tour guide. Appearances aside (very unprofessional); the tour guide was late, scatter brained, and brought very low energy. She did not know Paris and had to use Google Maps/navigation to guide her through the streets of Paris. EVEN with using navigation, she did not follow the navigation properly and took us down many wrong directions in which case we had to turn around quite often. She seemed to lack self esteem within her own self which displayed within the tour itself. We found ourselves venturing off and taking our own tour. We did not finish the tour and left midway. Not a great experience. Would not recommend.

The guide was excellent

The guide who gave us the tour was excellent. I forget his name but he was born in Cuba and raised in Miami. He had so much knowledge about everything we saw on the tour.

Best and most fun tour we have ever had

Everything about the tour will be fondly remembered. Our guide, Katrina, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and engaged. We were further blessed in the fact that everyone in our group was out to enjoy the tour and as well have some fun. I would recommend the tour highly and especially Katrina as a guide; she is definitely an asset to your organization. There was a lot of walking involved, but enough rest breaks for all to keep pace from those in their 30’s to the oldest at 70ish!

Worth It!

No long line waiting at Louvre Museum, everything went smoothly. Our Tour guide was knowledgeable on what she’s saying. Eventhough it’s raining on that day, we had a wonderful experience with my friends.

Ob So Difficult! Tour Should be Redesigned.

It was a pretty good tour, but difficult. . I got an email a couple of days before the tour saying they had moved the time to an hour earlier than originally advertised, and I almost missed the email because we were traveling. I found the email just in time to get there but we had to drop everything, skip morning meal to make it there. The tour guide had lots of interesting information and was easy to listen to. Beautiful sights. The first part of the tour was on foot in Montmartre, which is no small thing. Tons of climbing and descending stairs on this significant hillside. Very scary climb/descent for me, especially some of these stairs are ancient and uneven. The tour guide was moving very quickly and we got separated in a busy area and it was hard to find her. Areas of the tour involved walking through an active pickpocketing area. We were warned about this by the guide, but I was tired from my descent and was taking a moment and suddenly my friend grabbed me to deflect an individual who was coming up to me directly from behind with his hands up, ready to grab my purse and lift it over my head. When stopped, he looked me dead in the eye, aggressively. Also, tour involved use of metro for transportation, not a bus. When we finished Montmartre, we gave.back our headsets and walked away. Missed the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame on this tour. Dealing with the pressure of the tour pace was just too punishing. Hopefully we can make some of this up on our own. Come fed and don’t need the restroom, as there is no chance of stopping. Do not go if you are out of shape at all. I do wish it was made clearer how rugged this experience could be. I would sadly not call it relaxing! So if you know what you’re in for, it’s a pretty good tour, but if I were designing it I’d do a whole lot of things differently, like divide Montmartre and the rest of the tour into two different tours. In Montmartre there were some lovely stores to look at, no time to do so. Glad for the sights I saw, but wow it was a challenging experience!

Great tour guide

Julie was a great guide, very informative on the history of Paris and the sites we visited. She was able to manage the group flawlessly through large crowds and challenging weather.

Not As Expected

The tour was not what I expected. When we arrived at 2 different points of main interest she was not clear where we were until after we left. There was WAY more walking than expected and we have taken walking tours all over Europe for the last 3 months on our 17 country tour. Be prepared for miles of walking with no breaks for hours. She spoke in broken English which was difficult to decipher what she was saying. After a while you just tire of trying to understand. The guide was very friendly and informative when we could understand her.
