Don't miss this! Fantastic views!

This is a really great landmark to visit! Not expensive and has amazing views! There's a great little café at the top and you can go out on the roof terrace and see Paris spread out beneath you. A great view of the Eiffel Tower too. We went just before sunset and watched the lights come on all over the city. Fantastic!

Great place to start a tour of Paris.

This was a great place to start our visit to Paris. Unfortunately it was a cloudy evening, so no real sunset. But it was interesting to see Paris from so high up. They provide a lot of history of the surrounding area with virtual reality head sets. Watching the lights of Paris was wonderful. Don’t forget to go to the very top observatory for an ever better view. The one star is taken off for the worn appearance of the area. The Tower is planned for a major renovation which it badly needs as it is looking quite dated.

Just do it!

Good weather and great views 360 degrees around. There is a clever 6 minute movie that loops, showing lifelike renditions of Paris in Roman and Medieval times and during the 1889 Worlds Fare when Gustav Eiffel’s tower was built

Sky view

Great view of the Paris. The walk around windows made gave view from all sides. Will tell anyone visiting Paris to put this on the list of things to do.

Stunning views

Wonderful views of the city! This attraction is also much quieter than others which makes for an all round more pleasant experience.

Easy access and great views

Easy way to book tickets to the tower. No waiting in line and great views! We had no problems getting into the tower. A little more specific directions on which door to enter would have been helpful-we almost had to walk around the whole building!

Good views but some rude staff

Great views but some of the staff here are very rude. Told to drink my champagne because a cleaner didn’t want me to take it on an observation area but then told it was ok. And rude lady in the cafe which was empty told me to move to a table for 2 not 4 😂

Great view of Paris

Fantastic view of Paris and did not feel rushed. Spent a long time up on the top. No one asked us to hurry or push us to finish our experience.

Excellent view!

We had plenty of time on the roof with an excellent view of the sparkling tower. On a windy night be prepared and dressed to stay warm as there is no area to totally escape the elements.

Excellent views

I can recommend the observation deck. You have a 2 hour window to attend the time slot. Superb view all over the city.

Nice views

It's okay - could probably do with a bit of a touch up. Compared to other observatory towers we'd visited in other major cities around the world it didn't feel as well put together. Still, great views of Paris.

Awesome!

Myself, husband, 10 month old and his grandparents visited here a few weekends back. I somehow managed to book the wrong day, but the stewardess kindly liaised with her manager and allowed us entry. Level 56 is enclosed and level 59 is open. There are 360° views which are fantastic. There is also a video on the lower level that shows Paris' skyline overtime. The views were fantastic. I'm so glad we did this rather than go up the tower. I'd highly recommend.

Awesome views, with cool mobile app identification tool

The mobile app with monument identification was such a useful and super-cool tool; I loved it! So much fun, and very easy to use!

Great experience with great views and not as busy as the Eiffel Tower!

We booked this by pure chance and it was brilliant! The views that you get from the top are amazing. It wasn't as busy as the Eiffel tower and getting up to the top was so easy to do. We are really glad that we did this and i would recommended it to anyone that is in Paris. There are some nice restaurants around the tower as well where you can go for a nice snack either before or after going to the top. There are some VR goggles on the lower floor which makes the whole experience a lot more interactive!

Hidden Gem

A Hidden gem. Fantastic all around roof view. Well worth the visit, fabulous view of the city and probably the best. No hassle from lots of people. Other features like the travel through the ages HD film show and some historical info. Other than the confusion of getting into the building an excellent visit and once your done a great area to shop or eat.

Worth it if you’ve an hour to kill

Great views over the city and Eiffel Tower but unfortunately we couldn’t go on the roof due to the weather which then meant having to fight to get to the unfiltered windows which were steamed up and streaky.

A fantastic experience....

A fantastic experience. Amazing views, a really lovely cafe, great cinema experience and you could stay as long as you wanted to. We were there for 2 hours. It was so good.

Best Paris and Eiffel view

Fantastic view of Paris, with best view of Eiffel. My 11 year old boy was very happy, because he is afraid of height but it was very safe to go to the top

Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck is a must.

Great place to view Paris especially if you'd like the Eifel Tower in your pictures. Airport like security but worked okay.

Fantastic views from the Montparnasse Tower!

Fantastic view of Paris and the video showing the transformation of Paris through the centuries was awesome! The views from every side were outstanding. The tower can be seen from everywhere and we were lucky enough to be staying in the same street where the tower is located.

Last evening in Paris - very good idea for that is Montparnasse.

It was a liie bit dissapointment taht terrace was closed due to the string eind and bad weather but at the same time it is reasonable and understandable.

Actual steaming pile of.....

Absolute Joke.... firstly the whole area feels like East Berlin at the height of the separation. Like I'm talking sketchy as....with zero signage or help. Also, don't bother booking tickets. We booked tickets months in advance and we still had to stand in a queue outside in the rain with everyone else that didn't have tickets left. The "staff" said yes, you queue like everyone else. Honestly a money making racquet before the building and area is levelled and redeveloped. Absolutely terrible. This building is called the middle finger by Parisians and the "tour" is an absolute middle to anyone stupid enough to buy a ticket or visit.

Amazing views and friendly and professional staff who explain everything clearly. For many people this place offers the best views of the city and for me it was a great experience

Ehhhh

Fog was an issue. We couldn't see anything. If there wasn't fog, I'm sure it would be amazing sight to see.

Great views of Paris! Worth doing!

Great views of the city! Well worth doing, avoid the crowds at the Effiel tower! Note the staff were incredibly rude & unpleasant!

Beautiful experience.

It is a location that should not be missed when you visit Paris. Easy and quick lift access, good visibility. Excellent staff friendliness. I recommend visiting all year round.

Best view of the Eiffel Tower !

The best part was the obvious - the view. Seeing the Eiffel Tower in the dark was magnificent. The lights brought the Tower alive. Access to the top of Montparnasse was easy, no waiting. Having a snack area was good, allowing for a snack during the wait time from day light to darkness. I don't think the gift shop was needed, at least not at the view level. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience!

Beautiful views

This was excellent much better than going up the Eiffel Tower because you can actually see the Eiffel Tower from the observation deck as well as the rest of Paris. We arrived late afternoon and watched the sun set and the lights of Paris come on. Great

The views are amazing. Took lots of pictures. Could use some cleaning on all the glass upper and lower observation decks.

Bad experience

A horrible and an aufull experience that i encountered yesterday..the ticket didnn’t had the qr code and o had to stay 40 min ~1 hour to chat with the call center and to describe the issue

Quiet and calming, away from the crowd

Little to no crowd at all when we went, had awesome views, the elevator was super fast, everybody was nice and cordial, super glad I chose this over the Eiffel Tower. Just not a fan of crowds and super touristy things. There are some cute cafes and restaurants nearby as well, don’t forget to check out the area :)

I’ve filed a claim with PayPal to recover the money you took since I received nothing. I won’t use you again.

The problem wasn’t with the Tour. It’s that I never received my tickets. I clicked the Help link for assistance and that was useless.

Great views

Fantastic view of Paris, but don’t expect more than a view. This is very much a pop up to the top for the pictures and move along. Good way to end your day though. Don’t let the outside fool you, it needs some love, however, the pictures from the top are worth it.

Great views, shame about the security scanning man!

Loved the fantastic views of Paris, you can never beat seeing a city from above, and playing ‘spot the building’. It made a nice change from the mobbed tourist gem that is the Eiffel Tower! We booked ahead, and kept a check on the weather forecast to ensure good visibility. When we arrived, there weren’t any queues, and the area around the tower was so bleak and devoid of people we weren’t sure we were in the right place! We eventually found the entrance (if you’re emerging from the Metro right at the base of the tower, turn left) and once in, were greeted by a security scanning machine, which it where my experience of the tower was marred. I’ll try to say this without swearing - the security guy overseeing the scanner was a t****r. My necklace set off the beep beep machine when I walked through and his attitude towards me became rude and angry - unnecessarily so. He shouted and called me stupid, in front of the other visitors. It was humiliating and not a good welcome to the tower. His bullying attitude says more about him than me - clearly he hates peoples and his work - so if he still has his job when you visit, be prepared…..

Disappointing

An old rundown office block that looks uninviting. And €21 per person is a rip off. More expensive than the Eiffel Tower. Grotty, run down and dismal. Piped pop music played loudly. Yes a good view over all of Paris but needs to be more inviting and improved. Not sure how but felt was a waste of money. Preferred terrace on Galleries Lafayette more.

Fantastic views of the city but go to the top for your photos.

If you want to get a view of the whole of Paris this is a wonderful experience. The express lift was very fast although you did not know it. From the 56th floor you have a 360 degree view of the city. There is a cafe up there so you can relax and take it all in. Big issue is that there are windows all around so some photos will have reflections or blurry but you can go up to the top and get a slightly better view with gaps in the windows to get better photos. We did not realise this until late so missed out on some photos. We booked at 20:30 so we could see the sun set at around 21:10 and it was great to see the Effiel tower lit up and twinkling for a while around 22:00. Viewing the city in darkness was a wonderful experience and so would recommend this especially if you are staying nearby as we were.

Wonderful views.

Great views. Paris time travel film and Augmented reality goggles were really good. App was good but wasn’t obvious how to reset for each new view. Great way to orientate yourself before visiting the big landmarks.

No visit possible because of closure without warning

When we arrived for our second visit at night, it turned out that the observation deck was closed. Although we had the tickets purchased the the original organization, we were not warned in advance. Seeking contact with the organization turned out impossible because of a disfunctional website

Fabulous 360 views of city of love, Paris

Brilliant way of seeing the whole city of Paris. Staffs are all friendly and truly enjoyed my visit. Highly recommended.

Okay,

I visited Montparnasse in 2017 and enjoyed the view with cocktails. Visiting with different people I had excited them with the idea of cocktails and a view. We loved the views but was disappointed that the cocktail bar no longer exists

Cool Views

Building is kind of run down in a less desirable neighborhood. Cool views but the small openings for clear camera shots were very limited and they allowed tripods which was frustrating because people were hogging the space trying to do time lapses etc.

Scammed

Most disappointing. The company didn't share the tickets by email, whatsapp or text. When we got to the desk, the person said that the voucher wouldn't be sufficient. Tried getting the tickets from the app, but the link wouldn't work. Were forced to buy the tickets for the 4 of us again on site. Viator customer service said that they would not be able to refund the money for the 4 tickets, even though they were clearly not used. According to the lady at the desk, many people have this issue with Viator tickets. Stay away from them. Scam.

Enjoyed the views

We enjoyed going to the top…the views were beautiful! It was a self guided adventure, just purchased our tickets in advance through Viator.

Not the Rooftop Experience

The rooftop was closed due to issues between the landlord and the activity organiser so very disappointed not to have been able to experience that

An awesome top-down view of the city!

Instead of visiting the Eiffel Tower our tourgroup came by here instead. Taking the elevator to the 56th storey after clearing security check, we reached the observation deck. It was not as crowded as Eiffel Tower and only about 2 tourgroup of visitors. And wow! The view of the city from here was awesome and wonderful. We could have a 360-degree panoramic view of the city of Paris walking from one end to the other end of the building. And of course, the Eiffel Tower could be seen from here too! This view is so much different from ascending to the 2nd storey of the Eiffel Tower, which we visited in our previous visit. We were told that the view in the evening was more beautiful with the lightings on around the city. There's also a video presentation on the introduction of the buildings with artwork and displays on the wall, and also a small souvenir shop. Recommended to visit.

Like Top of the Rockefeller Center but in Paris

Much like Top of the Rock or going to the top of the Empire State Building in NYC - only in Paris. Very cool to be able to see views of Paris - you can see the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, Cathedral of Notre Dame, etc.
