Nice guide. Easy to understand. Meeting point easy to find. Good pace for walking. Some art references to different places. THIS IS NOT A FOOD TOUR. No food. This is just a general walking tour. Does not include Sacre Coeur.

Great tour of a gorgeous part of Paris!

What a wonderful afternoon exploring Montmartre with Sania! We had never been to this area before and it was fascinating hearing the history of the neighborhood from someone who was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Sania made the tour so much fun! We learned all about the famous artists that lived in the area, saw the “I love you” wall and the restaurant that was the inspiration behind one of Renoir’s most famous paintings. In terms of walking, Montmartre is definitely a hilly area but the tour had plenty of stops and never took any roads that were super steep. I would highly recommend this tour and Sania!

A Great Way to Tour Montmartre

Our guide, Paula, was funny and informative. We learned a lot about the area. We particularly appreciated her choice to ascend the Montmartre hill by the streets rather than the stairs, it gave us more views of the neighborhood. And we liked her restaurant recommendations.

Disappointing

Not a great tour. There were 20 people and no headphones. We walked side streets next to laundry trucks to avoid the busy streets. Not exactly what I expected of a Montmarte walking tour. We did end up at Sacre-Coeir. Don’t spend your time or money.

Amazing walking tour!

Paula was absolutely amazing! She was very engaging and made the tour quite enjoyable, trying to get to know each of us while teaching and showing us so much of the neighborhood. I would highly recommend her for any tour in the future!

Funny montmarte walk in an hour!

Heidi walked the group through several places in montmartre doing it chronologically and with some funny details about the place. I enjoyed it very much

Walking Tour of Montmartre

Wonderful walking tour of the Montmartre neighborhood. We started in front of the Moulin Rouge and finished outside of Sacre Coeur. Linda was our guide; she was excellent! Lots of detailed information about the neighborhood and various sites; very knowledgeable and personable.

Worthwhile, fun, and informative

Heidi made it interesting and fun by adding a lot of interesting historical information without being tedious. Heidi handled the large group very well. As a client, I think a group of maximum 12-15 people would have been better for everyone.

Good storytelling and fun

Heidi was a very good tour guide! She walked at a reasonable place and brought us to some places that had seating. She had a great sense of humor and spoke clearly. She managed the tour very well. A guy in our group kept interrupting her, but she handled the situation very well and once she talked to him, the guy stopped interrupting her. She gave us some interesting stories and background on what we were seeing. She kept the tour fun and interesting and answered all of our questions to the best of her abilities.

An excellent tour of an historic neighborhood

Our guide Heidi was super informative, witty, and overall a great guide thru one of Paris’ most famed neighborhoods! An excellent time, would have loved to experience some food, this is more a walking, historical type of experience. Highly recommended!

Easy pace and entertaining

Denise was a great guide who took the group at a relaxed pace through Montmartre. She point out places to eat and where to come back to for more time with less crowds.

Phenomenal tour with a superb tour guide!

Mili gave an absolutely awesome, friendly and insightful tour in Montmartre. We had no idea it was so rich with history - art, French and world history, incredible. Mili was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Simply put, we could not recommend her more. Regarding the tour set-up, I think Experience First could make the check-in process much easier for those using the Paris Pass, which is how I reserved the tour for me and my wife. When we arrived at the prescribed meet-up location, there were 4 tour guides and no one was really directing traffic or providing clear instructions. Moreover, I had no idea who to check-in with as the only coordination email I received didn’t provide a tour guide name and simply told us to “find the orange experience first sign with your tour guide”. When there are 4 guides matching that description, expect confusion from your guests. In spite of this, Mili jumped in and helped as soon as she recognized the friction, making us feel very welcome and excited for the tour. Despite the initial check-in issue, the tour was phenomenal - 5 stars with Mili, our superb tour guide!

Excellent tour lots of steep hills

Paula was an excellent guide with a passion for her topic, and a sense of humor! The tour was excellent but not for anyone who has mobility issues there is a lot of climbing of steep hills

Great tour, very cool area

Great tour by Sania! We learned a lot about this interesting old village that became part of Paris. Well worth the time. And amazing basilica with world’s largest mosaic of Jesus to see at the end!

A must do tour!

Katie was so warm and welcoming. She shared her expertise along this two mile walk, bringing such interesting facts. She provided just the right amount of time at each stop and then kept the group moving. Very nicely done! Highly recommend!
