Paris Louvre Museum Must See Skip the Line Tour.

Total scam! The tour guiee never showed up!

It was a total scam! I got there an hour before the tour and the guide never showed up! I even sent a message to ask where he was but never got an answer. I asked for a refund, they said it will take 6-7 days. It is better to ger your own tickets and do the line, you will find very easy the mona lisa and the venus de milo with out the cost of a tour. The entrance is just 20 euros! Just be patient at the gate!

Untimely tour guide

If I could give 0 stats I would. The directions said to meet 15 minutes before the scheduled meet up time. My time was for 1500. So I was there at 1430 in front of the King Louie statue as the direction stated. We waited there until 1500. Our tour guide was still not there. So we went in line because our ticket for entry was for 1500. The tour guide then texts me at 1505 that he was at the statue. He was not there 15min beforehand like the directions stated.

Trap

I understand that the tour mentioned no entry tickets included which is very stupid because our expectation was that the tickets will be provided by the guide and we would be paying extra cost ….but unfortunately the was not case and we had to buy tickets resulting in wastage and delay in our tour.

Wonderful excursion and tour guide

Afsi was a fantastic guide. She arrived early and found us right away. She was ready to get us through our tour as efficiently as possible and she knew several of the Louvre staff once inside. She is a story teller and was made sure we got as close as possible to each work of art, at times that meant asking people to move and she had no problem doing that. This tour brings you to certain pieces of art - it’s impossible to see the entire Le Louvre in just 90 minutes, that would likely take days but for our family, this was a perfect tour. Afsi showed us the more popular works of art but also made sure to include some less likely known stories and artists. She loves history and tells it well. The only recommendation we would have is to maybe change the meeting point since it’s not close to the skip the line entrance but it only took us about ten-fifteen minutes all in to get inside regardless.

Fun and well organised

It was a great trip. Our guide was lovely. I formative and jolly and knew the ins and outs if the tour. We spent no time waiting. Would highly recommend this.

Not worth the cost- just get tickets

This trip only covered the tour itself. It did not include tickets. The tour took less than 90 minutes and was pretty basic. It really was not worth almost $300. We would have been better off just buying the tickets ourselves and waiting a little in line.

Perfect amount of time.

This was the perfect mix of information and speed for our family with an 8 and 10 year old. We truly enjoyed the tour and information!!

Felt too slow

He is very knowledgeable and professional. You need to give him much better microphone. We couldn’t hear most of what he was saying. Also I would’ve wanted less jokes to cover more paintings. Wasted way too much time on joking and trying to be clever with Beyoncé JayZ and Palestine comments. I wouldn’t book it again

Fantastic!

Yse did a great job of educating us throughout the tour. We navigated through the Louvre with ease! I cant imagine having tried to explore it on our own!

Amazing tour!

Our guide, Christophe, was amazing. He blew us away with his knowledge of the art that was covered at the Louvre. We learned so much. We would highly recommend this tour.

Must-visit lifetime experience for everyone on earth!

Unbelievable art work? No part of the museum including ceilings are art-free! Our guide Katrine was wonderful in explaining the history of several key paintings and art works.

Only saw a few things

This is not what we were hoping for. It was more of a history lesson than a “must-see” tour. I think we learned everything there is to know about less than 10 works of art, but my teenager was bored to tears. The worst part was he didn’t even let us get close to the Mona Lisa.

Disappointing

Large crowds and your guide was late, unprepared and focused in a few uninteresting points about various artworks. Lacked overall information about the artwork and the artist. Very disappointed. Skipping the line was the best part of the tour.

Louvre

Absolutely amazing . Juan our tour guys was so sweet/funny and definitely knowledgeable of the louvre and gave us so much information!! also took a to great attractions we needed to see.

My tour guide was the best. He was knowledgeable and was able to relay the information to me very easily. He made the Louvre easy to navigate.

not really skip the lines??

Our guide Christian ( who deserves 5+ stars) was there waiting for us with a sign. He was a lovely guy and was very knowledgeable about the exhibits in the museum. He shared so many stories about the most famous arts. We learned a lot of valuable information that we will remember for the rest of our lives. My only issue is the tour was listed as "SKIP THE LINE". We paid extra for this service but still waited on the long lines like everyone else with tickets. Christian explained that only large groups can skip the line. If that is the case, we should not have paid more for this tour!!

Christophe is THE BEST TOUR GUIDE

Christophe, our semi private tour guide for the four of us was outstanding in all ways. He was a historian of France as well as art. His knowledge knew no bounds. Your company is fortunate to have him. He even stood with us to buy louvre tickets which we did not realize we had to purchase separately and additionally to our tour tix.

Great tour

Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us hidden gems we would not have seen on our own. Our only regrets is we did not have more time with her.

Beauty Lives through Art!

Our Guide, Damien McDonagh was extremely knowledgeable and very patient in answering our questions. He offered us tremendous insights into the sculptures, paintings, artists, and the museum itself. Our time with him was very well spent. I highly recommend the small group tours for the museums. The personal touch added by each of my guides was icing on the cake for making the art come alive and remain memorable to me & my son.

Knowledgeable Guide... well worth it!

Our guide was so full of knowledge! Skipping the line was amazing. Ninety minutes was just the right amount of time for our kids, then the family was able to split up and spend more time seeing other things.

Tour guide saved the day for us

The statue where you meet is not Louis VI its Louis IV …. Big mistake is it’s not skip the line. Our guide Marine was by far the best you could ever ask for. Knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She saved the day. Big cheers to you Marine. Thank you

Great for family of teens

Wonderful tour guide catering to my daughters 12 and 14. Knew less traveled paths through museum and showed us extra pieces along the way. Highly recommend!!

Guided did not show

Guide did not show or communicate. I had to track down what happend and found out she could not give the tour due to ill child. Still awaiting a refund... Very disappointed

Thank you for an amazing tour

It was so easy to reschedule our tour. Juan and Stephanie were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and kind. We learned so much and appreciated skipping the long lines for everything. Juan was also patient and flexible with our young kids. Thank you so much, we will always remember this visit.

Quick tour of the museum

Our tour guide Christophe was excellent. He was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We did a 1 and a half hour tour of the museum with him and he showed us important pieces of art. I would definitely recommend him. Thanks

Louvre Scam

This tour is a scam! The guide did not turn up at the appointed place and time. This was not a case of usmissing the guide as two other parties were in exactly the same position. We were left in the cold and rain. Contacting the helpline was totally useless and the person on the phone could not help. This was no less than the deliberate theft of £120.00.

Superb

The Louvre was phenomenal because of our tour guide and her passion for art history. Her explanation of the meaning of the pieces of art was what made our experience awesome

Worth a visit

If are really into your art, you will love the Louvre. We visited for the experience and to see the Mona Lisa. Lots of different exhibitions and you could spend hours there. Too many things for us to appreciate but did enjoy and it is definitely value for money.

Incredible

We had The most incredible experience with our tour guide! She was so knowledgeable and did such a great job of helping us navigate such a large museum! I would absolutely recommend a guide if it is your first time and would highly recommend our guide!

No show up-believe it or not. No reply from the tour operator. The claim has been dealt with fine by the main office though.

Gripping

The tour was geared to my 11 year granddaughter who was absorbed all the time. The guide chose very interesting paintings as well as the Mona Lisa

Great tour for first time visitors!

We were fortunate enough to have a private tour with AnneClaire on 12/29. Given the holiday week, we were pleasantly surprised with the ease of getting through the lines and moving quickly along once in the Museum. She was very knowledgeable and explained several highlight pieces and statues, giving us much to think about as we return home to the states. Both my husband and I will definately look at paintings and sculptures differently, seeking little hidden attributes. Thank you for a wonderful morning, AnneClaire!

Great knowledge. Read the fine print and get your own entrance tickets early to Louvre. We were able to purchase entrance tix online for a different time and they let us in

Great way to visit the Louve

Afsi was a great guide. She really did have a way to skip the line! The tour was engaging and unique. She highlighted both “popular” works along with lesser known ones with thought provoking prompts. Our teens were captivated by her story telling and especially liked the Ancient Greek works. We will definitely use a guide again and request Afsi.

Fabulous Tour of Louvre highlights!!

Our tour guide was fabulous! She is an art history expert who teaches at the Sorbonne! Her stories were engaging and the information she shared was informative and fascinating! She showed us not only the most famous pieces of art at the Louvre but, possibly more importantly, she showed us her favorite works of art and explained why they were her favorites and what makes them so special. If one is going to do a Louvre tour, this is the one to do!! I recommend this tour very highly!!! Well worth the price and the time!!

Scam NO SHOW GUIDE

They never showed up people at Louvre said they are a scam for private tours. I will be fighting for my money back!

Excellent Tour and Guide

Afsaneh was a great guide! She was passionate and knowledgeable about the sculptures and paintings that we viewed. She made it easy to see so many great works in a short time. Then we had time to go back after she was gone to explore further.

Don’t trust there guides they don’t show up

Our guide NEVER showed up. We got there early and waiting over a hour for the guide. We called the number associated with the guide. No one called us back, no one looked for us. What a disaster. Came all the way from DC. I want a refund!

Awesome Guide

We were lucky enough to have a most incredible guide for our private tour on Oct 30, 2024. She made each painting, sculpture and room come to life with her extensive knowledge, great story telling ability and a great sense of humor! I am sure the Louvre would be a wonderful museum no matter what , however our guide Afsaneh made it a 5 star experience for us💥💥👍👍
