Great trip for our family of four. Not long distances, but kids really enjoyed the trip. Safe biking for a 9 year old and occasionally our 6 year old biked alone too

Best Tour!

What a fantastic tour! I loved seeing things in Paris I’ve never seen before. Everyone knows the big popular monuments, but this tour shows you little nuggets and treasures you’d otherwise miss. Hannah was an amazing guide, full of facts and fun stories. Biking is 100% the best way to see the city. The staff was so helpful. We actually got the meeting time wrong and showed up late for our tour. But, no problem. Christian took us to the group so we could catch up. If you are thinking about a bike tour, bike about is top notch! Highly recommend!!

Great rides start with great guides!

The ride was excellent. Amay proved to be an outstanding tour guide, displaying both animation and enthusiasm. The facts she imparted were not only interesting but also delivered in a carefree manner.

Fantastic bike tour!

Bike tour was delightful and one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. Hannah was truly a wonderful guide. Personable and incredibly informative. She provided so much insight into Parisian history and little known facts (for an American). The bike ride is good for all fitness levels although it rained, which was a bit challenging…however Hannah brought rain ponchos along…tremendous help. Hannah stopped frequently to share safety tips and local facts. Also stopped for a 30 minute lunch break!! Highly recommend this tour!

Fun, active, informative

Good Value and Historical Perspective of Paris

Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and English speaker. Visited several sites I have not visited previously. Tour focused on less well-known sites, although you may pass some of them along the route. Tour more focused on Paris from a historical perspective. Bikes in excellent condition. Mostly flat terrain, but a couple of small climbs were challenging for a couple of riders. Ride was about 45 minutes too long at nearly 4 hours, mostly due to the size of the group (10) and we had to wait for one late arrival. Overall, good value for the money.

A superb way to spend an afternoon in Paris

What a great way to find some hidden gems and explore the nooks and crannies you might not otherwise find at all. Stan was an excellent relaxed and engaging guide who had heaps to share. The bikes were modern and comfortable. To top it off the coffee at Le Peleton cafe was excellent.

Informative and fun!

Even though it rained for most of our tour we all enjoyed it immensely. Our guide, James was funny and interesting and our 12 twins really liked him. I wish we had done the tour at the start of our stay as he showed us many places I would otherwise never have visited and lots of places I would like to go back to, so we could spend more time there.

We had a really fun time. Alyssa was an excellent tour guide who made sure we were safe and provided great insights on the interesting places we visited. We will highly recommend this tour to family and friends.

Surpassed our expectations!

This was such a superb way to learn more about Paris and its history. Our guide Ryan was really brilliant. I’m sure the other guides are great too but Ryan was so charismatic and a born storyteller so I actually remember the facts he told us. Honestly he made the tour one of the highlights of the whole trip. I’d recommend doing this tour on one of your first days so you can then revisit places you liked.

Wet but won’t forget

Unfortunately it was raining so not ideal but still enjoyable as the guide was upbeat and knowledgeable. Good to have bike lanes and not too much traffic.

The garden in Versailles is wonderful I would pass on the palace tour due to the large number of people crowded into small spaces

Our guide was amazing! He showed us lots of great and interesting places in the beautiful Le Marais quarter one wouldn't have seen otherwise. It was big fun cycling through the charming streets of Paris. Even if one's traveling solo, it's super easy to get in touch with the other group members and to share experiences about what to do/see in Paris:)

Stories Off The Beaten Path Bike Tour - LOVED IT!

This tour was INCREDIBLE, quirky and perfectly titled. I learned of events in the history of Paris that were not even mentioned on other tours but are just as interesting to me. First of all, don't let the whole "riding a bike" thing concern you: I am a 62-year-old woman and possibly the least athletic person on the planet and had no trouble with the exception of the two short hills leaving the parking garage where the bikes are stored. However, the lovely tour guide prepared us for this by saying "there is no shame in walking the bike at any time." The three-speed bikes were in excellent condition and very easy to ride. (Helmets and baskets are provided but optional.) The remainder of the ride was mostly flat and took place in the bike lanes of sparsely travelled side streets. Alyssa is a charming and knowledgeable guide with a fabulous sense of humor. We saw beautiful architecture and heard historical facts which gave me a better understanding of the spirit of the French people throughout history. (One of the first places we stopped was near the home of Victor Hugo. Once the bike tour concluded, I returned here to tour his apartment - also a great experience and FREE!) The information on meeting up for the tour was clear and accurate, the price was very reasonable, and the content of the tour was outstanding! This bike tour was the highlight of my trip to Paris, and I enthusiastically recommend it!

Fun Excursion

Fun excursion through the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we were truly able to experience parts of Paris we would not have seen otherwise.

Too much talking

Talk too much need to ride more .. need more riding to see.. the tour guide energy was oki his facts were not maybe correct . Kind but need more energy and more riding bike

Wonderful way to get to really know Paris!

Stan is an excellent guide and has so many fascinating stories about Paris! We wouldn’t have felt comfortable riding bikes around Paris before but now we use them every day. We found so many new areas to explore on this bike tour!

A different perspective on Paris.

This was an excellent and informative tour, Simon had great knowledge of Paris and it was lots of fun exploring by bike, I wouldn't have felt confident doing that independently.

Unexpected excellence

A 'must do' experience! Cycling through Paris at a relaxing pace, very informative, outside of the usual tour sites and history narratives. Great information, awesome delivery - thank you Alyssa, our guide for the day! And ... to make your overall experience complete, make sure you come well ahead of time (30 min or so) and enjoy a 'pain au chocolat' and coffee in the Le Peloton Café prior to your tour.

Great mix of sightseeing, history, exercise, and laughter

Jude was a great guide! He was knowledgeable and fun. We did this tour the afternoon we arrived in Paris and it was a great activity after a long, tiring flight! We would definitely do this tour/use this company again.

Paris has over 500 km of...

Paris has over 500 km of bike paths and it was wonderful to travel around the city above ground. I hadn’t been on a bike in years and felt totally at ease on this tour. It was great.

Best day in Paris

This was such a fun tour through places in Paris that most tourists don't go to. Even the friend I traveled with who has been to Paris many times saw new places and learned new things. Our guide Ryan was so knowledgeable and such a good storyteller. He also kept a good watch on us as we navigated narrow streets and sometimes busy intersections. The terrain is almost entirely flat so the riding is easy but you do need to always be paying attention to your surroundings and where you are going. Having beautiful weather also helped make this such an enjoyable afternoon.

Nice

Nice experiance...off beaten track Paris, recomend doing it on Sunday or Holliday with less trafic. Sort of lacked the honest feeling, that the people involved were doing this for any other reason then money.

Dazed and confused?

Sadly this did not live up to all the great reviews. Dan the guide was a nice enough guy but it felt like he was uncertain and lost much of the time and was less than engaging. The route was also pretty uninspiring and the whole thing felt like an over-rated tourist trap to us.

My historical perspective of Paris much improved.

We had an amazing morning with Allisa, she has a very good handle on history of the spots that we visited, and Paris in general. We learned things that we never would have. It helps to have an engaged and super smart guide. The whole experience was uncomplicated, professional and very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Dissapointing

Our American guide was okay but there was nothing 'off the beaten track' on this tour. We went to tourist hotspots like the famous Place des Vosges. I was disappointed but that's on me because I should have read the itinerary and seen that this tour only visits well-known places (eg. Notre Dame is NOT off the beaten path!). If you want to see actual 'off the beaten track' places then this is not the tour for you. If you just want to ride around a handful of busy places then this might be your jam.

A brilliant 3 hour trip not to be missed

Emily in Paris, Hotel with canon ball that is now a library, the botanic gardens, crepe in hand, the other people. Suggest that the nearest M is printed on info sheet. Or state tha Peleton Cafe location is close to Notre dame. Secret garden in Place de Voges

Wonderful....

This guided tour saved our trip to Paris. Allyssa, sorry if I spelled it wrong, was wonderful, knowledgeable, and funny. We had just finished a week cycling in the Netherlands and this was the perfect ending to our trip across the pond.

Lovely way to spend an afternoon!

Our tour guide Stan was great, really friendly and had lots of interesting facts up his sleeve. The bike ride was very gentle, suitable for all abilities. The atmosphere throughout was lovely and everyone had a fantastic time.

A cycling tour de force

Cedric our guide was extremely knowledgeable and volunteered so many interesting historical facts and anecdotal stories that really brought hidden Paris to life. A wonderful way to explore the hidden gems of Paris and navigate by bike the quiet, narrow, cobbled backstreets of this amazing city.

A wonderful Saturday...

A wonderful Saturday discovering the hidden gems of Paris. It was perfect for 2 boys age 7 and 9 after a 2 hour chocolate tour. We had a blast a learned a lot. It is a must do in Paris.

Wonderful way to see Paris

It was such a fun way to visit Paris- at first I was worried I’d be out of my league with people in spandex or something- do not worry- laid back and enjoyable- James was a wonderful guide. I loved that we were able to cover more ground and see unique places that we couldn’t have all seen on a walk tour- ( he had great I do and stories)and if your like me, and your feet hurt from walking on cement all day- this was wonderful. Only thing I’d change was get done earlier and not stop for lunch- didn’t realize that was included- but - was a cute area for lunch. Thank you!

Great way to see Paris

Best part of our trip to Paris! I took my 10 year old daughter and she was fine riding the bike through the streets. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour pointed out interesting parts of French history. We both loved it!!

Best Bike Tour in Paris!

What a great way to start off our trip and get a bit more familiar with the city! I went with my 13 year old son and it was an easy mostly flat ride with just a few inclines. The bikes were comfortable and had baskets for water and other personal items. Loved riding the city streets and learning a bit of history and unique facts and seeing some hidden spots. It was easy to follow our tour guide and I appreciated his relaxed nature and obvious passion for the city. We had a good balance of riding and short stops with just enough info. A break in the middle was great and we had a chance to eat something or sit at a Cafe for a drink before we finished out the tour. I highly recommend the bike tour anytime during your stay in the city.

Great time around the city

James was a great guide and we had a lot of fun! This is a great way to see some off the beaten path sights and learn more about the neighborhoods and history. I would highly recommend this excursion.

This being my third trip...

This being my third trip to the city, it was great to see something different. The ride was easy but still gave me a little exercise and the guides were excellent.

Hannah was a great guide. Had a blast! And the coffee at Peloton (where the tour picks up) was also excellent.

Hannah was great! She was a really good storyteller, and it was a great way to spend 3.5 hours. Also met the owner of the Le Peloton who also operates the tour, and he's was a really good guy! Coffee (americano) also was great; really good beans. Really like the whole vibe.

Nice bike tour
