Great guide, lots of interesting information - nice afternoon seeing parts of Paris we would not otherwise have noticed. Recommended!

Friendly guide but confusing system of the tour company

The company‘s instructions are very confusing 🫤 some tours start at their office, others somewhere else in Paris. As we had made it to the office in time, we couldn’t still take part in the tour we had booked because it started at a different place and reaching it in time from the office was impossible. We were offered a different tour instead and the guide was very friendly and did the tour well; however, our tour didn’t last longer than 30 minutes and was therefore far too short for the money paid.

Le Marais tour fabulous

William - our tour guide was very informative. Our group was small which made it easy to follow and listen. He had very good tips on where to visit (museums and food).

A good orientation to the neighborhood!!

Sarah knew the area very well and pointed out many local spots not a part of the tour that she thought I might want to go back to visit on my own. She was easy to understand and moved us along at just thei right pace.

Great guide, great neighborhood!

We really enjoyed our guided tour of the Marais – our guide, Sara, showed us a wide range of sights that really brought the history of the neighborhood to life, and her easygoing personality made it seem more like being casually shown around by a super knowledgeable friend than like a canned, pre-planned tour! Such a great experience.

Loved our stroll through the Latin Quarter

We loved our tour and learned a lot about the Latin Quarter. Elyse was so nice and easy to understand. Would absolutely recommend if you are new to the area. My teens found it enjoyable as well!

Exceptional and unexpected private tour

Exceptional tour that turned out to be private since we were the only couple. Our guide, Marianne [sp], was so knowledgeable and we learned so many things about the Latin Quarter. She brought the entire area to life. Highly recommended!

We had a great tour of the Latin Quarter with Paula. She was very energetic and lots of fun. We saw a number of great sites, heard great stories (and advice) and ended up learning a lot about the area. Definitely worth the price of the tour! Wholeheartedly recommend!

Great way to spend a free day in Paris

Learned a lot about the Latin Quarter. My guide was informative and friendly. I would recommend a walking tour like this of a neighborhood if you have a few hours in the morning or afternoon.

Which tour? We’ve taken 2- both were outstanding- first was st. Germaine with Perrine- exceptional! Second was with Sara Marais with Sara- wonderful!

Great walking tour. Although the route can be strenuous for some it is worthwhile. Our guide was very informative and allowed us ample time to take photos. Would highly recommend this tour.

Montmarte tour

Paula was our guide on this tour. She was animated made the history of the area fun. Explained and pointed out interesting facts and kept it fun in the extreme heat. We even went back to the restaurant she recommended and had a wonderful lunch

Great views, and learned about some things I did not know about. Definitely worth a day trip if you have the time.

Left Bank- much to see

Most memorable parts were seeing Shakespeare & Co, the Sorbonne and the many great parts of the Left Bank. Very friendly guide who was highly knowledgeable about the area.

Lovely experience

Walking around and hearing about the history of the area. Guide was very knowledgeable and gave an informative and pleasant presentation

Tour left before 9:30.

The tour had already left by the time we got there and we were there 10 to 15 minutes early. We were not the only people who were left in the lurch. It's been a couple days and I'm still waiting to make sure we get a refund. We have another viator tour scheduled in Tours and hope that it turns out to be successful. We have used viator in the past and this is the first time we have had a problem.

Have Fun Visiting Montmartre

Stephanie was the guide for this tour, and she was wonderful. She had a lot of knowledge about the history of Montmartre, and she made sure we saw and understood the key spots in the area. She also gave recommendations on restaurants and places to visit outside of the tour. She has a vibrant personality which made the tour fun.

Tour was good. Guide was a bit hard to understand at times but very friendly and accommodating of the entire group!

Fun introduction to le Marais

We were a few minutes late and the company called to confirm our arrival. This was extremely helpful because then it was even easier to find our guide. Cecile was a lot of fun. She speaks English beautifully and brought Paris history to life with little anecdotes. We enjoyed it very much and it was inexpensive. We stayed in le Marais to shop after the tour and had delicious falafel as recommended by Cecile. Thanks!

Superlative Guide

Jean-Phillipe was a superlative guide. Each place we stopped he told the story of where we were standing with meaningful anecdotes that acquainted us with French culture. We loved, especially, hearing about the architecture, the free French university, Hemingway's ample income while claiming poverty in France, and how the Romulus / Remus sculpture tied France with Italy. When we asked questions having nothing to do with the tour, such as what the aftershock of Covid was like in France or how the abortion laws worked, he was diplomatic, objective, and informative. His tour was so thorough that by the time we completed it we felt we would not be lost in the neighborhood and he gave us wonderful ideas for what monuments and churches to explore. We found him incredibly generous with his time and expertise and give our highest recommendation to his tour.

Wonderful guide great explanation about the secret court yard and covered passages each one with different history and authentic shopping also showed us where Emily in Paris was filmed. One of the better guided tours

An afternoon in Montmarte

Great tour with Ugo. Thanks for sharing behind the scenes stories of the artists and writers who made their homes and livelihoods in this area. Fascinating history and a great walk.

I would definitely recommend

We spent 2 hours walking through Saint Germaine de Pres with our guide, Arianna. We were the only two so really had personalized service. Arianna is very knowledgeable and personable. We had a lovely time and learned alot.

Great way to learn about Paris

Not expecting much -since this was a free tour - we were really pleased with the guide (Alberto) and the tour content. We started with a brief but very enjoyable history lesson at Notre Dame, wandered through interesting sites through time, and ended with "modern" history at the Louvre and adjacent Tuilleries gardens. Alberto did not try to overwhelm us with facts but shared a lot of interesting history along the way.

Fun tour!!

The stories about the artists and the history - including 5 minutes to enter Sacre Coeur (if entry line is short)would be a nice addition. Guide was informative and fun :)

Two thumbs up!

We went on the Montmartre tour (Sacre Couer was our last stop) with Eloise as our tour guide and we enjoyed this a lot. Eloise was lively, knowledgeable, and very engaged. We almost didn't make it to the tour, but the tour operator (Memories France) was great and called us to let us know that the tour was about to start (we were in the vicinity less than 5 minutes away from the meeting place and thought that it would start 15 minutes later). Eloise was very gracious together with the rest of the group. Montmartre is a lovely place - it has a character of its own. A must-visit! The tour guide, tour, and tour operator are two thumbs up!

Personable guide, cheerful and helpful. The walk lasted about 1.5 hours and wasn’t as informative as I would’ve liked. She did choose good highlights. Would’ve liked more history not necessarily about architecture.
