Great experience in understanding the mechanisms of a Boulangerie. Recommended for families, especially if you have a few spare hours in the day. Plus, you get to keep all the bread you make.

We enjoyed this behind the scenes tour. Upon arrival we were given drinks and samples of the bakeries pastries. Our guide Serena was lovely and fun. Everyone enjoyed the experience

Unresponsive tour operator never contacted us with location

The tour details in the booking say they will send the location of the experience a few days before it. The location is not listed in the booking like many others. The tour operator doesn’t communicate with you. I emailed them about a week out looking for the location. Never heard from them. I emailed again a few days before. Never heard from them. I emailed the day before nothing. I would stay away from this vendor. Horrible.

Wonderful bakery tour

The guide was Nellie who was just great with our 3 kids. A hands on experience making baguettes, croissants and “financiers” that we took away with us. The behind the scenes tour was excellent. Highly recommend- well worth the cost to experience a bit of Parisian culture.

Not really baking

This is an expensive tour. While it is interesting to go behind the scenes of a working bakery, all you do is shape a baguette, roll a croissant, and take turns stirring cookie dough. Fun for kids. Not much for an adult

You won't regret it!

Our family had such a great time in this experience learning about local bread making, small sweet cakes and croissants. Our host was friendly, personable and was great at involving our children in the process (ages 12 and 15). Highly recommend!

Worth every cent! Was absolutely fantastic!

This experience felt really genuine! It catered for everyone in our family, was hands on and interactive and talking with the pastry chef's was really interesting! The kids wanted to come back at 3am the next day to start work!

This Paris French Bakery Experience was the highlight of our trip! We will never look at croissants and baguettes the same way again. Learning and participating in the baking was so fun. Our guide Katie and her boulangerie team were great teachers and very kind!

It’s a scam. Do not book. Once you book, there is no information on where to go. The phone number to reach them does not work. They don’t respond to emails.

Fantastic (and delivious) Family Experience

Fantastic experience! Highly recommend for tweens/teens. We learned so much about how bakeries in France operate and got to make baguettes, croissants, and other pastries.

Fantastic Family Experience in Paris - and Delicious too!

We had the best time on our baking tour and learned so much. Our guide was fantastic! And it was really cool to see how a working French bakery (that serves. It only it’s own customers but also hotels, restaurants, business, etc) around the Marais operates — and the baguettes and pastries we made were delicious too!!!

Lighthearted and tasty intro to French recipes.

Ananya was super sweet and made things easy and fun for me and my three daughters inna cute family owned boulangerie, we got glimpses of workers in action while we did our light work. We got to take our baking home and enjoyed the balance of learning and watching. This is not for seasoned pastry chefs. It's a lighthearted intro to standard french baking. We had a lot of fun.

Rough start, but yummy event

The tour/class itself was a lot of fun and really interesting. Our guide was engaging and knowledgeable. Seeing the "behind the scenes" of the bakery was intriguing. However the poor communication from the vendor prior to the event was very frustrating. I almost canceled due to the lack of communication but I'm glad it all worked out.

Baguette tour

Our tour guide was lovely and taught our daughter to make baguettes and more. He gave us some great facts about bread in France, through history and today- and even recommended an amazing cheese shop in the neighborhood. Perfect rainy day activity for kids who love to bake, and adults too.

Best experience in Paris

So happy I booked this experience with my partner. The bakery was beautiful and our guide was so friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend for something different to do. The breakfast before hand was so tasty and the amount of treats we left with was perfect for our picnic lunch.

Great experience. Guide was so fun! He was personable and very knowledgeable about the baking processes. Getting to go behind the scenes in the Parisian bakery was one of the highlights of our trip! And we left with more baked goods than we could possibly eat!!

Memorable and TONS of food!

An amazing experience! Started out eating some pastries from the bakery, then learned about the different types of baguettes in France. We got to see how they were made and even rolled a few ourselves. Although we didn’t actually learn how to make the bread from scratch (baguettes take 2 days from beginning to end), it was fun to participate in the forming process. The bakers put it in the oven for us. Then we went down to the sweets floor to make little cakes (financiers) and chat with the tour guide and the bakers. All the bakers were so kind and even gave us extra treats from what they were working on. Our tour guide Elyes was not only knowledgeable, but also very fun and made the experience so memorable! Came out with 3 baguettes, two rolls, 3 free-shaped breads, probably 20+ financiers, and a new friend. Great value and a great experience.

Exceptional!

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide was exceptional and really let the kids and adults get involved in the bakery experience. We made baguettes, cookies, and of course croissants. Would highly recommend for kids!

Great way to experience something that many tourists would never get to. Great for adults and kids. Stairs are narrow and steep so wear good shoes

An Absolute Must in Paris!

Wow! What a way to start our family vacation in Paris. We were in an actual bakery, learning to make croissants, sweet treats and baguettes with the best guide, Gioia. She shared the history of the pastries and made this experience unforgettable.

We had the most memorable experience with our host Giuia. She was spectacular with my kids and even got my young one warmed up and laughing! We learned a lot, and made a ton of tasty treats to bring home with us! I highly recommend this tour if you’d like a behind the scenes Parisian baking experience!

Bakery tour for everyone in the family

The bakery tour at Miss Manon was amazing. We have teenage boys and they were skeptical but loved it. The teacher/guide was so much fun! Even the fun experience for our kids offered wonderful baking insights for me. And then we tasted everything and even brought fresh bread home! I highly recommend this experience for the whole family!

I cannot say enough about this experience. Mourad was a fantastic behind-the-scenes guide, and we learned a lot. My 12-year-old had so much fun learning to make baguettes, rolls, croissants, and financiers. It was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend to all ages.

Wonderful experience

Very fun afternoon with my twelve year old granddaughter. Michael was a great host. We may bread and madeleine's that were yummy.

Such a fun experience to be taken to the "back" of the bakery...both downstairs and upstairs. Great experience for kids and sooooo much food! We took home 3 loaves of bread along with other goodies. Totally recommend this tour!

Great Family Experience

I would recommend this experience for families and groups! The tour was our first stop once we arrived in Paris and it was so much fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and welcoming to our family. Everyone enjoyed it!

Magnifique!!!

We learned so many fun facts and had such a great time! This was an incredibly memorable experience for my family. We never felt rushed and the bakers in action were so kind and accommodating while we clearly invaded their space and productivity. The location was very easy to find and get to, and we went home with more than we were even able to finish! So glad we did this.

Fun with Balthazar

Our guide Balthazar was really engaging, super friendly and helpful. He was also sweet with the two young kids in our group which makes this experience super family friendly if anyone is looking for a family oriented experience.

Fantastic authentic bakery tour

Our guide Balthazar spoke excellent English and we had a great time making baguettes, financiers, and croissants, with lots to take home too. It was a small group of 4 adults and 2 children which was an ideal size. Would definitely recommend this behind the scenes bakery tour.

Great way to start our day in Paris!

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. A well established busy Paris bakery will serve you fresh pastries with drink of your choice when you arrive. Tour is in fully functioning bakery while you make bread and pastry. The guide was wonderful and we enjoyed our time. I would highly recommend!

A wonderful highlight of our time in Paris

We enjoyed an educational and fun experiential afternoon with our 14 year old granddaughter with Stephane at the Bayat bakery in Paris. The bakery was packed with customers when we arrived for our 1:00 appointment - obviously well regarded by locals! Once we moved with our small group to the behind the scenes areas of the bakery all attention was focused on us with a special focus on engaging the youth in fun participation. Stephane was a master at including each youth and providing a fun and delicious time for all.

Don’t miss this tour

Great fun for the family ages 8-70. Amazing to see how a bakery really works and getting to make our own baguettes a blast.

Fantastic experience! A real highlight

The guide was amazing and brought the whole thing to life! The kids had an amazing time and it was probably the best thing we did in Paris. Only let down was the awful viator website but don't let that stop you booking!!

Fun experience!

This tour was so much fun. Alittle confusing at first as to where the meeting point would be, but once established, everything was well organized. Baking baguettes in a authentic Paris bakery! I would definitely recommend this activity.

We had a wonderful time! Completely worth it. A suggestion from personal experience: do not wear dark coloured clothes as they will be coated with white flour : )

Baking Behind the Scenes

Our baking adventure at Miss Manor Boulangerie was interactive and memorable. Kate our tour guide did a thorough job of explaining the baking process and of bringing the “art” of baking to life. We met the hard working bakers who create in the wee hours of morning and later in the day, sweet and savory items for our enjoyment. We left the bakery at the end of our class with the baguettes and cookies we made….yum! I would highly recommend this class.

Last minute add to schedule. Was best experience in Paris when we were there. Easy on feet compared to other experiences. More bread taken home than we can eat . Woujd do again and recommend to our friends?

A fun interactive experience

Fun activity and nice way to learn about French baking and culture. Our guide was very friendly, outgoing and supportive of the children in the group. More of an interactive tour than a cooking class, but great to have the chance to see so many different treats being made and to have some hands on interaction making baked goods to take home. Would recommend.

Fun and Delicious Bakery Experience

We started with a wonderful bakery breakfast. Bakery is amazing. Nellie was our leader. She was excellent. We made bread and pastries. She did a great job with the people to keep everyone involved. It was fun to go behind the scenes and see the bakery in action. Definitely recommend. I would have liked to have had the recipe for the pastries that we made included.
