Fun with art!

Bell was a fun, energetic, and informative guide. The tour was very informative and made you really think about and understand the art. That was a great experience for us and our 3 kids, 10, 12, 13.

Excellent guide. Time management.

Excellent guide. BUT 30 min of a 2 hour tour were wasted on BR time, equipment failure etc. We should not be paying for that time!!!

Do not use this service

I never found the guide. Nobody called to give us a meeting spot. We waited for 20 minutes and never received a phone call to Che k on us. We had to pay for tickets AGAIN. ! Do not use this service! I want my money back.

I loved this museum and tour! Our guide was so wonderful and knowledgeable. This museum maybe my favorite of Paris. The skip the line is amazing as otherwise you would be waiting a long time to get in.

A must do tour!

What a fabulous tour! Violette our guide was phenomenal! She loves her subject and really drew us into the world she was taking us through! My teen daughter was especially enthralled by all the tales that personalized the experience.

Fabulous and Fun

Violette our guide was fantastic. She is energetic, filled with stories and information, transformed our Orsay experience into a delight. We moved into the museum swiftly and her tour was so engaging and well organized, we will consider more.

Knowledgeable guide!

The guide (Emmanuel) was excellent. My family and I walked away with a good understanding of art through the various periods, how paint was used, the colors and subject. Definitely worth it!

Fantastic guide!

The museum was amazing! We had such a great time learning about the different artwork! My whole family really enjoyed our tour guide, he was be very knowledgeable about the different artwork.

Wonderful experience !

Muse d'Orsay was part of our one week visit in Paris for art and culture, along with other main attractions. The display of Impressionism art of the great masters is wonderful. We admire them by now through books and media but the experience to see in front of our eyes the original artworks was deeply emotional. Recommended!

Informative and convenient

I really appreciate that the tour provided a lot of background information to give context to the art works displayed. Guide was funny, charming, and and knowledgeable. The “skip the line” aspect was easy and convenient.

Amazing Musee D’Orsay!

Loved my visit to the Orsay! No problem meeting up and we could hear the guide through the headphones. Wish it was 30 minutes longer, but very interesting commentary. Beautiful museum with amazing artwork!

A great experience

Violette was an incredible tour guide. Her depth of knowledge is amazing, she spoke about art and artists in great detail and provided many interesting anecdotes. She is obviously extremely passionate about impressionist movement and art, and she did a great job of sharing that passion with us. Her English is flawless, she was very easy to understand, and she delivered one of the top tour experiences I ever had.

Very disappointed

Could not find the guide at the meeting place although we arrived early. Thousands of people…guide did not answer phone or text, called repeated and a company rep (in Asia or India) could not reach local office either. Finally bought tickets and audio guide from the museum. Paying Viator was a total waste of time and money. Meeting place needs to be more specific and guide or company need to respond to emails and phone calls!

Great tour - guide was super knowledgeable and energetic. Will definitely need to go back. Even my 12yo daughter enjoyed it! Highly recommend!

Avi was an AMAZING guide. He made a long tour fun -- even for my teenager. He was knowledgable, comedic, and had a clear passion for what he did. I learned so much -- even though I was a student in France years ago and visited the museum multiple times then. A huge thanks for a wonderful tour!

Educational and Enjoyable

Violette was an excellent guide! Our tour was at 9am, and we were able to get ahead of the crowd. She was very knowledgeable and took time to answer questions. She explained the art, the artists, and the events around the time of the paintings in a way that was interesting and educational. I highly recommend her tour!

Love D'Orsay

Our guide, Hugo, provided a lot of good background for this tour. He put the change of styles between classical and realist to impressionist into historical context, both in terms of the motivations behind each movement, as well as the social and political events shaping the times in which the artists lived. This really added dimension to our appreciation of the aesthetics of the works, which were beautiful.

A look into the Orsay

Avi was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of insight into the art we were seeing, but at times he was a little long.

This was an amazing experience. The museum was incredible & our tour guide was the best. I learned so much. I would not go to the Orsay the first time with a tour guide.

Worth it!

The guide who met us outside the museum was very friendly and helpful. Our tour guide, Anne Claire, was very warm and kind, knowledgeable, and mostly funny. The visit with the guide was short enough to get a glimpse and highlights of the masterpieces and we had enough time to explore the museum on our own. We had a great time!

Amazing Adam! Book this tour at the Orsay!

Adam is the best and you will have an amazing time with him, too! He made our group of 19 feel super small. He remembered everyone's name on the first try, brought us all into the tour with his stories and background information. Adam is insanely knowledgeable about the pieces in the museum and the tour told a story which was wonderful. Also, this museum is amazing and would be at the top of my to dos in Paris list.

Outstanding Refund from Tour Company?

We were no more than five minutes late, and the group left without us. I immediately called the company directly and asked to be directed to where the tour was. They said that was not possible and that Viator would be responsible for allowing a refund. I then called Viator who told me that the tour company was responsible for the refund. I have waited days for a refund from either the tour company directly or Viator and have heard nothing regarding the outcome. This experience makes me weary about what companies Viator agrees to do business with. Needless to say I am disappointed and would like a response and favorable outcome from either party.
