I enjoyed the tour and she patiently took many photos I requested her to take. She did not rush the tour and gave us enough time to go around, see the place and enjoy the time. Our guide Belen was tremendous. She was a wealth of knowledge and made our afternoon touring a very delightful experience. Private tours are the best!

Our guide, Augustina, was so informative and accomodating. It starting raining and she took us to a little retailer where we got umbrellas and raincoats. Walking up the hill to the basilica, we would walk for a while and then stop and she would talk to us and give us a lot of history of the area. The whole tour was lovely!

Amazing guide and a wonderful tour of Montmartre

Went on a guided walking tour of Montmartre and, having visited Montmartre several times on previous trips to Paris, I was already in love with this very charming and unique neighborhood. Had the privilege of being guided by Tamari, an extremely knowledgeable (and funny!) guide for the tour, and she provided such an in-depth history of this fascinating part of Paris that I fell even more in love with Montmartre. Being an artist herself really brought out her passion for the history of art in Montmartre during this tour, and the insights and knowledge she provided, as well as her recommendations, really made this tour special. .would highly recommend this tour, as well as Tamari, if you really want to learn more about this incredible part of Paris.

Francois was our tour guide and he was absolutely the best! My mother and I had a fabulous time learning all of the secrets of Monmartre. He took us everywhere. And then was nice enough to wait to get us a cab, and recommend all the best pastry shops. It was perfect!

François is phenomenal!

Francois was amazing! It was just him plus our family of 3. He took us to secret places in Monarte, explained the history of certain art, buildings and landmarks plus included a binder with the corresponding art. We learned so much and had a blast listening to stories about the people that occupied the streets before us. We also learned that the prettier the restaurant the worse the food. Francois also explained that most of the art is from China! Except for a few fancy galleries and the portrait artists! Using Framcois gave so much more context to our experience. 5 Stars!!

Montmartre & Sacre Couer

Humor was excellent. He knew the history of Montmartre, including the artists and important figures. He took us through streets that we would otherwise not have seen, all the while explaining their relevance.

We had an incredible experience exploring Montmartre!! Mich had a massive amount of knowledge! We had a tour with him at the Louvre and loved him so much we requested him for our Montmartre tour. 10/10 he was the best!!!!!!

Fantastic tour and wonderful guide!

Tamari was a wonderful guide and the Montmartre District and Sacre Coeur tour was everything we wanted it to be! It was exactly the right balance of history, art, beautiful views of Paris and food guide that made it engaging and fun for my whole family (which included a college student who is hard to please!). In fact, we are all hard to please as we have been on many tours before - this is one of the best and I highly recommend the tour and our guide Tamari!

Best Tour Guide

Of all the tours we did in Paris in January our Montmartre District & Sacre Coeur was our favorite. Our tour guide François was excellent and made the tour so much fun. His wealth of knowledge was impressive and we learned so much. He was delightful and had a wonderful sense of humor. The places we went were so special and we learned so much about the district and Sacre Coeur. I can't wait to go back!

One of the best guides in the business!

Wow! Anatole was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. His extensive knowledge of art, Parisian history and culture was truly amazing. He was also so friendly and funny. We lucked out and had him as our guide at the Pompidou later in the day. His tours were definitely highlights of our trip!

Great Sacre Coeur/Montmartre tour!

We LOVED this tour!! The history of this area is so vast and fascinating and our guide was really great!! She was patient with us and accommodated all of our needss! I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone! It was our second time up the hill!!

Georgia was our guide. An enthusiastic art historian who guided us through fascinating neighborhoods with wonderful stories, facts, and historical research about each area. Timed beautifully we ended our tour as the sun was setting. Perfect for an impressionist painter!

Our tour guide, Augustina, was extremely knowledgable, and she tailored the tour to us and what we wanted. She is so passionate about art history and it let us enjoy the tour so much more. It was amazing to see the place where Impressionism art was created and have an amazing guide to take you through it. She knew everything there was to know and even knew where to stop for amazing crepes to take while we walked!

Montmartre with Tamari

The walk was amazing. Our guide Tamari was exactly who we were looking for—someone passionate about the artsy area of Montmartre. We enjoyed hearing stories of Van Gogh, and seeing the area he and other artists lived. Tamari shared stories about Picasso living quarters and the artist who took him in when he had no where else to live. The art studio is still standing and being used by artists. As we walked by certain sites that we could later enjoy revisiting in movies, such as Emily Goes to Paris, were pointed out. There were even sightings of the Eiffel Tower on our walk. I am happy we chose this walk and happy to have Tamari as our guide.
