Midnight in Paris

Our evening with David was the highlight of our trip to Paris! He tailored the experience to everything we wanted to see, stopped so we could get photos, and shared stories about his city. We will recommend this tour (and David specifically) to anyone visiting Paris!

Terrible Experience, not magical

Worst experience! Can't understand the 5 star reviews. Our guide was lovely but the car was awful! We could barely hear her talking over the loud engine. The window was open so the car exhaust came right in. My husband was nauseous and coughing from the horrific odor (he was on the side with the open window). We asked if it was possible to close the window so the guide did. It helped a bit but then the windows fogged up and we couldn't see. We contacted the tour operator and their response was, "the distinct smell is inherent and part of the unique experience". So, if you want to ride around Paris while inhaling the exhaust of an old car and having your clothes, hair and coat stink for days (seriously, my husband's coat still smelled 3 days after this ordeal) then this tour is for you. My advice, don't even think about it! 🤢🤮

A must do for first timers!!!

Simon was delightful! Knowledgeable and fun. The tour at night is the best Time as traffic is much lighter. How awesome to see the tower light show and drive right under it! If you are a first time visitor to Paris like us, book this tour!!

The city of lights in a 2CV

Great tour in a classic car!

Sofien was a great driver. Our evening tour by Citroen was a great way to cap off our first day in Paris. We got a great overview of where to go and what to do with the benefit of Paris at night. Sofien even timed the drive perfectly so we could see the Eiffel Tower sparkle on the hour. Great tour in a classic car!

Something different!

David gave us a fun filled farewell to Paris on the last night of our stay. Can highly recommend this tour for a unique view of the city.

Fun and Rain Filled 5-Star Tour

I don’t think I have enough good things to say about our guide Simon from the Paris by Night in a classic Citroen 2CV. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement. First things first. Simon arrived at our hotel in the pink Citroen. I love the charm of these vehicles that are completely opposite of a sports car. He asked about some of the sights we would want to see and we told him a couple but decided to leave most of the details to him. He was very knowledgeable and knew the streets extremely well. He told us about the history of the various neighborhood we went through (Arc de Triomphe, Madeleine, Montmartre to name a few) and was also open to our questions. Super friendly, in other words. He recommended going by the St. Germain de Prés area which was not one we were as familiar with so that was helpful as we returned the next day for a nice lunch. Where the story gets interesting is when it started raining. And by rain, I mean torrential, tropical-like downpours that would have made me call it an early night. Simon handled the situation exceptionally well and was able to continue our tour with the help of my girlfriend’s daughter who helped Simon when the windshield wipers got stuck (it is a classic car after all!). He even was OK with changing our drop off point to the university she was staying at instead of our hotel. Our trip ended up being memorable for so many more reasons than simply sightseeing in Paris in a classic car. Simon ensured we enjoyed the evening to the fullest and we would highly recommend him to serve as your guide in Paris.

Speedy little Citroen, great driver

The driver, Alain, came to pick me up at the hotel early after the administrator contacted about a slight change in timing, so communication was good. unfortunately my sister's Eurostar was very delayed and there was government curfew of running the buses, metro and trains from 9pm so they kindly arranged for me to be collected from the hotel and pick my sister up from Gare du Nord. It was really accommodating and appreciated, Alain was really brilliantly helpful. The driver, Alain, plotted out our routed to which we agreed and we were able to stop at Notre Dame, Tour Eiffel etc to take pictures. he explained the history of the places were passed or visited and was a safe driver and a very good person to talk to. Quite a few other visitors to Paris were admiring the little Citroen when we stopped to take photos around the city on a beautiful night. Alain returned us both to our hotel at the end of the tour. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and my many thanks to Alain for being flexible with the political issues following the shooting of a 17 year old boy in Nanterre causing problems in transport. I would definitely recommend this tour for Paris at night.

Great tour but not what we purchased

First off, the tour and guide were great, and riding a 2cv was so much fun. We were very disappointed, however, only because our two-hour tour was one hour.

Must do! The best way to spend our last night in Paris!

Comfortable and fun, we hit all the landmarks and the tour was personalized for us! Our guide was very good and accommodating.

What an enjoyable evening in Paris! Our driver, Thibeau, knew every shortcut, every street to take to make sure we had a great experience. Timed Champagne at the Eiffel Tower perfectly as the light show began. His excellent choice of music for each sight was fantastic, We highly recommend this outting if you are in Paris!

Fantastic experience!

This was a highlight of our Paris trip. Our driver Christoff was excellent and outstanding. Being from Paris, he knew the history and landmarks and provided great information in an entertaining way. We stopped to take pictures of the Eiffel tower lit up at night. The car was a classic and added to the trip. It was just a great experience. We are so happy we selected this tour as a part of our trip to Paris. Would highly recommend this to couples. It was very romantic being driven around Paris at night.

Great time with Roman - Paris at night!

Started off not so great with a call around 4 to tell us there was a gas shortage and that we couldn’t go at 7 as planned. But, we rescheduled for a bit later (9:30). Roman (driver) was prompt, accommodating, knowledgeable about paris history and was a great guy! We had a blast!!! If you’re going at night I recommend bringing a blanket as we got pretty cold, but all in all it was an amazing time!

Amazing tour of Paris by night

We had a great time visiting Paris at night in a 2CV, we were a group of 11, and 4 2CVs crossing the capital was fantastic. We were able to take advantage of the opening roof before the rain set in and discover the monument seen in a different light. Thanks to Quentin and his team for this discovery.
