The tickets were for 9:30 time slot. They were legitimate and we were able to tour the Lourve. No problem with the ticket.

The price of being famous - As overcrowded as it can be!

This is a required (almost) stop in Paris. The museum is beautiful and I can say the building is a museum itself. Here you will find thousands of work art with clear explanations written by every single piece. Also, there are pre-recorded versions available, given you want to scan a QR code and go around with your cellphone. The only drawback, and it is not entirely the fault of the place, is the huge amount of people inside every single room. The most famous painting, the Joconda, reminded me of a rock concert where you see the artist from a very cheap sit, tiny tiny. However, despite all of that I do recommend it for those art lovers and admirers of beatiful paintings, sculptures, and architecture.

Overcharged

The Louvre was beautiful, the ticket process was not great! Bought for 14:00, when I got tickets in my email it said 13:30 and we were forced to go back & forth to different lines b/c they said we were late. I wanted tickets for 14:00 and I was given 13:30. Also after the fact, found out we could’ve just bought tickets there for HALF the price. Viator over charged and it was not a smooth process.

A magnificent museum!

We LOVED the museum! It was way larger than we expected and we wish we would have budgeted longer to be there, but still a wonderful experience!

Fun day out

No issues here! Received the tickets in a separate email shortly after making this booking; make sure you check your junk mail. Leave yourself enough time when visiting the museum, easily spent 5-6 hours there and still didn't get to see everything.

Don’t book with them

DON’T BOOK WITH THEM !! They literally canceled my tickets when I was already at the louvre, and then didn’t answer when I called.

Buy Tickets Ahead!

My husband and I enjoyed our day at The Louvre very much! We saved time by buying our all-day pass ahead of time.

No wait.

I showed up right at 10:00. Apparently, people waited in line much longer than needed. We all entered the Louvre within one to two minutes of each other. Very efficient and the line for those without tickets was terribly long.

Very helpful and informative

Our guide was very knowledgeable and because the Louvre is so big it was very helpful to have someone to navigate the museum to see the highlights.

Mona Lisa - worth it

The Louve has some wonderful works of art, none better than the Mona Lisa. However, it is a free for all to get up to that painting. I believe a more uniform approach is needed.

Irresponsible customer service

Your customer service is very irresponsible!!! Very sad. I sent 2 questions after the purchase but no response. Once the tickets were sold, you got my cash and it is the end of the relationship and the customer is left on his/her own.

Cancel on me 20min before start time

When I booked, it said the ticket will email to me 1 day prior. Didn’t get it the night before so I contacted them via Viator app, the response was quick saying they will email me asap. On the day still no email, so I messaged them again, at 9am-ish they replied still say they will send to me asap, so I made my way to the Lourve. At 10am my booked time (10:30am) start to open to enter, still no email so I message them, and then they canceled on me at 10:08am. Honestly, if you tell me the day before, or at the morning when I first message, I would be able to waste less time. My schedule, my mood is completely ruined. This agency of course is bad, but Viator are you for real not checking your supplier that isn’t legit?

A good option to book if you want to see the Louvre and official tickets are already sold out. Received and used our tickets with no issue.

Good skip-the-line tickets to the Louvre! Pay attention to emails you receive the day prior to your visit; they will have links to your tickets so you don’t have to stand in line.

Best louvre museum experience

Wonderful museum to visit as a family & so accessible to everything. Children & young people under 25 have free entry which is fabulous if you only want to see the Mona Lisa & a few paintings. Also if you’re short for time go late in the evening to skip the queues.

Saw the major points of interest

Having limited time due to a later commitment, we were able to spend two hours and see Mona Lisa, the Napolean room, and many other works.while crowded and busy, it was very enjoyable.

Louvre experience

The Louvre. Massive, crowded, but iconic. Have fun strolling through DaVinci, Delacroix, and many, many masters. Don't be late though. The entry sentinels have no tolerance if you're late for your appointed entry time.

Louvre Ticket Frustration

I’ve never had a more frustrating experience with Trip Advisor. In the past their services have been perfect. We bought tickets for the Louvre with an email saying our tickets would be delivered the day prior to entry. The “voucher” we received said that we should go to the ticket office and get the official tickets using the voucher. We went to the ticket office to be told that they had nothing to do with trip advisor. So I clicked on the contact button and found my tickets. So… the tickets were available to me but the instructions for finding them were useless. Please please update your information so that others can actually locate their tickets in a timely manner as the confusion cost us about an hour and a half of museum time.

Busy and crowded

Unclear on how to get tickets, after queuing for 40 minutes we were turned away. Incredibly busy and crowded, staff were unhelpful

Ticket not accepted by Louvre Museum

The ticket sent was not a valid ticket. It had a bar code and not a QR code and we were not allowed entry. Diabolical, cheating service from Tripadvisor. I will be seeking a refund.

Not great

Over rated. The Metropolitan is much better, The Vatican, all museums in Florence....all better. The Lourve is difficult to navigate, even with a map. Either going up steps or down steps, bathrooms not clean and the art...well as stated above, better at other museums.

The louvre

Had to wait 5 hours before my visit for my tickets to be sent to me so not ideal. The lourve itself was great. The que took nearly 30 minutes to get into.

Ticket scalpers

Tour company is basically a ticket scalper on this one. They acquired the tickets early and resold for a ridiculous amount. Had to pay if I wanted to go, other wise sold out.

Not again with viator

Actually no reason to pay more money for Louvre entrance through third parties. No assistance at all.

Excellent, Professional and Kind

Tickets came the night before our check-in, the lines were clearly marked at the meet-up location, and the contact was professional and kind. I could not ask for more.

Entry ticket worked!

Tickets were sold out on The Louvre website so we booked these and managed to get into The Louvre just fine!

Disorganized time waster :(

Arrived about 10 mins early and there was a sea of people so it was hard to find the meeting spot. There were several different lines of people around the pyramid so we went from info person to info person to another (after finally having been told by one rep to talk to their colleague further down the line). By the time we actually spoke to someone who would give us the time of day, (probably 5-10 mins at most after the tour was supposed to start) we were told to head to a completely different line which was extremely long. Of course we were hopeful it would just go fast so we decided to wait it out. After about 20 minutes not even being close to the front, I reached out to the tour operator to request a cancellation as we needed to head to the airport. I understand there is a no refund policy but they would not honor the cancellation which was really disappointing. It was super disorganized- and I know we weren’t the only ones because others in line shared the same sentiments. With that said, we lost our $$ and I would not even bother unless you have a lot of patience. Got some good photos of the outside though.

Overhyped beautiful artworks

Overwhelming experience. Too much to look at and in spite of staggered tickets too crowded. Its a famous gallery and probably overhyped but i suppose it has to be experienced. Some amazing art but spoiled by crowded conditions. Wont go again

Terrible

We couldn’t open our tickets at the louvre at all. Total waste of our time and money the people at the louvre weren’t helpful either

BEWARE

Bought tickets for one time, was delivered tickets for another. When I asked about it, I was assured that the exact time on the ticket wouldn’t matter. IT MATTERS. With the line, a half hour difference in a ticket time turns into an hour wait very easily. When I told them I was turned away and that I needed the correct tickets, they read the message within a few minutes but never responded. I guess they thought it was close enough.

Easy and quick entry

It was so great skipping that incredibly long line. It wasn't difficult finding where to go. I just showed the ticket on my phone, it was all electronic. So worth it!

Hot,steamy and very crowded.

Booked allegedly priority access. Not. Queued for 30 mins to get to security. Once inside, very busy with milling crowds (mid-week in. October? !), hot and airless in some ‘rooms’ and had to manoeuvre round people more intent on taking photographs and not aware of other visitors. Difficult to find rooms as numbering not always clear, and directions to exhibit areas also not clear. Food area / cafe/ restaurant good - not crowded, relatively quiet, and salads good. Also difficult to get out of the place - had to leave via a shopping mall! Nearly 50 years since last visit and don’t think I’ll repeat the experience .

Good service, great experience. Expectations matter

I must say, given that they are some negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by this service. The tickets allow you to skip the queues and were delivered the next day via email and WhatsApp. Communication was good and I also got a call (Thank you Bianka). Generally a pleasant experience all round that I would use again. So why the negative reviews? I think that TripAdvisor / Viator / Barcafortourists should provide a bit more information about the logistics about receiving the tickets. For example it should be made clear that this is not an automated process and requires human intervention. As such if you book after normal working hours for tickets the next day (like we did) there will be a delay and it could take a few hours before the tickets are issued. I think on the initial communication from the operator, they should indicate an estimate time until the tickets are processed and issued. I think this would minimise the anxiety and the negative reviews. In terms of the Louvre itself, its obviously magnificient. Too much to truly absorb in a day. It is very big so it can be overwhelming especially for kids. Get the audio tour guide (does not come with these tickets) and ensure that you understand when the museum and exhibitions would be closing on the day. Enjoy!

Overwhelming experience

I went solo for my birthday in August, it was extremely overwhelming, there was no chance to enjoy the art on display, it was too crowded.

Where are the tickets?!

I purchased the tickets a few days prior to our visit. The day that we were set to visit the Louvre we still had not received our tickets from the 3rd party. The phone number that was listed did not work. There was also no phone number for Trip Advisor. I sent a message within the TA app and finally received the tickets an hour before we were set to attend the Louvre.

LOUVREN

At first we didn't plan to go to Louvren, thought it was to exepensive. But even if its a museum, its a positive experience for us who not are very found of museums. We didnt get a guide. Put your most comfortable shoes on. If its august and sunny, bring your umbrella as a shield for the hot sun when your waiting in the line. Its a very big museum, but Mona Lisa is what we most wanted to see and we did. Near outside there is a pretty good shopping street when you get tired of the items in Louvren.

The tour operator was responsive and promptly gave the tickets on the day of the tour. I was expecting the day before so that I didn’t have to call them up for my tickets. But nonetheless responsive.

Tickets were sent in the trip advisor account, not to the email. Skipped the line and direct access to the gate.

It rescues us

It was a rescue plan for us We didn’t book until we reach Paris so direct from the louver website it was impossible but this one was a rescue for us

Avoid this tour

Avoid this at all costs. The tour operator did not show up or email tickets and we were left empty handed and had to then buy tickets on the day, there has been no correspondence from tour operator and trying to chase refund with tripadvisor and not anytime forthcoming. Please be aware who buying from as this one seems to be a con.

Difficulty booking

The museum was fantastic, however the booking process was a problem. I booked online and discovered the date selection was not what I had indicated. I wrote to the vendor using the chat assistant. I identified the problem and was told to rebook. I did but I was charged for the tickets again even though it was a reschedule not cancellation. Several attempts to contact vendor not successful. I believe a reschedule is not a cancellation so I shouldn’t have incurred double charges.

I never get the ticket!!!!!

I bought the tickets a week before my trip, they wrote me a message in my email that I would get the tickets 24 hours before my visit and I NEVER received them. I arrived at the museum with the order number, since it was the only thing I had in hand but at the entrance they told me that it does not work like that they wanted to see the ticket with THE CODE. which i never got!!!!!! REALLY SAD!!!!

FAMILY TIME

The views were amazing. MONA LISA has a long wait line. I enjoyed the entire views. Amazing the amount history seen there

Poor

Wasn’t aware when booking that my 17 year old would be free, so had a ticket I didn’t need!!! Very over priced!! Won’t be booking any further trips through trip advisor
