Our guide was great! She made it interesting and her English was easy to understand. We've had other tours where the guides' English was a bit difficult to understand but not in this case!

Sainte Chapelle Tour

This small chapel is definitely worth the visit. Our guide, Cynthia, was knowledgeable about the history of Sainte Chapelle. It is not very big so the tour is not too long. It has a rich history and is adjacent to Notre Dame.

Efficient use of time and excellent guide!

Cynthia was a knowledgeable and organized guide. We really enjoyed listening to her explain history of the chapel and the stained glass meanings.

Quite worth it!

Queuing for security check still took a while even though it 's skip the line !! But queuing for using bathrooms IN SUCH A SAD STATE was truly disappointing!

Cinthia was a fabulous guide to a stunning cathedral

St. Chapelle is a stunning masterpiece, but it was even better to have a knowledgeable guide to tell us stories of the church and point out numerous details I had missed before. Cinthia was incredible! As an added bonus we were the first in the door and were able to enter before the queue.

Would not recommend

I booked this last minute because my daughter really wanted to see it. The guide never introduced herself at the start of the tour. She gave us rushed history and then just abruptly left us. It was expensive and the only real benefit was skipping the ticket line.

Magnificent stained glass that make Saint Chapelle a must-see in Paris

Nice tour of the chapel & its history. Our tour guide was on time, helpful & very knowledgeable about the city of Paris and the history of France & the significance of the church and its gorgeous stained glass windows.

Guides make a difference

Fantastic verbal History by our guide. She was very educated in the history of Sainte Chappell and it made a difference in our wonderment of the church and stained glass.

Efficient access with small group tour!

The ability to skip the main line and use the group entrance made the visit far more enjoyable. Excellent tour guide. Beautiful place! Highly recommended!

Well worth spending a bit extra for this great tour!

Superb tour can highly recommend. I treated my sister who had seen Sainte Chapelle on a documentary and was keen to see the amazing windows. We arrived in good time and waited by the main entrance to the side of the main queue. Our guide arrived and though we did not see a white card she did have a yellow bag and wore a lanyard. We checked in with her and received our earpieces. Once we had all got together we were guided through the security check, similar to an airport and met up the other side. Our guides knowledge was amazing and she was so enthusiastic. We both agree that to have the background information through tour was well worth the extra money. Just be aware there are a few steps that have to be climbed as part of the tour, otherwise the main room is not that big and it was easy to take in everything.

Add this one hour tour to your Paris itinerary. The windows are some of the prettiest you'll ever see!

With Notre Dame still being closed for repairs, Sainte Chapelle has increased in popularity for touring, but it should be visited even when Notre Dame is re-open. The windows! Wow! We scheduled a tour at opening on a Sunday morning. We were lucky that no one else booked that day/time, so we had a private tour! Our guide, Cinthia, was very knowledgable and conversational. She pointed out several details in the windows that we would have surely missed. Be sure to watch the video about the complete restoration of the windows. You can see the entire downstairs and upstairs in an hour, so it's a great tour to add to your itinerary. Definitely do this guided tour vs a self-tour, as there is a ton of history and symbolism that will be missed without having a knowledgable guide. One thing to note. Because the Paris Law Courts are within the same site as Sainte Chapelle, security is very high, making entering a bit longer than most other tours.

Cynthia was absolutely incredible! Her storytelling skills were out of this world, and she truly brought the tour to life. We had such a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it!

Place was beautiful. Would go without guide next time.

Way too much information in a small time. Spent too much time showing us the app versus the views in front of us.

Do not waste your money.

Never found the guide. Very disorganized . The inside people were no help. I just went alone and wasted a huge amount of money. No one could help . The guide wasn’t outside 10 minutes before. I found I paid $67 and others w me paid $11! I felt scammed.

La Sainte Chapelle

Seeing La Sainte Chapelle was one of the highlights of our time in Europe. We were the only ones on our tour, but our guide, Cinthia, treated us to her full narrative of the history of the chapel and of France during that period. She showed me the app that she used to explain the significance of the stained glass panels, and I've since downloaded it. She made the tour so much more interesting than if we had just bought tickets and gone in on our own!

Lovely tour

Our guide was very knowledgeable. The only thing that would have made our trip better was that she was on time. She showed up at the last possible minute. We were in the cue ready to go in without her.

Horrible communication, very poor skills and connecting with guests. I suggest you do not take the risk. Even the ticket office suggested folks have been scammed on this one several times and we were too’

Our tour guide was wonderful. She stayed in the line for us and was there to hold the line as I was a couple minutes behind her. She spent a great hour explaining the church to us. It was a great experience and appreciated her meeting us on a Sunday.

Beautiful church!

This included a guided tour for just under an hour. We weren’t clear on that from the title but it was great! Tons of info and a beautiful church with a very interesting background. Tour guide was knowledgeable and very efficient.

Amazing Tour; Breathtaking Views

This was one of the highlights of our Paris trip in which we’ve experienced the top attractions: went to the summit of the Eiffel Tower; visited the Louvre; toured Versailles; saw Note Dame and had an evening dinner cruise on the Louvre. The visit would babe been incomplete if we hadn’t visited Sainte Chapelle and seen those stunning stained glass windows. That visit wouldn’t have been the same without out tour guide, Cinthia, whose expert guidance put into historical context the amazing visuals inside the Sainte Chapelle. Cinthia shared with us the story tying Chapelle into the overall history of France and she pointed out the individual panels we all would easily recognize from the Old Testament. That type of context and individual direction only can come from an experienced tour guide like Cinthia. My wife and I were both throughly pleased by the experience of this tour. Highly recommended.

Left Standing at the Chapel

Very disappointed. We arrived at 8:30 AM for a 9:00 tour. After passing through security we entered Saint-Chapelle. There was no guide, no sign, and personnel in the chapel knew nothing about a tour. I received a telephone call at 9:25 informing me the tour would start at 9:30 - I should meet out front. There was NO tour guide out front and I remained in the chapel for another hour and never saw a tour guide. I would not use this booking.

Cinthia and fabulous st Chapelle tour

We absolutely enjoyed our tour of the St Chapelle with Cinthia. She was efficient at getting us in quickly and was so informative in her tour. She kept my entire family engaged from age 3–44 yr! Highly recommend.

Wonderful tour

Our experience with our guide was wonderful. She was thorough and informative. We got so much more out of it than we would have had we gone ourselves. So much history and facts that are not common knowledge.

Very Informative Tour

I was very happy with this tour. This is the most beautiful Chapel I have ever seen. The guide was very knowledgeable. I learned about the architecture and meaning of the stained glass murals. The small group nature of the tour made it easy to ask questions. The exterior of the building is currently undergoing restoration. Once this work is complete the exterior of the building will be just as exceptional as the interior.

Wonderful tour of Sainte Chapelle

I was looking for a quick tour to do in the morning before we had to leave for the airport at noon. I saw this tour and signed up. As we approached the building we realized that we had visited the last time we were in Paris. But touring it with Cinthia was a completely different experience. Sainte Chapelle really comes alive when Cinthia tells you about it. We definitely won't forget it this time!

Beautiful

Cinthia was excellent. Gave a lot of historical religious information. The inside of Sainte Chapelle was breathtaking when you came up the stairs.

I highly recommend it. The tour guide was beyond my expectations. She gave us historical insights, explanations and anecdotes. She taught us about the characteristic of gothic architectural styles and read some of the stained glass windows located on the upper chapel. She had visual references in order to make us understand in a better way. You will not regret booking this tour.

the pits

this was the worst viator experience we've ever had! The tour guide apparently e-mailed us exactly 2 minutes before the meeting time to ask us to call her on our arrival at meeting point. We were, of course, already there and do not activate our cell phone every day as it costs $10 each day we do. We waited an hour and guide was a no-show. Could not see the church on our own as we did not have advanced tickets. Very frustrating. Would love to reschedule for the 13th, but have no printer here in Paris to print vouchers.

Small Group tour of the Saint Chapel

Even though is a small chapel, don't hesitate to book this tour. There are so many things to learn about Gothic architecture and its birth, the making of the stained glass windows, the history of King Louis IX who became a saint and who made possible its construction and many other interestings facts about the middle ages and historical ones related to Napoleon I and world war II. We enjoyed a fabulous tour with Cinthia.
