The Wadi Shab is a huge canyon gorge that has its own paradise. Filled with palm trees and other greenery, the mountain truly has character. We leave Muscat in the morning and make our way to the wadi. We make a short stop at the Bamah sinkhole where most like to take photos or swim in the lake. We make our way through Fins Beach, a long white-sand beach photo stop, and then arrive at Wadi Shab.

Our first stop in the morning is the Sultan´s Quaboos Grand Mosque. However, you should visit if you enjoy taking a dip in freshwater pools, which are in abundance here, and want to experience the serenity of walking through a wadi that feels very untouched. You almost get an eerie feeling wading through the wadi, especially further in. You can spend time there to relax and swim Then after continue drive to sinkhole (swimming in the sinkhole lake if possible) and the long white Beach of Fins, we arrive in Wadi Shab Photo Stop in the beginning of the Wadi, and you can have had lunch there at local Omani Restaurant and then continue to Wadi Tiwi Photo Stop then drive back to Muscat.

The Musandam region, separated from the rest of Oman by the United Arab Emirates, is the northern most part of the Sultanate. The dramatic Musandam peninsula is perhaps one of the most scenically spectacular area in the Gulf. These spectacular fjords have given the area a second name "The Norway of Arabia”. The peninsula is mainly inhabited by the Shihuh, who are fishermen and herdsmen and are probably descended from the original inhabitants of northern Oman. You almost get an eerie feeling wading through the wadi, especially further in.
