Penida with the locals

A great day out , made special by two great drivers , Arik from our hotel in Kuta to Sanur Harbour .He was informative from the moment he collected us from hotel. As a Penida local he gave us a great insight in what we could expect to see. He made the Ferry booking in process so easy so all we had to do was walk and get on the ferry. On our return from Penida he was waiting by the terminal exit to speed us on our way to our hotel

Tour company is a cheat, Viator should investigate

Have been cheated badly in this tour. Similar tour is available at half the price per pax, I paid USD265 for 3 pax whereas similar tour by other companies have a cost of less than USD150! They use the same speed boat which is used by other tour companies at half the price. Have bought this to the notice of Viator as well, but nothing has happened. To add to the disappointment, the guide cum driver was least interested in showing us the points and clicking pics. The spots are good for photographs but not worth spending one whole day as you would need to travel far and climb stairs to reach them. Better hire a taxi from the Nusa Penida harbour and see the spots at your own pace.

Absolutely beautiful!!!

This was a lovely experience, the views are spectacular and if you arrive early enough you can avoid all the long queues to take uninterrupted pics. It’s almost a 2hr drive from Ubud but it was totally worth waking up early to enjoy this beautiful scenery. My friend and I really enjoyed this experience. Next time we will try our best to finish walking down to the beach below for a swim (it’s quite a steep climb up and down to the bottom)

Loved our guide Utu! Personable, great English and a FANTASTIC driver. Thank you Utu. The snorkeling was awesome. 2 hours in 4 different locations- one location had a strong current so we moved on but the other 3 were perfect. Coral, fish and turtles!! Lunch was so tasty and multiple options available. Thanks for a great day.

Do you needa go to Penida? Depends what you are looking for…

The tour guide/driver(s) were excellent, on time and took so many photos for us in good spots. We were picked up at 6:30am from our hotel in Sanur and then caught the speedboat from the Habour a little after 7am. The crossing there was smooth but coming back was very rough. The crossing took about 45mins. The speedboat seats around 104 people inside and every space is likely to be taken. Sit at the back of the boat if you’re prone to getting sea sick. It was a very busy tour, dozens of people and cars at each stop. There were too many instagrammers for my liking, queuing up to take the perfect picture and too long! Some were dressed up in extremely elaborate dresses! There were a few people with drones too unfortunately. The snorkelling was great, saw lots of colourful fish. We didn’t do the Manta Ray stop as the conditions were too rough. The overall experience was ok but I wouldn’t travel from Ubud to do it unless you’re an Instagrammer. If you are going to do it I would recommend this tour company though. Good luck with the queuing!!

Exotic island and nice people

Great place to visit. You have many places that fits for Instagram photos 😉 and also for relax. Cristal Bay is a gorgeous spot you don't have to miss and travelling with Krishna (our guid today) is very pleasant. He's a very careful guy (gives you any informations you need to know) who offers you a familiar atmosphere, nice talk (very good english speacker) and great music. I wish I knew him earlier!

Great Tour at Nusa Penida

Great experience seeing Nusa Penida, manage to visit the most popular sights and still have time for the beach at the end. Make sure you take cash as we were a bit stuck buying things on the island!

Good day out

Good day out, both drivers were very nice. Amazing scenery. Roads very rough but driver was careful and the car air-conditioned which was a relief from the heat. Quite a few stairs but if you are not able to manage them like me the views were still fantastic. If you can do the stairs then you will see even more like the rest of our party. Lots of photo opportunities, prices on the island a bit expensive ($5 for an icepole and $20 for a beach chair) but if compared to other destinations not. Meal was simple but nice. Ferry was full and quite hot but it was the fast one, least enjoyable part of the day. Thanks for a good day.

Great tour. Awesome views. Friendly tour guides. Depending on your needs you could discuss with the guide what you wanna do first, last or skip something.

Breath taking views

Beautiful Beautiful nature. Breath taking views from n high cliffs. Very friendly tour guide which was a very good driver. Only negative, too many tourist on Island. Limited to no safety at high cliffs. Roads more than terrible on Island.

All Inclusive Tour of Nusa Penida

Well organised trip to 4 of the most scenic coastal spots there are. Our driver was careful and despite the narrow winding roads which are in at best poor condition, we always felt safe. Only let down was the lunch, which was from a set menu and fhe two choices we made were variations on 2 minute packet noodles

Great Nusa Penida island tour

We really enjoyed the tour. Our hotel pick up driver Aris and tour guide Sukawidana were both friendly and reliable. Despite booking a group tour, it was actually just us to. They helped every step of the way, including sorting ferry tickets. Only downside was there was a lot of time spent in the car due to traffic and getting from one beach spot to another on Nusa Penida, and that some of the tour spots were quite busy! But that is no fault of the tour itself and the nature of the island. It was a great overview tour of Nusa Penida and recommended if you have a day to get and idea of what Nusa Penida is like. We were never rushed at any spot and could not recommend the people at Bali Natural Tours enough!

Well organized awesome day

The Viator chat worked great for communicating and confirming our plans. The guides even shared their number by text or what’s app. We were picked up a little late but there was plenty of time to catch the boat. Be prepared for crowds during the boat crossing but it was very well organized. Our driver sent our picture to our tour guide on the island to identify us and that worked extremely well. All the sites were beautiful and Katut was the best guide. We wanted to catch the return boat earlier than planned and was very easy to do. Thank you Katut for a great day!

A trip to remember forever ❤️

Our trip to Nusa Penida was one of the biggest highlights of this trip. My best friend and I travelled to Bali for a holiday and spend our second last day here with this trip. I want to give a special mention to our driver, Gusti Adi Pratama , who was the one of the sweetest guys we met on this trip. He was soo cheerful and happy , and even ran around to help us when we lost our ATM card and recovered it for us . He was very professional, picked us up right on time , ensured he sent a picture of us to our guide in Nusa Penida to recognise us easily and was even waiting right in front for us when we got back from the trip and dropped us back safely. Thank you Gusti, you were amazing . On reaching Nusa Penida , our guide was Putu Leo Anggara Julian , who was again one of the most charming and friendly guides we have had this trip. He was our personal tour guide , took us to all the places we wanted to see , took amazing photographs of us and since we had a bit of extra time , even stopped at an extra spot just to take good pictures of us even without asking . Throughout the bumpy roads of Nusa Penida , he played good songs and entertained us and ensured our safety at all times . Thank you Leo , you too were simply amazing . Since this is a one day trip , and Nusa Penida is a touristy place , expect to see a lot of people everywhere , lots of couples , and only bumpy roads throughout . I would say one day does not do justice to this breathtaking island , as one day trips are hectic and some may find it’s not enough . I would suggest you carry your sunscreen , proper hats and footwear and travel very light. Overall we had an amazing time . Thank you Bali Natural Tours for our beautiful memories .

Best scenic views and dramatic sightseeing spots in Nusa Penida

We had an amazing day in Nusa Penida island. From start to finish, our guides Adi and Gede were accompanied us and did an amazing job. Both of them were super friendly and go above and beyond guiding us throughout the day trip. The island has lot of beautiful beaches and picturesque views of the ocean. Crystal bay is the perfect spot for swimming. Please be hydrated and bring lot of water bottles. There’re plenty of shops to buy fresh coconut along the way. Overall a great experience.

Nusa Penida tour

We really had a great time and experience. Sandi was super friendly, very helpful and showed the highlights of Nusa Penida. Adi was also great with us. Highly recommend!!

3 stars overall

The tour was predetermined and the same for all tourists. The destinations were full of people taking social media photos. The roads were really narrow and in bad condition. The food was ok after a few destinations. Our drivers on the island and in Bali were top notch.

4 days with Kadek

Nusa Panida was absolutely beautiful! Kadek was fantastic, collected us from our villa and was patient with us all day. A 5 stop snorkelling day in which I opted out of but my friends thoroughly enjoyed. Kadek went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after, making sure we were all together (he even held my friends handbag so she could get a little closer down the rocks to get a good pic). This was only 1 day of many. Kadek took care of us and catered to our last minute plans to go ATV, go to the monkey forest, a day at the water sports. I highly recommend anyone wanting a well rounded experience in Bali to have Kadek as their guide. Look forward to my next visit to see even more of Bali and catch up with Kadek again!

Amazing day in Nusa Penida!

We had the most wonderful day with Putu exploring Nusa Penida! Putu took some amazing pictures and videos of us that we’ll treasure forever and was a great driver, which is crucial on the island. He was kind and helpful and answered all our questions about the island. Definitely recommend booking this tour for an incredible day in Nusa Penida!

Nusa

Our trip to nusa was amazing seeing the sight and scuba diving in the crystal clear waters. Our guide Adi was there right on time leaving and coming home he met us with a smile and was nothing but friendly. 100% would recommend this tour

Broken Road

The worst road condition getting to Broken Beach we have ever experienced, it was so rough my wife almost threw up twice. Crystal Bay got so much trash should have called Sewage Bay and others bad experience on this trip I didn’t want to mention

Lovely day trip to Nusa Penida

Very well organized all inclusive tour. Drivers for pick ups and drop offs were on time. The 4 sites visited are amazing. There may be lots of tourists at the 4 sites, but just be patient as they move on after a while. Our guide could then take photos of us without others in the way.

Nusa Penida excursion

Bump ride and lots of steps to climb! We loved it! We saw the most amazing braces and loved every moment. Our Guide was great. Excellent lunch!

Great day trip

The drivers Adi and Putu were very friendly and helpful. This is a great way to see the popular sights in 1 day especially if you’re short on time. The lunch could be improved as not that enjoyable. Overall the experience was excellent.

Fun day

Great day! Our driver Kadek took us to the pier where we got abord and left for the island. Upon arriving we were met right away with our next driver. Everything went really smooth, the roads are very rough on the island but driver did a good job navigating. We originally bought the package without snorkeling, but decided that we would join snorkelling after attending. Honestly, we wish we didnt snorkel as it was crowded and the rest of the tour was much more peaceful. The alternative if you are nowt snorkelling is relaxing on the beach. Thank you though to Kadek and other driver for a great day!

Day trip with lunch

The day trip was amazing from the start when Wayan picked us up from our hotel in Jimbaran. He made everything so easy and smooth for us which made me very happy, he was a very friendly man and great driver. When we arrived by boat to Nusa Penida we were greeted from or other driver Katek he was awesome and so friendly as well he took so many excellent pictures of us and had m as my stories to tell. We are so grateful for both tour guides. They are ghe main reason our trip was so wonderful. Definitely recommended for anyone . Be sure to ask for Wayan and Katek two wonderful individuals.

1 day Nusa Penida Day trip from Ubud

Had an amazing 1 day private tour to Nusa Penida. Adi picked us up on time from Ubud hotel n dropped us to Sanur Harbour and gave us our boat tickets too. Once we reached Nusa Penida, the guide was waiting, he took us around and showed Angels beach, Broken Beach, Kelinking Beach, Crystal beach. Water n a good lunch was included. Roads were bumpy but driver was good. Car was AC was good too else difficult to survive the hot weather in Nusa Penida. Finally he dropped us at Nusa Penida harbours from where we took our boat to Sanur. Adi was waiting there and easily found us. Took us back and in the way shared nice stories of Bali. He helped with other Bali information we asked for. He is a well behaved person.

Driver experience

Our driver was super helpful with our pickup locations and even made an extra stop for us on the way home. He was also very knowledgeable about the areas we were driving through.

Amazon trip to Nusa Penida

5 star amazing tour

Such an amazing trip, driver picked us up from our villa, was on time, all very well organised and easy to know where we were going to and from. Amazing time on the island got to snorkel then private driver took us to view points and the beach, included Indonesian lunch which was so yummy then picked up from the boat dropped back to our hotel

A wonderful day in Penida!

This was a phenomenal experience from beginning to end. The staff were communicative. They were prompt. The friendliest team I have worked with in all my overseas travel. The fast boat was a little choppy but it was fine! The snorkeling was great! The tour guide, Ari, was a great guy! He was talkative and friendly, he answered all our questions and safely got us to all the destinations! It was also mine and my girlfriend’s birthday and anniversary and they surprised us with a brownie cake which was the sweetest thing ever! I highly recommend this trip if you have a day to burn while in Bali!

Best Tour guides in Bali

After we booked our experience , we were super excited to come to Bali. We stayed in touch via both email and phone text. The driver was on time to pick us up from our hotel and offered complimentary drinks upon arrival. The drive from hotel was great, they checked us in a The Marina to get our tickets and when we arrived at Nasu Penida the rest was history. The driver on the Island was super nice and communicative. The places we visited were and amazing and the lunch was great. Would 100% recommend anyone to book your experience with these guys.

Great experience!

We had a great time exploring the different sights of nusa penida! Aris picked us up from our hotel in a timely manner and was able to get us on the ferry quickly despite the holiday traffic. Indra was an amazing driver on the island, which is a much because the streets are insanely narrow. He was so patient waiting in line for us to take photos while we walked around and finding us bathrooms when we needed it. Great experience!

Great experience despite the hot weather!

We had a wonderful trip with both our drivers Aris and our tour guide Putu. They were both very friendly! Aris picked us up from our hotel and brought us to the port. It was very nice just chatting with him about the area. We met Putu at nusa penida and we had a blast with him. He made the hot weather bearable by making us laugh and singing with us in the car. He also took very good pictures and was very accommodating with are needs! He even climbed a tree to take a great photo of us! It was great time! Putu even waited with us until our boat came! We would definitely recommend them both!!

Disappointed by viator

We booked trip for 16 people with friends and families. It was very average experience we got. I want to mention that the operators assigned by Viator was natural tours and persons leading that trip at nusa panida was very immature and doesn’t have any respect for families ,they were talking in very bad language and much disrespectful ways…The food quality was too bad…more over they have not completed the tour as mentioned spots….so I don’t recommend Viator for booking miss panida day tour.

Trip to Nusa Pedia

Nusa Pedia tour operated by Bali Tours is exceptional. Well organized and everything as per promise. Instead of following the typical tourist routes, our tour guide/driver took us off the beaten path to explore lesser-known treasures. Special mention to Aris for the main land ride and coordination. Also Aldi for being a good guide and driver at Nusa Pedia. The highlight of the trip was the jump at XparkBali.

Amazing views and a great tour guide!

We had a wonderful trip with Putu! He did a great job keeping us hydrated, taking us around to the must-see spots on the island, and taking photos for us. The views were amazing!

This trip was wonderful! Our driver Adi was awesome and so helpful for us. He got us around safe and even stopped at a market so we could pick up some items. I would highly recommend Adidas for your driver.

Amazing views - Lunch needs improvement

The drivers in Canggu & Nusa were amazing. So helpful and kept us entertained -Also took amazing pictures of the views. However, the owners of the tour need to improve the lunch. Lunch includes one dish and a drink. The menu is limited with not a lot of options - we had to order another dish and pay extra. For the cost of the tour - the lunch should be a lot better.

Worth going, better to stay overnight...or combine with a island hoppy tour. Amazed by driving skill of driver.

Great driver kadek and beautiful tour

Absolutely amazing experience. The snorkeling we went to four different beautiful spots. Our driver kadek was great and picked us up from our villa to the harbour and was there waiting for us perfect timing when we got off the boat to take us back to the villa. The driver on nusa was very good as well. The tour includes a traditional local lunch which was delicious and tour of the views. Highly recommend!
