A day trip to remember!

Thanks Joel for a fantastic day! Your communication before the tour was spot on and the trip was spectacular. Highlights included the waterfalls, Monteville and the breathtaking old growth forest. As three Western Australian couples we got to see landscapes that we just don't have back west. Highly recommended day trip.

Expert guide for private tour

The tour was packed with experiences, yet was relaxed. Joel was able to tailor the tour to our familiy’s interests in nature and history. We enjoyed scenic views, good food, and wildlife sightings including a platypus! Joel was prompt, knowledgeable, and funny. Would definitely use again!

We made a last minute booking with Joel's Journeys for Hinterland tour and chocolate and wine tasting. This was an amazing tour, beautiful countryside, amazing views of waterfall, mountains and walk through the forest. Joel made our trip a memorable one, with his pleasant personality, knowledge of nature and patience. Would love to book other tours with him if I am back in Noosa in future

This trip was absolutely amazing, the places we visited were all very different, Monville was lovely, the chocolate factory, winery, walk in for the forest very special. Great Montville & surrounding tour with Joel’s Journeys

Joel was a very knowledgeable guide and did everything possible to give his clients a great experience. The tour covered a round trip of about 160 km into the hinterland behind Noosa and other coastal holiday towns. Some of the highlights were an hour exploring the delightful Montville, a 45 minute walk in a fabulous peaceful & beautiful remnant old growth forest, beautiful views from the best lookout spots, a lovely lunch, a top rate chocolate tasting stop and a wine tasting. Everything was top class, nothing was too much effort for Joel and I thoroughly recommend this tour.

Most authentic tours around Noosa!

Joel is friendly, thoughtful and happy to share his insightful knowledge of the Qld region. The Maleny and Montville tour included many highlights (stunning private views of the glasshouse mountains, rainforest walks, amazing Aust chocolate tastings and fabulous boutique wine- all included in the tour). The boutique van is super luxurious and feels like a breeze to drive in- Joel’s complimentary local coffee was a winner to start off a fun day too! An absolute gem of a tour- highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and authentic experience run by a true blue local.

Fantastic day out!

Thanks Joel! We had a fantastic day. Lots to see & great commentary too. Joel is very knowledgeable about this beautiful area. He has so much information to share about the history of the area and environment. Transport was very comfortable (with great air conditioning) and lovely coffee. We especially enjoyed the rainforest walk but Montville, the chocolate factory & wine tasting were all excellent. We can highly recommend this tour!

JOYFUL JOEL'S JOURNEY!

My friends and I booked a Montville-Maleny Tour with Joel during our Sunshine Coast summer getaway and we had a BLAST. Joel was super friendly and accomodating. I felt that he catered his commentary to match how we were feeling, had great recommendations for what to do and exceeded our expectations in making a couple of extra stops along the way. The best part was that he truly knew the most beautiful and unique locations to take us to and it didn’t feel “touristy” or rushed in any way. It was quite a relaxing yet fun-filled tour. Fabulous experience!

Absolutely loved the adventure packed day that my friends and I had! We visited some great places in the Sunshine Coast and covered a variety of activities from wine tastings to rainforest walks during the day. Joel is a very knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide who kept us entertained throughout and was able to cater the tour to our personal taste after getting to know us. Great experience and great company

Whilst trying to find a last minute activity for a short Sunshine Coast trip, we stumbled upon Joel’s Journey’s and took on their Montville Maleny tour. It definitely exceeded our expectations as we covered a lot of destinations and learnt about many interesting facts through Joel’s expertise. The tour was well planned and organised and Joel even took the extra step to show us a couple of spots outside our itinerary which was greatly appreciated.
