Carmela was an amazing Guide and really made Nice come alive with her enthusiasm. Her personal touches and small detours (such as to see Halloween decorations) were not something I would find in any online experiences and sets her apart from other "local" Guides - she spends her personal time in the area of the tour.

Old town Nice is amazing to see. There were only 4 people in our group. Laura was a great guide, very knowledgeable. Easy walk.

Lovely Tour!

I actually didn't do this tour, it got cancelled but I was offered another one (the e-bike tour) and it was really good! The tour guide was really engaging and I had a great time.

A quick informative intro to Old Nice

Samuel was most knowledgeable about Old Nice and provided information that I have found most useful in locating the places where my Nicoise ancestors lived and worked. We also checked out his gelato recommendation. The most delicious we’ve ever tasted!

Old Town walk

Samuel was a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide to the old town who made it an enjoyable walk through the Old Town of Nice.

Horrible Experience

We had the tour at 3:30pm and the tour guide never showed till 3:50. We called the telephone no. on the voucher but no one picked up. We were a group of 6 including 3 small children and were waiting in the extreme hot weather for 20 mins past the tour starting time. Needless to say, we left. I have emailed Viator for a refund but they have not responded since 2 days. No one has the courtesy to call or email back.

The tour could've been better, made to feel stupid

I went on this tour after booking it through Viator, I was to meet up with the guide, a French local, at a specific point. I misread the instructions and went to Castle Hill, I accept that as my fault. The guide was already at the meeting point, we communicated earlier through Whatsapp. But what he did next really made me feel so stupid, I was silently angry for the rest of the tour: He asked to look at my phone, to read the directions, then he pointed out the landmarks that was the instruction on the voucher and asked if I had trouble finding it to begin with while other tourists already got there before the departure time. It felt like a teacher trying to make a student learn a lesson. Then we did the walking tour throughout, he was very knowledgeable but I was still angry with earlier. Then during the talks, one of the huge umbrellas fell on me from a restaurant. And we walked around more, sat down and had a snack. The guide sat down next to us and ate some French delicacies, I know it is not illegal, but he would have a couple of cigarette smokes while I was sitting on the table, and it went to my face sometimes. I don't smoke at all, and felt put off by it. The walking tour finished and I declined to go with the guide and the rest of the group because I truly did not enjoy the experience. I am normally an easy going guy, but really hated being made to feel stupid, the guide probably didn't feel he did anything wrong, but it's how I felt. If the business or company is reading this, I hope you can take some constructive criticism from this.

The tour of the Old Town Nice was excellent with the tour guide who is so knowledgeable of the area. Excellent customer service!

Two hour walking tour in Nice, France

Maya was a very knowledgeable tour guide who gave our group a very informative overview of many of the historical sites in the old city of Nice. She answered all of our questions with clarity. A great tour!

Our guide seemed to know quite a bit of the history of nice and was quite friendly and polite. Unfortunately our tour was done on a day when our tour guide (can’t Remember his name) was apparently feeling ill, he didn’t come across as very engaging. (His lack of enthusiasm may have just been because he was in fact a bit bored!) It was only my husband and I on this particular tour, which got a little bit awkward as we struggled with conversation, and there were some awkward silences between us and the guide! The tour guide took us all round the old town, and did have some interesting things to tell us and at the end of the tour he bought us some local speciality food to try (just some chickpea chip things) which was quite nice of him, but again.. a bit awkward knowing what to say! He was also spending a fair bit of time on his phone to his landlord rather than focusing on the tour which was a tad annoying. It would probably have been better if more people had joined and would have been nice if he had been a bit more enthusiastic and energetic.

A waste of time!

Friends of mine and I went on the half-day Of Nice Old Town. Samuel, our guide, put us with a Brazilian couple. We had no problem with that except that one the Brazilians did understand neither French nor English. As a result, our guide translated, word by word, from French to Portuguese, all the historic intents of the tour. What a boring and a waste of time...! Any tour guide should make sure that every participant understands the language as communication. The tour was certainly not worth the Euros 15/pp we paid. <p>Guide was good and very knowledgable. Problem was we waited 30 min for 2 people who were late and the "Small" group turned out to be 12 people, which is not small when stopping in small alleys. We were always in someone's way. Disappointing. Should have just done self guided online walking tour.</p>

Visite guidée incontournable!

La visite guidée du Vieux Nice c’est un incontournable à faire si on séjourne, ou même si on est juste de passage pour quelques heures, à Nice ! La visite était tellement passionnante que je n’ai pas vu le temps passer. La guide, Aurélia, nous a expliqué l’histoire, les anecdotes et les détails que jamais on n’aurait pu ni lire ni apprendre autrement. Elle a été souriante, disponible et toujours prête à satisfaire notre curiosité. Je conseille vivement Nice Creative Tours ! A la prochaine! Francesca

Tomamos un pequeño tren que nos llevó a conocer el Casco Antiguo de Niza y la pasamos increíble, incluso fui con mis nietos y mi mamá y los niños escuchando las historias se mantuvieron muy entretenidos. También cuando llegas al área más alta puedes tomar unas fotos increíbles. Además de ser muy económico el paseo en tren.
