Great Tour

Excellent tour for friends, couples, families, and solo travellers. Marie was so knowledgeable and kind. We took a short drive to the first vineyard which was a small, family owned place. The second one was a bit larger but just as beautiful. It was very close to Nice and didn’t take long to get there. We got to see the vineyards and fermentation rooms at the first one, with sampling of different breads. Great experience and excellent wines. We loved it.

our guide Michael is an absolute charm! hilarious, witty and knowledgeable. thoroughly appreciated having his sommelier experience as well. it was a comfortable half day trip and we had so much fun, we wished we did the full day trip instead! sampled a total of six wines from two vineyards (one red, one rose and one white from each) - the first was a cosy, family-run place which we adored; the second was more commercially operated and this was when the company of other tourists and Michael rly helped make the experience enjoyable. did not feel hurried at all on the tour. was a relaxing boozy afternoon.

Loved it, small winery and larger one. Good, unique wines. Only bad point is the 100 character minimum to submit a review on Tripadvisor.

Nice Vineyard Tour

Excellent trip. Driver was great and the first vineyard Le Source was great. Very relaxed and the wine was excellent. Chateau de Cremat, was stunning. Only minor complaint is that chateau de cremat tour feels rushed. Definitely would go either again

Amazing experience!

Amazing experience!! The Domaine de la Source vineyard was great, amazing family owned business. The Château Cremat vineyard had interesting history, especially how it is connected to Coco Chanel. Out tour guide was great, he told us a lot about the wine making process, a lot of local history and more amazing stuff. Would definetly recommend the experience!

Easy and enjoyable wine tour

A great half day trip! A fun experience visiting a small family run winery and one larger winery. All the wines were delicious, and it was very cool to hear about all the history of the vineyards and the wine making process. Bonus: Koko is the best guide and driver!

Great tour, High price for what you get.

Lovely tour great to see a small family run winery and a larger one. However felt the portions of wine given were very small it was hard to taste (2nd place) They didn't feel welcoming and had another group join our tour mid way around who did not stop talking so we couldn't hear the guide. Food - is just a few small bites of bread not very much at all. i'd advise eating before hand. We were lucky and had a great group of people on the tour with us. Overall this is one of the pricer tours in south of france that we looked at, and I don't think is worth the Money. I've done wine tasting in other locations i feel were better.

Perfect Saturday afternoon in Nice

From beginning to the end, everything about this tour was perfect. The host was friendly interesting and went out of her way to ensure we were all relaxed and having a wonderful time. You visit two vineyards and sample some wonderful wines and local dishes. The smaller family run vineyard was a delight. We would recommend this tour to all wine lovers who visit Nice.

Excellent tour guide, education on the local appellation, great views of Nice hillside

We enjoyed the tour. We appreciated the white wines over the reds at both vineyards and tour guide gave us great insight on the history of Nice and the Bellet appellation and local varietals. The tour giude also had a great sense of humor. Provence is a misnomer as the Vineyards are in Nice proper.

Overpriced tour with low quality wine

Wine quality below average in both wineries and no chocolate or candid fruits advertised were actually offered, but various bread varieties instead. Chateau de Cremat is well run with an interesting art gallery and link to Chanel makes an interesting story, but wine quality lets it down. Not a good value for money. Would have been OK with just a trip to Chateau de Cremat only at half the price charged. Not a wine tasting tour, but an excursion around outskirts of Nice.

Wine & Food!

The first winery was amazing! They were kind friendly & offered quite a bit for their tasting. Both in wine & food. The ratatouille & anchovies tart were so delicious! The second winery offered rich history but little wine for the tasting but the staff were equally as sweet.

Winery Bliss

Marie was a wonderful guide who shared her passion for Nice and the wineries she took us to. Highly recommend this wine tour. The wineries each were special in their own way with beautiful views and delish wines.

Fantastic excursion into bellet wine country

I thoroughly enjoyed this wine tour which included visits to 2 wineries, very much enjoyed to hear about the history of the region, the fantastic organic wines we tasted and the local food. I fully recommend this tour.

Beautiful day & delicious wine

Absolutely beautiful wine tour! I loved getting to go to an intimate family owned vineyard where we learn about the whole local industry. We also got a taste of local food delicacies along with our wine. The second vineyard was on a large commercial chateau that was stunning. Here we got to spend time walking around and doing as we please. I loved the juxtaposition of the two locations. A truly beautiful day!

Beware!!!!

The tour was nice, but they did not live up to the description online. We went to Domaine de la Source, but not Chateau de Bellet. They substituted Chateau de Cremat. I had already booked another tour of Chateau de Cremat with Viator. Viator refused to acknowledge that this was not the tour I booked. I intentionally paid more to go to smaller, organic wineries - Chateau de Cramat is not that. I only asked for 50% refund because they only provided 50% of what they promised. I sent them the information off their own website that described going to Domaine de la Source and Chateau de Bellet and driving by Chateau de Cremat. They responded that they reveiwed "All available information" and still gave me no reason for refusing the refund. Beware!!! Viator does not live up to what they write on the tour description and will not refund your money when they change the deal!

Fantastic tour! Knowledgeable and charming guide!

This tour was an excellent introduction to the local wines! The small winery vs. big winery contrast was educational and good to see. Right from the start, after pick-up, our wonderful guide started sharing details about the local wines, the area, the history, and the people. She was so knowledgeable and friendly! The first stop, the small winery (Domain de le Source) was so charming, from the warm and informal setting, to the "guard" dogs. They shared 4 excellent wines with the guide supplied food pairings, that were also excellent. Our second stop, Chateau de Cremat, with its breathtaking grounds, provided some grandeur. They provided 6 samples of their excellent wines, along with their own charming guide. This is a tour I would book again, even if it was to the same two wineries!

Spectacular

Marie was the absolute best guide we have had on any tour. She was fun, accommodating and connected with the people on the tour. She provided a complete history of Nice as we drove through town towards the Bellet Region. Up the winding roads she answered all questions and gave insight to the surroundings and what makes Nice wines so unique. The food provided was over the top delicious and we were able to try Nicoise food from family operated locations. We went to two different wineries, the first was grand and provided wines to many other regions. The second was like walking into someone’s house and coming a part of their family. Both unique and interesting. The choices accurately reflected the two styles of wineries in Nice. I would give this tour more than 5 stars if possible. It was unique, organic and all around entertaining. Do. NOT look this tour over when booking a winery tour in Nice. Stop and book it! You will not be disappointed

Amazing wine/food experience

Really enjoyed the wine production/tasting tour. Relaxed atmosphere and delicious local deli matching wines.

The best!

This was one of the best tours we have been on. The guide was great and both vineyards were a very different experience but both worth it. You are in a small group of people and she really takes the time to make everything worth it.

Mixed fillings

You lern a lot about the wines from the Bellet hill. But at the Château Crémat you dont get a lot of it to try. Much better at the 2nd winery De la Source.

Awesome tour of Bellet wineries

Marie was a great tour guide, providing a history of Nice and other unexpected bonuses during the trip. The wineries were beautiful, some wonderful wines, and Marie provided awesome local food pairings to taste with the wines at the second winery. So happy we chose this tour!

Nice Wine Tour

We had a great time doing the organic wine tour in Nice 🇫🇷🍷. Marie (our tour guide) was awesome - she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the region. The wineries we visited were also fantastic! I would definitely recommend it to others!

A well run tour! We oved spending the afternoon with the local wineries. A special time and experience given by the family of La Source as they were all gracious hosts in providing appetizers and wine on their patio.

Great way to spend an afternoon in Nice

We enjoyed our half-day wine tasting! The four-hour tasting was perfect - it left plenty of time to enjoy our morning and still make it back in time for dinner. We especially enjoyed our visit to Domaine de la Source. The wine was lovely, and the winemaker and family were hospitable. Highly recommend this tasting for an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

Wonderful afternoon in Nice

Lovely day spent at the organic winery. Great host and wonderful people all around. A big plus, the beautiful little Pomeranian accompanying the host is the cutest little thing on the planet! That alone made the trip worth while. We had a wonderful afternoon on this tour.

Perfect half day wine excursion in Provence.

This was an easy yet satisfying half day experience with 2 teens and a 12 year old in tow. Our group of 6 had an amazing experience from start to finish. The tour guide Marie was great with communicating before the tour and was an exceptional, patient and knowledgeable guide. The tour at the wineries were very well organized. We were able to order our wines to be shipped back to California. Lots of great food samples provided during the first stop so try not to eat right before the tour. Perfect for a family or small group looking to experience Provence wine tours without a full day commitment.

Excellent wine tour!

Provence wine tour was excellent! Our tour guide and driver took great care getting us to and from the winery ! I was so grateful our guide asked if anyone gets car sick! I DO! Very considerate! Thank you! Highly recommend this tour!

Family winery is a nice way to close the tour!

The tour started off with two groups in two vans - we had to split up due to seating but wasn’t a big deal. The tour is in two parts with a big winery and a family winery. The highlight of the two is the smaller one. Small local apps are provided which were delicious. Met some cool people from other parts of the US and Europe. Tour guides could be a little friendlier but that is also not the French way. Nice to see the Provence region and Nice from a different view. Recommend bringing water with you.

Excellent half day tour, highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time at two lovely wineries, guided by the very knowledgeable Marie. We visited an incredible castle, and a humble family owned winery, both impressive in their own right. We tasted the different varieties of wine and had very tasty local snacks at the end of the tour. The total time out was around 4 hours and that was a perfect amount of time. Would highly recommend to people to do this tour!

Great experience!

Awesome day spent on wineries! It was the first time we were on wineries and heard how the wine is made. The excursion is special, because you can see how is working industrial scale winery and family winery. Both were interesting to visit and to see the difference. At family winery had also some local home made food from our guide Marie. The place was very nice, like province, green, calm, peaceful and in small company (we were 5 persons on excursion). So, it felt like time with friends. Marie is awesome and it was an excellent time!

Day out on the bike with some nice wines!

The best day in Nice! Juan was a great guide, super knowledgeable and funny. Riding the bikes was easy but you still get a bit of exercise in :) Learning about the urban vineyards was really interesting and we loved tasting the wines, too! Lovely picnic after. Really recommend!

Definitely recommend!

Koko was our driver and met us right on time. The van was very comfortable and he was so friendly. The first winery was awesome. We got a great tour of the château and had multiple tastings. Our guide was so friendly. The next spot was the smaller winery. The tour was shorter. We tried a few different wines and were also given some homemade snacks that were delicious. We were a group of six and would all recommend this tour!

Cancelled short notice

I would give it zero stars if possible. Was to be one of the highlights of our Nice trip but it was cancelled the night before as it wasn’t worth their while. Can’t say how disappointed we are. Really poor service. Because of the short notice we were unable to book an alternative tour. If you really want to experience this type or trip, use another provider!

A must do in Nice!

Guide, wine

We loved our tour. Our guide Koko is super nice and really was the reason we enjoyed our wine tour so much! The wines are very tasteful. The first winery we visited was very charming and we could also relax in a beautiful garden and taste amazing snacks the host had made for us. I definitely would recommend this tour and especially having Koko as their Guide!

Amazing tour guide

I had high expectations and they were fully met with this tour. Our tour guide brought us to two different wineries to let us compare a larger winery to a family owned winery which we really appreciated. Not only this, but she brought many pastries and sweets for us to enjoy as she taught us about the region and served us wine. All in all a great tour that we’d definitely recommend!
