Great Day Trip Outside of Delhi

This was a fantastic trip. My driver Sharma did a great job working through the traffic. The guide Himanshu did a good job explaining the significance of the religious sites and the two cities. He answered all of my questions and made me feel welcome. He also adapted the tour to my interests. I really enjoyed the boat ride across the Ganges and walking the suspension bridge.

Amazing Tour

What was amazing. I was a little reluctant about taking this tour but shortly after I met the driver I knew I made the right decision of deciding to continue with the tour. Ajax was lively and knowledgeable and genuinely kind. I felt like he appreciated the nature of his job and I would tour with him again in the future.

Probably better off choosing a different company

I booked a tour with this company and it was decent. We had decent but not outstanding guides and the trips went fine. The driver was excellent and took great care of us. I would have rated this higher/4 stars except that the vendor seemed too concentrated on getting his money which I did not understand. Maybe this is a cultural thing or maybe he gets ripped off sometimes. Anyway, I think you are better off with someone else.

Magical Rishikesh

This is the best tour I've taken, not only in India, but in all of my travels. You feel the beautiful energy of Haridwar and Rishikesh the moment you enter. What really made the tour special, though, were my guide and my driver. My driver Sharma arrived nice and early, and he was so kind, patient, and made great conversation along the way. It was a very long day, yet he drove me back to Delhi safely with a smile on his face. My guide, Ajay, was phenomenal. I can imagine how difficult it is to see the same sights day after day as a guide, but Ajay really went out of his way to make sure my day was special. It was as if he was experiencing Rishikesh and Haridwar for the first time with me (but of course he had tremendous knowledge on each area). I love it when a guide is patient and doesn't make me feel like we are rushing from place to place, and Ajay had all of those great qualities a guide should have and then some. If you are going to take a long day trip to Rishikesh let it be with this company, as well as this guide and driver. 🙏

Wonderful experience

Wonderful experience at one of the oldest holy places on Earth. The experience is beyond imagination and felt outmost purity. The place could have been more hygienic as it is one of the most visited places in India. Also, the driver was very polite and the guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic to show more amazing places.

Brilliantly renovated the ghat just looks fantastic. A divine place for Hindu people, with chilled water for baths and a wonderful atmosphere. The cleanliness was great and the effort was to preserve the heritage and also ensure comfortable visiting facilities. This is an iconic place and the evening Ganga aarti is a must-see. Best day tour

The place has very peaceful vibes, especially at night. The water is cold, but you get refreshed after dips in the Ganges. It's a single-day visit place. There is a good market for shopping but you have to bargain they sometimes tell you higher prices. Food is also within the budget and fabulous in taste. So, experience was good and highly recommended.

Mr Giri, the guide was fantastic. He was born in the area and showed me around as only a local could. He is also a very devout Hindu, which is also what you want in this most holy of Hindu places.

What a beautiful and peaceful place is this...! You should have a dip in holy Ganga water which is extremely cold even in summer due to the high flow and running water. Also, driver and guide were amazing. The vibe of this place is something else, you connect with god, and you can enjoy evening aarti here and nice veg food as well. Best day spent

Long day but it’s worth it

If you’re short of time and still would like to get a glimpse of Rishikesh & Haridwar then this tour is the best option. It’s really a long day as advertised, however the great driver and tour guide makes it worthwhile. You’ll get to see the main sights in Rishikesh and see locals in action around the Ganges river. Aarti ceremony in Haridwar is really special and the highlight of this tour. I went on solo and completely felt safe thanks to the organising company keeping in touch regularly.

Best time and money invested in tour and day

Haridwar and Rishikesh day tour was amazing and excellent place. We started at 06 in the morning and started with the amazing driver Mr.Satish and when we reached there we met amazing guide Sanjay. Sanjay was one of the greatest person who explored Every places possibly in Rishikesh and Haridwar. Return back to Delhi was very smooth we get bit tired but it was the best investment for this tour. Very very very highly recommended.

Lovely experience

The highlight of the tour was reaching the summit, where the panoramic view was absolutely breathtaking. The trail was well-maintained and offered stunning views of the surrounding nature. The guide was very knowledgeable and made sure that the pace was comfortable for everyone in the group. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back and do it again.

Excellent Ganga Aarti Ceremony

We were 2 and both enjoyed the each and every part of the tour. The driver was longer but visited Sugar cane factory and restaurant was very clean. Driver Pawan Shukla was so good with his services and made us very comfortable during the whole tour. The car was excellent condition. Big smile services and joyful day tour

Wonderful day tour, drive to Rishikesh was easy and nice with this long journey, didn’t feel anxious and nervous because the driver Sharma was so good and good human. He made us so comfortable and stopped the vehicle whenever we needed. We reached Rishikesh around 11 and met with guide Nitin, guide Nitin was so good in English and we didn’t feel even strange. My mother was so happy that she walked around the river and enjoyed the most beautiful “Ganga Aarti Ceremony” which held on the Triveni Ghat at Rishikesh. Explored each and every places which was possible covered in a day. Everything was perfect and we will surely recommend this to my nearest and dearest who wish to go Haridwar ans Rishikesh in India. A great day trip to Rishikesh and Haridwar.

What a great day we had yesterday (29/11/2023) on our day trip to Rishikesh and Haridwar. Mr Sharma our excellent driver collected us at 6am from our hotel and we started the long drive to Haridwar. Mr Sharma is an excellent driver, negotiating the crazy traffic calmly, and we felt very deafening with him at the wheel. We enjoyed chatting to him. We had a stop for breakfast, and another to see a family-run sugar cane business which was really interesting. We met our guide Arjun in Haridwar and drove to Rishikesh. We spent a good time there walking along the Ganga, crossing the bridge and visiting two temples. The big one in the river was fascinating and beautiful. Arjan gave us a stop for coffee and cake too. Then it was off to Haridwar. We stopped at an amazing huge temple complex on the way, and walked round - we got to see them preparing the meals they make to give for free to anyone who wants it. We also stopped to admire a huge statue of Shiva. Once in the banks of the Ganga we had a quick cup of chai and a snack in a rooftop restaurant with a great view. Arrange arranged a seated view of the Arti for us. It was amazing! So many people and so colourful. Then it was time for the long ride back to Delhi with Mr Sharma. It is a long day and you do spend a lot of time in the car, (the views on the way are always interesting and time passed quickly) but this is an amazing trip and we are so glad we did it. Thank you Arjan and Mr Sharma.

Very bad experience

Lost 12 hours of my day in a car, when I got there it was impossible to enter and walk due to public holiday. The guide told me it will take 3 hours more on top of the 5 to get to rishikesh and then 3 hours to comeback so I will miss the light ceremony. At the end we didn’t go to rishikesh, but also we didn’t see the light ceremony or any of the places listed. They took me around the river and because it was an Indian holiday there was about 50000 people so I could barely walk. It was full of trash, dirty, didn’t see what they offer. I requested 70% of the refund and they said no. Is sad that a local company knowing how difficult and impossible is to offer a tour that day still do it just to get money. Very sad and disappointing

It was a very good tour. I have seen a lot of ashrams and Ganga Aarti. The guide offered many info about hindu religion and yoga. Also the driver was perfect for the 9 hours ride from an to Delhi

Driver great; rest disappointing

The driver Pawan was absolutely fantastic and professional. I felt extremely comfortable as a solo traveller travelling with him. The guide, however, once we arrived was unprofessional and unenthusiastic. He showed me a few temples and then that was that and he told me we had lots of time and nothing to do. It would have been better to arrange a driver without a guide and save a lot of money. The guide has more interest in taking selfies with me and asking me uncomfortable questions as opposed to taking me to see any sights. He also made me pay for a boat across the river which was ludicrous with the price of the tour. I am not even sure what I paid for!

Wonderful day tour with amazing staff of tour company. Guide was superb with his knowledge of each minute of handline this tour. Driver wqs veey smooth and calm and he made me very comfortable for the whole day. Overall it was perfect time and the Rishikesh was too beautiful. We will plan again to visit for few days.

It was a long day, but much easier than expected. Road condition was fine, vehicle was new and clean. Ganga ceremony was once in a life time experience. Tour guide and driver both helpful and friendly.

Do not mis going to Hardiwar and Rishikesh

Great intro to the roots of the Hindu religion and its customs Shows you another way of life you do not find in the large cities like Delhi. Be prepared for a long, rough ride!
