Half Day Old Delhi City Tour: Explore Spice Markets & Street Food

Amazing trip

We had an amazing trip today with our great guide Junaid. This was only our second day in India and Junaid made us feel very comfortable and welcome from the beginning. He shared very interesting knowledge and took great photographs of me and my partner. There is an option for restaurant or street food - we had the street food which was very tasty - lots of options so make sure you are hungry. Junaid changed our drop off location so we could get an easier metro back to our hotel - he went above and beyond. He also offered to recommend food and drinks around our hotel. 100% recommend.

Interesting overview of Old Delhi

This is a good overview of Old Delhi, but had much more walking than anticipated or described in the “what to expect” section. I believe your experience will depend on which guide is assigned to you. Confirm with your guide about the stops, water, and snacks provided before embarking. Company was accommodating in adjusting time and drop off location to my needs.

Easy way to see some of Delhi in a short time

I took this tour with my guide Junaid after only a few hours from landing in Delhi. As I didn't have a lot of time and as a woman travelling alone was a bit nervous to explore on my own, this tour was perfect! You see Delhi from the Tuk Tuk while going from place to place and the guide gives you a lot of information on Delhi and the places visited. My Junaid was amazing and also took a lot of amazing photos for me (a lot of the photos I added were taken by him) as he knows the places and best photo angles, and I also got some photos of myself in the visited places. He also kindly helped me to get an Indian SIM card so I can use internet during my visit. Thank you Junaid for a grest tour and all your help!

Great old Delhi tour

Rumy gave us a great tour of Old Delhi, teaching us about all the sights and main monuments and ensured we had a good time. Definitely would recommend this tour

We had limited time and...

We had limited time and this tour was a great way to experience the culture of Delhi by visiting the markets, Mosque, and Temple in a few hours. Our guide Harshit was very knowledgeable and knew the best places to stop within the spice market and street food vendors. We enjoyed our Tuk-Tuk ride.

Amazing excursion

The most memorable moments were experiencing the jama masjid and the spice market. My tour guide Junaid was very knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend for solo and group travelers!

Great afternoon trip

Was a great introduction for our first day in India. Our guide was awesome and prepared us with helpful hints- took amazing pictures at JAMA. Tried some local snack and great conversation.

Old Delhi tour

Great tour of old Delhi if you’re pushed for time. The tuk-tuk ride quickly immerses you in the frantic streets, and allows you to catch the major sights. My guide, Lareb, used the quiet spaces at Jama Masjid to expertly share the history of the city and its people. Everything ran smoothly, from hotel pick-up to hotel return.

A tour to Old Delhi.

Driver was on time to pick me up to meet my private guide, Harsh. He is very polite and shared a lot of information about Old Delhi. It was quite an experience on a tuk tuk ride, seeing the local market and visiting the mosque and temple. We even stopped for samosa at a local shop. Thank you Keeper Landwey for arranging this private tour for me last time and Harsh for showing me different places. I really enjoyed it.

Wonderful tour with an interesting guide

We had an amazing tour with Lareba. We’ve seen several religious cites, visited the spices market in Old Delhi, took several tuk-tuk rides, which is a separate must have experience. Lareba is very knowledgeable, answered millions of questions, helped to solve a couple dilemmas by explaining the real situation in India and New Delhi. Lareba took us to taste local “street food”, which was delicious. All in all, our tour was full of smiles.

Old Delhi Tuk-Tuk incredible experience

Visiting Old Dali was a incredible experience riding on a Tk-Tuk. I was able to interact with local people and what they do daily. The mosque was beautiful. A lots of people from everywhere in India. I walked on the narrows streets by the Chandi Chowk market, I felt safe. My tour guide Shamin was very polite. He was knowledgeable and took me some awesome pictures. We ended the night tour with a very delicious Indian diner at The Palace Spice

Fun tuk tuk experience

The tour started half an hour late because the company told us to meet up at 0815 while they told the driver to pick us up at 0900, so a bit of time wasted there. But the tour itself was fun, our guide Isha took us to a Sikh temple and it was an interesting experience. She also tried to fit in as much of our requests into the schedule as possible.

A must-do in Delhi

Loved this tour! Aamir is a credit to Keeper Landwey, his knowledge and enthusiasm was admirable. Aamir went out of his way to make the tour excellent and I would recommend to anyone!

Awesome Tour of Old Delhi with Aamir

This tour is a really great introduction of Delhi, our guide Aamir was exceptional, he was always very attentive with us and recommending the best places to visit, the best photo spots and we even had some local food. i would recommend you ask for Aamir when booing this tour, he really made the trip more enjoyable. also the logistics were great. 10/10

TukTuk Old Delhi

Tour was amazing! I had only a 3 hour window in which to enjoy the highlights of the city after landing into Delhi, and my guide Harshit and driver Fahim picked me up from the airport in order to facilitate this timeframe. They are super kind and friendly gentlemen who gave me such a warm welcome to their country. The tuk tuk driver was also very skilled and drove beautifully while Harshit introduced me to the history of Old Delhi. He is very knowledgeable and provided some pictures to help assist with the explanations. We visited gorgeous sights -where Harshit’s talents as a photographer shined as he proceeded to take lots of photos and videos to ensure I took away lasting memories. This tour is an easy and fun way to squeeze in a taste of India in a short time frame!

Fantastic surprise

We had a fantastic tour discovering Old Delhi with Isha. She was very kind and explain to us a lot of interesting things about this amazing city. We enjoyed the Tuk-Tuk experience!

Beautiful tour through Old Delhi

Kamran, our tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He met us at our hotel, and a tuk tuk driver drove us around to different parts of Old Delhi. He took us to beautiful religious sites in the Old Delhi that we otherwise would not have know how to approach. We also went to food stalls and ate delicious street food. Kamran took lots of photos of us, speaks English very fluently, and speaks Mandarin.

Fantastic Tour

My daughter and I had such a lovely time today - the time flew by and we were looked after so well by our guide, Isha. Isha explained both about historical points of interest and everyday life in Delhi and was very entertaining. Our driver, Raahim, was also extremely kind and helpful and we would not hesitate to recommend this tour to others - it has easily been the highlight of our stay in Delhi.

Delhi Tour

We had Isha as our guide, very bubbly young lady who is extremely knowledgeable on the places we visited. She was extremely sweet that she presented us with a small gift (fruits) when she first board the car. She was full of tricks as well, like making us 2nd guesses her stories which we thought that she's humorous and definitely fun to be with. Thank you Isha for the Delhi experience 🙏 😊

Short Tour - At Old Delhi

We were lucky to have Riyaz as our guide in Old Delhi. He shared his experience and he fully encourage us to feel and see the real Indian culture and scene in Old Delhi flee Market. It was a good short tour if you have a short amount of time in Delhi. Tuk tuk ride was amazing as well.

Nice 3 hours

We booked at the last minute but Zaid took care of everything and we are able to cover most of the places. Food at cannaght place is excellent.

Wonderful visit to the Red Fort and National Museum. The guide and driver were very helpful and informative. Would highly recommend taking this tour.

Part of 4 days Golden Triangle tour

The tour was short and sweet. Guide Harshid gave us a run down of Jama Masjid with current affairs as well as past history which was quite interesting. Chandi Chawk and Spice Market, there was not much to see, though we got some sweets from local market. We finished the trip in 1 and 1/2 hour. Overall it was good. Harshid made it fun!

Great Tour for Solo Female Travelers

I booked a solo tour, Amir was my guide, and Babban as the driver. He was nice and knowledgable. Both made me feel very safe as a solo female traveler. Both were very attentive to my needs, and made sure I got home safe. They sent a car with a really nice driver Babban that helped us travel between tuk tuks and it was so helpful because it was insanely hot! They were so well equipped they even provided tiny waters so we didn't get dehydrated. Amir was really knowledgeable about Old Delhi. We saw Sikh & Muslim temples, enjoyed the spice market, had shopping experiences, and saw various other monuments. I would to book this company again for any other excursions or tours I might need in the future.

Delhi tour

We had a great tour today with Harsh and wonderful driving by Harpal. We were taken to Askardham, Lotus Temple and others during the day and it was spectacular

Knowledgeable & nice

With Riyaz as tourguide and Faeem as driver I had a great tour covering historical monuments of Dehli. Riyaz is knowledgeable and wants to share. He adapts to your needs if required. Faeem drives save and provides comfort between the sights. Would ask for them both on a next tour. We visited Muslim, Hindi and Sikhs temples, parks and sight like mr Ghandi's.

First time in New Delhi

Isha have been very warm and friendly in introducing the places in Delhi! The tuktuk rides have been fun!

Must do tour in Old Delhi!

The first thing you want to know about Riad is that he loves what he does. Therefore the tour was amazing! The right way to explore Old Delhi has to be by tuktuk together with someone who fully understand the packed streets of Old Delhi. I was a little afraid to explore using the tuktuk but trust me you wont regret it, it is fun and it is the real deal. Riad answered all the thousand questions we had and he is really a cool guy!
