An absoute favourite, my daughter and I try to go at least once a year, well worth paying for the spa dreaming centre as it gets so busy in the main section, had a wonderful massage and a superb lunch - cant wait to go back!

Wonderful place for vacation and relaxing

We had a wonderful experience at the Peninsula Hot Springs with our friends. We indulged in the Turkish bath, enjoyed relaxing massages, and savored a delicious lunch together. The facility was impeccably clean and the ambiance was delightful. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made our visit even more enjoyable. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a weekday escape, I highly recommend this place for its wide range of options and exceptional experience.

Could not believe that you have gone cashless.. we need to be an example to our children, by going cashless you are bowing down to the corrupt agenda.. WONT be back and neither will a whole lot of others that are awake to what is going on..

Lacking the glamping luxury experience they sell

Visited Monday 18th July for glamping. This is our second visit to the Hot Springs. On arrival everything was explained perfectly. We parked at short term parking to check in. We then drove to our tent number 9. We was gifted a bottle of sparkling as it was my partners birthday & our anniversary. We arrived at 3pm & our massage & facial was at 4pm. We had just missed the lunch. I asked could we order pizza for when our massages finished. The waiter, a lovely guy said he would happily do them after (light snacks go from 3pm -5pm). When we finished our massage/facial I attempted to order the pizzas at 5:10pm. We was told quiet abruptly by a moody young lady that this could not be done. The guy was there & appeared defeated by the women who were adamant this would not be done. We was sent down stairs, out in the cold to the cafe. It really felt cheap to our $1100 glamping experience. The massages & facials were amazing! My skin glowed. After our pizza we returned to our tent to get ready for some bathing. The bathing was amazing. We enjoyed until as late as mid night. Dinner at 7:30pm - I walked into the main dining area to hear that young lady call out “have you a booking?” My partner stopped and answered her. I continued to the restaurant & gave the wait staff my name. I did not like the way she called out. The restaurant was not busy. I ordered the beef native curry as I had enjoyed this last year. To my disappointment it was not that great. I barely ate it. My partner ordered the barramundi. He enjoyed this very much so. During our meal this waitress spoke to another staff about a glamping couple who left dinner owing some money. She appeared annoyed. Her presence made me feel uncomfortable. She had very poor mannerisms. I expected more for the experience we paid for. We ordered a hot chocolate to take away & two deserts to dine in. We had three different wait staff. She came back & asked do you want to take the deserts away? We felt we was being pushed out the door. The deserts were just cafe cabinet food. Not a glamping dining experience. The dinner experience from the food, staff & atmosphere was very poor. Breakfast - The kitchen was closed. We was advised of this the week prior. We received a beautiful breakfast pack to our room. It was delicious. We was advised we could get complimentary coffee & juices at the cafe. This would have been nice if they delivered as we ate breakfast with no hot drink or sparking. Loved the tent. Very romantic & could be such a wonderful experience. Unsure if I’ll return for a glamping experience due to the lack of luxury feel. Apart from the facial, massage & late bathing I did not get the experience I was hoping for.

vouchers not honoured - money hungry dishonest Peninsula hot springs

I purchased a voucher as an anniversary gift during COVID to support the business and something to look forward to. unfortunately was not able to use it until now, only to be told the voucher expired. 2 months past expiry. Dont buy a voucher whatever you do, unless you use it in time you are just gifting the company money for nothing. I will be taking my money elsewhere next time. Peninsula you are money hungry grubs

Anniversary ruined by Management's loud, inappropriate meeting in $$$ Spa Dreaming Dining Room

Management showed absolute disregard for customers in the expensive Spa Dreaming dining area by having a loud business meeting for the entire duration of our meal on the table next to where we were seated. What should have been a relaxing anniversary celebration at $170pp Dine and Spa was beyond stressful as a result. We requested to be moved away from the meeting and were reseated at the other end of the restaurant where we could still hear the meeting across the room. Then to our horror, the manager and his offsider moved to the table immediately next to us again to debrief their meeting. We could not escape. We were privy to lots of information customers should never have to hear, criticising others in the meeting (expletives and all), discussion about carer requirements for conscious birthing and conscious dying, etc. Why were these loud meetings held at tables immediately next to customers trying to escape the stresses of 'the real world', paying top dollar for a relaxing meal as part of an upgraded package. Surely in such an expansive facility there are dedicated meeting rooms for management to use? We could not wait to escape the dining room. This ruined our entire experience of Peninsula Hot Springs. Our feedback to the official feedback email a full week ago was completely ignored. An apology or refund or complementary return visit would have been a nice gesture. Ignoring customers in the dining room and in the feedback inbox is inappropriate and beyond unprofessional. No, we will not pay again for the privilege of giving Hot Springs a second chance.

Chillaxed

We enjoyed a wonderful 9 hour of taking our time to enjoy the hot springs, an occasional dip in the cool pool and enjoy the steam room. It is such a chilled experience worth every cent in the Spa Dreaming Centre!

Always Fabulous

I do love everything about the Peninsula Springs, except the lack of toilets in the spa dreaming centre. We booked lunch and a massage as well and it was all excellent. We also wandered through the bath house areas which are HUGE and more areas and experiences are coming which we'd love to try.

What a great experience. Recommended.

Wow what a great day. The staff were absolutely first class with their customer service. The dining was fantastic. We loved the experience and recommend it highly. Everything was just right. Springs were above expectations. Do it. We will again.

Holiday Relaxation

The experience for us was the pools, and we tried them all over a four and a half hour period of relaxation. We went from the hot pool, took a break, then in a not so hot pool. Then do it again. We had some lunch during the experience, which lovely. The staff are great, and are plentiful. The value is outstanding and I recommend this attraction. We'll certainly be back when we next visit the Peninsula.

Very relaxing

Spa dreaming centre was definitely worth the money, really enjoyed the quieter experience. The food in the restaurant was lovely, we had the fish of the day and the curry, unfortunately the fish was lacking as a full meal, there just wasn’t enough sides to call it satisfying, the curry on the other hand was very filling. Both meals were very nice.

OVER CROWDED

After 10 years from my first visit, I would never recommend going on a Saturday night… my partner and I walked the entire premises before finding a pool we could fit in…. We all sat on top of each other, there were that many people. Definitely a potential COVID breeding ground. IT WAS DISAPPOINTING AND DISGUSTING. Please limit your numbers to allow a relaxing experience for all.

An experience, just not a relaxing one

We arrived with plenty of time and lucky we did because it was a bit of a walk from the car park to main reception. Once we arrived we waited in a long queue to be seen and once we were at the check in desk the staff member told us that there were no robes left despite the fact we had prepaid for towels, robes and locker hire. We were offered two towels each or a refund. We still needed the towels and locker, so we accepted the second towels. Our next dilemma though was there were NO lockers available for us to use in either the male or female change rooms, so no we are carrying around two towels each plus our bags. I'm not sure why on earth we paid for robes and lockers if the venue were not able to accommodate it (I guess because there are SO many people there but good management would be prepared for this and not offer services they couldn't deliver) In the end I asked for a full refund for the locker/robes/towels which was actioned without hesitation, so that I appreciated. One review was titled water park without the slides and they weren't wrong, We attended on a Tuesday that was NOT during school holidays and every pool was jam packed with people. People everywhere, every pool packed, the cafe packed. It just seems to be very poorly managed, almost as if they care more about making money than actually ensuring people who attend have a great experience. Overall it was definitely an experience, not a peaceful one and one that I probably won't do again. My advice: - Leave plenty of time to arrive at reception to check in. We had to park further away due to how busy it was and it is a bit of a walk to reception - Bring your own towel/robe and only bring the necessities. Do NOT spend the extra money paying for a towel, robe or locker - Unless you're going to pay for a private bath, just pay the basic $30 entry. Everything else is a rip off - Don't worry about what time you should attend to avoid the crowds, you won't avoid the crowds - Trust the negative reviews

Glamping is amazing

This is our second time glamping at the Hot Springs. Check in as 2pm and you can go straight to tent and get changed. The glamping accomodation is really great. The bed is very comfortable and warm. The floor is heated which is great when you come back from the spas. You can get new dry towels and robes with is great. I love being able to come and go. The spa dreaming centre is open to guests only from 11pm which is also great, very quiet and private. The only fault is the menu for room service. They really only have pizza to chose from for dinner, there is a restaurant but that was booked out so we were disappointed that we could only have pizza for dinner. It is expensive at $650 a night (at time of writing this) but I think it's worth it to be able to come and go, have lovely accomodation and have private access (even if it is late) to the springs.

No where near as good as it used to be

Not as good as it used to be. Used to be amazing. Shockingly over crowded and smelt of chlorine. After coming for many years I was really disappointed with my last visit. The place felt out of control and badly managed. I rang to change my booking and after 30 mins on hold gave up and emailed and never received a response. The staff were happy to amend things on arrival but they seemed stressed and a bit frantic. The springs have grown considerably in the last few years and I don't think they have managed the demand effectively. We went on the weekend. I'll try again mid week to see if that's better but otherwise I think in future I'll give the place a miss. Disappointed as I used to love the place.

Too budy

Hot pools were great far too many people ended up leaving because we couldn’t get into a pool after dinner

If you are a member of the LGBTQIA+ community (specifically transgender), you should reconsider coming here. My trans partner and I came for a relaxing day, but left feeling disappointed. As we were in one of the baths with two other customers, a staff member of the Morning Peninsula Hot Springs began conversing with them and made a comment about concerns raised by the LGBTQIA+ community about the gendered change rooms at the Hot Springs. This staff member derogatorily spoke about the transgender community and said how her father is an electrician and there is a “female plug and a male plug and that’s just how it is”. This comment incited the customers to have a 20 minute conversation about their transphobic opinions which left us feeling uncomfortable, unsafe and caused us to leave early. It’s not good enough that this took place and management should be providing sensitivity training to staff members. People of all identities and body types should feel comfortable at the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs and if this is not happening, this is an issue that should be taken seriously.

Beautiful but confusing place

The Peninsula Hot Springs is an amazing place and really the company have it all there ready to go. The problems start at the website where it’s near impossible to understand which area is public and which is private. I have visited the springs twice and I still don’t understand the website. I’m currently trying to book a day there but it’s so confusing! A more simpler website plus more instructions upon arrival would be amazing. Although the website has been updated, it is STILL mindblowingly confusing. Upon arrival it’s still a bit of a guessing game. More instructions and signage would be of benefit. Also, what time do we arrive? Before I book morning or afternoon sessions, I need to know what time these are. So frustrating! PLEASE FIX THIS! Other than that the baths are amazing. Always busy but that is just how it is.

Busier than expected

Were not given a map or much of an introduction on things when we arrived which was dissappointing. Didn't like that you were expected to put money onto wristband initially to pay for things and get the balance refunded later rather than just pay as you leave. Much busier than expected even though we went on a weekday. Definitely recommend the fire and ice experience. It was the highlight. One of the food areas was closed which was dissappointing. Pizza was great but hospitality staff seemed run off their feet. Would consider private bathing options if I went back.

Awful

My young sons booked this for me as a Mother's Day present. Unfortunately they arranged it for this Saturday. My husband has been admitted urgently to hospital. There was no phone access and they informed me by email that the booking could not be transferred or refunded and referred me to the website. My sons were under the impression the booking date could be transferred and or upgraded. They were duped. A really awful experience. BEWARE!!!

Peninsula Hot Springs has changed

It is only 1 hr now and I mean 1 hour they cone around and herd you out Sorry Peninsular Hot Springs you have shot yourself in the foot big business gone greedy. It will a long time till I am back rather go wine tasting

Try it at least once - fantastic

The day wasn't warmest day we could have chosen to walk around all day in wet bathers, but the numerous pools were so warm and inviting, the coolness of the day was readily forgotten. There is a pool temperature to suit all tolerances, but I would recommend getting the full experience and try them all. Tip, take either your own towel or wrap and keep one of them dry. Having nothing dry to put on when you're resting is not pleasant. This is one experience we will return to.

Delicious lunch and wonderful bathing

Surprised my hubby with a lunch and bathe. This includes bathing in the spa dreaming centre, bathing in the main bath house, lunch, a hot drink and a cold drink. I had a garden bowl (so good) and he had the jambalaya (which he said was amazing). After lunch, had the best time hopping in and out of the different baths. The fire and ice experience (in the main bath house, outside the spa dreaming centre) was so revitalising! The cold plunge is very cold but leaves you feeling incredible afterwards. Did not want to leave. We always love coming here. Thank you Peninsula Hot Springs for a wonderful day. PS the only feedback I have - the change rooms are a bit yucky in the spa dreaming centre. I would recommend more frequent cleaning as the volume of ladies throughout the day is quite high. Hubby said the same thing about the men’s change room. But otherwise we love it here!

Worst Victorian experience ever.

Quite simply this was one of the worst experiences of my life. It got to the point where I would’ve paid money to have been able leave and instantly get back to my hotel. I should clarify that if the weather wasn’t quite so cold and wet I may have found the experience tolerable. It is a very expensive experience costing $210 for a family of four. We booked for 6 pm but it started to rain heavily. That combined with the cold weather indicated the evening would be unpleasant. I asked them it would be possible to delay our booking or change it to the following day but their flippant response was "you're going to be wet anyway." So we went anyway only to find it was terribly crowded in the warm pools, obviously the cold ones empty. Sure enough the rain hit and there was no where under cover to hang our towels. So when we got out of the hot springs in the freezing cold all we had was wet cold towels try and cover ourselves. The hooks for the towels had absolutely no hope in keeping them in place and they soon became muddy as well as wet. Not that it mattered much because in the confusion of people running around try and keep away from the rain our towels were taken by other guests. The place is very poorly illuminated at night which resulted in me spraining my ankle. Despite their claims of maintaining a high hygiene level I was unimpressed when I found a pubic hair on my son’s face. Hopefully it was from someone’s axilla and not from anywhere else. Also being splashed by kids running around and jumping in pools was not my idea of fun. After leaving my wife fainted- the cold triggered a vaso vagal episode. (We are doctors and my wife a cardiologist so we now what we are talking about). Simply this was the worst experience of our two week Victorian holiday. If you must go if you cannot get a decent time and safe weather I would not recommend going.

Beautiful Hot Springs

Staff were lovely and accommodating. Words don’t give the place justice - just experience the baths and hot springs. Must try the fire and ice experience. Will definitely do it again!

Romantically Amazing

Our session was from 5pm to 11pm in the Spa Dreaming (Adults Only) area. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff and provide a bath robe and towel (which we could replace any time we needed) and wrist remote for the lockers. We spent the first hour before tea checking out the many bathing pools. We then went for the included tea where we had the Beef Cheeks. Let me tell you they are to die for. From there we spent the next 3 and half hours just sitting in the bathing pools relaxing. It got even better in the dark with just the path lights for lighting. It was very romantic and cannot recommend enough that for couples the best and most romantic time to go is the evening sessions

Unbeatable

The most amazing mind blowing hot springs I've ever been to. It's out of this world highly highly reccomend. Unfortunately I haven't enjoyed as many hot springs since visiting here as it's completely unbeatable. My partner & I visited here March 2018. & Would say it was without a doubt the most amazing,cleanest,enjoyable springs there is in this world. Well done to the founders and giving us an amazing memorable experience.

Best anniversary present

My husband and I ventured down here for our wedding anniversary in November and wow just wow! What an amazing day we had! Due to covid restrictions the numbers were limited to each bathing area which was perfect! Not crowded, had plenty of time to venture and experience it. We decided we would both do the fire and ice plus the mud/clay experience and a definite experience to do! Thanks for making our day as special and romantic as it could be! Definitely be back for a massage next time

Bathe and Graze

Won a gift voucher in as a door prize last year and realised it was about to expire. Booked our time on line and found out the voucher was not sufficient to cover both Bathe and Graze. Had to pay an additional $60 on top of the voucher value of $190. So with that cost in mind expectations where high. Booked for a Tuesday, as we expected it to be quiet. Wrong! place was packed. the set-up is very well done and with a little less of a crowed. would have been better. Change rooms are adequate and lockers work well. The biggest disappointment was the graze, a few bits a dry toast, prosciutto, salami and dips is disappointing and not good value. Not enough staff in the eating area, as even for the graze platter we waited over 20 minutes. Others might find that all acceptable, but we didn't. very average.

Enchanting...just magical

I’ve been here many times since the early years and it’s always been a magical experience. Took my new partner for our first dine and bathe experience together and it was beyond fabulous! The food was amazing, put together in a palate pleasing fashion and a feast for both the eye and the tastebuds. Our waiter, Justin, was professional, friendly and gave 6-star service. We bathed in both the bath house and dreaming centre and it was really so relaxing. Everything here is designed to be a pleasure to the senses; from the formation of the pools to the stone features everywhere, the surrounding bush land that makes you feel like you’re in a secret valley, and magical night lighting. We cannot wait to return to experience the amphitheater, the fire, ice and bathe, the numerous luxurious spa treatments and special pavilion baths like the lavender milk spa! Expect us to return regularly as we work our way through both your spa and food menus. Looking forward to seeing your accomodation options and doing some glamping on-site as the hot springs leave you so relaxed you just don’t want to drive home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- if you do only one thing on the Mornington Peninsula - this is it!

Great escape with hubby~

My husband and I got a gift voucher from our daughter in law. We definitely had a wonderful time together dinning and enjoyed the bathe as well.

Chilled to the Max

What a day we had - arrived just in time for the most amazing healthy lunch - I had the vegetarian tart of the day - was sooo good. Fish was also amazing - really nice start with a glass of wine :) off to explore and we spent a good 5 hours here - hopping from experience to experience - never bored and super relaxed. Well done PHS

Relaxation to the max!

What an amazing day after a hectic Christmas we just need to wind down and guys was a day of exactly that! We arrived on a very hot day changed into swimmers and were given robes and towels from them the day just kept improving. The bathing was just sublime people spoke in whispers phones were turned off and all you could hear wee the birds singing and the gentle water washing through the baths. Piped music complemented the peaceful surroundings. From there we were taken for one hour relaxation massages which were so superb it was difficult to rise from the bed at the end and sitting drinking the beautiful teas in the recovery room in surroundings that mirrored a Bedouin tent added to the experience. Finally our lunch in the restaurant was a perfect end to a perfect day beautiful food attentive staff and great company. I felt feeling at peace with my world and eager to repeat this day as soon as possible

Delicious and relaxing way to start your day

My husband and I enjoyed a cooked breakfast before spending the morning relaxing as we soaked ourselves in the various hot pools in the adult only section of the Penninsula Hot Springs. It was drizzling but it didn't spoil the atmosphere.
